The eye doctor was so sweet! She answered all my questions in detail and the staff provided great customer service. They have a good selection of glasses too. Ill definitely be back!
I gave a 1 star because it wont let me give 0...Poor customer service. Did not answer any of my questions. They looked at my prescription paper and told me what I was going to buy, and then never placed the order! Almost 3 months later, still having problems because of this palce. Save your time and money and go somewhere else!
Every part of the process was handled professionally with exceptional service. I had never had a full eye exam or glasses before and the doctors, technicians, and service team were all fantastic. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful...... however, the doctor was not. She tried to push the extra eye photo part of the exam ($25 extra, insurance does not cover). When I said I did not want it, she became rude and tried to argue with me. I said again that I did not want it, and she continued to act rude. She rushed through my exam, and told me that my prescription was so minor that insurance probably wouldn’t pay for me to get glasses. (I have been wearing glasses for 10 years). After the exam was finished she rudely walked me to the front and dropped my paperwork on the desk, turning and storming away without thanking me for my business or even saying goodbye. I also did not receive dark shades to wear outside since my eyes were dilated. When comparing the new prescription she gave me when the one I have from 4 years ago, apparently my vision got better. Highly doubtful since my current glasses seem a little blurry to me now.... I highly recommend going literally anywhere else.
Pretty awful customer service. When coming here to select my frames only one person was helping customers, the other two too busy flirting and texting to assist. No sanitization seen at all, when I asked flirting Cassanova for a sanitary wipe to use on the frames I got an eye roll and a wet nap. The one working quoted me the wrong price on the glasses, said oh thats a discount its just random how they work. My girlfriend identified that they gave me the price without my selected options added, and caught them in the discount lie. Double check your estimates folks.Upon returning for pickup I can confirm what another reviewer said, they lock their door at 6pm on weekdays and if youre lucky enough to get someone to help past then, you will be treated like youre a nuisence, disturbing them greatly. Just change your hours to close at 6! Makes no sense. Salesperson did not offer to adjust nosepads or frames to fit, here you go now get out was the attitude. I will be certain to never return.
I normally go to optical outlets but since they were always busy I decided to go here since they had lots of availability and now I know why.. the service is terrible. Everything was going well until AFTER the exam. The doctor took my copay and after that it was like no one cared. No one explained what happens next I was so lost. Was I getting a trial? How do I order my contact boxes? How much is my insurance going to cover? What about the glasses I spent my waiting time picking out? I will NOT be coming back! I’ve wear glasses my whole life and this is the first time with experience like this. This place is my karma for not waiting on optical outlet availability.

My wife had one usable pair of glasses, which she needs to function.The lady at store 320 adjusted one side so its too painful to wear, and snapped the other side in half in front of us. She denied responsibility, and refused to make it right.My wife cant see now, and is upset beyond words. I am livid.To the Responder:I sent that email 7 hours before your reply here. An auto-reply said theyd look into it right away. Phone support, chat support, and your Facebook said the same thing. Youre the 5th person telling us Right Away! Empty promises dont help my wife see. You need to replace the glasses you destroyed.
I haven’t received my glasses yet since I just placed the order today but I’ve had a pleasant experience so far. I’m happy with the Acuvue Vita contacts that the doctor recommended. She had me try a couple pairs for free and come back to follow up since my usual brand had been discontinued.I love that they accept my insurance (VSP) which the competitor, LensCrafters, does not!Dr. Nguyen was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Her receptionist, Christina was very friendly and helpful and the girls up front were sweet. I don’t know the name of the girl that checked me out when I was choosing glasses but she was funny and helped me pick the best option for my insurance coverage.I’ve had a lot of eye exams over the years, some good and some pretty awful. This was a very pleasant (and FAST) experience.I’ll definitely be coming back to this location!

The service was not very professional in my opinion. I feel like everyone who worked there was related. Two months after I got my glasses Some kind of foam look like it was rubbing off and I can’t see anything out of them. Then Covid happened. I left messages for someone to call me back and they never did. Don’t let the deals cloud your judgment.
Walked in and walked right out. Walked in with my own prescription to order glasses and was told I need an appointment when clearly on their website it says walk ins welcome. The lady that denied us service will lose customers because I am going to make sure I tell everyone how unprofessional the lady was. Couldn’t even make eye contact with me when I walked in. Was looking at papers! Great people running this place (NOT) and was gonna pay for my glasses out of pocket. Going else where
If you have VSP, the doctor here is not in network. She did a terrible job, was dismissive of my concerns, and gave me a completely wrong prescription. I was told to bring my glasses in, and rather than re-exam my eyes as I had requested, they told me that my glasses were wrong and I needed to have them fixed first.I went to a doctor that I love in Winter Park for a re-exam and he said that my prescription was completely wrong. I called visionworks to ask for a refund and she said no refund but offered a retest (after I was told no one day earlier). A bit late. I have never had issues with glasses before and this was by far the worst experience, and very costly.Visionworks, I hope you distance yourself from this terrible doctor.
Apparently they are NOT open till 7:00 p.m. they do no take orders at 6:30 p.m. or assist you, only if you are there to pick up. One reason given, they are sanitizing glasses....Which they should post on website or put a sign on the CLOSED door

Woman there broke my glasses with her bare hands in front of me, blames the heat that helps bend plastic. She then told me that it wasn’t her fault and gave me the last sheet off an ad pad for an eye glass repair shop down the street.She didn’t introduce herself, ask me how they felt, or anything. Now one side is broken and the other side is curled so far that it’s painful.
Would give this place zero stars if it wasn’t for the employee Omar. The store supervisor Wallesca was rude to me and Omar. Even talking down to him in-front of me! Omar was nothing but helpful, patience and kind. I’m sorry but all these other reviews seem to show your problem. She seems to be the pit bull of the place.
Weve been going to Visionworks for over 10 years. Ever since they moved and have a different manager every time we go in there its a bad experience. Today was not the exception. I walked in with all five of my kids needing glasses ASAP. When they told me I couldnt go in. Only two ppl and by appointment! I understand the time we are living in, but theres only two employees in the whole store( its a big facility). Last time I go there. And Ill be moving my (25 people)entire family.
I went in for an eye exam. It was rushed and I needed to ask questions. I have never worn glasses before. I spent alot of money since I have no insurance. The whole experience was off putting.
Bait and switch BOGO doesnt cover insurance covered frames. In reality its BOGO after insurance has covered a set. Thats B2G1, not BOGO and I made this question clear when asking about pricing, which isn’t displayed anywhere but the point of sales machines.They refused to release my and my sons prescriptions so they “can check to make sure the glasses are correct” when they arrive. Nonsense, illegal and they LOST my sons prescription.They wouldn’t release his prescription over the phone as they did with my illegible one because “I didn’t have it in hand”...which I obviously didn’t have since they lost it after refusing to let me leave with it.This place is garbage. Get your prescription at copay cost then go to Zenni with your prescription. DON’T LEAVE WITHOUT IT!

This place is ridiculous, they will send you an email saying your glasses is ready for pick and ask you to make an appointment to just pick up your glasses. I will not go back there.
You can’t even get an appointment here you would think the doctor is Jesus Christ himself. Called the front office was place on hold to place an appointment and then transferred to a voice mail box. You would think during a pandemic they would be glad to get appointments. Don’t waste your time here go somewhere else.

It went super smooth. I got my glasses in a few days as promised. They look and feel exactly as I had hope. Ive been a customer for roughly 5 years. Never have I had a bad experience. Dr.pham is amazing, very thorough in her exams. I take my 11 yr old here as well. The sales staff is always helpful, and extremely patient. They have helped greatly over the years with me saving money. I cant imagine going to another eye glass store.

I got a pair of digital progressive lenses with a hot red Valentino frame and I see awesome out of them. Before going to Visionworks I didn’t know I had so many different options for my prescription. After the manager Jessie went through all the different options and benefits I decided to go for the best available options and I don’t regret it! I actually lost them and went back to buy another pair exactly the same! Great service, great product.

I came with my husband to get contacts and glasses for him. I wasn’t sure on what options were better for him but Jessie took her time finding out what was best for his vision needs. We got progressive lenses for the 1st time and Jessie explained so well how they would work, that when he got them he knew exactly what to expect. We received them sooner than promised and we also got an annual supply of contacts so we don’t have to worry about anything until our next eye exam.We will be coming here again next year for him and probably much sooner for me since my up close vision it’s getting a little blurry as well!
The attendant helped my fiancee and I, even though we stayed past closing time. She was extremely patient, and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone I know. The selection is also double what the previous office i went to had, and i wish i would have come here first.

After years of putting off getting an updated eye exam, I had the pleasure to be examined by Dr. Pham at Visionworks. She spent a great amount of time on the actual eye exam, and explained the facts on the progress of my vision. Having both long and short sight problems after the big five-oh meant I needed an accurate prescription, and dual lenses. Jessie helped me choose the best frame for my face among several modern styles. I was skeptical about getting progressive lenses at first, but Im glad I listened to Jessies expert recommendations. I also did a second pair of non-progressive lenses, turning an existing frame to polarized sunglasses. Im very satisfied by the entire experience and results - now I can read the small print on the restaurant menus, and wont take the wrong exit on 408 again.

My husband and I have been patients of this particular Visionworks for over 10 years and always happy with the high level of service and product quality. The staff Optometrists share a long family line of Optometry so I guess you say its in their heart and soul! They sincerely take their time to educate the patient, presenting options and impose no purchasing pressure. Extremely efficient and thorough.On the retail side, Jessie (Yesenia) went out of her way to inform me of what options my insurance plan offers (some of which I was not aware of) and how Visionworks can fulfill those benefits. Yesenia even beat other retail prices for my contact lens. I left very impressed of her product and company knowledge and very happy with my buying decision.

Came in for an adjustment in my glasses while visiting on vacation. Was greeted with a warm welcome from Wallesca. She took care of me and went above and beyond and changed my nose pads. I will recommend them to any family over in Florida.
Came to Visionworks after my daughter’s recommendation and was very pleased with my experience. I felt welcome from the time I walked in to the time I left. Very large frame selection and they take my vision insurance which it’s a plus. Optician was very knowledgeable. I will be coming back to get me some prescription sunglasses soon and will continue my business there.

Let me start off by saying it was one of the best eye appointment Ive had in a long time. Not only was I pleased but so were my daughter and mother who also had appointments. From the moment we got to the store there was such a fun environment. From the doctors office to the associates on the retail portion. First your welcomed with smiles at the door then greeted again in the doctors section. The techs are very curtious and professional. The doctor herself is very knowledgeable and made us feel at home. When we went to choose our frames we were pleasantly surprised that they had such a variety. The associates were very helpful with our selection and offered us great options for both frames and lenses. We were able to get what we wanted at a great price. My daughter and I came in for an exam and glasses and the customer service was on point. They took me in early for my appointment, had all my insurance benefits pulled and made the transaction very easy.
I was told my glasses were under warranty I was never told there was a deductible. I came in because my transition film was coming off my glasses in less than a year. I was told there under warrantee for a $50 deductible you can get a new pair. I said great I’ll have an extra pair glasses don’t mind paying the 50. however when I come in to get my new pair I’m told we need your old pair back. So I Feel I paid An extra $50 because of there poor workmanship and poor communication
I just left and had an aweful experience on the sales side of the office. My exam went well with Dr Pham which was about the ONLY good part of my experience. I got ignored for the greater part of my eye glasses search to be approached by Liz. She then asked me if I needed to be helped. I asked for her to show me a selection of glasses that my insurance covers, to which she responded that she needed to run my insurance again. That was fine, and answered all of her questions. When it came to my birthday, I advised that my insurance has it listed as the incorrect month date, so she would have to run it as my insurance has it listed as for it to come up. She was confused as my office patient profile lists my correct birthday. She was massively confused on this concept for some reason and I had to repeat myself a good 2/3 times, as she kept repeating completely different dates altogether. I said my birth year is 1995. She said to me “it’s 1921?” 🤦🏻♀️ Are you JOKING. At this point she just had me write it out for her, which is crazy. And if you don’t think it gets worse, it does. She initially gave me a price of $260 which does NOT add up. My frames Alone were $170, and covered by insurance. Surely polycarbonate lenses, insurance and glare resistant coatings can NOT equate to $260. I asked her to break down the charges to me, She kept rattling off costs, including some $60 “Frame fee”. Well she recalculated and came out with $160. Which again is a far stretch in pricing. I asked her again, to print/write/break down the charges so that I can see what I was paying for. I told her at this point I feel like you don’t know what you’re doing or you’re trying to rip me off! She went back to the counter and came back with $117! How the heck did it come from $260, to $117? Super sketchy place. Not to mention everyone there when it comes to getting taken care of is just completely rude. I do NOT suggest going here for anything other than an exam. Horrible service. I ended up taking my prescription and leaving after spending 3 hours there. STAY. AWAY.

Would be nice to help customers out with glasses selection huh? Instead of all three employees chatting at the reception desk. Had to ask 3 times for our guy to come back. Just lacked a true professional attitude, they were more focused on going home 45mins prior to closing. Didnt buy anything.
I’ve never had a bad experience with Visionworks until now, there’s just something really wrong with this branch.9:45am I was curtly greeted and then stood at a desk waiting 6 minutes because, the women working here wanted to finish up their Peoples Magazine spiel first.9:51am A woman with cheap highlights gives me papers to fill out. But as an existing customer, my information is already in the companies shared system. This was confirmed by a different location prior to my choosing this one. So when I was given the paperwork, of course I asked why. She didn’t know. She was then replaced by an elongated pigeon pug pancake faced limp noodle who was the embodiment of nasty attitudes. She told me it was because “the Dr. had taken all the paper copies. Well, again, that’s interesting because, my information is already in their SHARED system, and according to corporate, all they need to do is print it and ask for a signature to verify said info. But I mean, what do corporate and other branches know anyway!?9:55am I don’t argue, even though, and I quote, the pigeon sharply ordered, “Just fill it out, it will only take you 2minutes.” with a creepy condescending smile. But maybe that’s just her mouth, I don’t know. Like, look, I know the paperwork wasn’t a lot, it was just unnecessary. It took me a minute to fill out but I was unable to give it back because they had returned to their conversation.9:56am and I‘m trying to remain calm so I go make sure the frames I want are there. They were, but, pretty much every pair on display was filthy. Fingerprints, smudges, some frames were chipped. I can’t believe any sane doctor would allow for their display pieces to be in such an unsanitary state.9:59am I return to the desk area hoping the two have finished their convo, I shouldn’t have been surprised that they hadn’t. For 25min the two talked about their weekend plans and movies. At this point, a line was growing, patience was running low, and customers upset because the front desk refused to acknowledge them.10:26am we confront them. Nothing to cause a scene, just walking over and asking “how much longer please?”. And just when I thought the two of them couldn’t get an uglier, they did.The two, for approximately 15 of the longest seconds in the world, responded with the dirtiest look which said everything, without saying anything,“how dare you interrupt us”. This was eventually followed by Little Miss. CheapDippedHighlights saying “another minute ok.”I left.The above reasons should have been enough 2. I spend too much money at Visionworks to be mistreated 3. I was taught to respect others and that the customer is always right, apparently the employees here weren’t. Sorry but I don’t need to be the recipient of nor a bystander to that kind of mistreatment. 4. The Elongated Pigeon Pug Pancake Faced Limp Noodle IS the new doctor. It’s sad that they give degrees to anyone these days. 6. I don’t need to be treated by some girl who hasn’t left her sorority years behind.
Cheryl is the only person to get my fit correct on my glasses. I hate them slipping down my nose. She helps you pick glasses that look good on your face also.

I bought glasses 6 years ago. I’m very hard on glasses, they drop out of my hand, get scratched, loose them. I wear them on my head a lot but it took me six years to finally break the ones I had.So with the wonderful record of my past glasses lasting so long I went back to Visionworks it was a no brainer. However I did checked three different places as well as an online group and could not find satisfaction.This morning I met Jessie who helped me make the right choices that I was very satisfied with. She didn’t push me toward something I couldn’t afford and worked with me every step of the way. She never pushed me to hurry up so she get on to another customer like some sales people can be.I believe Jessie should be employee of the month and Visionworks should get a big thumbs up

Jessie’s customer service today was far above what I was expecting! Not only did she give what I wanted, she opened my eyes to other styles that look good as well! She’s the bomb!
After looking at different competitors Visionworks had the best prices and the staff was very attentive and eager to help! I will definitely refer my friends and family!

Great store and especially because of Cheryl Wilkes. She knows her stuff, and was very helpful and patient to make sure I got the best frames and correct fit.
DONT GO HERE. This is absolutely the worse eyecare place I have ever been to. The reasons?:1. I waited over an hour to be seen for a prescheduled appointment.2. Staff are incompetent, with poor attitudes. Assistant messed up every test she gave me from shooting air into my eyes without warning me, to having to redo my retinal scan three times because she couldnt figure out the machine.3. Even the doctor had to try 2 or 3 times to calibrate my prescription. I have NEVER had this problem before.4. THE KICKER. I tried to order contacts and when I called, after a month of waiting, they had no record of my order or that I had ever even been to the office. They even gave me a trial pair of contacts to make sure they were a proper fit! Did I go to a different Visionworks in Altamonte Springs? There are many other options for getting your eyes checked. Please pick another one.

The people who have been working at this location for at least the 2 years I’ve been going - are completely incompetent & rude. Not only do they severely lack organization, there are a few very rude employees who will discrimate against certain races. Particularly the large Spanish lady with blonde curly hair. They let me stand to the side for 30 minutes before even asking my name, meanwhile being overly helpful and nice to the other customers. This is my second experience here. I will not be back.
