I just had such a wonderful experience at this Staples. Jack helped me buy my new office chair and he was so nice and very helpful even offered to carry out my chair and loaded it in my car for me. I will be returning to this wonderful location because of the service I received. Very nice staff here.
Very helpful staff! A few days ago, when searching for the optimal fountain pen to write poetry (and for other office supplies), Henry helped me to find exactly what I needed. When it came time to check-out, Henry helped me to take advantage of coupons and incentives. Thanks to Henry, I will always be a loyal Staples customer. You guys blow-away the competition!
Jovian in tech should have 0-1/2 stars….he had ZERO interest to help or even follow up. Its the store we go to. We know who to talk to. If Jovian is there next time we will publicly refuse his help.
Do not purchase the Square Trade protection from Staples. Its a scam. I filed a claim for a chair I bought. The leather was torn from everyday use. I was told by Staples and Square Trade that this type of thing was covered and my claim was denied. Staples is not a trustworthy company! Their chairs will not last longer than a year!

Printed a sample on the color printer and the quality was poor--looked like printer was running out of ink or something --did not match color of document at all. Clerks response thats just the way it is. no interest in refund, no interest in checking the printer for quality...so...not going to have anything printed here with that kind of attitude.
I went in looking for a Lamination machine and asked 3 different employees if they priced matched since they were selling one for $199.99 and walmart.com had the same one for $74.80. All the employees said yes including the cashier and everything was fine up to that point I even decided to be nice and signed up for their rewards program since the cashier insisted. After he scans my item and starts the check out process he calls Jake some dude in a green shirt with a a fly on his collar. Jake looks at me up and down and then looks a my phone screen and says its a clearance item Im not going to price match even though it didnt say Clearance any where in the Walmart site. He just turned around and walked away without apologizing with a real arrogant attitude. If this guy happens to be the manager he needs better customer service training or else they will keep on losing customers to Walmart and Amazon like they did with me.

Very helpful, came to get ink pack I saw online, they showed me the same in separate packages that came out $6.78 cheaper than the bundled pack. Hey $7.00 is $7.00 they could have just rung me up and not say anything, but thats what I like about my local staples store. Great customer service

Thank you Staples for solving my shipping dilemma! Five days till Christmas and super long line at the local post office lead me to Staples. What a relief, no lines, and Melanie was so helpful as I do not ship very often. My package is set to deliver tomorrow, wow! Didnt have to pay extra to expedite, I bought my own box and packed it, and the basic rate was under $11 for 4 lbs. Thank you Staples (UPS)!

Worst store ever !!!! Came in an emergency to print out my auto ins. ID card. There were several copy & print shop techs available. I was already late to my appointment. I didn’t have time to buy toner for my printer prior to that. I didn’t think it was going to be a problem. The short long haired Hispanic girls said I had to wait for hours. All they had to do is open the attachment and print. They pointed to the self service machines I had already tried one & it was not working. The other problem there’s bad signal inside and the self service never generated a print code. So if you need actually customers service don’t come here. They are so unhelpful.
Great location! I ended up here on accident because the Staples in McKinney off 121 closed at 7. Anyway, I stopped in at the Allen location, and they were great. They had everything I was looking for, all the employees were super friendly and helpful, and there were awesome sales going on. Plus, they were open past 7, so theres that. Will definitely make the drive again!
Jacob (the manager), John, and David were very helpful and took care of me. Made sure I found exactly what I was looking for and opened a lane to check me out when there was a line. Perfect experience!!
The staff at the printing area were so friendly and helpful! They showed me how to submit my request through email for party invitations so I wouldn’t have to pay additionally for envelopes. When I returned later that day to pick up my order the guy that originally helped me (sorry, can’t remember your name, but he had long, dark hair) came over to make sure I was happy with the results before paying. I will definitely be using them again for my future invitation/printing needs.

I went in to get some material copied and then have that copy spiral bound. The employee was very condescending and told me he couldn’t copy it for me, that I would have to do it myself. He then proceeded to try and sell me on spiral binding the material I had brought in, which was already bound! There were no problems with their machines nor a queue of customers. I was given no explanation as to why they couldn’t copy for me. Not coming back.
Never had any problems with this location. I can usually find a staff member if Im looking for something and they are very helpful.The store is clean and bright. Parking is plentiful.They also recycle old computers here.
When hunting school supplies last year, my daughter and I were running late getting to the store. Even though the store had closed some 10 minutes before we arrived, the store manager invited us in and asked an associate to help us find what we needed.5 Stars! This is a great store with great management.By the way - never trust a review from someone that wont post their real name.
The prices are a little high for my taste, and I did run into a few items that I was interested in not having their prices marked (which caused me to give up on even considering them because I was in a hurry), but the staff was friendly and helpful, and I was really impressed by how many planning supplies they had to offer. They even carry a small assortment of washi tape and planner stickers, including some of the kind you only expect to find at craft stores! Its too bad there isnt one closer to where I live now, though, or Id probably stop in a lot more often. But, the occasional $10 off coupons I get in the mail are enough to make it worth the 30-minute drive. Of course, I always end up spending a little more than I planned, but I guess thats what makes it worth it for them to give me the coupon in the first place.
Ordered a few things online with free one-hour pick up. In the past you would have to wait for someone to page someone else, they would eventually show up, look at the receipt, then disappear for a while. Well they finally got it together; I was in and out in just a few minutes total. Friendly service.
I would like to share my experience with having the Tech Group at this location work on the problem of recovering my data from my computer crash. I spoke with the manager at this location Jacob and explained that my computer had passed all hardware tests but it could not find the hard disk suggesting that the Windows 10 Pro operating system had become corrupted. The Store Manager Jacob outlined a logical plan for attempting to recover the data from the computer. As a computer scientist, I understand that despite best intentions and having the appropriate data recovery tools, data recovery is never guaranteed but I did have valuable data on my computer and decided to move forward with the plan suggested by Jacob. Justin, who works in the tech center, proceeded with the data recovery under the supervision of Jacob. Im pleased to report that (in this case) they were successful and they recovered my data. Although it is important to emphasize that data recovery in such situations is never guaranteed regardless who attempts this process, I was impressed with the logic, care, and concern of the Allen Staples group in attempting to recover my data and was very pleased that they were successful! I plan to avoid losing my data in the future by having good backups but if this situation arises in the future I will definitely consider this particular group as a possibility. I recommend this group (and especially Jacob and Justin) for dealing with data recovery issues from crashed computers.
I had placed an order at a different location (121 and Custer in McKinney) and they notified me my order was ready for pick-up, only to find out my order was not finished because they ran out of supplies needed to finish it. This location was AWESOME enough to pick-up my order where the other location left off and finish the project timely with no additional cost out of my pocket!
Will not be returning to Staples, especially since there are plenty other office supply companies that dont discriminate.I was shouted at and asked to leave for not being able to wear a mask. That is called discrimination to those with health issues.
Been going here for ten years, cant really complain. Helpful staff,fair price on most things for the area. When you catch a sale or rebate right it can really pay off.

The manager was rude. I was there two days ago and trying to buy two of the same item, because I have two kids for the new school year. After I told them, the guy turned around and talked with the manger. Later on, the manager approached me and told me they would not sell any thing to me because I am a reseller. But I am not. They were rude. I will never go shopping there again. Overpriced items, rude attitude. SHAME ON THEM to make quick and inappropriate judgement!
The store has a very decent selection of items (it seems larger than most Staples locations), however the cashier and other employees there were generally unenthusiastic and borderline rude. If you are looking for a friendly & welcoming atmosphere, you wont find it here.

After moving out-of-state and visiting another Staples, I appreciate how nice this location is. The store is large and well-stocked, and the Ive seen the management/staff exceed my expectations in helping me multiple times.
Took them over 15 minutes to tell me that they could not download and print the 4MB Powerpoint that I emailed them. Whyd it take so long to figure this out? Why werent the employees communicative about thia before Id been waiting 15+ minutes already? Why was the guy texting and failed to notice another customer that walked in? So many questions.
I went here to get some documents scanned onto a USB I first went to the self service machine and it did not save correctly to my USB I went back to the store and someone named Meka was very helpful and fixed it within minutes. I appreciate it!

One star is far too much for a company that has a manager who REFUSES to help out in the search for a missing person. The manager said he could ONLY give the 20% discount that is available in their little paper. Not only was he disinterested in helping a community find a missing person, he was rude and insolent.When we approached the nearby Kinkos in Allen, they immediately made 50 free copies. Im spreading the word about both companies via facebook, word of mouth, to all the volunteers and companies who have helped in the search for Mr. Dixon of Pottsboro Texas.Shame on the manager for not assisting in these efforts. Shame on him for being so insulting to only offer the discount EVERYBODY has access to in the search for a missing person.Years and years Ive spent money at Staples. NEVER AGAIN!! NEVER. I will remain loyal to Kinkos on Central Expressway in Allen.
