Had my vehicle worked on by best mechanic they had. Had to take it back 3 times. If you have time to waste and don’t want your car fixed on the first visit use this place. If you don’t have time or money to waste take it elsewhere.

Had a fuel pump failure in a heat wave traveling through Arizona. Called ahead to Flash Auto in Albuquerque New Mexico. Jerry and Mike took me in and fixed me up and had me back on the road in one day. Ordered the part that evening and started working first thing the next day. Replaced fuel pump and #8injector

Ive been doing business with these folks for over 10 years with 5 vehicles and theyve always done the job right. I always get the vehicle back when promised and have never had to take it back for the same repair. They are upfront and honest. No surprises.

I trust these folks. Theyve shot straight with me on several instances. Communicated with me, and didnt follow through with unnecessary work. Solid mechanics, too.

I called around and no one was willing to give me a quote. I didnt need old school mechanical work. It was resetting my mother board (TCM)everyone else wanted me to tow my car to them and be trapped. I called Brandon he answered and he gave me a quote. An expectation was all I needed within 48 hours I had my car back and Brandon went a step further and fixed another issue for me. My only regret was not thanking Brandon personally. So thank you a million times I felt safe in your care. You called me with updates when you said you would. That meant a lot to me. If my car ever gives me trouble again Ill be back.

My experience with Jerry is deplorable, Mike tries do good What they had my truck for 6 months then start working on it till the 5th month and now it blew a head gasket again and the blaming me instead taking care of it...... Truck was only used about 10 times since December because it doesnt run right now And Jerry Keeps blaming me, and not taking care of nothing........

I took my 2003 Sport Trac in after it was “ fixed” by another shop that had it 5 different times (for a total of 2&1/2 weeks)to fix the same problem. They could never get it fixed. I was treated horribly by this shop. Flash Auto (Jerry and Mike) were wonderful. Mike diagnosed my problem fixed my truck and I got it back within 36 hours. He replaced all the parts that the other shop replaced twice. He made sure that the job was done RIGHT!! Let me add, this was a clutch issue, I am a female daughter of a mechanic and know my way around a vehicle. I have been driving a manual transmission vehicle for 45 years and have NEVER burned up a clutch I average 150,000 miles on a clutch. The first shop insulted me by telling me I burnt up the clutch when it was just poor workmanship on their part. Now, thanks to Mike and Jerry at Flash Auto my truck shifts perfectly. Job well done!!!! They were very understanding and 100% respectful. I will NEVER go any place else.

Excellent service, to me and my car! They did a very thorough inspection and then went over each item, why it had to be done, and told me which things I could do myself. They were easy to set appointments with and on time with all their work. Next time I need work, Ill be returning.

I was able to show up without an appointment and had my vehicles air conditioning fixed the same day. They provided detailed honest answers for my problem and I was able to make a decision based on their expert opinion.

I chose them based on a friends recommendation to check out an older used car before buying it. I brought it in, and they looked it over, and the car turned out to have rust all over the undercarriage and brakes. The mechanic spent 20 minutes with me explaining everything and answering all my questions. He was very patient, and when I asked how much I owed him, he said dont worry about it. I think that shows that these guys are doing good business and arent just out to get your money.

I want to thank you for the excellent customer service that you provided to me on 2 occasions. In March of 2013 you helped me save money on an alternator replacement by informing me that my bad alternator was covered under a life time warranty. And then later, in June 2013, I let Flash Automotive know that my charging system was having symptoms… without making me have to come back the next day, or just blowing me off, you checked my charging system diagnostics and let me know the battery was bad. By the way, I went straight to the store and they replaced the battery and now it runs great. Thanks again for great service!

I was able to set up an appointment for this morning right when their service center opened at 8am. They got me in an out for an oil change in 10 minutes and when they saw my brake fluid was low, they replenished it free of charge. Thats how its supposed to work, and I even made it to my job in time.

They take their time to explain whats wrong and why repairs have to be made. I am an idiot about cars but they dont make me feel like one. Also they will do pick up and drop offs if youre close which makes my day about 75x easier.

Always nervous about car repair shops, but Flash was totally straight forward, I went by on a Saturday to inspect my car, it needed a new flex valve, says its going to be $150 and come back on Monday. I drop it off on Monday for a few hours, I picked it up later in the day and the car sounds like new. No hidden fees, excuses or problems. Would totally recommend them, and I never write reviews on here.

2004 Dodge Ram with power steering issues.After my boss replaced the pump once, and I replaced it again - finally had to take it to the experts. Very impressed with the level of customer service. They are quick to answer the phone, check you in, and get your vehicle back as soon as reasonably possible. I did have one hiccup during the maintenance, but they were able to assist and resolve the issue in no time at all. Been awhile, and the truck is still purring away. Thank you.

Thanks a million to all of the Flash Automotive staff! They went to extremes to fix my Lincoln MARK VIII. When 2 other shops told me that the vibration problem at 75-85 mph could never be fixed and told me to just live with it. Flash Automotive kept trying. it took a while but the car runs like new. I just had it out on I-25 and accelerated from 60 to 100 MPH with no vibration in the car. Just one smooth continuous drive all the way!

Took my truck there w engine light on and they couldnt find out what was wrong with it... Got ripped off $500 n problem still on....Oh you might have to take it to the dealer was their suggestion..

Definitely 5 stars--Cris and staff rescued us from a breakdown and got us on our way in one day. We were traveling from Ky towards Washington and our 1994 Ford van was leaking and beginning to over heat--of course on a Sunday! So a 50 mile tow from Mesita back to Flash auto in Albuquerque--and a 1 mile walk with luggage to near hotel!Then walk back to repair shop Monday --and waiting at the door at 8am-- we were sooo stressed. Cris was so kind-- worked us in --replaced the heater coil -- and we were ready to be on our way by 11am !!! Very reasonable and have NAPA 24 month warranty as well.We wanted to thank them all --as we really appreciated their amazing service--the best way we thought would be to publically thank them.

Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the service I received from them the other day. Its a pleasure to deal with people that are fair and honest.

A couple weeks ago on July 11th, 2013 at 5pm I called into Flash Automotive to see what could be done about my charging system having problems in my 1994 Buick LeSabre. They told me to come on in even though it was just about closing time and I was about 15 minute away. Well I brought her in anyway and they checked my charging system diagnostics and let me know the battery was bad. You could have told me to come back the next day or just blown me off but you still wanted to make sure I was fit to be on the road. You installed a new battery in record time and it was a great relief to have my car back. Thanks again for great service!

Flash Automotive is freaking terrific! We have used them for about 5 years now on two different vehicles - probably a dozen different visits now - and have always felt like they have done a fantastic job. I once made the mistake of having my car towed to AAMCO on Lomas & Lousiana and it was a terrible experience and an astronomical quote for work they couldnt guarantee. I called the tow truck and paid the $80 to just have it taken to Flash who fixed it quickly and for far less than what AAMCO quoted. Should have just had it towed to Flash to begin with, but went with the shop closest to me at the time. Lesson learned. Just go to Flash from the beginning and save yourself some time.After every service, they give you an inspection report that shows other things that should get attention soon. I had some engine mounts that needed to be replaced and an oil pan leak. They worked out the price to include the labor for both only once which saved me $300.Affordable rates, excellent customer service and mechanics who stand behind their work. Save yourself time & money and just call these guys first. They are the best!

Most females I know cringe at the thought of taking their car to a mechanic and getting ripped off especially with A/C problems which can be costly.I went here based on web reviews and was not disappointed. Chris, the service manager, was friendly and explained everything. They examined my car and explained recommendations. Charges were reasonable and service prompt. They have a waiting room with wi-fi. I highly recommend them for auto maintenance and repairs knowing you wont get ripped off.

We chose this automotive shop based on the reviews and were horribly disappointed in the value of their service. The part cost $100 and we were charged 7 times the amount for a fix that takes less than an hour. In addition, they missed a pretty critical tear in the CV boot (something we were able to replace after the fact). This is a fix we could have done ourselves, yet we were in the middle of a cross country move and did not have access to our tools. We called a dealership after the fact and they would have fixed the same problem for half the cost. If you have the time, do your homework and shop around. Do NOT rely on these reviews.
