Rodi was able to upgrade my older tower unit that still runs well and is quiet versus paying more elsewhere to replace it with another laptop. For less than a new machine, I have greater storage capacity with drive redundancy for backups and increased speed of operations. I am also in great shape for Windows 11. I literally cannot say enough good things about Rodi. The flash drive containing my dissertation work broke and a number of the files were damaged. But Rodi was able to recover EVERYTHING! He was great at explaining what could be wrong and what would need to be done. The price was perfectly within the range he quoted me for the data recovery, and it was substantially less than experts from chain companies. Rodi and Parker helped me out! They where both very friendly and personable. The guys went above and beyond fixing my custom build. They did a nice deep cleaning and rearranged my my PC to help prevent future issues. The only reason Im giving 4/5 stars is that it took longer than I was originally quoted and they didnt communicate that very well. I think its because the guys got sick for a little while so they where swamped business wise. Thanks guys!

Rodi and his team did a wonderful job at repairing the screen on my MacBook! The prices are reasonable and the staff is very kind and hard working. It did take a bit longer than I was originally told, but I understand that unforseen circumstances can occur and set things back a bit. No worries though, because it was well worth the wait! The only thing I felt was a bit lacking was communication on their end; I had to call them myself to figure out why it was taking longer than originally planned. I cant say enough great things about Rodi and the work that he does. Ive used Rodi a few times over the years to fix random computer issues (cracked screens, bad ports, etc) and hes always found a way to fix the problem and been very reasonable with the pricing. Most recently I had a hard drive go bad and Rodi was able to work his magic and recover the data. He got me up and running with a new SSD and transferred over the data from the bad HD. I brought my MacBook Pro to a reputable service, backed up data to an external hard drive so I wouldnt lose anything - only to be told he could not transfer it back onto the computer because the port was loose. Needless to say, I was very upset.Thankfully I found Rodi. I literally went in crying and left with a smile on my face! He is truly amazing! These people are the BEST!!!! Totally amazed by the staff and the manager. Went there for an issue with my desktop computer fans running full force making a loud noise. The manager even though extremely busy noticed that this was something he could quickly look at so I dont have to leave it for couple days.Not only did the solve my problem but also explained me what the issue was. All I can say is WOW! Rodi amazing. My macbook pro batteries were swollen and needed to be replaced. In addition, my laptop had major internal dust issues that I did not realize. I took my laptop on December of 2019 to see if something can be done to fix it. Rodi said he will call me soon and give me the quote. In short, I have no update on what happened to that computer. In between, I called them more than 20 times, stopped by them at least five times. He kept giving so many different reasons every single time. I already lost the hope on getting it back which is not a big deal to me. But, every time I think about it, it gives me anger and negative vibe coz his business with me does not makes sense. I went in to have my computer looked at because I had just built it and had no idea what was wrong. Rodi looked at it and helped me and my friend for hours teaching us and making sure we understood what was wrong and even helped us to install a liquid cooling system because he wanted us to be set. Computer smart and a good heartthat’s why it’s the perfect place to gowhen your computer doesn’t start.

I am one of the top computer repair professionals in the country but I am clueless about component level repairs for motherboards (other than simple replacements of say a charger port or wifi card). But I have customers who invest a lot of money in an expensive laptop without realizing the industry failure rates for these is (IMO) at least 5% and sometimes higher. And that failure can occur BOTH before AND after a typical 1-yr warranty. Rodi didn’t teach me that – I learned that by talking to HP, Dell and PC builder companies like Puget Sounds, etc. who know these failure rates like the back of their hand, as does Rodi. It’s quite sad and distressing and disappointing to a laptop owner when the motherboard fails.In the past my customers call with a failed motherboard wondering what recourse they have.I would normally refer them to a very expensive board level repair company in California that Frys used to outsource to. By that point most people would thrown their laptops into the river as that option is quite expensive.But I am thrilled to finally say that people whose motherboards are damaged seemingly beyond repair can go see Rodi. I heard about him being a “genius” and decided to take a customer laptop to him. His premises are impressive including a very expensive microscope he sits by to diagnose and which is necessary for identification of board level component failure. That gets followed by replacement of failed parts and the final outcome should be, with almost no exception, a working motherboard and in turn a working computer. He loves challenges and is passionate about his work. His prices are affordable and his dedication and commitment to his customers is supreme. I’m sure he does a great job in other areas as he is a full-service computer repair shop but he is clearly one of a kind and I am grateful I met him and will be highly recommending him in the future.

Rodi provides the best customer service in North Texas. Recently, we had a laptop screen replaced. Initially, the repair would have been completed within a few days however the supplier of the laptop screen failed to deliver the correct screen. Rodi worked with the supplier to secure delivery of the correct screen over a holiday weekend, completed the work after hours and made a special trip to the store to meet and deliver the laptop. Outstanding workmanship, service and very responsive!

Rodi is a Super Technician!My Dell desktop will not reboot after I accidentally updated the BIOS that popped up on my Windows 10 machine. I took it to Rodi and he reprogrammed the BIOS and got it back running though it took longer than what he told me. But it was worth the wait. He is very good in what he does. With his engineering skills he can open the computer and replace the component at a cheaper price than replace entire PCB (most others do). He is very honest and upfront with the pricing. In my case he had to do more work than anticipated but did not charge me anything extra. Also, if anyone is looking to buy computers, I highly recommend to give Rodi a call. He has never-used high-end business class computers at half the price.I highly recommend him for all your computer needs.

I am usually not one to write reviews, but I believe I had to this time. I accidentally dropped my laptop one time and as a result, it stopped taking charge. I took it to best buy geek squad so that they could repair it and they told me that the motherboard was damaged and tried to charge me an arm just for the diagnostic. They even tried to get me to turn in my laptop for very cheap. I thought I would have to buy a new laptop. Fortunately for me, I found Rodi and let me tell you that he saved me a lot of money. He is honest and gives the best advice for your laptop. It turns out something was just out of place in my computer and my charger had a problem. I paid a reasonable price for the repair and I can only recommend him to anyone who doesnt want to get ripped off by other repair places.

He has always gone out of his way to help and I love the computer I bought from him. Besides being extremely knowledgeable and competent, he has my total trust. He has always been upfront and honest. He also does what he says he will do. I actually drive 60 miles one way to his shop when I need something. I will continue to use him for all my computer needs.

Recently brought in an aging low-end laptop that was having performance issues and, when all was said and done, I walked away with an improved system that exceeded any hopes that I came in with. The owner took to the time to explain what could and could not be done to help the situation. There was no pressure and the pricing was also better that id hoped for - more than fair. It had been years since Id been in this store and the owner made me feel like a regular. Im so appreciative.

Being relatively new to this area, I found Rodi through Yelp, and, while I am not one to write reviews, in this case I would be remiss if I didnt pass forward my excellent experience.I brought Rodi my old laptop to upgrade to Windows 10. Before doing so, I asked him if it was worth doing or should I buy a modern one - fully expecting an aggressive sales pitch. Despite having a store full of new computers, rather than sell me a new one, he told me that the laptop I had was a very good one and that, with some inexpensive upgrades, it would continue to serve my purposes just fine.He put in the new Windows - with all the complicated adjustments and data transfers that entails - plus he replaced my hard drive with a 1T solid state drive ... for a third of what a new computer would have cost me. It now runs better than ever before. In addition, Rodi patiently spent considerable time educating me on Windows 10 differences and set me up for a successful transition - with no subsequent transfer issues.I highly recommend him !!

My Elderly mother lives in Texas and has issues with her laptop from time to time. Since we live in another state I looked up reviews and found this shop had very high ratings. I gave them a call and scheduled my mothers visit for repair of her laptop and I sure am glad I did. Rodi called me and explained what was going on and what it would take to fix the issues. Honest and up front dealings and never once felt like he was trying to pull the wallet from my pocket.We have been back 3 times now for different issues from Hard drive replacement (initial problem 3 years ago), to virus software load and scan (second visit), to the most recent visit which required fan replacement and cleanout for overheating(Third visit). Each time he has provided GREAT service at reasonable pricing.HIGHLY recommend!!!! Great customer service, good pricing, spot on diagnosis and repair, and gives veterans discounts on the work he does!!! I cant say enough good about this place!!!!
