Employees and nice, courteous, and helpful when I am looking for a specific product.

Was a quick and easy in and out. Had a nice conversation on top of it all too. I was able to find what I needed and at a good price too.

I love the Downtown Liquor Store, because its close to where I live, and also they have a great selections ofbeers, wines and liquors... Most of allI know everyone that works there.. And they are all good people.. The Plaza Store too.

Manager (Andy) was rude and reactive to a minor misunderstanding. Clearly on some kind of power trip. If you need help, or make an honest mistake, be sure to avoid him. Customer service is lacking, and basic human compassion is seemingly absent here. I am extremely disappointed with the behavior exhibited in this establishment.

I was pleasantly surprised to see some interesting wines here, well beyond the standard mass production, commercial wines you find in many small town liquor stores. If youre looking for out of the ordinary French and Italian wines, it may take a few minutes to hunt them down as theyre scattered about the sections which are organized loosely by region and varietal.As for pricing, many of the higher end French and Italian wines are similarly priced to independent shops in the cities, with a few coming in below average price, like the Gaja Brunello or the Chauvenet Nuits St. Georges (yes, they have premier cru Burgundy!). And finally, if you want something truly special and your wallet is weighing you down, pick up a bottle of the 2006 Chateau Margaux to match the steak dinner you might be having this weekend.All in all, a great store with friendly staff.

They have a great selection for being in a really small shop. I was going to buy some twisted shots but instead i was told i should buy the jello shots that come in a see through plastic jug. I would not recommend them. Vodka is very strong and makes it hard to eat and swallow the jello. Id go back to the twisted shots. They taste a lot better. But the staff is very friendly and always welcome you.

This is THE place to stop for all your liquor needs. Theyre a small space, but they are very well organized and have plenty of choices. Parking is a little tight but since its on a corner you can easily swing through with your trailet.

Love it. This is the only liquor store in alexandria that allows me to bring in my albino alligator while I shop for weekly alcohol items.If I dont get my 1 30 Pk of Hamms Special Light, 1 L of Windsor Canadian Whiskey, and 3 boxes of wine; my skills for my job as a pet-albino alligator zoo operator in NW Minnesota are severely diminished.Downtown liquor keeps me fueled to do what I do. Without DT Liquor I wouldnt be know as the Albino Alligator King.Also, Downtown Liquor sells some pretty sweet alligator-skin chaps, boots, and cell phone covers. Without these items and a pit-stop at the local any-time fitness to get some illegal steroids--my status as the Albino Alligator King would be in serious question.Thank god, (1) the president and sports director of the University of Florida supposrts the pet alligator zoo industry, and (2) my albino gators love boxed wine.Downtown liquor is in business to support me in helping me get the items I need to do what I do: operate an albino alligator zoo and grow peyote for individual consumption.5 Albino alligators out of 5!

Always have great service here, tonight they went above and beyond. The woman at the register was super friendly and helped me find the wine that I’d like- and she was right! Very good! She even made sure I grabbed the chilled bottle out of the cooler which I would have totally missed. Not often you see great service like that anymore. Wil be back for sure!

Wonderful little museum, fun for all ages. The kids enjoyed the scavenger hunt and there was a lot of interesting history about Vikings and Minnesota. The staff were also exceptionally kind.

Its always good. The staff is nice, and helpful. I can always find some kinda bargain, like the beer of the month.

Regular liquor store some selections are missing if you like rum tho. Its my only complaint
