Owners attitude is a hit and miss was totally OK to let it slide because the coffee was good. But our last experience with him Will be the last time not only do we have to deal with his morning rant and our coffee was horrible! Six coffees and nobody drink their coffee. I’m very for supporting small businesses but after dealing with the owner I would’ve rather spent my money at Starbucks and actually had coffee I can drink! We don’t even live in Albuquerque and we talked highly about your business, not anymore.

First and last time coming here. Just moved to the area and trying local fares. I came up to order and the guy was unengaging and had poor customer service. I felt he was off and after placing my order I asked him are you having a good morning?, he just closed the window.When he gave me my drink he said here you go and just closed the window! No thank you or nothing! I didnt even try my drink. Not returning.

Great coffee every single time, but also terrible service from the guy at the window. Seriously, every time I go, he seems like he is having the worst day ever. I keep coming back because the drinks are consistently delicious. You are buying coffee, not pleasantries.

Now Im not one to leave a terrible review but I do want to mention that when I did go there the first and LAST time the person at the window I believe its the owner was a little erratic and Im putting that very lightly, he scolded and screamed at me for ordering the wrong type of milk. Apparently I didnt read the menu thoroughly enough for him and it was frustrating. Now I am putting it lightly when I say I was scolded and screamed at we literally did not even get our coffee because he was screaming in my partners face when we got to the window. Now he may have been having a horrible day I dont know but I will never go there again ever and I would like to leave a warning for the people that do. If I could leave no stars I would. Literally the worst experience at any establishment Ive ever had in Albuquerque and Ive lived here for 35 years.

The other day I had my first and last experience with this place. Drove up to the drive-thru to order and when I ordered a drink that had Navajo tea I was condescendingly told bro I havent had Navajo Tea in over four years. First off its still on your menu four years later. Second off being condescended made me reply that its the first time Ive ever been here so I would have no way of knowing that. The guy at the window proceeds to tell me that it seems like my feelings are hurt and if my feelings are hurt then I can just go. I had no intention of doing that at first, thinking I would just change my order, but after being treated completely horribly from the get-go I decided actually that was the best idea. Then the Yahoo yells at me as I drive away.I asked my passenger if she felt like I had done something to deserve that because I kind of thought maybe something was wrong that the guy would go off so intensely from the moment I first ordered. She assured me that he was beyond out of line. 45 years in Albuquerque and this is one of the worst service experiences Ive ever had! I will never come back here again and recommend others do not either.

Local flavor thats worth the wait! The lines can be long, and the orders take a little longer to make, but its 100% worth it. Extremely high quality coffee packed full of flavor. These guys know what theyre doing.

I went there only once, years ago, and tried to order a plain coffee. The guy asked me why I even came and acted disgusted. After a few minutes, he gave me a small, plain coffee and charged me $7. I was shocked at the price, and I wish so badly that I had just left the coffee and not paid. I was younger then, and afraid of getting in trouble or something. Oh well.PS: If there was a no drips sign 7 years ago, I didnt see it. And I dont care either, because its reasonable to expect to be able to walk up to a coffee shop window (without even looking at the menu) and order a coffee without being met with hostility.

I’d give this place 10 stars if I could.Every time I travel to ABQ, It’s MANDATORY that I get a cup of this one-of-a-kind coffee…it’s an experience in itself.Don’t expect a million combinations but that’s the simplicity that makes this place good and not to mention the quality.Blunt Bros has an interesting and humble beginning - ask the barista sometime.All in all, the world would be a better place if it had more distinguished men, like the owner, and more places, like the one he operates.💚💚💚💚💚

My first experience was 2 years ago wanted to give this place and chance not gonna disagree on the rudeness I asked for something I dont remember what and the owner said that if i*(In an annoyed kind of rude voice) if you dont like what we have then go to Starbucks across the street I felt like what really I never been here before for 1 and 2 dont need to be rude and 3 I dont really care for Starbucks their over priced and over rated I wanted this place so I ordered anyway I can say the coffee is boastful and very flavorful I have been back a few times and customer service has got a bit better and yes the menu is limited but this owner makes his own menu and coffee concoctions. Dave is a strange dude who makes amazing coffee. Not to be a huge bummer, but if having a subservient college student making your coffee is more your speed (and you dont mind burned beans) there are plenty of Starbucks in ABQ. Ill take the coffee made by the guy living out his caffeine dreams

This is the only place I will get coffee from. Its not so sweet you feel like your teeth are coated in syrup. The coffee itself is smooth, rich, and and strong; not over burnt.

The walk up window is out of service right now. But Ive decided I like this guys humor and on board with the coffee, the drinks are great. But its work and its hard to be happy go lucky all the time so I understand being a little rude. But customer service aside the drinks are all unforgettably great, each one with a specific flavor and jolt of energy. Make sure you check hours and if you can order before you go.

Quick and friendly service. As a cannabis lover, I had a good laugh at the drink names. My go to is The Boss and its of so good.

They have a walk-up window, so I walked up to order. Guy walks over and says I need to go through the drive thru. Why have a walk-up window then? So I drove to the nearby Starbucks at Washington and Lomas and happily spent my money there.

I hadnt been here in a while. I had recently moved out of town. I used to come here a lot and I wanted to show a friend of mine the coffee before i left and I was really excited to see the owner again. He was always really nice. When I pulled up I was trying my best to let him know what we wanted and I hope I didnt sound rude. I had some trouble hearing him. He got a little upset as he was the only one there. I am sorry if I held up the line for a second. I just couldnt hear you very well as the cars behind me and mine are quite loud and you are very soft spoken most of the time. I still enjoyed the coffee. And ill stop by next time Im in town. Have a good one. ✌

I LOVE Blunt Bros. My favorite is The Boss. A medium sized Boss and I can talk your ear off non-stop for two hours! When my teenage daughter comes to visit, get first request is, Dad, we have to go to Blunt Bros tomorrow. Her favorite is the Master Macchiato. Right on.

Walked up to grab a coffee, the window slid open, an angry voice yells at me that theyre not accepting walk up customers, thanks. The window slams closed and the snarky thanks rings in my ears. I had my mask on and didnt see why they would turn me away and didnt get a chance to ask. Place might have great coffee but I wont bother to try again when I drive by. I dont appreciate being shouted at like that.Edit: just read some more reviews complaining of the same thing and the owners responses are pretty tone deaf and unapologetic, if not offensive. I wish life was so good to me that I could turn away customers, be rude, and unapologetic. 2020 been a rough year for most people. Try to show some compassion, which is the 420 way, Mr Blunt.

Do yourself a favor and dont go here. The angry man in the window went off on me before I could even say hello. I wish I could comment on the coffee quality, but I was unable to order, and wont ever attempt to order again. He also was not wearing a mask while talking to customers or making coffees.There are so many other Coffee Shops in Albuquerque with nice people and amazing coffee. Try Villa Myriam Coffee Roasters or Humble Coffee just up the street.

This place is trash, very limited menu and they don’t have half of it in stock. Shots of espresso and milk. Doesn’t look like the health inspector visits this place much. Also....even if you dont make it heavy ice...just say sure and make the latte.If dozens of people are saying that you have an attitude problem....maybe you do.Im in customer service and even if I feel irritated by the request my client never ever knows it. I like this spot because the coffee is hot and strong and the owner dude does not have a bubbly personality. If I wanted a teenager to ask me how my day was going with a fake smile, I’d go to Starbucks.

Honestly, just don’t go here. I pulled up to the window and asked for my drink then asked what kind of whole bean he had. I’m not exaggerating when I say he went on a 5 minute rant on how he was essentially the messiah of coffee roasting. At the end he said if you don’t like it just drive away, just go, just go, just go. Then he asked if I would like the coffee beans. I said I didn’t follow his rant and I would just like my coffee. After several minutes he appeared with it, he said it would be the best coffee I ever had and I left.Well it was terrible and ended up throwing it out. So I went to work without coffee to drink or some to make later in the day. I should’ve known better.

I’ve been coming to Blunt Bros almost religiously for about 4 years or longer. Time goes by fast. I used to go to Starbucks whenever I had a migraine. Once I had Dave’s coffee, I’ve been hooked. His coffee is delicious. I have traveled and tried many other coffee shops. His beans aren’t burned. They’re roasted to perfection. I can taste when he uses a different one. Each brew brings amazing taste for the season. Thank you for making my coffee almost every day. It is much appreciated.

Dude one of the rudest buisness owners Ive ever met. I live in the neighborhood and have been talking good about this place for a while. I just went there in my truck Wich is loud I placed my order and the man at the window couldnt hear me so he got upset and told me to leave Im assuming because my truck was too loud. After waiting in line for 25 minutes i ended up just having to leave because the guy spoke the truth and I couldnt hear it because I dont speak the truth. That is what he told me.

I wouldnt go here again if someone paid me too! We asked a simple question about one of the drinks and the guy went off, talking about equality etc. Etc. Wouldnt answer any questions and wouldnt even let us get a word in. Hes a very rude person and honestly Im not sure how hes stayed in business. Whatever you do avoid this place!

This is my fave place for coffee in the neighborhood. Genuinely delicious. The drive through or walk up service is very convenient. Worth every penny. You wont regret it.

Best mocha in town. This is the only coffee that doesnt upset my stomach. They are more expensive than almost everyone else but I would rather have them once a week then have anyone else every day of the week. I do wish they had other locations or a seating area. My niece loves their hot chocolate and will steal my mocha if I turn my back.

First thing this person said was “I hope it’s good, I was abused and used all my on hand cash buying 3 coffees.” This person is an elite socialite from California with plenty of money and was appalled that he was treated so badly. Again coffee was decent but nothing special enough to be verbally insulted for early in the morning. The coffee is fantastic. Dave is a nice guy and puts a lot of thought into making a great coffee. He roasts the organic fair trade beans and uses quality syrups and sauces in his drinks. If you are looking for a great coffee that is consistently top notch Blunt Bros is the spot.

The first visit had horrible service but gave it another try this morning but yet again another horrible visit with the same (owner or worker) guy. Its real simple if you hate your job or the people that give you service then dont be in this type of work. Customers ask questions and want info not to be snarked at for not knowing your un-updated drink menu. Just update your sign menu, simple again. I had real high hopes for this company mainly because its not franchised and Im all about supporting small businesses but Wow this guy! Smh

This is probably the best coffee I have ever had. I only go every few months when Im on that side of town but every time I do I remember why I love it. 4 shots of espresso and some local coffee can change anyones day into a positive.

Ive never been treated so badly for asking for a couple packets of sweetener. I asked for a couple sweetener packets as I was handed my coffee. He explains to me that hes not a mind reader and kept going on to deepen the condescension. I didnt realize it until I got the receipt in my email, but my one medium drink cost $8.50. it tasted okay (Ive had better dirty chais), it upset my stomach, and I still needed a nap 2 hours later. $8.50!!??
