The one and only place In Albuquerque I buy my firearms from! The owner and his workers are so knowledgeable and friendly! I keep coming back because of the customer service, great prices and just good vibes all around! One of my favorite purchases from Shooters den! Awesome customer service owner Tony is always helpful when I come in it’s where I purchase all my firearms. Very knowledgeable very helpful. The female working there is quite the surprise to being so full of knowledge on firearms and helping you find the right one and right holster. Ammo prices are only high due to consignment but that is out of their control they can’t pick those prices which is understandable. Guns are well priced and they have raffles!

The owner is is dishonest, shop elsewhere. If you click lowest reviews many others have complained. But for some reason google is only showing positive in most relevant. The owners response to negative reviews are generally sarcastic. Ill expect the same. This is exactly my experience at Shooters Den: The ammo i was interested in seemed expensive. I asked the owner, who was all smiles, why it was so expensive though I knew ammo is more costly a little bit nowadays. He said supply and demand. Not knowing the pricing in ABQ, I asked several times if he would just be honest and let me know if Id find this ammo half the price down the street before I bought it..He said absolutely not. The ammo was on consignment (but new). I bought 2 boxes for $140 inc tax. Went to my car and called a gun store 3 miles away and found it was half the price. Went back in the Shooters Den told the owner who of course said no returns even though it was just 10 minutes after I purchased it. Hes local and I just assumed hed level with me for the small amount of dollars involved. Certainly owner will have a negative response to this, but these are the true facts. Go somewhere else, the owner is dishonest.

Good people good prices good store. Shop local! I have ONLY received exceptional customer service from the folks at shooters den. I have been there several times for different reasons and it’s always a good experience. Highly recommended by me, even as a new shooter.

I always shop here for all my gun related needs, they have the most and best AR parts in the store. The staff is always helpful and answers all my questions. Came in to (shooters den) today to try to sell my glock 17 gen 5 and the dude at the front desk said he couldnt buy it and just looked at me weird????....it was brand new not even shot yet with ameriglo sites... dont no why he said that but....so I just went to (guns unlimited) and the dude helped me out

Tried to charge literally 2 times what a glock should cost. Thank god I tore the 4473 up. Looked around the store a bit more to see what else was ridiculously priced to keep the business afloat and I’d say the only retail items are the optics which of course have a poor selection. Will not enter this so called business again. Unless you’re made of bread...I’d suggest the same

Store owner is not good at business. Hopefully other employees aren’t trained by him. Spent $ at his run down store on a gouged Glock and got insulted the very next week when browsing for the only retail items they sell: optics. Would give 0 stars if possible

A lot of price gouging. I understand the times and the lack of supply but there are plenty of shops in town that still manage to get more in and keep things at a lower price than this shop. There comes a point where it isnt even supply and demand anymore and just taking advantage of the situation and those less informed about prices. Trying to sell complete lowers for $800 when others have the same if not better quality lowers for $570 is ridiculous. The ridiculousness of prices goes on and on.

Nice staff, friendly. The price gouging is what gets me. Charging double the cost of an item is not cool. I I understand a little bit of profit but this is bad. New buyers be aware and do your research.

I recommend going just about anywhere else if you want decent prices and an actually genuine staff. The owner treats customers horribly and points a gun at them as they leave. On top of that he has to pay people for 5 star reviews.

Three teenagers were behind the counter without masks on. When I asked for direction as to where a specific type of ammo was located, one of them pointed and replied: all of our ammo is over there. Instead of walking over to show us, he remained behind the counter, asking me questions in a condescending manner. Because of his rude, unhelpful behavior, my daughter and I left to find a store that prioritized customer service and followed the CDC’s recommended COVID-19 guidelines.

I’m Not one to write a bad review unless truly deserved!! Appointment had been set for buyer of a firearm I was gonna transfer. Walked in the store no one was there only owner... and he refused to help us saying he had no knowledge of anything or appointment. He was rude very unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone going to the store. Plenty of places In town that would be happy to have your business not this place tho!

Tony and Brent were very helpful with getting me all my guns. I’ve purchased and built three guns from this place now. Always super helpful and great prices and have a bunch of stuff in stock most other stores don’t. I can’t recommend anyone else in Albuquerque.

It was my first time in store and I was very glad I found them. Tony was a great help and very knowledgeable. They had a wide range of pistols and ARs and are happy to do custom builds to spec. Called them to see if they had 9mm ammo. They said they did and you can buy as much as you want (conveniently leaving out the price). I show up excited to finally find some in town to support my local business, only to find they had inflated the prices to $50/box for some standard range ammo! I expected an increase, but this is definitely a scam and they are trying to take advantage of their local customers during the ammo shortage. I will never buy from this business again.

Honestly the only gun store I go to in Albuquerque veteran operated and youll get nothing but honesty from any of the employees who wont steer you wrong and within this industry its better to be brutally honest than it is misleading you will get nothing less than the best customer service, help and advice from the guys over at shooters den very knowledgeable I always leave feeling that Ive gained more knowledge about building platforms everytime I leave

I was shopping for a .40 or .45, and when my son and I walked in, there was one person behind the counter who only greeted us after we said hello. I asked him what they have in stock, and was hard pressed to get him to look up from his phone and attempt to grunt out an answer. After a month of decisions with help from friends, I decided on a Ruger LCP2. Could not find it anywhere locally and nationally was out of stock. I called Shooters Den to see if I did find one, if it could be shipped to them?Lucky for me, he had the darn thing and at a reasonable price. I went right over, along with the paperwork, was in and out in a half hour.

Walked in and the guy is playing video games dressed as a soldier. All their guns were $700 or more. Do yourself a favor and buy yourself a new gun for less. Will take my business elsewhere.

I went in to get my gun shipped to a buyer! It was good I didnt get to see my gun one last time before they packaged it to ship because I wouldve probably cried! They had great customer service skills and kept me busy looking at their wonderful selection of firearms while waiting for the shipping label to generate! Great job guys! Even though I sold my prized possession I still walked away with a smile on my face due to their phenomenal customer service skills! :)

If you want to get ripped off then go here. For example .556 amo box of 20 rounds was $30 plus tax. On average this box sells anywhere from $8.99 to $10.99. What a rip! I would give this place 0 stars.(it’s called price gouging so Unamerican )

Talk about a joke of a shop. Walked in and asked for an AK magazine. When he didn’t have it he began to tell me that my Norinco is junk made from smashed cars. Kind of contradictory compared to the displays he had on the wall that are half the value of my junk AK. Not sure if that was a ploy to buy one of the cookie cutter ARs off the wall? Then goes on the run his mouth about my gun not functioning unless I buy the original Chinese magazines, again not true. But another idd point that an original mag is hard to find under $100.So sad I didn’t get the guys name, but he referred to it as “his shop”, maybe the owner or just an overly possessive clerk.Not sure if it was ignorance or just soft feelings since I was asking for AK part from and AR guy.

I went in to get my rifle fixed and the guy said he has to charge $85 an hour plus the part which is $65. He said it would take about 2 hours to fix so 235 total.i said no Ill get the part and do it my self so he just got the part and told me he would do it for free if I got the more expensive part. I said okay how long will it take for the fix he replied 5 minutes. So I do not recommend this place they will try to run you for your money.

After visiting the store a few times and talking with Andrew and the store owner. I find their selection to be good for my needs. They are willing to special order items your looking for and if they havent had it available to them they will soon. If your law enforcement, military, or a veteran they offer discount. I came in recently to buy ammo and after chatting with the owner about a case i had sitting around for about a year, he offered a trade for the pistol case and included the military discount. Grade A guys in my books.

Just got my first gun from here! Its an M&P Shield 2.0The manager Tony was really helpful in finding me a gun that fit my needs. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. I love that its ran by veterans because my boyfriend is a disabled veteran. I got a great deal on the gun and the best part is being able to support a local business.

Went here looking for a conceal carry option for my xd mod2 45, was looking for a belly strap front draw style but couldnt find any in town. Ended up getting the next best option, it was a tactical shirt that has dual pistol holsters under both arm pits. The pistol holsters work great but the mag holsters have no securing strap so if I bend over they fall out. The shirt I was concerned with because its thick and I was worried about it being too hot, turned out the material actually seems cooler than a regular cotton shirt. If you get it get one size bigger than your norm. These shirts are like compression shirts, I have a hurt rib and shoulder right now but the way this shirt applies pressure, it makes them feel better. The guys there were super cool, let me try on the shirt with my weapon to make sure it was what I wanted. Were very friendly and professional, like we had been friends for years. The price on the shirt was very cheap for the quality i feel it has. Very happy with my purchase here! Store was very clean and organized as well!

Awesome place, I was greeted as I entered and asked if I needed help, there were a few people in front of me so I patiently waited for my turn. The two guys working today (2-28-18 @ 4:30pm) were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, they made sure I got everything I needed and even had some extra advice and education on the side. Edit: Last time I went which was pre pandemic the prices were pretty good, but this recent visit had shocked me because of the price gouging going on here. Don’t get me wrong I get supply and demand and I’m all for capitalism but that’s to a certain point and that point is ripping people off purely for profit. Example there was a smith and Wesson sport 2 msrp $740 street price pre pandemic $600, their current price is over $1400. There was also a century arms VSKA AK47 which is selling at plenty other retailer right now for $800, their price over $1500. At that point I knew to just walk out because I was sure everything else was ridiculously priced. I hope this store gets back to normal because the owner is a friendly guy but right now he is legit ripping people off. Ammo is also priced super high compared to places around. Lancer ar15 mags $40, should be $20 max. The list goes on and on. Don’t rip off those who keep your business afloat.
