Quick and efficient. Good coffee.
Awesome little joint and the coffee is on point. Only disappointment is the hours that were cut back!! Would love to hang out here in the evening!...
This is a UNM staple as it is locally owned and operated with easy walking access being right across from the university. The staff here is always friendly and the coffee is always great. Should you want to do some people watchiing and most likely have some unusual interactions, I recommend the patio seating area. This spot is located right along central and the combo of college students and street folks always makes for some interesting site seeing. On a chilly day the indoor seating is also great and there is lots of tables and nooks for folks to sit and spend some time drinking warm pick me ups.
Love having this great spot nearby. Have only sampled a few different coffee options but they have all been very tasty! All of the food items look great. Looking forward to trying out more of the menu soon!
Hard to get to parking.. that said after 3 turnabouts a great cup o coffee and a great sandwich.
Love this place! The food and drinks are fantastic, and the staff are the best. Definitely recommend Satellite for everyone in and around Albuquerque.
The Satellite Coffee shop (on Central), IS WAY MORE THAN A COFFEE SPOT....this shop has come to be for me a comfort, as if visiting a life long friends home again. They greet me by name every time I walk in, no matter how many times a day I may come in with my indecisiveness, or how busy, Rain (Manager) and the crew (Mel, Aly, Doug, Caleb, and few others whose names escape me right now) have always made the drink I needed for the day, even when I didnt know thats what I needed/wanted. On my worst days, they have picked me up, on my best days they have celebrated with me, and even on my mediocre days they have reminded me that it is great to be alive! I always leave with a tasty beverage/a sweet snack, or some other extravagant gift of deliciousness, along with a smile, a laugh and sense of caring they extend to meTHANK YOU ALL, at satellite coffee on central
Satellite coffee is better than the national and international chains because Satellite Coffee is local. They are connected with another local New Mexico institution called Flying Star and between the two, there s a good choice of locations for great, early morning coffee, hot chocolate, signature drinks and desserts. Service is a lot better than the international places because it is always friendly and high quality at Satellite Coffee and Flying Star. I would have given it 5 βββββ s if they were open by 7:00 and if there were a location in Albuquerque Uptown ( Hint hint)
The black velvet is so super charged. Im certain I could be wired for sound at this moment. Lovely environment, with super cool employees. Recommend trying this spot out If you love coffee, as much as I do.
Like a trip to another era. A mid-century modern jewel. Clean, pleasant service, good coffee. What more do you need?
Rise and shine sandwiches taste good! Only 1.4 for refills if you bring your own mugs.I ordered iced tea and they got it hot. I was totally fine and decided just go with that. The gentleman insisted to change and make it right (dumped my cup of hot one...oh I want to keep it...donβt waste:p).Every time the ladies greet warmly and provide sweet ordering service. Like the place and the people:D
Outdoor seating on Central and parking. Good coffee, freshly roasted. Sandwiches and cakes.
Great coffee and tea menu and atmosphere but food options were limited to sweets and carbs.
Solstice is one my favorite coffees so I had to grab a couple of bags before heading back to MI!
Great service. Great atmosphere.
Nice patio to people watch. Good coffee and food.
The man that helped us was friendly, helpful. We enjoyed our Mexican latte, and lemonade.
Hey, did you know that if you down one of Satellites Black Velvets before you have anything to eat for the day, you can feel energy condense to a slow enough frequency of vibration that you, a mere mortal, can perceive the bonds that link us all as a singular entity experiencing itself through countless lives simultaneously?*Five stars for giving me the brief ability to see through time and an unrelated panic attack.* - This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Amazing coffee shop...from the really nice staff to the ambiance inside and out
Love the customer service and the drinks taste amazing at this location.
This coffee house is my third coffee company to sit down at .In the last 30 years that gave me comfort and location to creat my poetic writings, about Albuquerque.
What is not to absolutely love about a small self roasted coffee Cafe.
Clean, great local coffee.
Omg, the mexican chocolate latte was mind-blowing.And again when getting it decaf. It was so good, had to go back even though there are plenty of other independent coffee shops. Couldnβt miss it.Friendly staff, fireplaces inside, fun modern decor. They ground our beans for us per request.
So excited to find a ginger turmeric latte!
I like it here always quality food & service. This place has a cool atmosphere. Food and atmosphere reminds me of Kansas City.
Nice flavor for those who like light bruise
Great atmosphere and a great coffee
I loved the ambience. I stopped by to get some work done. Enjoyed their cold brew with chill coffeehouse music on the background.
Carmel dulceπ€ need i say moreπ. This place is AMAZING. Perfect for the student or the professor.
If I could give it a million stars I would! Satellite Coffee was suggested by a good friend of mine. Did not fail me one bit. I think its a great getaway for the locals and for the students. Nice environment with a lovely crew working. Always a drink for you. This place is just amazing.
Yummy coffee! Staff very professional & I was so happy to see the patio open with plenty of social distancing space and masks. Fresh coffee, espressos and tasty goodies available that dont taste dry like a certain other overpriced coffee place.
Lovely establishment and lovely staff. Theyre always very kind and always laughing with one another. Very positive establishment. I just moved to Albuquerque and it provides me a wonderful spot to complete job applications.
Chic inviting atmosphere. Spacious patio was packed with regulars. Friendly efficient baristas. Coffee was unremarkable
The best coffee shop ever!
Great espresso, coffee, and tea! I love that they use Organic Rishi tea to make their London fogs! Best place to get a dry cappuccino. This location is my favorite because the staff are awesome.
Best coffee ever! Friendly atmosphere!
Great service and coffee was tasty
Great indoor atmosphere/architectural design at the Harvard location.
Always good service and fare.
Super awesome people! Gave me great recommendations, as Im from Houston and had never been. So I appreciate the coffee and conversation, even gave me some tips on places to go. Much appreciated
Tired of Starbucks? Looking for something with a local flair. Great atmosphere. Free WiFi. Give it a go!
Very nice place for being located on central. Usually people out front smoking or doing weird stuff. Great place though to get coffee or a desert and study or have a meeting.
Great spot with friendly staff, comfortable seats, and string Wi-Fi. The mocha an fuego is one of the best drinks I have ever tried. The earthy, spicy, sweet mix is perfect.
I love this coffee shop! One of the few places I can get a decent dry cappuccino. The ambiance is great, a lot if students come to study or meet up. You can buy coffee beans in bulk and they have a wonderful selection of coffee beans and food.I just wish they offered croissants and maybe a fruit/berry bagel.
A local hot spot of a hub of prolific activity of intellectual gathering. Also great staff and beverages.
Awesome coffee. Get the dark roast if you like strong flavor. The medium roast is good, but a little light on taste. Very chill atmosphere.
Im sorry, I pressed 1star by mistake! It is pretty nice place to go! I always enjoy your coffee. And I like the ambiance. Keep up the good work!
Nice place...got the university feel with friendly staff. Good coffee and teas. Little high in price but not too high. Try the Mexican latte.
Great coffee and ambiance
Nice atmosphere and people. Internet good. Drinks superior to Starbucks and more varied.
First time there today, everyone was polite and they took great care of me. Highly recommend.
Central locationCool ambiance. The young man who took our order was a conversationalist; an increasingly rare trait. We had the chia and mocha en fuego Both were very good. Would recommend.
I went to Satellite Coffee twice during my stay in Albuquerque. Very cozy place to grab a coffee and chill out! The staff is very friendly as well. I took off one star because my first visit I got a blended drink and it was extremely sweet so it wasnt my favorite. I also ordered a blueberry muffin and it was quite dry. The second visit I got a latte and it was perfect. Overall nice atmosphere and place to grab coffee or chill on a laptop and work. Would recommend for sure, and if I go again next time I will try more items on the menu and hopefully give all 5 stars!
Sometimes busy and strange folks but great place to get a bite to eat and some coffee or tea! I highly suggest this location
Nice little coffee shop. I always try to support local coffee and this place has consistent service/quality. It can get a little packed as its across the street from the college so plan accordingly.
Always great. When traveling through ABQ it is our must stop for great coffee and pastries
Very nice environment, very nice staff, very nice location. Excellent place to study/blind date/eat/relax.
Bonus: theyβve been offering ceramic mugs as the standard cup instead of automatically pouring everything into a non-recyclable/ compostable single use cup! Hooray for sustainability!!! I love coming here to meet people or to get some work done. There are tons of seating and outlet options and the baristas I have met are all pretty nice.
Cool little coffee shop that feels cozy. Nice music and a good selection of handcrafted coffee. Close to UNM so lots of students in here. Really cool interior with stone in the wall and a nice fire pit area. Ill be back to try some other coffees.
Their chai latte is the best in town!
A classic albuquerque coffee shop for students and readers. Neat, eclectic vibe. Good coffee.
A pleasant surprise. I was dreading another StarSucks type experience, but its not like that. Mostly student customers, but theres some diversity beyond them. The staff are friendly, coffee is usually delicious, and the Mexican wedding cookies, scones and muffins are very good. If you go for the sandwiches, expect to pay a lot.
Great coffee, nice staff, and I love the atmosphere of this place. They have some types of coffee you cant find at Starbucks too, like the Mexican Latte and the Turkish latte. Always enjoy coming here when Im in the neighborhood, and Im happy to support a local coffeehouse too!
Satellites blondies are the best coffeehouse dessert ever. The iced Java tastes just like mocha ice cream and the black velvets are basically THE way to get your caffeine. But if youre looking for plain coffee drinks like black coffee, Starbucks is better.
They are so friendly and accommodating. The coffee is really good!
Great cold brew and specialty drinks. Friendly staff and inviting atmosphere.
Very nice place to sip on some coffee and study or read near a fireplace
Satellite has great ysting coffee and blue berry scones. The service is hood too. The WiFi here is speedy too. Its a really cozy coffee shop with comfty chairs and more.
My first time going was great! Super hip and friendly environment.
The baristas are very friendly and there are minimal homeless people outside on the patio. They get my drink right and with a smile. Its a great place to study and to go on dates. The pickup scene be pretty tight too
The coffee is quite good, and the interior is among the most comfortable around. In particular the people-watching is fantastic from the miniature red leather couches near the counter. Ive also determined that those tiny red leather couches are _perfect_. So perfect that last time I was here I measured them so that I can try to build my own couch at home with the exact same dimensions. The food is a little pricey, but the graburritos are really excellent.
I try to stop by here every time I go to Albuquerque. Love the people, love the environment, and love the coffee. One of my favorite coffee places in New Mexico.
The mocha java is fairly amazing.
Nice atmosphere but always crowded. Nice staff. Some drinks good (blended seasonal drinks), some not so good (like the chai, which mostly tastes like milk). As with all these coffee shops, could be less $. But its local!
This place has one of my favorite tables. And the coffee good too.
I come to this location almost every day and order my same Black Velvet with a caramel liner, while my wife always tries new items on the menu. No matter the drink, i have always found them all to be more delicious than the last as I always try my wifes orders. For the nearly two years that i have been stationed here in ABQ Ive found that the food and drinks have always been consistently delectable, the prices to be exceptionally fair, and the staff to be incredibly kind, professional, and prompt in getting orders out to those in need of the caffeine. Contrary to the negative comment below, I have never witnessed any kind of unfair or unprofessional behavior from any member of the Satellite team in the numerous times I have been in the shop throughout these almost two years no matter the time or day. As a consistent customer, I can not express how much I love this place as I have never been to a coffee shop as amazing as Satellite coffee. Ive come nearly every single day with my wife for as long as i have been in New Mexico, and will continue to do so until Im sent to another duty location.
Very clean and cool place to hangout. Customer service was great aswell. Will most definitely go back and chill.
OUTSTANDING! I heard the girl working the counter called a rookie ... No, shes a pro-bowl selection. I came in very early (6:20ish) needing caffeine and not very coherent as a 1st time customer who did not know the company and she converted me into a regular! Sorry Starbucks.
Excellent, quick, easy going, free refills on the brew of the day. wonderful atmosphere. enjoyable.
Top for espresso, great looking place and people. Best atmosphere in town, sleepy, comfy chairs, outside facing bar for when you want to stare aimlessly into the mist of college students and traffic passing by. Cheap too.
Staff was friendly and made great coffee.. The staff being friendly isnt even a personal requirement if the coffee is good but they were notably sweet and made sure we were happy with our order.
Super chill, semi modern, semi rustic vibe. Great local coffee and brews. Helpful, friendly baristas. Great people watching spot! :D
I donβt actually drink coffee anymore, but the ice tea here is perfect, and their Turkey Pepperjack sandwich is the ultimate comfort food. The patio is very nice as well.Last but not least, the service here is excellent.
Nice place for small meetings. If you cant have caffeine they also have herbal tea.
Get the Black Velvet if you go here.
Yummy!
Hands down the best coffee in town! Satellite coffee has great customer service and atmosphere.
I like this place better than Starbucks usually, although their prices could be a tad cheaper. I understand the local tax but 3.50-4 bucks for a iced coffee??? Brownies and other pastries are excellent.
Comfortable, friendly. Cozy feel to the place. Good coffee. I did not try the food
They have a very good coffee if you like strong coffee!!! Very recommend the capucino
Great coffee. Always crowded but definitely a great place to study. The employees have always given good customer services definitely better then Starbucks.
