I love the expansive selection of groceries, but most things are extensively over-priced. Nevertheless, they treat their employees well and offer many high quality products. Some things can be acquired for a more reasonable price than other competitors. Also, their in-house pizzaria is amazing quality and value over most pizza chains. While there is better and healthier pizza put there, I think that whole foods pizzaria has the best quality pizza for the lowest price.

Usually extremely busy at any time of day. Its a well lit and well organized parking lot, but very hectic to navigate through because its high traffic. Thats slightly a deterrent for me, but doesnt negate quality of location. The location is clean and well organized. The Staff is friendly and the foodstuffs are good as well. The bakery items are, hands-down, some of the best in the city.

This Whole Foods seems well run and quite clean. There is a larger variety of foods than many grocery stores around in ABQ. They are still on the expensive side of grocery stores even though they have been bought by Amazon, but who doesnt know that by now? Their veggies and fruits are yummy an dc fresh, they have a large variety of meats, fish and dairy; many from local places. They also have a vast array of in house products as well with the large food bars, bakery, sushi bar, sandwich shop, smoothie station, etc. I really like this Whole Foods and shop here often!

I have loved whole foods since it was first opened in Austin I like how they company carried out the layout and everything here. The only sad part is there arent 15 different restaurants 5 to 10 different bars within whole foods these here are the size of they are super small. I have to go to corporate office in Austin when I visit because its completely different from the ones here due to size. Plus they have a lot more selection out there but than again its due to size. However its a wonderful place to shop, and I love how everything is made fresh unlike Smiths or Albertsons. On this last note if anyone goes to Austin I suggest going to the one in downtown office (corporate) and visit absolutely amazing!

Weve enjoy shopping here. We used to purchase and enjoy their selection and quality of seafood and so many other items. Weve been especially pleased with the wide range of plant based products and non dairy cheese, milk. We used to make weekly purchases if the fresh made shrimp scampi and fresh made ceviche but 3 weeks ago when we took it home for lunch it smelled horrible and was definitely spoiled. The past few weeks we havent purchased seafood due to these experiences and a super unpleasant smell around the seafood area. Previously the raw oysters have been amazing!

Everything I’ve ever bought here has been stale, if not on the verge of expiring, whether it was from the salad bar, bakery, or even packaged on the shelf. I keep giving this place more chances because it’s so nearby, but this slimy, rotten-smelling cottage cheese i just bought is the last straw for me. Maybe I’m extremely unlucky but I think it’s more likely management thinks nobody will notice the complete lack of freshness. Judging by the apparent popularity of the place, I guess they’re right.

Im not a super regular shopper here. Definitely a colder, more corporate feel than other places Im used to shopping. Maybe its the toll of the pandemic, but the workers definitely had a leave me the @!#% alone and let me do my work vibe going on today, with the exception of a very helpful person in the bakery. People stocking in the aisles were not keen to make way for shoppers and barely seemed to notice their existence. Once again, I dont necessarily hold it against them, as I suspect it has a lot to with corporate culture. Having worked in the corporate retail world, I have experience with how the culture created at the top flows into the workforce. Contrast this with a place like trader joes, where employees go out of their way to be helpful or friendly (for the most part). So I think its likely that the Amazon, build-your-empire-on-the-broken-backs-of-your-workers culture is in play here. That said, there are still a few items that are difficult to find elsewhere.

I really like the Academy location! The employees are super friendly. The store is always well kept and has more of a variety compared to their Louisiana location. However, during our checkout, “Dana” I’m guessing is a supervisor, decided to chime in when the cashier was ringing up our items. As we brought it to cashiers attention that we had more items underneath our basket she couldn’t see, Dana chose to be extremely condescending about the specifics of our items as if our deceitful intentions were focused on stealing. I left feeling Belittled and Attacked.

This was my first visit to the Whole Foods store on Wyoming. It was not altogether a positive experience. I asked a stocker if the store had Birdseye Chili, and she couldn’t have been any less helpful. She appeared to be annoyed with my question and told me she didn’t so. That was the extent of her help. The lines were long so I moved in the cue and waited ten minutes to check-out. When It was my turn at the register, the cashier popped out a sign saying the lane was closed and told me I would have to check out in another line. If he had announced this five minutes earlier, it wouldn’t have bothered me. A little consideration would have helped. I went to the back of another line and waited fifteen minutes. When I checked out, I had to pay twice because the cashier forgot to ring-up one yogurt. It was an honest mistake, but the two previous employees had already soured the experience for me. This is my first and last visit to the store on Wyoming.

Most products are simply overpriced. Ive comparison shopped between this Whole Foods and the Sprouts down the street, and the *exact same* certified organic food products are usually around 10% to 15% more on average at Whole Foods. Its like Whole Foods imposes an ambiance tax or something.Since Sprouts is so close to this Whole Foods, Ill usually go to Sprouts first, get everything I need, then, if necessary, go Whole Foods for the small handful of items that Sprouts doesnt carry. Ordered a Berry Chantilly cake as I have many times before. Not sure what was going on this ‘this time but something in this cake made 3 of my 4 family members sick. The cake was very sparse with berries as they were not fresh, had an overly ripe taste. The chantilly frosting was very hard. It didn’t taste the same as it normally has in the past. So I’m not sure if it was the frosting or the fruit that made us sick. We each had a thin slice and that was enough to get us sick.Update:::: This site sent me nowhere. It sent me to an online chat and in the middle of typing it timed out. Before this she said there really wasn’t anything she could do. I’m taking the cake back to the store. There’s not a label on this cake to tell me how old it is. Terrible- service
