I don’t generally write a review but this one deserves a 5 star! A couple of weeks ago, had an appointment for our Honda recall at 7:30am was planning to drop off the car and get a ride to work! Steve Coutee went above and beyond that day! Not only he gave us a ride to work, because the person in charge of giving rides was late, he made sure to give me updates, understood the urgency of the work and knew so much about the job that needed to be done! Steve was nothing short of amazing that day. I don’t always have a good experience at Walker Honda, but this time it was impeccable!
DO NOT come here! Just find a Honda in Texas. Oil change took 4+ hours (with an appointment), with 2 kids in tow waiting hours is a nightmare. I made an appt online for a car window to be fixed and get there (drive an hour) to be told they can’t do it today, maybe they could get to it Monday. This Honda will NEVER get my business against
Terrible service, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Took my vehicle in for repairs they never repaired anything, told me my vehicle was fixed and they know that it wasn’t, and then charged me. You are better off taking your vehicle somewhere else for Honda services trust me. Its actually pretty sad that the Ford dealership is taking care of everything.

TERRIBLE! Absolute worst Honda in the state. Had a serious issue starting my car & they didnt even bother to check it! Theyll take almost two hours to change your oil while trying to get you to buy unnecessary tires that they dont even have in stock or your filter. Bs artists at best. Make the drive if you can to the Community Honda in Lafayette. MUCH better service & quicker as well. Also, no bs add ons to juice up your bill.

So I was looking for a used car I told them my price range, they told me they had a Honda accord coming that was in my budget and would call me when it came in. They call me later that evening said the car had arrived and to come by the next morning to make the deal. I get there at 10 am and they sold it to someone else. First off dont tell someone you have a car for them and schedule for them to come up there to buy it and then sell it before they get there I was not late it was still early they knew I was coming to buy it they told me to be there and stiffed me. Very poor salesmanship. Never get my business I had the money in hand ready to buy you should have told the other person you had a buyer already. Went to leglue nissan instead and got a good deal on a used dodge charger.

Do not recommend anyone to do business with this company. They lied about bent rods not being covered under factory warranty on a stock 1.5T engine in a 2020 Civic Touring. Friend had to pay $6100 to get a USED motor swapped in. After the motor was swapped in, they did not even reprogram the mileage on the gauge cluster and left over 30 dings and scratches on the body of the car. Be wary doing business with them.
Came in for an oil change, tire rotation, and safety recall. After approx 2 hrs, the only thing that had been done was the “ordering” of a part for the safety recall. I actually made an appointment for this work. They offered to comp the oil change for wasting 2 + hours of my time. Horrible service!
My service has been pleasant, thanks to Steve, the man who runs the service dept. Unfortunately, I had a slight misunderstanding with Eric, used car manager. I returned my car because I saw something hanging under it. Steve got the service dept to put it on the rack where it was discovered that the undercarriage cover???? Dont know what its called, was broken, ripped, something. I was upset and concerned. Along came Eric, used car manager, obviously headed to deal with another situation, however, I called his name and he came over and looked at my broken undercarriage cover and said he would NOT replace it because I had obviously hit something. I assured him I had not. He walked away. I had just bought the car. I mostly drive to work and home. I knew I had not hit anything. The service department kindly told me to buy some spray undercoating and they would fix it for me. I was upset BECAUSE I KNEW I had not hit or run over anything in my new to me car!! A few weeks later, I got a phone call from the service department advising me that my carpet was in. I was confused. Huh??? Im busy at work and time went by. Steve called me again and said that my part was in.....some part on back order that they had discovered during inspection. This is a 2017 model by the way, with only 30,000 miles. Anyway, I took the car today and left it. My grandson took me to work. Steve calls to tell me my car is ready before my workday ended. Great!! I got a ride to Walker Honda. I got in my car and saw the can of undercoating, unused. I went to Steve, the service manager, I guess thats his title, to inquire about the spray that they were supposed to repair my undercarriage with. Upon further investigation, it is discovered that the carpet repair that was.discovered DURING INSPECTION PRIOR TO SALE, was indeed the undercarriage cover. No one knows where carpet came in. As it turns out, this malady was discovered during inspection, told to me that a part was.on back order, I was good with that and bought the vehicle. All the while,.it was broken, so Erics accusing me of running over something was wrong. I am a widow, an older woman and bought the car by myself. I did not think to crawl under it. I trusted them. And, they repaired it. Great service dept. But, Eric should not have accused a customer without getting his facts straight. Furthermore, dont trust the finance dept. I went in with my own financing of 3.5%. They said they could beat it. I said ok. They said 2.4%. Again, I said ok. I believed the finance man, scott??? It wasnt until my first payment was due that I realized my interest rate wasnt 2.4%. It is 4.4%. Even the salesman, who is no longer there, recalled this conversation of a rate of 2.4%. Oh well. My fault for signing on the dotted line. Now, I have to refi with my bank to get the originL 3.5%. But, all in all, its about service after the sale. Right? I find Steve, and the service dept as a whole, to be caring and generous with their time and patient with my questions. Mr Walker came in while I was there. I told him my boring story. BTW......love my Honda CRV.

HIRE A GREETER!!!Took my vehicle in specifically for a oil change and right passenger side noise coming from tire area. Left with the noise I wanted fixed!!! After youve hired a greeter hire more competent mechanics too!

Services station was terrible. The manager was verbally aggressive and inappropriate after falsely promising to change my tire immediately as I was going to leave becauseno one could tell me how long the wait would be. Wait time also was terrible, but the biggest issuewas the managers reactivity and lack of respect for customers as well as dishonest promise to work on it immediately. It took 75 minutes to change 1 tire.

I recently purchased a vehicle here (January 2021) and they completely shattered my expectations I had of them . I was a previous Honda owner and purchased the previous vehicle out of Baton Rouge, but due to moving here for work I had my car serviced here 3 times, all were good expect the last service which made me a little uneasy. However I still gave them a chance to earn my business when it was time to purchase. After all they were convenient and had the exact vehicle I was looking for.I was greated by josh breimel, who was friendly, out going, and very knowledgeable of the vehicles offered. My test drive was long enough to get a feel of vehicle and josh remained easy to talk to, being a car dealership they pushed a little on me to buy that day, and I wasn’t quite ready, I was “just looking “ after all, but if they let everyone say that and leave they wouldn’t be in business for long.I ended up purchasing that day, during my lunch break of all things and it was super quick, speedy and efficient. I’m totally in love with my vehicle, and satisfied with the price paid, and treatment I received from the dealer staff.Today I had a service appointment with the service department at walker Honda for an itty bitty noise concern I had on my new vehicle. They were extremely busy but Steve coutee was the best thing I could have asked for. Super courteous and mild mannered, didn’t make me feel stupid for complaining on my little noise, and he was easy to talk too (I’m the worlds least talkative person and hate small talk btw ) I was offered a loaner car without me even thinking of asking for one and my car was finished at the promised time.I’m throughly pleased with the decision I made to purchase from here, they’ve made it so easy. I feel like if I should need service again it won’t be a dreaded experience like it was at my previous dealer, and that I’ll have some sort of relationship built with them.Thanks Josh and Steve

I would have given a better rating but BUYERS BEWARE! Look for an option of ETCHING $249.00 (Vin Window Etching) that will be secretly added to your bill. This is a way they swindle more money from you. Not a single word was mentioned about adding this option. Lost my business with this tactic.

Adequate. My daughter recd a recall notice for front passenger airbag repair on her 05 Elephant (Element). Since she works during the day, I made the appointment (9:00am) and took it in for her. The notice said that loaner cars were available at no cost. Since it was going to be 2 hours to complete the service, and I knew it would take longer than that, since estimates are always wrong, I requested a loaner car. They didnt have them, but offered me a rental through a name brand company (dont recall which) for a $200 deposit plus the purchase of total coverage insurance. I declined, but did make use of their courtesy van to take me to nearby Walmart where I killed a couple of hours. [Here I will say that the courtesy van driver was indeed courteous, friendly, and careful. He also returned to pick me up exactly when he said he would.] The car was ready about 12:30 or so, 3.5 hrs.
I went there because I had to have a airbag replaced because it had been recalled and originally I was told it was only take 45 minutes so I left and went and got lunch with the hopes that it would be done by the time I returned little did I know I would be there 4 hours..... Im sure they do great work but it would have been nice for them to be up front so I would have known what to expect

This dealership is so transparent. When I was unable to purchase a vehicle due to factors beyond our control, they still continued the conversation with me. Gavin is amazing. I had a deal with another dealer but he recognized that I was being played. He gently broke it to me that he didn’t believe the deal but that if it was real that I should take it immediately. Of course the deal wasn’t real. Gavin Jeppesen is a gem. Ask for him.

After numerous calls with salesman Troy Young, we drove from out of town to drive a Ford Escape. He really made us feel welcome and made the car purchasing experience as pain free as possible:) He made sure that our new SUV was detailed and had a full tank of gas so that we were ready to roll back home in a timely manner. We took our HRV for maintenance back in December 2018. This month, we found out that whoever worked on our car at Walker failed to properly torque the lower strut mounting bolts, which would eventually have caused the wheels of the vehicle to fall off. This person also failed to return the dipstick for the transmission fluid. We spoke to Josh at the service department, who, without any investigation, basically said that we were lying. With such shoddy workmanship and such rude treatment of customers, we are ending our association with Walker Honda.
My salesman was on top of everything I asked for. He was absolutely committed to my satisfaction. The Odyssey if perfect for our family. The kids love it! Great experience at Walker Honda.

They claim they fix it, then you drive it 3 miles down the road and BAM same issue! You will get the same ole same ole recited line” yes ma’am you are in good hands, we will take care of you” blah blah blah. “What other dealers wont, NEITHER WILL WALKER” should be their saying. 😡

As soon as I get my car back from their service department, I will never come back. We made an appointment only to have waited around for 3+ hours and my car never be looked at. We decided to drive the hour back home and pick it up in the morning. We are trying to call and just keep getting told that they have to find the right person and call us back. What’s the point in making an appointment when other vehicles get to go ahead of yours?
I had a recall appointment at 9 (for a 40 minute fix per the service department), and Im still sitting here over 3 hours later while Ive watched customer after customer come in after me and leave. I have a feeling that because I dont have to pay for the issue theyre doing everyone else first. So, I recommend you find a better Honda dealer to go to.

I went in for my regular oil change about 9:00 A.M. Friday. While waiting I decided to chat with Mr. Lamuel Holmes. He is the salesman from which I purchased my 2012 Honda C-RV. Hes such a friendly young man, a beautiful personality; it seem as though I was visiting with one of my sons.At approximately 11:30 A.M. I drove out in my beautiful blue 2015 Honda C-RV. Honda has a gold mine in Mr. Holmes. You only have 5 stars in your rating chart, you need to add 5 more because he definitely rates a 10 star in my book.
The wait was terrible but they took me to het my nails done so i was pleased.

Took my car in to get checked out after getting in an accident and waited for an hour and a half. This was early in the morning and they were NOT busy. The mechanic came out to inform me that my license plate was rattling. I asked if they had checked my suspension and my alignment and he looked at me like i was stupid. They had to take it back for another hour before they could tell me what was actually wrong.Not to mention, buy a car anywhere else and youll save at least 2k.

Very disappointed. Went there for brake pads and rotors resurfaced. Paid dealership prices because we were willing to pay more to get it done right! Soon afterwards the brake started making an odd thumping noise on and off. Called them 4 different times over the course of a month to ask if this was normal or if I needed to take it in (I moved out of state, so couldnt go back to Walker). They NEVER called me back.Finally went to another mechanic to have it looked at: turns out they didnt replace or clean the hardware when they replaced the brake pads! The slides werent cleaned, and the pad clips that should have been clean and dry were lubed with caliper lube! New mechanic showed me the filthy hardware and how the brake pads were stuck/rubbing the same spot on the pad clips instead of sliding like theyre supposed to. Basically they were sticking to the rotor instead of releasing when I let off the brakes. So disappointed that the dealership did such a terrible job with my brakes, and then wouldnt call me back about it! Never going back there!
Lamuel is the best. Always friendly, knowledgeable and makes a process that is known to be stressful; not so stressful. 14 years and 4 cars; I am a Walker fan and will continue to be. Thanks everyone!!!

Dealt with Derek Wooden a while back, and WOW! He was so incredibly patient with me and had sympathy when I wasnt finding what I liked. Such a patient, kind person. Once we found the PERFECT car at a beyond perfect price, it took just over an hour to sign the papers. We were out of there in no time. Derek walked the lot many many times trying to help me find a used car right for me. Wonderful place, great prices, excellent employees. I will be back next time I purchase a vehicle and I will be using Derek if he is available!

We purchased a used car from Walker Honda. They didn’t disclose an existing issue to us until after we purchased it. We have had several issues arise since and they have cut corners and treated us very rudely in what I imagine is an attempt to dissuade us from using their services to get it fixed for 50% of the cost. We thought purchasing from a dealer assured us things would be done right, but clearly we were mistaken. Use extreme caution when purchasing a used car from this dealer.

I love my truck! The experience was the worst Ive ever had. The delivery to me was not except able. Communication is the key along with follow up. This was not before hand. My truck was not cleaned nor did it have gas in it. I had no spare tire tools to take down my spare tire. They had my new liecence plate a week..before I got it. Im sorry only goes so far. My temporary paper plates they gave me was for a different vehicle all togeather. To many things wrong for a delivery of a new truck. There is more but Im tired of writing.

If I could rate this place a zero I would !My sister recently got a car from here. She traded her car in with a man named Gavin Jepplen. This has been the worst experience.. it has been one thing after another she literally has barely been able to drive the car because there is always something wrong with it, it has mostly been in the shop since she got it. Apparently there was a mixup with the Carfax( how this happened is beyond me )so now he decided to tell her that the car was in a wreck, which she had already asked this question before signing for it and he told her no it had never been in a wreck these people have been extremely unhelpful and unprofessional.The car ended up needing a new bumper, one of the lights almost fell out, and then the AC stopped working. Mind you she was paying over 20,000 on this car! So while they had the car in the shop they brought her a rental which was literally about to run out of gas when they gave it to her. So finally when she gets her car back ( which they said they detailed, and it was filthy! ) they did a terrible job at “ fixing it” ( if they even did🤷♀️) so now she is having to trade this car in and get a brand new one in and dispense more money out 🤬 I can really go on and on they are not even trying to fix the situation this has been the most stressful and worst experience and I would NEVER recommend anyone going to Honda walker EVER!!
Purchased a car in July & after an accident resulting in a total loss, returned in November to do it all over again. Mike & Misty were awesome after such a hassle & headache. Bittersweet but loving my 16 Accord.
I checked the transmission fluid in our 2004 Honda Pilot and thought it was low. I made an appointment for later the same day, brought it in to fill to acceptable level. The tech checked it out and told me the level was fine. They did not have to do this, they could have told me they filled it and charge me for something that was not done and I would have not given it a second thought. The tech also told me the rear brake pads were worn and should be replaced. All of this was not cost to me.Thank you Walker Honda shop employees for your honesty, friendly and professional service.
