I absolutely love this store!The staff is knowledgeable about the products and helpful when you need to ask a question!The only thing is that everything is so darn expensive and some of the products are just not worth the price! I know my skin care products and some of them are just overpriced for no reason!Other than that I love stopping in even if Im not buying anything!

Ask for Kelly - she is the best! She has a great eye, really nice taste and I 100% trust her honest recommendations. I only stop in when she’s working and for years she’s helped me pick out some of my favorite go-to items. I never know what I want but she finds the perfect fit. This is where I go for make-up and it’s really because of her!

I love the chicken and rice from the dark-haired girls. They are pretty hot and smell delicious. Plus they also get my shade right and love my dog. The service usually tends to be great when you come with a decent demeanor and common courtesy. Cough cough.

This Bluemercury as well as others is hit or miss. This is the closest make up store to me. Usually, I come in to hi, or re- up on skin care. This place is not cheap. Well Kelly ( the asain rep) decided to be mean to me. I asked to use the rest room and was told where it was. Kelly decided to interject and say the restroom was for customers only. CLEARLY I am a customer and I come in frequently. On top of the chain not stocking brands/or shades for women of darker hues, I do not think I will return with this level of disrespect.

Staff is unfriendly. Girl named Marie acted like I didnt know what I was talking about when I asked about my Nars foundation. She was very condescending. She was wrong and wish I wasnt desperate to buy it, but I did. Wont be returning unless they hire a friendlier staff. Too bad because I live nearby. Ill take my business elsewhere.

This will be the only place I will ever buy makeup in the future. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and provide great service.Damien and everyone are truly wonderful. He has done my makeup for galas in DC (does an AMAZING) job, and recently the entire staff at the shop helped me with a truly huge crisis:I had just flown in from London, opened my bag and realized that my makeup was completely stolen. This was the night before several very important work meetings, gah! The entire staff at Blue Mercury including Damien helped put things together and gave me some very generous samples to help. Huge fan of all their products! My skin has completely changed for the better all because of an employee who recommended some great products to me:) It gets a little busy on the weekends, but staff does the best they can to accommodate anyone that needs help.

The worst customer service ever. 4 people in the store NO customers and only one spoke to us. The 2 dark hair girls were talking about what was made for dinner the night before. OH! it was chicken and rice by the way. Charged my card wrong said it was voided and couldnt give a void receipt. Apparently doesnt know how to use her pos. I had to call my credit card company and it was changed with a confirmation #. On the phone with my credit company for 45 mins and they couldnt fugured it out. So, i ended up doing legal disputes.The ONLY that helped and was concerned was Damian. Thank you! The 2 dark hair ones SUCK! GO MAKE YOUR CHICKEN AND RICE.

Theres one young, friendly Asian lady that works here thats nice to interact with but other than that, staff is not great, selection is just ok.
