I have used the services of this fine place for All my computer needs since I moved to Allen. They have always served me well. Today I had tears in my eyes because I was so grateful to Geoff. I had to buy a new Windows 10 in January because mine got hacked. Geoff did all the work for me and I was happy to have it secured. I was gone all February and part of March. I had my laptop not my PC. Well of course we have had lockdown n PCGeeks was closed. I could not find my pictures on my new computer. I’m not very techie anyway and I felt like people who lose their pictures in a house fire. I didn’t sleep at night trying to figure out how to find them. People who know about computers could do it in 2 seconds. I’m nearly 80 n don’t know diddly. Today I called Geoff and we did team viewer and he had all my several thousands pictures back in no time. I was so happy, tears ran down my old cheeks. This place is good and they are honest. I feel like they are friends! Thank you Geoff, you made my day. Judy Stevens I need to add to my last post! It was Geoff to the rescue again. This time he helped me find some important documents. This guy is so nice and so efficient. I would not go anywhere else with my personal information. You get to know the people and you trust them. What more can you want?

Geoff and crew were awesome! Really great prices and great communication. My machine had a ton of issues and they over delivered. It took some time for them to diagnose and find the problem but ultimately they gave me a better machine than I thought I would end up with. Their consistent communication made the whole process work out great. My daughters can now finally get off my gaming PC ;)
The team delivered excellent service on my desktop. This computer has sentimental value to me and they took such good care of it while keeping me informed of all the updates it needed. I know it was a tough go with this computer, but they were patient and now it is working so well. I recommend anyone having computer issues to go to here.
I was missing an M.2 screw for an SSD at work and we couldnt find one. I called here and the gentleman was nice enough to give me a small handful of screws and one of them fit!I called another place and they didnt even know what an m.2 was and it was a computer repair store too...Super friendly and knowledgeable!
Took my laptop to get fixed. The price was reasonable, and I was told it would take 2 days. I use my computer everyday, and I asked if they could fix it quicker. I was told they would try. The next day, I got a call that my computer was ready. Everything works fine, and they installed windows defender antivirus. That will save me about $80 I normally spend per year on antivirus protection.
Called in to see what could be done about my MAC being SO slow and he was literally able to help me over the phone with a simple reset method. I was literally about to spend 250 at best buy. Thank goodness I called here.Very happy my computer started up again.
I called PC Geeks in the morning and had a fixed laptop by afternoon. Not only did they fix my laptop, they spent time on the phone and in person explaining and answering all my questions. If we could give these guys more stars, we would. We purchased a new computer and had them transfer years of data from our old one. Michael took his time explaining what we needed to transfer and what could be stored on a backup drive......tons of patience dealing with a customer with little technical knowledge. Delivered on time. Reasonable pricing. Service after the sale answering our questions has been outstanding. We will never go anywhere else!
My laptop crashed, I wanted all of my hard drive data, I provided them with an external drive and they quickly pulled all of my files off the dead laptop. It was nice working with a local service provider. Fair pricing!

This is the 2nd time weve taken a computer in to be repaired and we are always so pleased with their service. Michael is incredibly competent yet extremely patient in explaining his processes and recommendations. He then takes the time when picking up to go over any changes to your computer and other helpful hints. Great service with quick turn around. I had built a high-end gaming PC from parts ordered online, but the computer wouldnt POST when I tried to start it up. I took it in to get looked and and Michael quickly identified the issue to be the BIOS was out of date on the motherboard. He ordered another CPU that the motherboard would support just so he could get it booted up and update the BIOS. Then he put my CPU back in and let it burn in for 24 hours to make sure there werent any other issues. He went far above and beyond in my opinion since all I asked for was to get it to POST. I will definitely do business with them again and highly recommend them.
My Mac stopped working, wouldnt turn on, etc. decided to give these guys a try instead of Best Buy, saved $20 on the diagnostic fee and these guys apply the $50 diagnostic fee towards any repairs. Dropped my laptop (using it now =) ) off on Saturday and they had it fixed by Monday. Would definitely use them again!

Had a battery problem and they wanted to charge $50 just to swap it out and verify it was truly the battery even though I had already purchased a new one. Bad business. There are definitely other places out there with better service and actually care about helping.
Id never trust them with anything. Save your time and money. I took my laptop for repairs, and they found an issue with the motherboard. It took two weeks for them to come back and tell me the replacement part that arrived came with a defect. But they would find something else but comes with no warranty. They offered to replace the laptop with one that had an inferior chipset (i3 vs i5 on the original). I do not trust this business and will not waste my time with them in the future. You are forewarned.
They have very fair pricing and incredible staff. I came in for one issue and they resolved several. I was treated like a person, and not like a potential upsell. If I have more computer problems (God forbid), Ill 100% come here if I can.

Do not take your computer here unless you want to be challenged to a fight in the parking lot.Seriously. That’s exactly what happened to me Friday in Allen, TX, by PC Geeks’ tech, Geoff Bennett. Apparently, geeks like street fights these days. Who knew? My account is below if you care to read it.My encounter with this business started normally enough. I was having a power problem with my PC, and took it to PC Geeks last Saturday. I was checked in by a gentleman there who said that the tech working on my computer would be Geoff, that the upfront charge for diagnostics was $49, and that Geoff would be in touch with me Monday after diagnosis.I spoke with Geoff on Monday, and he indicated that a part needed to be ordered, and that it would take a few days to receive the part. When I called Friday I was told the part wasn’t there yet. Being a bit perturbed, having the expectation that the repair would have been done by Friday, that the part had not arrived, and that I was having to do all of the follow-up on the repair – having had no deliberate updates from PCG – I told Geoff to cancel the repair, and that I would just source the part myself.I was nearby, and showed up within 10 minutes of my phone call, and asked for my computer. Geoff brought my computer to the front desk. I started to pick it up to leave, and Geoff bellowed, “I TOLD YOU IT WAS 4-5 DAYS FOR DELIVERY OF THIS PART!” When I countered with my understanding that the job would be finished Thursday or Friday this week, he cut me off and yelled, “ARE YOU CALLING ME A LIAR?!”“OK Geoff, I think we’re done,” I said. “Give me an f-ing break,” I mumbled as I reached for the door – as any normal, self-respecting person might do when met with a boorish idiot like this. Geoff heard me and followed me out to the parking lot trying to provoke a fight, saying “what did you say to me?” I repeated what I said, “give me a break.” He corrected me and said, “no you said give me a f-ing break.” “What’s the difference?” I said. “Do you want to go? I’m ready to go [fight] right now!” he said. I squared up to him with my computer still under my arm and said, “are you really doing this?” He continued and said, “do you want to go, because I’m ready!” I told him I was leaving, I put my computer in the car and left.I don’t normally or regularly write business reviews or post complaints. If a business’ service doesn’t line up with my expectations I may express my dissatisfaction directly, but I usually just to move on and take business elsewhere. I take exception when someone follows me to the parking lot and threatens me. And you should too.By the way, I took my computer directly to Best Buy, and they diagnosed it, no charge. They did not have the part, but the tech was very nice and allowed me to pick his brain for 5 minutes. I went home, and ordered a part on Amazon. It is being delivered (overnight, no charge). And I am installing it myself today.
