We had another great experience at landmark Honda. The service center there is fabulous. Our car was serviced while we waited in the timeframe we were given. The staff there are so professional and courteous. Sean Kearney does a remarkable job. My wife and I are very satisfied customers.
Service was good, and quick. Everyone was nice and friendly. Typical services were a bit expensive compared to mechanics, but they provide warranty for their services. All in all, would certainly recommend
I had a 10 am appt for an oil change. Pulled up a few min before. Checked in. Confirmed I would wait.I’m still waiting at +2 hours. For an oil change.Went in to check progress at around 11:45. The man told me “it’s got the parts on it & we should have it right out”.I think what he meant to say was “we’ll drive it right into the garage to change your oil at this time” since as I was returning to my perch on the outside bench I saw my car being driven into the garage.A: I had an appointment. For an oil change. At 10a.m. B: Don’t lie to me. Almost 2 hours later to tell me it will be right out when it hadn’t even been anywhere close to being in yet.I just received a text my car is complete. It’s 12:20.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. We broke down while traveling from NY to SC for medical reasons, and when I explained the situation they were wonderful about taking care of my car the very same morning I had it towed in. They even provided a Lyft free of charge to pick me up from where I was staying so I could get my car when it was finished. Repairs were well done and (with my AAA discount) very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
The service department is great but I do not recommend buying a car here because the sales and financial departments are a huge disappointment. Tim Godinho in service is wonderful and I will continue to have him service my car as long as I’m able. I would never buy another car here, especially as a DC resident. The (now former) employee who I first worked with in finance had never processed a sale to a DC resident, and the paperwork process was a nightmare because of that. I had to return to the dealership twice for two new sets of VA temporary tags while waiting for my DC title, registration, and parking permit (thankfully DC wasn’t enforcing permit parking while I waited on that, but I can only imagine how awful that would be for DC residents when permit parking is enforced). The process for getting my car inspected in DC was horrible as well. The battery was disconnected the day(s) before I purchased my car, so my car wouldn’t pass inspection because the computer systems had not yet reset. I followed three Landmark employees’ advice of driving x distance, at x speed, and shutting the car off x times, and yet my car failed inspection twice and it passed only after I returned from a road trip. The sales manager was very rude and argumentative when addressing the fact that they sold me a car that they knew would not immediately pass DC inspection (note: they never told me that my car would fail until the computer systems reset because the battery had recently been disconnected). Also, allegedly no one knew that the car they sold to me had after-market remote start until I discovered it. Tim successfully fixed that issue for me, but management was quite rude at addressing it. Tim has great customer service skills but the sales department does not. 5 stars for service department, 1 star for sales.
I’m 47 years old. Ive bought three new cars in my lifetime. I worked in a car dealership when I was in my 20s. My wife And have never experienced such a wonderful service as I received at landmark Honda. Brian and the entire group from start to finish are the most professional kind courteous men and women I have ever met. Brian saw that I was a little lost in the beginning and help me with every step along the way. Brian and the team that he works with are by far and away the best service center i’ve ever seen. Other dealerships need to come in and see how these guys run the service center and try to emulate them. They are the epitome of perfection. They get 10 stars all the way around. Brian and the guys know how to treat their customers they make me feel like part of the family. I don’t know how to write a better review or try to express how great the service I received at landmark Honda from Brian and the other team members I actually called my mom and told her about the service there I was in awe of them so thank you Brian and the rest of the team
Under 30? Youll be disrespected by this dealership.I called a day in advance to schedule a test drive appointment. Despite my efforts, when I arrived I was not in their system. The salespeople were impatient and rude. They wouldnt even let me look at the car without putting a $1,000 non-refundable deposit down.Take your business elsewhere.
Mohammed wasnt interested in assisting me, I came to look at a 2012/2013 Town & country, he told me I was denied and he couldnt help me, I asked him if he needed my pay stubs cause he didnt ask about my income, no response. He rid me off, I went to koons ford in Annapolis the next day, the same lenders Mohammed said denied me I got excepted with, walked away with a 2014 town & country. Never judge a book by its cover. I thought about calling back to speak to the manager, Ill just move on in my new vehicle. I wont recommend that branch.
Do not got here. Service is terrible the people do not care about the costumers. I dropped my car off for a recall and was supposed to pick it up that day. I received a call late in the day that they broke the car while they were supposed to be fixing it and told me the car would not have the part in till tomorrow. The manager had no remorse for the money I will now have to spend on transportation. They said the car rental place closes at 5 and there is nothing else they can do. Then tried to make it seem like it was my fault that I had to find a way to transport myself to work in the morning. Truly frustrating… I have never gotten such poor care from a car company. On the phone they kept referring to American Honda as if they are not the Honda company. They refused to say that it was their fault that the part broke. Even though it was fine before I dropped it off there. Truly unacceptable…
Mostly we were happy to find that everyone was nice and treated with respect and care. Good do still exist!
No need to be rude! I don’t know why one of the guys at the service department had such an attitude… Another gentleman wanted to help me, but the guy stopped him and was very rude and condescending. Why couldn’t he just be polite and helpful? What did I do wrong?
Resorts to classic dealer scams. Went to Cars.com saw a vehicle from their website then inquired about it directly with them via a text conversation. Mind you there is no window sticker posted that is legible. We received the quote which was over the posted price plus another $5K in fees. We started breaking down the quote with the salesperson first stating the MSRP isnt even the same as the list price. Additionally, they charge you $1K for freight, you have to pay to have it transferred to their dealership it seems, but the biggest kicker was the $1K appearance package. We found that odd because Honda doesnt offer this and after we requested a copy of the window sticker it wasnt an option from the factory. Turns out they added a dealership window sticker and said they installed mud guards and wheel locks so they called it an appearance package. Honda sells mud guards for $110 and wheel locks for $60 btw. The salesperson said it was for the labor and cant remove them. So $1K for something we never wanted and the best they would do was try and ask the manager for an employee discount ha. Can you believe they want people to pay $2K to have a vehicle delivered to their dealership and install mud guards, on a sedan mind you, and wheel locks that nobody asked for after they messed up their own initial pricing.
The sales team here is awesome! They always do their best to take care of the customer and help with anything you need!
I have been a customer of Landmark Honda for 34 years. I have purchased, and serviced several vehicles from Landmark Honda. The very best customer service I have ever been given and thats why I keep coming back. Sean Kearney is the most pleasant, informative, flexible advisor to date. Always lets me know what days are best, and still gets me taken care of on the days that arent as convenient for Landmark Honda as they are for me. Its a pleasure to work with their Parts and Service Department every time. I am welcomed and appreciated from evereyone from the minute I get out of my vehicles to the moment I get back in...cheers to the best!
They didnt seem to want my business? I tried to come in for a test drive of a car/trim level I already knew/researched and spent a good 15 minutes talking to a sales representative who was telling me about a trim level that doesnt exist. When I gave him my license for a test drive, he told me they actually didnt have the car after telling me they did.He didnt tell me his name. He didnt want to build a relationship. He didnt say anything about me potentially coming back for inventory they might get because he admitted he was clueless about inventory. I told him I wanted to eventually buy a car!He honestly seemed like he was disinterested in the selling of cars, which is weird, because he works in sales at a car dealership. I went immediately to a competitor who was more than accommodating.
Efficient and nice people. But dealerships always charge top dollar for repairs.
This is the worse dealership I went to the dealership to buy car and their was sales man he’s name is mark he’s sales man he’s so rude he cursing me and he didn’t even let me drive the car in the lot and he said no one allowed to see the car or test drive before you buy it I called the manager and the manager was with him he didn’t even do anything I talk to the manager about this but he didn’t even do anything I’m really sad about the experience I got today from the sales man. The worse dealership I ever had in my life 😭
From the moment you set your appointment with Jenna Marvel you can rest assure you are in good hands. I have been taking my Civic to her for the last 5 years and never had any concerns. She is polite and respectful and makes you feel like family. I recommend everyone to Go see Jenna!
The service is really slow! It took 6 hours to do an oil change. I called to find out when it would be ready and they had no idea and promised to call back but never did. When I called them again 45 minutes later, they told me it would be ready at 4:30 but it wasnt ready until after 5. The whole point in going to the dealership for an oil change was for the multipoint inspection but they didnt give the report. After I asked, they had to hunt it down while I waited.
Service department was phenomenal. Sean and EVERYONE I interacted with was warm and friendly. It was my first time here; Sheehy Honda is closer to me but the service there is awful. Glad I came to Landmark and will continue returning. Thank you to the service department for their incredible customer service :)
To me, the initial welcoming phase is one of the most important parts of buying a vehicle, and I was thoroughly impressed with this dealership. The car salesman who assisted us (Christopher Dunn) was by far the most welcoming and easy to work with thus far in my car shopping experience. When I arrived, he was waiting at the door to receive us and start the process which Ive never experienced at any of the many dealerships Ive been to. He was extremely personable and he was willing to fight for me as a customer, which shows a willingness and care which can be rare for dealerships. Rodney (one of the managers at the dealership) was also extremely helpful in the overall process that eventually led to the purchase of my new car. I strongly recommend this dealership and if youre able to, ask for Christopher Dunn for help and assistance on your potential new vehicle because you wont be disappointed.
I would not even give them a one star. They have the poorest service! Refinanced in Jan. 2021 and STILL waiting on my gap insurance refund.Called multiple times!!! Recently, found out my back bumper had an accident and they puttied over it. Now have to replace the whole bumper. This place is a scam.
Maxwell was my sales person very professional knowledgeable and friendly. I made an appointment to see a car, he had already filled out the information so that when I got there I could test drive the car I was interested in. Omar was my financing guy very personable, friendly and helpful. I had been on the market for a totally different car before I decided to get a Honda but glad I decided to get one, not pushy at all. I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely recommend this place and would definitely buy another car from them.
Dont ever really do reviews, but so far after 2 years of being serviced by this dealership I cant say Ive ever had any complaints. Staff is always helpful and the job gets done. Also thanks Kearney.
I went to purchase a car and Mohammand Basharat was my sales consultant his customer service was excellent he answered every question and was patient and polite greeting us with a smile and the same when we left I will always recommend Mr.Badhatat thank you sooo much best experience ever!!
Last night I discovered a completely flat tire on my Honda Odyssey. I have three little kids and was a bit worried about taking the car in for repair, but the service department made it incredibly easy. They were professional, attentive, and so courteous. Thank you!
I wanted to make sure I wrote a review about the exceptional service I received today when I dropped my Pilot off at Landmark Honda. For the past two years of driving my Pilot, I have brought it to Landmark to be serviced. My experiences have been consistently smooth. When I arrived, I was greeted by Brian Caili. While discussing a service I expected to be offered, I became very frustrated. The more frustrated I became, the more patient and professional Mr. Caili was; and I was very irate. Not only did Mr. Caili stay calm and composed, he made sure my truck was completed on time, he went out of his way to have it cleaned (as that is not a service they provided, because of Alexandria City ordinances), he apologized for not being able to accommodate my request (even though it was not his fault) and he insured I received all discounts available to the services I was receiving. In this day and age it is very difficult to find a place where you can received good customer service, it was refreshing and a pleasure to work with Mr. Caili at Landmark Honda today.I wish I would have kept my composure rather than allowing my frustration to get the best of me, but I received two things today at Landmark, a great life lesson in patience and humbleness and a great car service.Thank you.
My vehicle was recently serviced for routine maintenance which went smoothly and timely. Sean Kearney is great with keeping me on track with maintaining my car in great shape.
Salesman was great, manager was extremely unprofessional. My wife who is 38 weeks pregnant and I drove 2 hours for a car that a salesman was holding for us. In the middle of negotiating the price the manager sells the car mind you we had the keys and were in the middle of closing a deal. This manager was extremely young and inexperienced and does not deserve business from informed car buyers. Buyers beware .
At first was pretty easy but later the sales man forgot a bunch of documents we had to sig on. I had to make time to go twice there!!!Just the finance manager was ok.
I never had a worst experience in my life in a dealership. For them to just check my AC they took two hours and half and then they want it to charge me 400$ just to put cooling. I’m really disappointed, never seeing a business so unprofessional. I would recommend to stay away from this dealership.
One of the worst places to buy Vehicle form. I hey don’t have Customer service at all. Please don’t waste your time and avoid Sales girl Marisa.
It was our first time buying a car and cannot imagine a better experience than the one we had working with Marisa at Landmark Honda. We were wary of the stereotypical car salesman but Marisa was friendly, receptive, and honest at every step. She was upfront about what she could and couldnt do on price and options, about how the car we looked at compared to other cars and dealerships in the area. When we told her we were also interested in test driving a Toyota, she never pressured us in any way and told us she would give us our space and check back in with us in a few days. Ultimately, we decided on the Honda, getting 24% off of MSRP! Still being our first car, we were often confused about the paperwork and steps of purchasing a car but Marisa was always available by email and text to answer our questions. By the end it felt like we were buying a car from a friend who happened to sell cars.James, the finance director, was a pleasure to work with, too. He walked us through the add-on options like the extended warranty in a comprehensive way without being overbearing. Then, when we told him we needed time to think about them, he left it there and told us to just let him know when we made a decision.
Great experience. Took my car in today to the Service Department at Landmark Honda to check out a problem. Was worried they were going to give me the runaround and upsell me. Instead I got perfect treatment. Tim Godinho on the Blue Team looked over my car and told me I was fine. Yeah, I have a few things I’ll need to see to at my next tuneup, but nothing major, and nothing I need to do NOW. Then he even pulled out a diagram to explain what was going on underneath my car. His honesty literally saved me hundreds of dollars today. I am definitely going back to Tim and Landmark Honda for my next tuneup.
Just got into an argument with a SALES REP!! I purchased TWO vehicles--consecutively--from Landmark Honda that were ONLY dealer serviced for 20 years (combined) and neither car performed as well as expected (not to mention my final service experience involved my service manager trying to rip me off). The second one cost me thousands of dollars in only six years--the first $1,200 just weeks after buying it!Am currently researching getting another vehicle so looking at various deals online and came across their website. The sales rep just called and his response to my negative history with Landmark Honda was to literally argue with me?!?! To the point that I had to hang up on him?!There was a very remote chance I would have considered Landmark Honda for my next vehicle, but he just killed that. I will *NEVER* purchase another vehicle from Landmark Honda! He knows who he is so remove my phone number from your call list.
Sean Kearney on the service team has been serving our family for years and hes one of the main reasons we keep coming back. Sean is thoughtful, knowledgable, and helpful in every respect. Give that man a raise!
I price shopped on a new CR-V around the DMV. Sam was able to put me in one lower than anybody else, and well below MSRP. He even came in 5 hours early to close the deal to accomodate our schedule. He was top notch.I was also happy with the pricing I got on the service packages, etc. It was actually a pleasure buying a car, and I never thought I would say that.We have also been using the maintenance package and tire warranty here on my boyfriends civic, and have been happy with the service.
I will go there only for recalls now. I have had numerous bad experiences with this service center. The last straw was when I went in for a recall and they did a routine inspection. The first problem was that they wanted to charge almost $1,000 for transmission fluid and spark plugs. They were trying to make money off the recall. A few days later, the brakes got stuck on my car. According to the paperwork they gave me, my brakes were fine, however, it needed new brake pads, cleaned rotors, etc. when I went to Midas. Theres a reason why people call them stealerships.
My older Honda CRV broke down and I had it towed to Landmark because it was close and they were open. Everyone seemed really nice at first - I thought they were honest, but now I question if they are. They told me the part to fix my car would be $313.00, but they billed me $380.00 for the part. I was told that they reduced the labor cost because the part came in higher than they expected. If that were true, why didnt they tell me??Also, my car was not leaking coolant when it was brought it, but after they replaced the distributor they brought be back to show me that the return hose - located right next to the distributor that they just installed - is now leaking coolant....coincidence? I think not. They didnt even offer to fix it.Wont be back.
Sean and the Tan team have been taking care of my Hondas for years - (I still have my 2003 Honda Element - purchased in 2002 - one of the originals). He and my sales person are the main reason I purchased several vehicles at Landmark. I cannot speak to everyones sales experience at Landmark, financing etc... as there are some negative reviews. I am a happy camper. I can call Sean with questions and he takes the time to help me out and answer them. Totally satisfied with my most recent service.
I drove from Maryland to test drive and buy a Honda Accord. I am already approved for financing which they couldnt seem to figure out. I did the online purchase last weekend and they ran my credit with four companies. I go to test drive the car on 01/23/21 and it began unravelling. My car was under-appraised and then I brought up that my credit had been ran already and they had the look of deer in headlights. I thought by signing the credit app they were going to pull the applications that had been ran already. Nope they ran my credit again which gunshot my credit. They then come back and tell me I am not approved and that my current car is not paid. Yes oh yes it is, I make extra payments on the car. I wish I would have seen the reviews before I drove there. There is another review where someone mentions it takes an hour to get your car appraised. This is true and they shortchange you. I went in with the price being 20599 and somehow the car jumped to 25k and a few hundred bucks. Mind you the place is swarming with employees who are standing around in groups and talking while you are trying to make a major decision. I mean it is a freaking pandemic and the amount of people inside was baffling. DO NOT GO TO THIS BAIT AND SWITCH AND UNINTELLIGENT STAFFED BUSINESS!
Do not use this dealership, go to an Autozone instead. Landmark charged me $1000 for a muffler/Pipe B replacement, of which about 600 were for the parts and 400 was for 10 hours of labor. The same estimate from Autozone was less than half that for both.
I had an amazing car buying experience. They gave me honest answers to all of the questions I asked.
The maintenance department is pretty good. Sales is high pressure and not flexible however. I went across town and got a Toyota for my second vehicle. Still take my Honda here for service though.
They’re not responsible with important paperwork and will do anything to take more money away 🤦🏽♀️
Took vehicle in to have a recall addressed. Service department was professional and friendly. Would definitely go back in the future.
I just went to view the vehicles real time. Marisa had been helping me with inquiries via text/emails. She has been very patient with me because I wasnt sure what I wanted. When I arrived weeks later, Frank and Brandon were very pleasant and helpful as well.Frank, used car, Brandon new car salesperson.I didnt purchase a vehicle today, but at least I know now what I want.Thank you Honda of Landmark
We had a great experience buying a new car from Landmark Honda. Marisa Bell negotiated car prices with us through text (almost no other dealers did this), which was awesome. Then when we negotiated a price we were happy with, we went in to test drive and buy the car. After buying the car, we wanted to cancel the extended warranty contract, and Anum Omar in finance helped us actually switch the warranty to Honda (no extra charge) and figure out the best options for a Honda VSC. He has also kept us updated with titling/tags and other stuff. Overall positive experience.
The worst experience I have ever received. My salesman seemed drunk, all the other sales people seemed off like they we’re on something. My salesman “mark I believe” TERRIBLE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, he wasn’t listening to what I wanted, he was showing me cars that he wanted me to get. Completely unprofessional. The whole dealership should be closed down. It’s way too right in there I could barely walk around. DO NOT GO THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL!!!!
This is the worst dealership in the area and rude customer service do not explain about the vehicles, their main objective is to sell the car and get your money. do not go there to waist your money and time. I wish there is less than one star to give them
VERY VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCEJUST THE FACTS-November 19 car was serviced at dealership with tire rotation-Dealership DID NOT use a torque wrench with a gauge on it to tell the exact torque that was on each lug nut.-6 days later, November 24, the lug nuts or studs failed on my front tire while going 55 mph on the highway while my pregnant wife was driving and myself and my young daughter slept in the back seat.-Dealership and their insurance company both deny liability-they told me the torque stick rated to 80 FT. lbs. did the job properly-no other documents were provided to me showing the calibration of air pressure lines or impact driver-The repair shop who fixed my vehicle checked the lug nuts on the other tires said the lug nuts were not torqued to Honda spec-I was left having to pay my all of my expenses for transport, and cash deductible,In My opinion, you should not take your car there! too risky
Nice place to visit you may believe theyll over charge you but a lot of people believe that at all car dealerships
Downtown have the car I was looking for but the person I interacted with was professional.
Brad Elkins was very helpful. Service was quick and effortless.
Friendly and knowledgeable sales staff.
I was in the market for a new car. I found Landmark Honda through Truecar. I got he best price and best customer service in town. I was able to negotiate the price via email with William. Then when I arrived I was patiently shown the car by Get and allowed to test drive alone. I was then helped by Anum to sign the paperwork and make the payment. There were no aggressive sales people. I was explained everything in detail. They allowed me to patiently consider my purchase, they accomodated my requests. I was given plenty of time and attention. The experience was pleasant and I walked away happy with a new car. If you are looking for an honest, friendly, and professional dealership to purchase your next Honda then Landmark Honda is the best. Customer service and attention to my concerns was their top priority.
We had a great experience purchasing our pre-owned 2018 Accord EX-L last weekend at Landmark. Id read the negative reviews online so wasnt quite sure what to expect but went ahead and made the 2 hr drive there anyway due to them having the exact model/features that we were looking for. Im definitely glad we gave them a chance because we werent disappointed at all. Mohammad was our salesman and wed scheduled an appointment for noon on a Sunday. He arrived over 10 mins early and was friendly, helpful and personable. He wasnt pushy at all and was very patient and knowledgeable. We also learned it was his day off but hed came in for our appointment specifically and we appreciated that as well. For financing we dealt with Anum Omar and he was also very friendly, pleasant and personable. Again not pushy at all but very helpful and easy to deal with. Explained everything very well and helped us out alot with getting exactly what we wanted and nothing that we didnt. Overall great experience, we could not of been happier and we will definitely have them in mind and at the top of our list for any future purchases! Thanks to Landmark and a huge thank you to Mohammad and Anum, they represented your dealership extremely well and made a great impression on us!
Love going to Landmark! Jenna in service is the best!
I brought my Honda Accord with extended warranty into Landmark 8 months ago for service, and asked Sean on staff to have my car assessed for an issue with the battery, letting him know that the battery kept draining and that there appeared to be an underlying issue. The next day Sean called and told me they replaced the battery and that I needed new tires. I scratched my head in confusion, because it seemed they didnt fix the issue and wanted me to buy tires from them, in addition to paying for a new battery. Now, 8 months later, the new battery I payed for, that Sean swore was the issue, is now drained and at 0% health. As I worked with one of their managers named Charles, who does not allow you to get a word in, he told me I needed to authorize payment of $315 to diagnosis the issue at 2 hour increments until they could figure out what was causing the battery to drain. So I asked, at what point would I have to stop paying $315 for every additional 2 hours of work until they could figure out the problem. Charles responded by letting me know he couldnt determine how long it will take and that payments would go on as long as it took to diagnosis the issue or until I stopped authorizing additional 2 hour payments to diagnose the issue. It all sounded very shady and costly, especially since there was no end specified by Charles as to how many hours it would take to figure out the issue. I explained the experience and issue to Larry the director of not addressing the problem 8 months ago, the proposed endless costs of diagnosing the problem this time around, and overall trust dilemma with his staff. Larry told me to pick up my car and that I should find somewhere else that I trust to get my car fixed. This Honda dealership is not only unprofessional, but completely untrustworthy. One thing you are forbidden to do is question their methods or costs. Bottom line is, that unless you want to be scammed, Id go to Sheehy Honda or just about anywhere else. Look at their reviews, I didnt, and look where it got me. Just a friendly consumer warning to others who care about customer service.
Landmark Honda has been the worst experience ever. Really deserves no stars. My car has been at landmark Honda now for 9 days and I have yet to receive any status update on my vehicle. Each time I call someone says either the person is not present or they pass me off to someone else. I originally took it in to be looked at because of an issue related to repairs conducted by them a while back. I asked for a quote as well. Ive been waiting 9 days and have not received a quote (please note I have not had my vehicle because they have it for 9 days!!!) The assistant service manager Richard Scherff could not help me and said he didnt know what to do. That demonstrates great negligence and incompetence in their personnel. I asked to speak to next person higher up that could help and he referred me to a different department. That department was the wrong one to be referred to. I know this because I called corporate Honda and they said I should speak to the manager of Services not the other department!!! The services manager is Richard Scherffs boss and Richard could not properly elevate the issue and does not have the skills to triage issues. Honestly, there are many dealerships and at all costs avoid this one. Every time I walk in there someone is complaining because of the horrible service. Please if you have had a horrible experience report it on through Better Bussiness Bureau. This is unacceptable.
I called 3 times and each time the receptionist hung up on me after answering the call. Terrible customer service.
Find another Honda dealership…there are lots of them in the area
Horrible experience with sales department! I found an advertised price of $20,599 on Car Gurus. Mark Davis, a sales consultant verified the price of a new 2020 Accord at $20,599 that was marked down from $27,935. I live in South Carolina and was willing to travel to Arlington to get the car. He told me he had people from other states coming to take advantage of this deal. I tried to have him set up the deal and give us paperwork to sign. He was very flippant and unorganized with many phone calls back and forth for days. On January 2nd he called and was ready to close the deal and the price changed to $22,500. I asked what happened to the $20,599 price and he said things change. This is a BAIT AND SWITCH dealership! Stay away! Dishonest and live up to the name of a crooked dishonest car dealership! Never trust a car salesman!
We needed to buy a new car and we had fast and great customer service with Mohammad! Would definitely recommend buying a car from here.
AFRICAN SCAMMERS!!! DO NOT BUY CAR FROM THIS PLACE!!!! THEY DELIBERATELY SOLD ME A CAR WITH A BAD ENGINE!!!
Most unprofessional & crooked dealership EVER !On 01/01/21 boyfriend and I came from NC to purchase a new 2020 Honda Accord sport advertised at 20,599 . To keep the car buying process short & simple I did my loan through my local Credit Union. Before we drove to VA I was initially working with a sale agent by the name of SAM. Before applying for a loan through my credit Union I asked Sam to give me a TOTAL price with everything included meaning ( taxes,title/registration, wheel protection and etc ) Sam advise me of a price around 23k something. So I said okay & went and applied for a car loan up to a certain amount. I called Landmark Honda right back after my approval from the credit Union to set up my appointment for Friday 01/01/21 with Sam. ( For hrs Sam NEVER returned our call after many many voicemail and etc. So then another sale agent by the name of Mark Davis reached out. I advised Mark of everything and who I was working with for my future purchase of the vehicle. Mark went over everything and also re-verified the total price that Sam provided to me and stated everything was good to go. Couple mins after that call the finance manager called me and advise that the actual price was actually 26k something. Now this is when I asked for the Manager Tim & advised him of everything that had been done. Long story short Tim & the finance manager then advise me that Sam forgot to include title& registration in the fee & wheel protection. They then proceeded to settle me a price of 25k something. I accepted knowing I shouldn’t have but I had already sold my old car that same day.The day before I arrived I was advise from Tim ( the manager ) that he would find another sale agent for me to work with being I no longer wanted to work with Sam or Mark after the confusion that went on about the pricing of the vehicle. On my way to the dealership Tim texted me and stated Mark Davis was going to be my sales agent even after the fact that he just advise me the day before I would not be working with him. When we arrived we waited on Mark for about 15 minutes. When we finally sat down it was clear as day this man did NOT HAVE A CLUE WHAT HE WAS DOING & he was also going off the wrong buyer order.Annoyed at this point my boyfriend asked Mark what was the confusion and how long would this process take. Mark rudely told my boyfriend he could leave and go back to Raleigh while I finished paper work signing. ( mind you my boyfriend and I drove a rental to VA together ) The question is why would MARK even tell my significant other to leave me by myself knowing we stay 4 hrs away. ( of course my boyfriend stayed )Now fast fwd to today 01/27/21 I got a email from Mark stating I need to go online and get my tags.I called Mark and asked why did I need to go online and REQUEST for my tags to be mailed to me when TIM and the finance manager advise me that my tags would be sent directly to my HOME address.Once again Mark made a smart comment and then proceed to place me on HOLD . After waiting on hold mark said I will give you a call back. I asked Mark why does he need to call me back and what is going on about my tags? Mark then got mad and stated he will give me a call back and then disconnected the phone as I asked him questions .I writing this review to advise any potential buyers to stay the hell away from Landmark Honda. They are rude, slow, scammers and ALL OF THE ABOVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bad Customer service. I bought 2020 Honda Civic then issue within few months. There is noise comes from the hub cup and they told me its manufacturers issue....they said they cant do nothing about it.
I would not shop from this dealership. Although they have a great selection of vehicles, this dealership is filled with lying salesmen. I purchased a used vehicle from them after being GUARANTEED a warranty and told that if it were to fail MD state inspection, for whatever reason, that it was 100% the dealerships responsibility and the costs would be covered. Without exaggerating, the salesman said the car was PERFECT and would pass inspection no problem, and if it didn’t, all costs would be covered by then a minimum of 10 times over the day. However, after failing inspection due to both rear shocks being blown, they went back on their word and were only willing to return up to $200 for nearly $400 worth of work. These people do not care about their customers and will lie to you so that they can sell cars. Other than that, the carelessness towards social distancing and safety was appalling, and there was a complete lack of transparency. They did not want us to know the truth behind the used vehicle we purchased. damaged quarter panels, severe paint scratches, etc was “just cosmetic” and not their issue. They wanted us to buy the car exactly as is for what they charged or get out. I would stay far away.
Bought 2018 pre owned CRV 24500 miles in August, within 24 hours from taken it from the dealer the battery is die, I called the dealer and told them how would u let a car leave ur shop without inspect it, they change the battery and I swallowed the complain, (mistake it happen sometimes), in February I brought the car back for a maintenance and change oil, I was hearing a noise comes from the heat when I turned to maximum, the car is 28300 miles in February still under a factory Waranty, the gentleman at the customer service treat me well, when the technician was checking the noise from the heat, found the cabinet filter was ripped and a piece of hard plastic was broken, make a story short., the gentlemen come back to me and said that this could be a rat get into the car and destroy the hard plastic and the filter, and said that this is the auto insurance responsibility, I asked did u see any sign or a drop that made u sure that it’s a rat they said no, by the way I parked 2 others cars in the same spot where I park the CRV within 3 years and don’t have any issues, at the end this was the first time and last time in my life buying a honda .the car still under a factory waranty hello don’t blame it on the auto.
During my emissions inspection it appeared I was missing my 2004 Honda Accord radiator cap. I immediately drove over to Landmark Honda. Upon inspection, the parts department gentleman noticed it wouldn’t fit, as I gave him incorrect data on my car type. However, he called around to find me the correct cap to put on my car immediately. Thank you so much for your great customer service. I will be coming back whenever I need help from Honda.
I purchased my minivan in 2018 from landmark Honda and have always returned for routine service & maintenance. Despite making appointments for these services they are typically later than the time described. Today despite my appointment my oil change took over 2 hours. I will no longer return to this dealer.
I had a terrible experience with Landmark Honda. For those of you looking to buy a vehicle especially if youre a woman this is definitely not the place for you. I understand they earn majority of their money through commission which is why they will do anything to get it. When purchasing car parts make sure you look at your options online first see how much it will cost you before going to them because theyre literally after your money. One of the sales person who helped me out was Nabiu.I suggest you dont go to him and I suggest you go to a different place. Landmark Honda is a dealership filled with lying salesmen.I hope this helps someone so they dont have to go through the bad experience like I did.
This is my second time taking my vehicle to the Honda service center. I cannot say enough positive things about my service rep Jay. I appreciate and recognize excellent customer service. I needed a lot of maintenance on my vehicle and Jay was great about explaining the services that needed immediate attention and the ones that could wait. I have been to other Honda service departments that left me feeling disappointed. I trust Jay to find me discounts when possible and be completely transparent with pricing.
The air condition system does not work.it was recalled .I asked them to fix it.they denied.
Quick friendly service.
Everyone here is great, very kind and well informed. The pricing is more than most places for a simple tire rotation and oil change. Check in for servicing is not the best at social distancing right now but the waiting area was great.
Depends on who you meet when you get there. Some folks are nice while others try to sell you the world going in for a simple oil change.
Bad customer service and I will never go to back honda again this is the second time happend to me.
Will lie about the services your vehicle actually needs to make more money. Look in your owners manual to decide or get a second opinion. They are lying to get you to say yes to services you dont need to make extra money. Very dishonest. Will pressure you into saying yes by asking up to 10 times or more.
Done properly. They gave me a complimentary State inspection
I went to get a oil change and the stuff did great and they did it quickly . I had great service with them there are nice 👍
When I took it in for a recall part change, they said the car needed nearly $1000 worth of maintenance work including that my transmission fluid was “black.” I told them no and took it to a local mechanic who looked at all the issues landmark claimed my car had - and he said almost all of it was fine, including the transmission fluid - and I paid about $180 to fix everything. You hear about dishonest mechanics - these guys are dishonest mechanics.
We pulled into the dealership in our Honda and went inside to check out different Civic trims to try and get a better idea for our next vehicle. The associate was very unhelpful, seemed unwilling to answer the questions I was asking about the different trim levels and after requesting to see the interior of a Civic he skirted around it by saying that we are not buying and didnt see the point in seeing the interior. We just left after this exchange and taking our business to another dealership. I do not recommend doing business based on this interaction and the overall atmosphere of the dealership.
Car salesman was quite unprofessional and rude. I came in to see a certain car and let him know in advance, but the car was not even at the dealership until someone brought it back almost an hour later. Salesman raised his voice at me when I asked a question, and he told me I was wasting his time. I understand that time is money for these people, but dont make the customer feel bad for asking questions and being there. Will definitely not be buying my car from here.
****SERVICE DEPARTMENT SCAM****This service department of landmark Honda is actively scamming people by telling them that their 2019-2020 Accords need oil changed every 5000 miles when in fact it the actual schedule maintenance oil change is one year or when the Change Oil Light comes on..... whichever one comes first. If you have a newer model Honda Accord please do not be scammed by this dealership because they are making money off of you.
I have not visited this location but they were pretty rude to me over the phone. I was interested in a very specific car model they had, but I live out of state. I asked if it was possible for them to trade the car with a dealership in my state so I could test drive the car before purchasing. They said ‘what would I get out of that?’ Which just seemed really unprofessional to me. I thought Honda dealerships worked with one another to sell cars but not this place! Just based on my conversation over the phone I will be taking my business to a different Honda dealership that can provide good customer service, and not a ‘what do I get?’ attitude like this place.
I dont have experience purchasing a vehicle with Landmark Honda but I do have several experiences working with their service department and let me tell you, everyone there is pretty awesome. One person in particular, Jenna Marvel, is phenomenal. Ive had to get several issues fixed on my Honda to include scheduled maintenance, wear and tear repair, warranty fix, and emission/safety inspection. Every visit she is on top of things and lets me know exactly whats going on. On my last visit, she recognized me, knew my name, and got things going before I even set foot in the service area (and no, its not because I spend enough money there to send the service department staff through college). When all was said and done, she worked her magic on the bill to ensure she got me the right service UNDER what I was expecting to pay...thats something rare when someone goes out of their way to save you money, but that is just a testament to the kind of care and attention Ive come to expect from this Honda dealership. I highly recommend coming here for all your Honda (and non Honda) repair needs!
Wasn’t looking to purchase a vehicle when I brought my SUV in for service, but within a few hours I walked out with a brand new car. Mark Davis was my guide to a new car. He educated me, took my sister-in-law and I on several test drives, was patient and the overall best car salesperson I’ve worked with. The finance professional was awesome and With her help I received a much lower interest rate along with a low monthly payment. I wholeheartedly recommend this dealership. They look out for you and are not driven by the buck. They honestly help.
I drive all the way from Tysons Corner which is 30 minutes out of the way to get my car serviced at this specific Landmark Honda for a few reasons:1. They prioritize covid safety - cars are dropped off outside (they have an outdoor layout) and staff will meet you outside to service your car if you dont want to come inside. Staff wears masks, keep the 6ft+ distance, place plastic covers in the interior, and sanitize car door handles and inside with spray after service. I greatly appreciate how thoughtful they are with sanitation. When I went to Tysons, you had to drop off your car inside a garage with poor ventilation and team members were not maintaining social distance whatsoever.2. Outstanding Customer Experience - Jenna Marvel, Al, and team have all helped me make appointments and are very accommodating. Every staff member I have encountered is super polite and aim to give you a smooth experience. I also appreciate how thoughtful they are with their customers. For example, Jenna brought all paperwork outside and brought me extra antibacterial wipes because she knew I had a baby.3. Service quality and speed - I dont feel like they nickle and dime me and they provide accurate time estimates for servicing such as oil changes, etc.
I have purchased two cars from here. The service department experience has been awesome. I always take my cars back to the dealership for service maintenance. They really care about customer service. The experience has been outstanding for me.
Absolutely love this place! Only place I will take my car to be worked on. The services Dept is amazing and love the parts too! Services and parts will really take care of you! Can’t say enough good things about Landmark!!
Terrible customer service, the people that work there don’t know anything about how cars work and tell you inaccurate information. You have to keep telling them what work you want done, because they don’t communicate. Any work you get done make sure to double check the work. Very disappointed!
Terrible customer service from the GM. Purchase your car elsewhere where they can provide adaquate details on maintenance packages and so forth. They drag their feet here, and have no concern for their customers. Stay away.
Dropped off a 2016 civic with scheduled appt. for its 2nd oil change, rotate and 3rd brake light cover recall. Never offered alternative transport home. Shuttle or loaner car. Never was told it needed to be dropped off for the recall Had to uber home. Got the car back. 3rd brake light cover on rear seat, and tape on rear glass.
Not giving people their permanent tags or new temp tags is a no no.
Me and my fiancé just bought a car there! Best experience ever, they work with us, they answered all our question very professional, very patient and i will recommend to ask for frank and Jackie, but honestly everyone was helpful, the best customer service.
They were not helpful in the slightest bit. They also sold us a battery that went bad within two months of buying it.As for transparency. There is none they will beat around the bush because they want your money and you out of there as fast as they can without fixing the problems with your car. So please pass on this dealership even if you want a car. No more money should be going towards people like this.
We’ve been customers at Landmark Honda for years and the experience has been excellent every time. Our last sales consultant was Doralis Francis. She was very patient with all of our questions and the beat part is she did not pressure us into purchase our brand new Civic 2020. Best in my experience! Thanks!
