No need to call in for the price of the price of the Type R Civic. They’re selling it for $37,500 over sticker price. Meaning your out the door is $83,085 pre- taxes. There’s a chip shortage, inflation, color but those factors including the limited amount made doesn’t account for $37,500 worth of markup but do as you wish as a consumer. Car is not worth $83k+ after taxes. They’re essentially making their addendum 85% of the cars’ original price (which already comes into the dealership lot with adjusted MSRP to bring them in some profit.) I understand as a former car salesman why there’s an addendum but 37.5k is absurd and you guys know it. Stop playing with people

The sales experience was good, however, the follow up at the service was not helpful. A couple days after I purchased the car, there was a rattling sound in the car. I called Sheehy Honda and they said to bring it in and they would provide shuttle service back to my home. When I got there, they neither provided shuttle service nor addressed the rattling sound in my car. I waited for 2 hours and took the car to another dealership to be fixed.
A large concern to me was settled in 5 minutes.The employees were courteous and helpful. I can solve my own problem if it happens again. I had made an error in my initial rating. I was very satisfied with the service and information received. 5 star rating! I apologize to the staff.
Very pleased with my experience at Sheehy. Did the initial contact via internet, responses were quick and to the point. Chose to go to the lot and drove the car I was interested in. We worked out a deal however I found an issue with the car. The car was repaired and delivered to my home at no charge.(I live 2 hrs away) It was a pleasure doing business with them. I saw that Odyssey 2019 on their website. I called the sales on Sunday morning. Abdullah replied to me. He was a very pleasant character. He said hell prepare the car for the test drive on the same day for me if I want to. I visited them. I tested the car, The car was very clean and the attitude was very professional and nice at the same time. Mark Clarke from the Accounting was also helpful. He was able to contact banks in a late time and get the best rate and finish the paper work in a very convenient time. I would definitely recommend dealing with those guys. Even when I found that the car has no User Guide/Manual booklets, they sent later via Fedex.Arki
We visited specifically to see the lower end CRVs available in new vehicles that are 21s. Were told there arent many or maybe there might be. Inventory is low on all CRVs. Would you like to place a deposit on one incoming to have a chance to buy it? Sight unseen? Oh - theres a problem making new cars now -- the micro chips needed arent being made as needed so cars cant get made as fast as needed.All that comes down to this: most dealerships are adding a market markup of anywhere from $3,000 to $15,000 after all the other markups they add in anyway. What a joke. It comes down to market supply/demand. We have a good honda! We just wanted an update. We can wait. If you can wait you should.
Would not recommend this dealership. Very unprofessional. Extremely rude and always backed up. Have had ample unpleasant experiences here but gave them the benefit of the doubt by returning. Only to be proved correct when less than 24 hours later I found myself back for something that was supposedly fixed the day prior. Perhaps if you own a Honda they are more professional and cooperative, however if you have a make and model other than Honda best of luck. I went to Sheehy Honda after visiting several other dealerships in both Maryland and Virginia. I did a lot of research online before calling to see the vehicle I want to purchase. When I called I spoke to Nasser who told me that he would make sure the car was there and ready for me to see when I arrived. He was pleasant and helpful and worked hard to make me a deal that fit in my budget. I also worked with Kesha, who helped me set up for financing and move my tags and handle all the logistics of getting me out the door. She was helpful and patient and super nice. Rita then helped me with financing. I came in with a pre-approval from my bank, but she was able to get me even better rate through Honda finance. They also took extra time to make sure that my new car was super clean before I drove it off the lot. I will definitely be back with my next purchase!

I came from 2hrs away to see a car on the lot and trade in my vehicle. My process started over the phone with Roxy who was also part of my very last step of filling up my new vehicle with gas. Abdullah was my next associate that helped me once I arrived that evening and helped me get my trade-in valued and test drive with the car I wanted. He also helped with all my paperwork and listened to my needs. Sia was next in my paperwork process and we negotiated back n forth for a few. He took into account that I had traveled to get there and worked hard to get me in at my price point. In the end I was able to get in the vehicle I wanted for a good price and was given very fair value for my trade in. I usually go to the Arlington browns Honda’s or the Honda in Dulles (auto nation), both places are great and it’s all about the customer service. I called Sheehy Honda as it’s closer to me and thought I would get the same service, trying to get an advisor on the phone was tough and even tougher trying to make an appointment. Advisor was plain rude. Ended up going back to Honda in Dulles. Glad I did.
So far every time Ive taken my car here, Ive been met with great service. It never takes long for me to talk to someone and everyone is friendly. Havent experienced any of the sketchy stuff dealerships are associated with. As long as the service is this good, Ill keep bringing my car back.

Embarrassing.I don’t understand what’s going on at this dealership. I have purchased here in the past and quite a few of my family members and friends have also. When my roommate sold her car to them recently it took them over 5 days to give her a check. She had come in multiple times and had been very understanding and didn’t want to cause a scene because she also works in customer service. She’s way better than I am. I’m still a little lost on why they couldn’t just write a check? They used the two classic excuses. They are not here & they are in a meeting. They also tried to give an excuse that the accountant had quit. (Well the accountant was there 5 days ago soooo? How long was that meeting) Not until she got extremely upset on the show room floor did a check magically appear on day 5. It took three visits and a bunch of disappointing phone calls and a customer getting loud for something to happen. The only reason she did raise her tone is because they tried yet again in the fifth day to say they didn’t have a check. Not one person could provide a straight answer in those five days. Extremely embarrassing. I’ve worked in customer service my entire life and I hate to write this publicly and to be forever labeled as a “Karen”. Especially since this isn’t even my story to tell. All I can say is make sure they give you a check on the same day you sell them your car. They are currently advertising that they will pay you cash for your car. Maybe some customer service training would do the staff some good. Because when a customer asks you a question and all you’ve got is ummmm. Doesn’t look so great. My roommate and myself spoke to multiple employees and mostly everyone had a rude tone and played dumb. The jokes on them. I had planned on trading in my car for a 2021 Honda Accord Touring. Will make sure not to recommend anyone to purchase from any Sheehy location.They will delete this review. 8/18/2021
Price gauging. $1,750 just for labor for 1.5 hrs to fix the front axle seals and water pump. When I called to discuss this, my family and I were treated with such disrespect from the service manager, Vijay Krishna, who also lied about me wanting the service expedited. It was my day off and I had all day—I didn’t request anything whatsoever to be expedited. I can’t speak for the sales the department, but please please please spare yourself the heartache with the service department and go somewhere else.
We needed to buy a new SUV and after having a 2012 we updated to another Honda Odyssey. The 2022 has much better steering, smoother ride, comfortable seats that are able to be heated. Not one thing bad can I say about it so far. Our salesman Mr. Nassar was personable, helpful and took care of all that was needed for us to take our new car home . Mr . Nassar was efficient and knowledgeable. Thank you for making our buying process so easy.

After waiting 6 months for the failed ABS module to come in - Honda is finally legal again. My Inspection went in June 2021.My service advisor, Steve Hubbard, did a stellar job of keeping me informed and in the loop on something way outside his control.Thanks Steve for all your email replies - and for calling me when you knew for sure that part was on site.Compared to that other Honda dealer in Fairfax - who ripped me off on a brake issue to the tune of $1700 when the issue was related to the failed ABS module - Sheehy is the way to go.Thank you!

One of the worst experiences I have had with a dealership. I was basically lied to multiple times and then told at the last second that the deal offered was incorrect and that they couldn’t find the sales persons paperwork. They even tried to tell me that the deal I was trying to get wasn’t offered at their dealership even though I received a direct email from them. This was after I had taken off of work and commuted an hour. I understand that the market strongly favors the seller but they have taken it to a whole other level. Don’t go here if you want a fair deal on a car.

The transmission died on my old car. At Sheehy, I replaced that car with a new one with no problem. I went out to the new car lot, pointed out the 2021 Accord I wanted, and drove off the lot 60 minutes later. It has been 7 years since my last Honda, and I needed suspension work on my newly acquired used Honda Civic Si (EP3). I am a Realtor, and I work the entire region (District, Maryland, and Virginia). Being without my car is - horrific - in my profession. Richard Cho and a technician worked hard on the evening of an incoming holiday weekend to get me back on the road and meeting my clients. I have purchased four cars from this dealership. Purchased VIP service for my daughters. They love it.
We arrived at appointed time for basic service. Told it would take 2.5 hours. Car wasnt touched for 2.5 hours. So half hour service took almost 4 hours. Then tech didnt put two lug nut keys back in car. I had to leave work and went back to get them.

I came here to get my TPMS light turned off today. That’s it.The Sheehy near my home accidentally broke the TPMS system while mounting a new right rear tire and was honest with me about it so I wasn’t even mad. Matter of fact they kindly replaced the system for free and kindly advised me to visit Sheehy Honda to reset the light since there was no way to reset it manually. I own a 2013 Honda Civic and trust me when I say that there was NO WAY to reset it manually as I have tried to find a way as well prior. However when my father came to the shop, he was told by Stephen Hubbard that it would cost 175 because it had to be re-programmed and that made zero sense since Sheehy Ford of Springfield already replaced the TPMS system and taken care of it. Sheehy has always been able to pull up records so there was absolutely no reason why 175 needed to be quoted.Needless to say I am taking my vehicle to Sheehy Ford near my home who are going to reset my TPMS light (literally that was the only thing needed to be done) without a cost. They’re even going out of their way to get the material needed to do so which is incredibly kind.I’ve never had a problem with Sheehy Honda. I have two vehicles from the dealership itself and am truly disappointed with their recent service and lack of honesty. I never take the time to write reviews but working in customer service for 5 years and working in the hospitality industry, I can honestly say that you should tread with caution at this dealership.I understand that we are in a pandemic and one of the hardest struggles is financially however attempting to get money from customers for jobs that do not need to actually be done is unnecessary. We are all struggling in one way or another. Be honest and kind and compassionate with your customers.

I do not recommend this dealership. They are disorganized and have poor customer service. Sharing my experience below.I purchased a vehicle here on a Saturday evening in May. At the time I opted for the extended warranty and sheehy lifetime membership (which they said I could cancel at any time). By Monday morning I had more time to think and opted to cancel those two things. Despite having been less than 48 hours since my purchase I was advised I’d have to wait 8-12 weeks for the cancellation to go through. In my opinion they simply didn’t want to potentially fill out the extra paperwork or go through the extra trouble of just voiding it (I mean - I was still within the period of time I could have just returned the car. So how hard could it have been to just void.) Anyway, here we are 13+ weeks after and nothing has been done. The person in their finance department I worked with has left, and I simply cannot get someone else to respond. I keep getting transferred to either voicemails or people will legit pick up and continue their side conversation so I’m in the phone listening to them and yelling “hello?? Hello?” Without any response.Another issue I had: the temporary tags that last a month were about to expire and I hadn’t gotten any update about the DC registration, so they told me to come pick up another set of temporary ones. I do that and weeks go by and no news on the status of my DC registration. I eventually wrote to them again asking, and they respond they have them and had allegedly tried to email me. I can tell you with all certainty I did not receive any email from them letting me know these were el ready, but do have other emails from when they needed info from me to process. So no, I do not believe they contacted me. I think they forgot. The funniest part (because I have to laugh at this point) is that once I pick it up and saw the expiration for the DC tags, I’m pretty confident these were prob ready when I picked up the second temporary tag at their location and it was a miscommunication on their end between their employees.Point of this story is that unless you never need to follow up with them, you’re likely to have a great experience, but god forbid you need anything (which with these type of purchases, you usually do even if it’s the DC/VA registration), they will he a nightmare to deal with.Fingers crossed that I can get the extended warranty cancellation processed while it’s still 2021 🤣
Sales Consultant Shi’Kesha Small was wonderful in getting me a great deal on my new vehicle. She was pleasant, promptly addressed my concerns, and answered my questions throughout the entire leasing process, as well as demonstrating the features of the vehicle once I had signed. Finance Manager Edison Van Vlimmeren was also instrumental in making the leasing process painless. He made sure I had the protection for my vehicle with a monthly payment I was comfortable with. Anyone in the market for a new Honda would do well visiting Sheehy Honda Alexandria.
Negotiating with them is a hassle. Im trying to negotiate my out-the-door price for a 2021 Honda Accord from them. A sales general manager came and only offered a $150-$200 discount. Like how is that a deal? Also, many kept mentioning the chip shortages. I understand the issue, but it is not a permanent issue since the 2022 Accord will most likely be announced this Fall 2021 which means Honda will start focusing on producing the new 2022 models and the 2021 Accords will need to be gone from the lot by the end of the year. Plus their oil change, inspection, maintenance program makes you pay upfront for their VIP membership to get a discount. I would rather shop at Bill Page Honda since they offer free oil change for the 1st year of purchasing a vehicle or 3 oil change visits whichever comes first, lifetime state inspection, free car wash for every service visit, and free loaner vehicle for major services.
Avoid this dealership, and specifically the service department. We live in midwest and our 20 year old son is doing a summer college internship in Washington DC. The starter went out on our 2014 Honda Accord. Had it towed there. We were charged $1486 for the repair. Other Virginia dealers quoted us $850 or less. Got quotes from 2 Honda dealers here in Wisconsin: $653 and $700. Apples to Apples repair. Just the starter. Also told my son water pump leaking and recommended replacement at an additional $1200. I was suspect of the water pump after hearing the inflated starter price. Told him to fix the starter, as he needed the car desperately to fulfill the terms of his internship.Three days later I had it taken to and looked at by someone who has worked in a GM shop near my sons apartment for 25+ years. Water pump is not leaking or even showing moisture.Contacted the dealer about the inflated starter repair and lying service department. Was told water pump was not in fact leaking, they were recommending replacement due to mileage (113,000). I have owned alot of cars in my 53 years and never ever have had a dealership want to arbitrarily replace a water pump. Thats the spin or damage control attempt going on here when caught red handed. The service writer told my son it was leaking. Repair order/estimate we have in hand says its leaking. When I confront them after being looked at by someone else, now concede it was not leaking.They saw a naive college kid, 1000 miles from home and saw $$$$$$. Unfortunately they didnt realize dad would call them out on it. Complaint sent to American Honda Motor Corp as well as Virginia Attorney General Consumer Complaint people.I was also told by the Dealer Partner I spoke with if he found anyone in this situation was lying, they would be fired on the spot. How clearer does it need to be? I bet not only are those involved probably still working there, theyve probably been promoted.
I had a great car buying experience at Sheehy Honda. Car was posted on cars.com and as soon as i contacted them i got a response. Abdullah my salesman was excellent he was very dedicated to making sure i was satisfied by leading me through every step of the process and he responded immediately if I had a question. The day i came to get the car was his day off but he was there to make sure i was taken care of. Mark in finance was great also. I had my own financing but he got me a better deal. I love, love, love the car. More importantly, the customer service that I received from Ayla, Rita, and Kevin was incredible. They made the car buying purchase a pleasure, and theres no doubt that when Im ready for my next car in 2029, Ill be heading back to Sheehy Honda!

Contacted Sheehy Honda of Alexandria over a month ago regarding a recall on my vehicle. During that call, the service dept ordered the recall parts, but failed to contact me after a 2 week period. I reached out to Sheehy to see if the recall parts were in, and was told they were never ordered. During that call, I was told the car had to be brought in to be inspected to determine if recall parts were necessary for the recall issue. Scheduled an appt with service dept to inspect the recall issue. Upon check-in, was told by the service tech that they do not do an inspection for this recall, that the parts had to be ordered and replaced. This was Friday, July 30, 2021. The service tech told me he was ordering the recall parts that day, and that they would be in the following Tuesday or Weds at the latest. I was not contacted that following Tuesday or Weds. On Friday, Aug 6, I left a voicemail with the Sheehy service manager asking for a status on the recall parts that were supposedly ordered on July 30. No response as of today, Aug 11.I reached out to Honda Customer Service 800 line, and a case manager is being assigned to find out why Sheehy doesnt seem to have their act together regarding my vehicle and the recall.Below is the recall description and remedy for which Sheehy Honda has failed to satisfactory remediate.Description:American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Honda) is recalling certain 2019 model year Civic Coupe, 2019 model year Civic Sedan, and 2019 - 2020 model year Civic Hatchback vehicles that may be equipped with a fuel pump module manufactured with low density impellers. Over time, low density impellers may excessively absorb fuel and deform. Impeller deformation may cause the fuel pump to become inoperative.Fuel pump inoperability could prevent an engine from starting or stall an engine while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.Remedy:Please call any authorized Honda dealer and make an appointment to have the fuel pump assembly replaced for free.
I highly recommend Sheehy Honda of Alexandria. This is my third vehicle purchased from Sheehy. Our salesman, Moayad Baba was very thorough and worked tirelessly to find us the right vehicle (I had a lot of criteria and expectations). Mark in finance, made the actual purchase seamless.
We beat any appraisal is a little bit of an * because I went in with a carmax quote (that honestly I knew was nonsense) and they wouldnt beat it. But they still gave me a good price and got me on my way in about an hour, which is pretty good as car sales go.
Yesterday between 8a and 915a tried calling service department to get work done on my Accord that was out of service. No one answered in service department. Rang forever then initial dealership greeting kicked back in. Tried at least 4 times. Then opted for the chat option on their home page. Provided my name, number and email and was told service department would contact me ASAP. Still waiting for that call, over a day later. My business went elsewhere. Couldnt afford additional down time with my car waiting for a call/email that never came.
We have bought 3 cars from sheehy and every time it has been a great experience. This most recent time the Sheehy staff went out of their way to help me with my purchase. The purchase process was simple and during the pandemic I appreciated the ability to be able to email questions about the purchase. Emails were quickly responded to and answered our questions in the first response.I highly recommend Sheehy Honda for all of your Honda needs.
Rigo was the best salesperson I’ve met. He greeted us right away. He took his time to make sure we knew what we were getting ourselves into. He made sure we understood the process He is very polite and experience. I will recommend anyone to see him for a new or used car. I will let my family, friends, everyone I encounter to see him. Let me say the salesman I talked with was great. The issue was when we put together a deal and he sent it to his sales manager for the appraisal . The market is crazy right now. I had two other dealerships offer me almost what I paid for my ranger. I explained I wanted at least what the other offers where. The salesman explained the manager would contact me later by phone or email. He was busy etc. No problem. I was looking at other hybrids either a Camry, fusion or a honda insight. after waiting almost 2 days for no return call . not even a call saying they couldnt make the deal. Mind you this wasnt even about financing yet, this only to agree on the price. I already had financing in place. I went ahead with the fusion, not only did I get a great deal, ford even gave me another 1k loyal customer so I got 6k off the fusion. Honestly I would off purchased the honda if they would of even bother to call me back. Dont

After 20+ years of owning/leasing many autos, when we need a new car, we go to Sheehy Honda. Easily the most professional dealership in our experience ... and the fewest hassles. Negotiating a reasonable deal is my expectation and Sheehy came through again last week. Our favorite sales rep is Masud Islam. He knows the vehicles inside and out, and always willing to work with us to get a fair price. Does the same with other customers, too. The finance manager, Rita, was great as well — personable and professional. Answered each question candidly which we appreciated. For the second deal in a row, Dean Schuyler (manager) approved it quickly, saving us time and money. While not the closest, we always use Sheehy Honda’s service department. Reliable and reasonable. Lisa and the others excel at communicating so you know exactly when the car is ready.And, how often do you see an actual owner at one of their dealerships? Kathleen Sheehy is the GM and on site. That shows a good connection to their customers. Thanks, Masud et al., see you when we need a new ride!

It was a GREAT Day at Sheehy. I drove my 8 year-old Odyssey(Sheehy purchased & maintained) in for VIP Service at 9:30am where I was greeted by Rachel Higgins. To wait for servicing, l moved into the Sales Area as I was interested in seeing the 2021 Odysseys and Pilots. There I encountered Baba & Kevin both of whom had all the answers I needed to initiate and complete the purchase of our new 2021 Honda Pilot. I drove home with the Pilot, mission complete, at 2:30pm. It was a GREAT Day at Sheehy !

Every sales person treated me like they were too good and busy to deal with me. The sales guy legitimately just quit talking to me mid conversation. I was being judged for asking for information. I will never buy from these guys ever!!

I normally hate the process of buying a new car. This time due to the pandemic, I wanted to pick the car and dealership before I make an effort to go to the location. I am so happy Roxy was the one that responded to my inquiry. She was very upfront with the price. Eventhough I found another one who offered slightly cheaper price, because of her attitude, I chose to go with her. Car buying can be stressful and it was nice to have someone who is not rude or pushy and willing to stay beyond normal hours to do business.
