Travis was our sales man and he was great! Thank you again Travis. We purchased our car on Saturday 5/22/21. Paperwork was smooth and everyone was helpful. We noticed on Sunday the car has an intermittent hesitation when hitting 20 - 25 miles an hour. I immediately notified Travis of the issue and he suggested I bring the car in on Tuesday. My husband and I researched potential issues with the car and found there was a recall similar to the issues we were having requiring a torque converter replacement and software update. So we scheduled an appointment with Toyota to review for any recalls. Toyota got us in on Tuesday morning and reported back that the issue is with the torque converter and the transmission will need to be replaced, no open recalls for our car. We went immediately back to Zia to let them know what we were told and to see what their thoughts were on the issue we were experiencing. It was suggested it was the way we drive and suggested to try and drive faster as the car might be used to the previous owner. It was also suggested that the transmission be serviced. However according to the documents received from Zia Auto the transmission was already serviced upon inspection. At this point the car is with Zia Auto and has been since yesterday. We are waiting for an update. I am a little nervous as to how this is all going to play out and plan to update this review once it’s all said and done. Stay tuned...my 3 star rating is only 3 starts because of where we are in the process but want to add customer service was great and so far everyone had been super helpful.Update:Everything went great car was fixed within a week and has been running great ever since! Thanks a bunch for everything!

So, we started our shopping journey here today and after searching all day...ended right back here for the best deal in town! As promised too! The staff were friendly, not pushy at all, and fast with processing our paperwork when we finally committed. In and out in under an hour! I love my Jeep! Thank you Armando and Ina!

We found a great car at a great price. The owner and staff were great to work with from start to finish. Once we picked the car, we completed the credit application online and were in and out, keys in hand in less than 30 minutes. No stress, no pressure, just the car we wanted at a fair price.

Armando greeted my husband with casual demeanor, no rush. Took a F150 for a test drive and had the answer for ever question my husband had. We bought the truck. Great customer service and friendly and quick to get things done. Loved the experience!

Had major issues with this dealership. Bought a vehicle and I was driving it back home not even 100 miles later the check engine light came on. I guess they don’t view their vehicles before they sell them. And if they do they obviously don’t care what you get. I was a first time car buyer and they definitely seen that. Good luck if you buy a vehicle from them.

Very unhappy. We were treated poorly by the owner. I had already looked at a car earlier today and the salesman offered a test drive. I suggested we wait until my husband got done with work. My husband and I went back just a few hours later to take a closer look and test drive the car. The owner of Zia Autos said we would have to buy it before we could drive it! We have great credit & cash.. we are professional people who carry ourselves as such. We expressed serious interest in the vehicle and clearly have the ability to buy at any price we want. I am appalled at the way we were treated.Zia Autos just lost out.

Was in the market for a new used car due to some unfortunate circumstances. The process has been stressful and a bit frustrating. When my family and I happened to come across Zia Auto my initial thoughts were misleading. However, we were greeted with very welcoming staff and the best part they weren’t pushy. The inventory on the lot is of a very high quality and very comparable or better than major dealerships. Upon finding the vehicle that suited my family’s needs and then some. We started the ever dreadful process of paperwork to purchase a vehicle. The entire team came together and made the purchase extremely quick and very comfortable. Taking note of younger children that I had and also tended to them very well. I had one of the best experiences of purchasing a vehicle with Zia Auto. If I could give zero I would bought a vehicle literally a few hours ago went to drive home check engine light started flashing and tpms light came on pulled off to check the tires and make sure everything’s okay and car stalls and is not turning on now

The definition of a used car dealer.While I was test driving, they asked me to unlock my car so they could scan my vin, then proceeded to ask for the keys. When I come back from the test drive, my car was no where to be seen. Moments later my car arrives with the manager. If I could give them zero stars I would.

We are returning customers to Zia last year we bought a Nissan Leaf EV with them they did such a good job we decided to return this year to replace our 2012 Ford Taurus and just like the first time Ina and the Zia Team went above and beyond to take care of us now with Covid safe shopping we shopped the Zia website and found a very nice 2016 Hyundai Tucson Limited Ina set up appointment for us to test drive the car and take delivery of it if we chose to buy it on the day of our appointment Ina called us and asked if we could come later in the day because Zia wanted to buy us new tires because they were not happy with the ones the car had we were more then happy to go later in the afternoon when we got to the dealership the car was waiting for our test drive it was clean and sanitized with the A/C going Ina went above and beyond once again to get us the best deal and the best financing available and just like last time the cars they sell go though a thorough inspection and they fix any issues that are found and even after taking delivery of the vehicle when we found a couple of issues that were missed and called them about it they were more then happy to schedule an appointment to have them fixed free of cost at their NAPA certified repair shop it is clear why they have been in business for more then 30 years we like that they treat everyone like family we will continue to return to Zia for all future car purchases and we are more then happy to send friends and family over to Zia

Lisa greeted us immediately. We looked at a few cars, test drove a BMW diesel. Lisa talks to much. Could barely ask any questions. Owner was going to bring my hubby a NAPA hat, went inside, never saw him again. Literally could not get off the lot fast enough!

Very disappointed in the quality of customer service provided here & it’s sad because had it not been for their rude customer service and “we are better than everyone” attitude, I would have made a purchase. I went in to see a vehicle they were asking 11,900 for- car had visible cosmetic damages on the front and back. I offered $9,500 and told them that was my approval letter price. Travis who I thought was the “salesman” was working with me. I asked him if they could get me a second key and headset for DVD player, his response to me was, “that’s inconvenient for us, but we can get you connected to someone.” I thanked him and left and felt uncomfortable with that response. I called back and spoke to the main manager who protected that behavior and went on his spill about being the best in the city with their inspections and blah blah blah and then he preceded to tell me, “you must not have made offers on cars in a long time cause no one does offers anymore.” I said, “oh really, because I just finished working with hard rock auto on an offer and they worked with me by going down $2,000 on a car and unfortunately it didn’t work due to gas mileage.” He then proceeded to say how hard rock does not do the inspections like them and if I had offered a few hundred lower than their asking price, they might have worked with me. I apologized several times for offending them with my offer and he continued to be rude and tell me I didn’t know anything about how vehicles are selling today and then proceeded to ask if I was an expert in this... I proceeded to tell this manager to F off and keep his car. Reliability of a vehicle is important, but it is just as important as making your customers feel welcome. This place has 0% customer service!

Went to see a specific vehicle posted online today and when we arrived, we were told it sold yesterday. We spotted another vehicle we wanted to check out, but it was a new acquisition and they wouldnt allow is to see it. It was disappointing.

Zia Auto was awesome. Ina in particular made the buying process super easy and fast. She coordinated everything for me by phone and all I had to do was test drive the vehicle I wanted and sign the paperwork. Lisa was very helpful too, she took me through all the features my car came with as well as took the time to sync my phone to my new bluetooth system. This was by far, the nicest car dealership we visited. Alondra was amazing. She knew so much about all the vehicles and was so nice and helpful. Travis was great and took a lot of time trying to get us the right deal and the right truck for what we needed. We even got to meet the owner, James. He is so down to earth and and even worked out some extras on our truck to accommodate us. Everyone is very relaxed and not at all pushy at Zia Auto. So I bought a little truck from these guys it didnt have a spare tire. in our agreement they were supposed to order me one. its been 2 months, still no spare. and now the truck is broke down wont start and has a power steering leak. so have whatever your thinking of purchasing checked out by a mechanic. and make sure it has everything its saposed to have.

WOW! What a positive experience buying a vehicle. The whole crew, from the owner to the finance manager to our sales person were professional, supportive and knowledgeable. I love that Zia has two options to assist people with their purchase - if you dont have the credit, you can get approved based on your income. Love that flexibility, as it allows me to rebuild my credit. There was a slight glitch with a sensor and tires BUT Zia (James the owner) took care of me - at no extra out of pocket cost to me. You simply cannot compare Zia to other smaller sized car lots in town. These guys are organized, professional and extremely easy to work with. Alondra contacted me an hour after I submitted my online application and had set expectations on what they needed from me and the process going forward. Went in to buy a 2006 4 Runner, left in a 2013 4 Runner. Cant say enough about Travis. I know we drove him crazy with what we wanted and what our terms were, but he went ABOVE and BEYOND to make that happen. From start to finish, he was truly amazing, really nice guy too. Would definitely recommend this place. Lots of great vehicles on the lot. Definitely ask for Travis when you go there. I promise you wont be disappointed. There are so many dealerships and salesman in this city that truly SUCK, not Travis, And not Zia Auto.

INA is very friendly ready to help and works with you. They have a really nice selection of cars. Everyone is very nice and polite never rush or try to push you into buying. But they cars do sell fast so if you like it you better get it or it might be gone tomorrow.

I went to Zia Motors for my sons first car. Our salesman was very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. We never felt pressured to make a purchase. After driving two vehicles we bought a car my son loves. Great salesperson and it didnt take all darn day!

They were professional and courteous. I didnt feel pressured to make a decision on the truck I was looking at. They had the Carfax readily available to look at and it was online for free as well. They also have an 18 page review for you to review of the detailed check they do at their Napa certified auto mechanic shop next door. I was having a little difficulty getting my insurance set up because of some logistics but Ina was nice enough to give me the rest of the day to get it in. I was so close to the wire that I was about to hyperventilate but Ina stayed late to make sure it was entered in. They have been in the business for a long time and it shows!

My car-buying experience with Zia Auto Wholesale went about as smoothly as it could. I did not finance through them, so cannot speak to their efficiency in that area, but the purchase transaction was handled quickly and efficiently. The staff (Davin, Tim, and Erik) whom I dealt with were all courteous and professional, and there was no sales pressure. The car had been taken good care of through their own garage and had been detailed beautifully, so not only did it run smoothly, it was extremely clean. I will highly recommend Zia in the future!

This was our second time purchasing a vehicle from Zia auto. First time was not great, nor was the second. They do sell nice vehicles however the staff lacks any sense of urgency. My jeep had a leak in the moon roof. I had called and spoke with the mechanic dept whom forgot about my request to check this issue 2 different times. The first time I got it back, it was still leaking, the second time they finally fixed it after numerous calls to ensure it was corrected. The employee Alex seemed to consistently forget what needed to be completed on my car. He stated someone would call me back over and over but I did not receive any follow up. We put down a pretty large down payment and expected follow up on a regular basis. When we did get it back, the sun roofs lining surrounding it was full of oil, dirty and stained. To be honest, this was just one of the issues we had. I would not recommend this place to family or friends.

It was an awesome experience. They answered all of my questions, give detailed breakdowns on costs and financing. The carfax and inspection reports are extremely thorough. Hannah was exceptionally pleasant and helpful throughout the process.

Ive taken a couple of my cars here and have always had a great experience - most recently, we got some bad news that a mystery issue with our vehicle had been diagnosed as a bad head gasket, and was going to cost us over $3k, which we just cant spare for a vehicle thats definitely not worth that much. Zias got our back though and called us before doing the work, and ended up kindly waiving the diagnostic fee, totally understanding our situation. Crummy as it is that our Jeeps seeing the end of its days, I still came away from Zia feeling positive overall. Thanks especially to Sean for putting up with our many calls this morning, you guys are deeply appreciated!

My high school graduate-daughter and I had been looking for her first vehicle and had a price limit - other dealers were showing us junk for our price point - I thought I would try Zia Auto cause I had seen their commercials. I drove into their lot - right away I was greeted by a very down to earth salesman named John Jimenez. I immediately told him my price limit and he showed me a few nice vehicles in our price range. The first vehicle was super clean, drove excellent, and had a new car feel for a used car. I fell in love with the vehicle, but I didnt have my daughter with me. John offered to drive the car to my house to show my 18 year old. She was shocked that a sales rep would bring a car to her. She fell in love with car as soon as she came outside to see it!!! The rest is history -I made an offer and they accepted! We love our new car and it was great dealing with a nice sales rep and the professional staff at Zia Auto.

Purchasing my vehicle from Zia Auto was the best car buying experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked onto the lot I felt valued as a customer and my salesman, Eric Madrid was the best salesman Ive ever worked with. He made us feel welcome. The car that initially lead me to Zia had been sold the day before, Eric suggested another car and to be honest I was doubtful at first. He really did sale me this car and he did so without being pushy, aggressive, dishonest and rude. I honestly felt like we had been friends for years. This down to earth, courteous, friendly, personable and overall excellent customer service is rare. Before I made the decision to visit Zia I had done my homework about the vehicle and the dealership. Zia had minimal complaints over the many years in business, unlike some other dealerships I researched which I chose not to even visit. The car I bought was actually the first car I saw. I drove it, Eric explained the features and answered my questions, for questions he did not know the answer to he was honest and said so but he also took the time to find the answer. I had my reservations about the car and expressed that to him, he took it in stride but his attitude towards me never wavered. I went home did more research and decided to return to drive the car again. I loved it and bought it. If you truly want to be treated like a valued customer and appreciated and are in the market for a car Zia should be your very first stop. Rafael was my finance contact, he was friendly and outgoing and professional. He explained everything and was patient as I asked questions. I decided to purchase the power train warranty from Zia as opposed to my own lien-holder because it was a much better value. Eric explained that Zia wants to make the car buying experience excellent because they rely on repeat business and I have to admit I will send everyone I know in the market for a car to Zia. I also like the fact that I can take my vehicle to them for routine maintenance and to be serviced. I was treated better by the pretty eyed service guy at Zia than when I went to BMW to purchase an extra key. I purchased two vehicles earlier this year (2016) from Zia Auto and have had both vehicles serviced (oil changes) there as well. Tim Ruiz, general manager, goes above and beyond to work a deal you cant turn down with the best banks, in town. I have worked with several finance managers and Tim does impressive work compared to top dealerships in Phoenix. Eric, finance manager, will give you every detail you need to know about your payments, rates, and gap insurance info. Hes very thorough and shows pride in what he does.They all do. The detail team also goes out of there way to make sure your car looks great!Thank you Zia Auto!! My experience with Zia Motors was outstanding, particularly as a potential out of state buyer. I found them to be knowledgeable, forthright and responsive. My salesperson, Diana, was particularly great with communication and the Sales Manager, Tim, was equally great in providing information. Purchasing a car can be extremely personal and time consuming, but the folks at Zia made it pleasant and had me at ease throughout the entire process. There wasn’t a high pressure pitch, and they gave me the sense that they supported whatever decision I made. Thank you, Zia Motors!

Olga was really helpful and not your typical “pushy salesman”. She was informative and treated me like I was a close friend. Zia car sales put me in a car with payments I can actually afford and gave me a decent trade in value despite my car having considerable body damage. I have to say that this was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. In my life I have bought 2 new cars. The probably 15 other I have owned have all been used. No one has come close to the level of attentiveness, professionalism and genuine care. I hope I don’t need another car in the new future but I would come back to these guys if I did.

I enjoyed the purchasing experience. Don Baca was a really nice guy. Two months later, in and out of the shop, not so much. I will choose not to return. Thanks James for giving me a call and talking to me as if Im a complete idiot. My lemon purchase was my own fault and I cannot blame Zia Auto for being a used car dealership. If James calls you, youll hear all about being an officer for the Used Car Association, awards, certifications, and overall boastfulness. Hell even offer to look at the vehicle for free, just like any other shop who wants to charge you for the repair does. Im still wondering why they charged me for a new license plate when I already had a permanent disabled veteran plate. No refund from the state, no refund from the dealership. Guess thats how it works.

Despite what all the negative reviews said I’m basing my review on customer service and attentiveness. With that said Zia Auto was really on top of their A game. James was a pleasure to work with, and Armando was very helpful and even if he didn’t know the answer he went to go look for it, so I have to give him a A+ because he didn’t try to BS me. I had a little issue with the cars lights, but was rectified with in 24 hours with James, and he lent me a loaner to get back to work, I will write another review on the Auto side of the business.

Bought a Mercedes around 6 months ago, very helpful. The car had an issue a day after I bought the car and their repair shop was very helpful, didnt fix the issue ( just a warning light) but replaced the part multiple times, was in and out the shop around 6 times but they covered the cost. I dont blame them, but i do recommend to test drive the cars a couple times and to look it over carefully (The fuel door was taped on). The warning light is something ill have to live with and its fine, dont impact the car and how it functions, but welcome to the Mercedes family I guess

We found the perfect vehicle for our needs; low miles, super clean and in excellent condition. Zia auto even replaced the tires and changed the oil before we took it home. Alondra and Ina went above and beyond working with us and our specific timeline. The paperwork process was quick and painless. The entire team at Zia was friendly and helpful. Definitely would buy a vehicle from them again. Extra special shootout to Ina and Alondra for being super friendly and easy to work with. 5 out of 5 for sure!!!

Horrible customer service. Made a reasonable cash offer on a overpriced vehicle they had in their inventory. Rafael did not check if they would take the offer. His suggestion was come up with a down payment and save my money. his sales pitch started with lets not waste mine or your time.

My husband and I found a great quality third row SUV here for a good price. Probably one of the easiest car buying experiences weve had. Our salesman, Travis, was very personable and transparent and didnt try to hustle us or pressure us into anything. This was one of the first times we left a dealership without feeling icky. We will definitely be returning for our next vehicle.

These people are dishonest, overpriced, and overall ethically questionable.It turns out the vehicle we purchased from Zia Auto had been involved in an accident and they failed to inform us of this, even after specifically asking this question.They snuck in an unwanted warranty into our final purchase price and claimed it would be too much work to take out at this point.They promised a free oil change if we left a positive online review. (I wonder if this is the only reason they have positive reviews here). They failed to explain the fine print of this deal, and did not deliver on the promise when we went to claim the offer. This turned into a condescending lecture on the importance of getting oil changes.There was a chip in our windshield when we purchased our vehicle. We asked if they could fill it in before we bought it, and they claimed they had already filled it in. Later the chip turned into a crack, and we had to have it sealed.We decided to give Petes Garage, Zias affiliated repair shop, a shot with a repair we needed. They wanted to weld broken pieces for more than double what it cost us to replace the broken parts!Bottom line, I will never return to Zia Auto, and I certainly DO NOT recommend them to ANYONE!

So far everything has been great, very nice,. great while signing papers got the kids cartoons to watch. Very nice people. Had to go back due to the SUV I bought had wheel locks on it and the previous owners didnt leave the key with the unit. They took care of all of it for me. Alex was very helpful and had all the paper work set up and ready for me to sign as soon as I got off work. I was in and out, that has never happened at another dealer.

I took my car in as part of my Caremax and A lot had to be done to my vehicle, but Sean with Zia always kept in touch with me and let me know what was going on and made sure if I needed a rental car he would help me in any way! I appreciate his great customer service and quality work that was done!
