Bought 6 chicks here and 3 of them were roosters. If you want to spend a few dollars extra for your animal supplies come here. They never have multiple registers open so be ready to wait in line to check out. Poor customer service skills by employees when asked for help they act like you are bothering them. In my opinion get your supplies from Petrus feed and seed. Reasonable prices good fresh feed produced locally sold by friendly knowledgeable people who take time to help.

I was there on Friday 12/6/19 To pick up an order I had placed the day before. I had to go to the cashier 2 times and my grandson went up there once to have someone paged to get my order. I waited 25 minutes for someone to come and assist me. My husband recently passed away and it is very hard for me to be in a public place around people. The whole reason I place my order online is to be able to get in there and get it and get out. This is not the 1st time this has happened but it will be the last because I will no longer buy my animal supplies from there. I WAS going on a monthly basis to get everything I needed for all of my animals. There were only 2 people working at the time that I went which was about 3 oclock p.m. I placed a call to Matt one of the supervisors over the store but I never heard back from him. The girl that finally came and waited on me said they were shorthanded because a couple of people had quit. That is totally understandable but you should have someone on standby especially this time of the year to cover your store. I am really disappointed at the way things are being handled at the Alexandria Louisiana location. Like I said I will no longer shop there. I would say it has been nice doing business with you but actually it hasnt.

Every time I go in there are only 3 workers unless nobody else knows how to work. I never can find what I want or even find someone to ask if they have it.

Recently remodeled, the store has a better layout. All of the pet and livestock food is at the back. Prices on feed are very competitive. Right now they are stocked up for Christmas, gifts everywhere. Wooden signs, toys, and clothes for the ladies who like the country flair.

Great and friendly service. The cashiers offer to look up specials, or call for assistance with loading of heavy or awkward merchandise. I was especially impressed how the employee, Kayla had the aisles of horse feed stacked and organized so that it was easy to select the feed products I needed. Thanks to the hardworking and diligent employees here, its always a pleasure to shop, checkout the baby chicks and ducks, gardening supplies or clothing.

Unique shopping for gifts, rustic country items, along with just about anything else you need from fence to feed, clothes to bird feeders. And certain times of the year, you can purchase live animals. Great place to shop.

My go to place for grilling equipment and propane. They have a great staff and I never have to wait to get my propane refilled. Best propane prices I have found in Cenla.

Went in to find a tool no one carried. And even though it wasnt there either, found a great deal on dog food! The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I love shopping at the Tractor Supply I buy a lot of my chicken feed their. The only thing that I have to complain about is that I am older and whenever I need someone to carry out my feed and load it I have to wait a very long time and sometimes they have to call somebody two or three times before they come up to the front to help

I had a confrontation after hours with the manager Malcolm Morgan in which he grabbed my phone and tried to break it. JW the district manager (is this you?) has yet to resolve this issue after almost two weeks. Ill be posting the video on Facebook and other social media platforms.

The workers are very nice and courteous, they have general items for livestock, and assortment of other items. Although they are lacking when it comes to DIYer supplies such as tools, and it would be much more beneficial for them to carry a better stock in welding items and integrate refills for torch bottles like the other TSC have. The store kind of ignores that department, being as we have a large number of people who are tradesman in the area.

Was looking for replacement handle for brush axe, but couldnt find one. I DID, however find a beautiful log planter for $28.

I really like the Alexandria location. The cashier was very friendly. I do not like the Marksville location, the female cashier was very snooty, and not friendly. So when I need things I need from Tractor Supply I will be getting it from the Alexandria location as much as possible.

Never ben riped off here. have spent over 4000 at this store in farm purchases and everything serves its purpose as it should. returns are easy too

Good place to get your things and go. Know where your things are if you are lucky you may find a staff member who actually cares about there job. Went in once and the cashier complained to me about how she hates her job. Anther asked me what was called over the intercom. And it seems to be an inconvenience to move away from there comfortable spot. So know where your thinks are, get them and go.

A better alternative to Wal Mart.

Has pretty much all the basics in livestock feed & supplies. Including name brand clothing like carhart, Justin, wrangler, etc.! They also have Tools, Welders, pressure washers, & lawn & gardening equipment & supplies from fertilizer & seeds, to fence building equipment, to Mowers, chainsaws, & u get the idea! Lol its every guys favorite store! They also sale Sidexsides, & mini bikes, mowers, etc. U jus need to go visit for urself & I promise ull enjoy & u will be back!

Cashiers are friendly, but theyre rarely at their post so Im left waiting at the counter until they look up from folding clothes to notice that they have a customer. One particular cashier always seems very confused and frazzled. It takes way too long for her to complete a small transaction.
