I would give this course a zero if I could. I have never encountered such pretentious snobs in my life before. My partner and I are fairly new to golfing and the workers here made sure to make us feel like we are not welcome here. We ended up not playing and getting a refund because they made this experience so awful. Do not come here if you just want to relax and play a casual game of golf.
Nice round of golf on a well-maintained course. Great practice facility. Staff is friendly and awesome. Great rate after 2pm.
Very nice practice area. Friendly and patient staff.
Beautiful and tough. Fastest greens this side of the Rio Grande. Bring your A game. Not a beginner course. Intermediate to advanced play.
Awesome course, but push back the last call time. We got recalled at 7:15 and the sun was up till 8! Thanks for keeping the course awesome though!!!
Always a challenging course to play. Very well taken care of and not too expensive either.
One of the best courses you can play for the money. Very long, challenging course if you want it to be. Nice large greens once you get close, with plenty of punishing sand if you miss short, left or right.
Great spring conditions! One of my all time favorite courses.
Great course. But very tough. Usually easy to get on during the weekdays. Thats why I play here.
This is a beautiful well-kept course that has an amazing set of staff who make sure your golf experience is safe and fun during Covid. The cafe is actually delicious and the drinks are really reasonably priced. And you cant beat the prices as well for a tee time.
Just used practice area, nice driving range, chipping green with sand bunker and a good putting green.
The golf course itself is great, fairways and greens are well maintained. The worker there are very rude especially the marshals. we teed off 10 minutes after group in front of us and about 4 holes in we are getting harassed By marshal that we’re playing too slow. There is about 5 groups in front of us That we’re waiting on so we can’t play any faster
Good filelds!No word need
Always a great course
Awesome course!! Definitely a must play
It was great to be able to get out and play. The course was in great shape. They did respect the boundaries in regards to Covid 19.
Excellent condition, up hill and down sale, doglegs left and right, elevated greens, some tough holes and a couple of easy ones . I was told you needed to be accurate, but not really . Excellent bunker placement and condition . VERY fast greens . Very enjoyable !!!.
Under valued golf course. This is challenging and fun. Need to play here more often for sure!
A breathtaking course with an unbelievable staff. I wanted my boyfriend to enjoy a round while we were traveling and they went the extra mile to make sure everyone in the party was taken of. We will be sure to come back next time we are in town.
Everything was great. Greens could have been a little more consistent.
This course was fun & challenging. Scenic views on almost every hole. Itll definitely test your skills. If youre a high handicapper you might find it difficult to play. The course is well maintained & was in great shape & for the price well with it. Ill definitely play this course again.
Spectacular round of golf
Great place to spend a day.
Beautiful.
This is a true classic golf course. Friendly and down-to-earth staff, Nice practice facility with a large practice and chipping green. The course has more than enough to keep your attention with challenging doglegs and large elevated greens. Only 5 minutes from the airport making it a great place to get a last minute round in before taking off. The only downside is the course is hard to find since theres really no clear sign posting.
Played April 2016. Course was in good shape. Greens were firm, but not rock hard, and very fast. Some greens are so hard you have to land it short, others are nice and soft so you go right at the pin. These you want to just land the green and have it roll out. Front nine is nice and wide, very forgiving. Back nine plays more narrow. Course seems long. (or I wasnt hitting them long that day!) Almost all my approach shots on par 4s seemed to be 160+ yds, even after a bomb drive. Walkable course, with some elevation changes, but tee-to-green is short. Would play again for sure.
The Championship Golf Course - University of New Mexico is a championship layout that ranks with some of the best in New Mexico. This desert-style course provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area.
The best public golf course in Albuquerque - a classic layout and usually in excellent condition.
I’m a beginner and an employee had the nerve to come scold me and ruined my whole experience. I wasn’t playing slow or holding people up and was going at pace. He had the nerve to tell me I should play the 3 hole. I paid my $50 just like everything else. He brought me to tears and I will never come here again.
Course is in excellent shape year round. have played several times. practice facilities are top notch and the course itself provides a challenge to skilled golfers. The greens are in good condition- fast. i recommend it to anyone visiting albuquerque
I really like the course and was looking forward to playing it again. But the pace of play was awful and not a single Marshall to be found on the course. Front 9 not bad but on back 9 had to wait at least 5 minutes for every shot. Signs in the carts saying pace of play with a 5 minute stop at the turn should take 4.5 hours. We have 3 holes to go and we are already at over 4 hours. I don’t understand courses that set a standard and then don’t enforce it.
Great course. New carts.
The service was great the people were so friendly and would recommend you try this course for a wonderful golfing experience
Really need a beverage cart.
Well maintained Championship Course.
Great course!
Beautiful course
One of the best courses in New Mexico. Hard but fair, beautiful greens and fairways, great price compared to the resort courses.
Great course, in great condition, for a great price. Now I just need to try to play great 😉
Nice place to go golfing and the view is amazing. Nice staff
The rudest clubhouse in Albuquerque by far
Course is nice, but staff is rude and unkind. Its unfortunate that this course is affiliated with my Alma mater.
Outstanding facility, good golf, you can even have wedding parties there.
You should get a polite and much kinder person to answer the phones.
Nice layout. Greens are in good shape.
