Every thing is good and working.

Rental was simple, plenty of equipment to choose from, so you have the right tool for the job. Staff are incredibly nice, and knowledgeable. Drop-off was a breeze. I highly recommended.

When picking up or returning equipment I believe the yard personnel should be more alert as to what is going on. I had to wait and go inside twice to get yard staff out to help get the equipment. When returning, I watched three young men walk by and not even acknowledge my existence. I asked all three what I needed to do and was told rather abruptly that I just needed to wait and someone would be out. Not exactly my idea of customer service.

I called and spoke with a representative on Tuesday afternoon to arrange to rent a concrete grinder. He told me if I waited until Wednesday (before Thanksgiving) I could have it for four days for the 1 day rental and save a few bucks by setting up my reservation online. He asked what time I would pick it up and I said about 1:30. I went online and set up the rental for 1:30 pickup, it wanted to charge me for three days, so I called back and the rep said they would manually adjust it when I came in. OK.I showed up at 1:47 and they were closed. Nothing online about that, the rep never mentioned closing early in either conversation, the online reservation site took the scheduled time and I ended up paying quite a bit more for a nearby competitor at the last minute.I called on Monday to make sure I wasnt charged for the rental and to let them know I showed up for my rental and they had closed early. The gal that answered said in a snarky response, We closed early. (Duh!, I just said that.) No apology for my inconvenience, not a bit of care about it. Her whole attitude was whatever. They closed at 1:00 for Thanksgiving.I have no problem with that, just not being informed of it in any way.Very poor customer service. Mistakes do happen. I get that. Its the way a business responds to those mistakes when they are pointed out to them that tells you how they feel about their customers.

Great customer service and reliable equipment. I do not look anywhere else for my equipment rental needs because I have always been treated fairly and will continue using United Rental in the future

Hands down the best customer service I have received from any business in a long time, and even better its not just a one time thing its every time i go in!! They really go out of their way to make sure you get the right piece of equipment needed. Excellent selection of equipment for rent. Excellent rates. Best choice in Albuquerque for rental equipment.

My rep is the best always comes thru even if its last minute as a GC thats always a plus to have a quality rental company .

It was exactly what I needed and was ready to go when I got there.

We are here in Albuquerque for the balloon fiesta and rented a generator from Tristan, Sam and Craig at United Rentals. Sam was friendly and helpful with paperwork. Tristan and Craig loaded the generator in our truck. Also very helpful and friendly with any questions we had. When we got the generator back to the RV to set up, we noticed none of the plugs we had fit. Phone call to United Rentals and Tristan and Craig went over and above to help us. United Rentals should be so proud of these workers. Thank you Sam, Tristan and Craig

I rented a trencher for one day and had to extend the rental for a second. The team at United Rentals went out of their way to be accommodating and even helped me out with the price of the rental for the second day. If you need to rent equipment this should be the first place you go to.

Need better communication

Nice enough employees but typically understaffed, often times do no not have equipment to rent and an equipment reservation means nothing. Have shown up only to find out they forgot to reserve what I made an appointment to pick up.

I was very impressed with the customer service Becky at the front desk provided. I will definitely be going back for additional equipment.

Tried to rent a 3/4 ton truck to tow for business and they did not have one. They could of brought one in town but Id have to pay a 1800 freight charge. Why would I have to pay freight if in renting it for a month. Not good. Will never go there again

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. A CONFIRMED RESERVATION FOR EQUIPMENT MEANS NOTHING!!!!!FACTS THAT UNITED RENTALS CANNOT DISPUTE:Monday Nov 7, 2016, I made a reservation for a 3000W Honda generator for the upcoming weekend. Reservation was confirmed in the computer system and I was told that the equipment would be available for pickup Friday afternoon.Friday Nov 11, 2016, 3pm. I showed up to pick up the generator and the manager (Glen) tells me that even though I have a confirmed reservation in their system, they dont have the generator on hand and they arent going to get it in, and they dont have any other generators. I ask about renting a smaller 2000W generator. He made a phone call to an employee and told me they were in the process of picking one up from a job site. I said I would rent that one and they agreed to deliver it to my house at appx 6pm that evening for use over the weekend.5:03pm. United Rentals manager calls to tell me that they did not get the 2000W generator, so I am out of luck renting from them. However, he located a similar generator at a Home Depot in Albuquerque that I would have to pick up that evening. Unfortunately, the Home Depot is located 11 miles from my house, it is now Friday night, and I need the generator at 8am Saturday morning.So, instead of the 3000W generator that I had a confirmed reservation for and that I would have only had to pay for one day of rental fees since United Rentals is closed on Sundays, or a smaller generator that they were going to deliver to my house as consolation for their screw-up, I now have to drive halfway across Albuquerque to a first come-first serve rental place, AND pay for TWO days of rental fees from Home Depot (basically twice the cost of what United was going to charge me).HEY UNITED. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNSATISFACTORY. A RESERVATION IS AN AGREEMENT OR COMMITMENT BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR CUSTOMER THAT YOU WILL HAVE THE RESERVED EQUIPMENT ON HAND AT THE DATE AND TIME SPECIFIED IN THE RESERVATION. IT IS *****NOT***** AN EXCUSE FOR YOU TO BRUSH ME OFF AND SEND ME 22 MILES COMPLETELY OUT OF MY WAY (11 MILES EACH WAY) ON A FRIDAY NIGHT TO PAY MORE TO RENT EQUIPMENT THAT YOU WERE SUPPOSED HAVE HAD ON HAND, FROM SOMEONE ELSE.BOTTOM LINE: UNITED RENTALS IN ABQ CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO UPHOLD THEIR COMMITMENT ON A RESERVATION. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
