A pleasing mix of new, used, and collectable books. Absolutely worth your time! Specializes in well curated current non fiction and local authors, especially mysteries, but rich with a little of everything like the best used shops!

Great customer service! They go out of their way to find what you want, and have great suggestions for browsers. Also host local authors for book talks and signings. Definitely worth stopping by!

Friendly greeting from bookseller at the front counter. Good light for browsing among shelves of titles I had a hard time passing up. (At our age we’re disbursing books more than acquiring.).Have heard some fine readings from various writers.Glad Organic Books seems to be thriving.

Beautiful little shop with an amazing selection of books, and really friendly staff. There is a really wide range of sections, from fantasy, to politics, to science, to children’s, etc., and you can tell everything was thoughtfully curated. Every time I’ve gone in I’ve come out with something fascinating and unexpected for a ridiculously good price! So excited to have this place in Nob Hill.

Great little local book store. No big chains, great selection, comfortable surroundings. Staff was super helpful and friendly to my kids that were selecting books for themselves.

I love this bookstore! I won’t lie.....I’m very biased because I’m so close to home but it’s one of very few bookstores to have a deviated linguistics/language section.They may sell used books but they must curate what they have because their inventory seems largely cerebral and wide ranged. I’ve definitely gone WAY over my book budget several times here.The activities seem really worth the effort they put in!Go soon!No Pokéstops.
