Great selection of new & vintage Native American jewelry. Kathy was very welcoming, friendly and informative on their large selection of NA jewelry, artist information/ history and stones. I spent well over an hour hand-picking loose turquoise stones and materials for my jewelry making, I never felt rushed or pushed in any way. Large inventory of silver rounds, some bars and a good selection of gold bullion all at reasonable premiums. Some sales tactics as they make commissions but never felt pressured. Man (Adrian) I interacted with was nice and super helpful. 10/10 will be back.

I’m not a coin collector. However I was responsible for selling about 35 pounds of loose coins collected by my parents. Fortunately I found Lou Norris and Micah at Crown Jewel and Coin. They were both exceedingly patient with me going through the entire set, coin by coin, and explained in detail how they determined values and made their margins. They were consistent in their honesty. I checked the prices they were offering me on two separate coin databases and they were generally spot on. I came away with a great deal of respect for Lou in particular and felt like I received a very fair deal. From my perspective, high marks.

Simply Amazing!!! I have been to numerous jewelry stores and left disgusted after shady service and untruthful employees. I chose Crown Jewels and coin on a gamble and hit the jackpot. Place is a joke they have so many employees all of which think they know what they are talking about and are super unknowlegable. And they arent they assumed my coin was fake just cause God forbid I have a coin worth 10000 grand lol so it fake. Lets put it this way the owner of abq coins had told me after I mentioned to him how big of a rip off they were said that he gave a guy yesterday 3 grand for a coin and said that he had just came from crown and they offered him 500 bucks if you have jewelery to sell or coins dont go here I literally had a 2800 hundred dollar designer branclet that was gold and silver I had to basically fight wi th the lady to give me 180 bucks what they sold it for god knows maybe buying from them is better I wouldnt know but if its anything like how they buy stuff run

Go to Albuquerque coins. I wouldnt call this place a coin shop but a jewelry store that has coins. Most of the coin transactions require one employee to refer to another about pricing. Hopefully you can pick up something undervalued by the inexperienced staff. Also they didnt have any coin flips.

My wife lost diamonds from her engagement ring before Christmas. I was able to find a nice diamond at a much lower price than other places I checked in town. I did not expect to get the ring back before Christmas, but was pleasantly surprised to get the ring back early even though they were very busy for the holidays.

Their team made it all happen! My sweetheart was in hospital here after a difficult surgery. I brought in a stone and needed to find an appropriate setting. I had a gold coin I presented as trade. Kaye, the sales clerk, was very helpful and understanding. She went deep into the showcase and found an antique white gold ring that was perfect for my gal. Only one problem: I was only in town until the end of the week which didnt give the goldsmith enough lead time. Kaye was able to work this out, with the ring being done on Friday. Prosper, the young counter man, gift wrapped it nicely. I also walked out with a couple hundred bucks change from the gold coin trade. They could have easily kept that portion and called it labor. 09 June 2021Crown Jewels and Coin (in ABQ) is locked on! No wonder they’re busy all the time and have an overall 4.9-stars rating (out of 456 reviews). That’s a hair away from a perfect 5.0 review! If you’re OCD about your watch collection like I am, why bother talking your valuable collection anywhere else? I had to get some new batteries (x4) installed in my Casio Pathfinder and some links added to a Zodiac watch and Crown Jewels and Coin took care of me on the spot! I thought sure I’d be leaving my watches with them overnight, but no – they jumped on ‘em right away and 20-minutes later I walked out with two completely functional watches – thanks, Crown Jewels and Coin!Even though I’d already been taken care of by employee Tobias Ramos, it seemed that the rest of the employees at Crown Jewels and Coin made a point of asking me if I needed to be helped – now that’s grade A service! As far as coins go, DO NOT GO HERE FOR JUNK SILVER COINS.They charge way over market for worn and cleaned american silver, and their foreign silver is something they sell as 90% silver by weight. Doesnt matter if its 40% Eisenhower dollars to 80% canadian junk, theyve told me multiple times we dont really know about coins, so we can only sell it and price it as 90% bullion, which is total BS.If you want coins, go a few doors down to a legitimate coin shop.

I don’t even know where to start. I originally bought a set from this location when it was Krueger’s. I was looking to trade and or sell that set. Every and I mean every chain Jewelry store in town told me my diamond had been chipped! I was so upset and discouraged and believing it was true. One Saturday I thought I would call Crown and see what they could do for me since they took over this location. I first spoke with Michael and he was so sweet and kind all while I was having a melt down and in tears in the phone. He told me to come in. So I did reluctantly. He greeted me and was ever so kind. Then he brought Frank over to assist me better and let me tell you....Frank made me believe there are still good honest people out there. He addressed all my concerns, proved to me my diamond was not chipped and in very good condition. Needless to say a week later I walked out with the most amazingly beautiful ring! He did such a great job with the new setting and I only now have tears of joy when I look at what he did. I HIGHLY recommend them and all their employees. Exceptional from start to finish. When I first walked into Crown Jewels & Coin, my party and I was greeted by Tobias. I had seen a pretty necklace I was interested in but wanted to strike a deal, which would have been about $50 less than the total price with taxes. After Tobias had asked a manager, whom was loud and rude to him, she told him no and unfortunately he had to tell us no. Best jewelry experience I’ve had. Went in on a Saturday, just before closing time, and was looking to upgrade the stone in my wife’s ring. I was in completely casual clothes, not on purpose, just cause it was an unplanned drop in. The point of that is that most places like this would’ve just brushed me off since it was just before closing time. But not Crown Jewels. Toby treated me with 100% respect from the second he greeted me and before he knew what I was there for. He showed me a few stones and then brought the manager out (Kathy). She educated me on the different stone qualities as well as the different types of certificates. This way I could make an EDUCATED decision. Long story short, they’ve earned a life customer. The ring that was being upgraded was my mother’s (who passed when I was young) and she made sure that the staff put a rush on the work being done so we would get it back in not time at all. Their jewelry repairs are quick. My repair has lasted for a couple months now on a necklace I wear everyday. Last time I got it fixed at Coronado mall it broke right again in the same spot. I am very pleased with the service.

I recently moved to the area from out of state and one of my spare time activities is refining gold and other metals from e-waste. I tried going to several places around the area that purchase gold and found most of them trying to low-ball me with some pretty humorous reasons as to why they couldnt give me 80 percent even. I saw the ad for these guys which said that they had an analyzer so I took what I had to them. I was quickly greeted by Michael even though their store was super busy. He handled everything promptly and professionally was easy to work with and managed to (despite a minor technical setback and the volume of other business they had) have me out the door just about 30 min. On top of all that I got a fair price for the material I had with me. I will definitely be giving these guys my business exclusively.
