Man, I hate to talk about this place. GREAT secret place to shop. Fruit and veggies are ALWAYS fresh, Packaged chicken is great, nice selection of frozen seafood at reasonable prices.If you have an addiction to salami or dried meats, you may want to avoid this place and save your arteries. tremendous selection

I have been to this place twice. In both of the times, I have bought meat. The first time, I could not even cook the meat because of the pungent smell. Yesterday I bought pork ribs and I cooked them (they didnt smell when I was washing them), but it tasted as it was expired. Now Im going to have to cook some other food for my children because the ribs have that awful taste. ☹

Went here after a long time. I was avoiding going here since covid, as I wasnt sure how they were handling it. My experience of there cleanliness at previous few times wasnt that good.But this time it was a pleasant surprise. They are adhering to the covid protocols. At the entrance I saw a station with cleaning liquid and a cloth to clean the carts. But I didnt see a designated person doing it when I went. Inside, the store looked pretty clean. All the employees were wearing masks. They had glass/plastic shields at the check out counter. They also have markings for 6 ft distancing.The vegetables were fresh and everything was fully stocked. I am not sure if the veggies and fruits are organic. Will have to find that out.I will recommend to go on a weekday and at odd times. Cause otherwise it will be crowded.

Fancy fruit times they are supposed to be open at 8 o’clock am it’s already 8:29am and no one has Open the door yet. Lights are off . I was hoping to grab a few things and I’ve been waiting since. If it wasn’t for this one item I can’t find anywhere else I would never go here! Rude cashiers as well! Attitude problems. The management should be ashamed.

I love shopping at Fancy Fruit and Produce. The prices on their meats are awesome. But the thing I like most is the selection of fruits and vegetables. Not only do they have a nice assortment of the things I want to buy, but on some of the vegetables, you can buy them loose or in very small amounts. Its just me and my husband at home so I dont need a whole bag of carrots or an entire bunch of radishes. I can just get them in the smaller amounts that I need. The stores are always clean and the staff is always friendly.

Love coming here cause its the only place where I can find most of the Hispanic food that I look for in other places.

I buy all my meat from Fancy Fruit.. Ill be honest, the presentation isnt the best but the prices are well worth it... If youre looking for anything pertaining to Caribbean food they have it! The only downside I see is that you have to package and freeze the meat quickly if youre not going to cook it the day you buy it... I buy a lot of the larger packs of food and I left it in the refrigerator for one day and when I went to package it up into meal sections the meat had gone bad... Thats happened to me two times with the pork chops but I havent experienced it with any other meat...

This place is so dirty!! Someone needs to go in there and check for bugs... the floors and underneath crates are disgusting.

Quick in and out however some of the produce was bad. Cashier not overly friendly,but was not rude.

No power chairs available for use. But nice fruits and vegetables.

Horrible customer service, my dad needed change and the cashier was very rude to him and didn’t want to give him change, horrible people, if u work customer service and ur rude this isn’t a job for you . This is the second time this has happen, just go to casselberry one they’re much nicer !

I get specific products there. I visited different locations but Altamonte Spring Location is more clean and bigger than another locations

Its a great supplier of foods for the Latin community. Well loaded with a wide array of products to fulfill everyones requirements

I love this produce. The prices are really good and theirs everything from fruits, veggies and meats for all the different cultures.

Meat and poultry are decent and cheaper than many places. Fruits and veggies so so. Busy store mainly catering to Latinos and asians.all around was ok.

Nice staff lots selection but everything small and old. Was rotted by day three.

Fancy Fruit and Produce offers fresh beef, poultry, and pork at very reasonable prices.I dont care for their vegetables and fruits, they dont have that fresh from the garden appearance and texture.I shop there at least three times a month.

Not as impressive as the one in Longwood, even if this be 4x bigger. Sure they have more choices (incl. meat choices), but the produce was mostly half the freshness and general appeal as the other. And I dont understand why prices are SO different when they are sister stores!

I’m am a loyal customer; have been going since the place opened up religiously every week, and have been very happy until today, I came home and found the Cuban bread was moldy 🤢. The staff is friendly and helpful. Produce is well priced and of good quality.

This use to be a very nice place when it first opened. The floors were dirty. Lots of people without a mask.They are not frequently cleaning since covid-19 has started. I didnt even want to touch a shopping cart. I would rather spend my money where I am not likely to get covid-19.

Looks like a great place for fresh produce and meat. Also noticed a lovely baked goods section. There is a distinct ethnic environment with mostly Goya products. Nevertheless, the produce is awesome and there was some nice looking and fresh meat there as well. Ill be back

Been there a few times and there always was an issue with something but nothing major. This was the final one for me WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN! I was checking out everything was goinging smoothly until olive oil rung up $9.99 but the tiny yellow sign said $7.49 (they dont stamp prices on their items). Sure enough 2 rows of 4 bottles of oil and it said $7.49. The manager then got on his knee. Right above the price in tiny letters that are covered with the shelf overhang he read that this price is for a different oil they no longer carry. His tone was putting the blame on me. I said do you think everyone gets on their knees for every item the purchase to make sure the label matches the product? He said, in a rude voice, if you go to a Toyota Dealership to purchase a car...before he could continue I stopped him first of all Toyota will have a price on each car second what the hell does A Toyota have to do with Olive oil? I told him he hard HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. He kept going in circles without addressing the issue at hand. He then said I bet if it would have rung up lower you wouldnt have complained lets just say all his employees were up front because I lost it. Bottom line I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!

My go to for meats and produce. Great prices. I love the Spanish music playing while Im shopping. Great staff. Not a good stop for cereal or American snacks. All the the Caribbean foods you can ask for!

We absolutely love this place, its was a total blessing when it opened!!! Coming from NYC and moving out here there werent many places that had everything you needed from spices to post! The Meats here are reasonably priced and worth the trip. Loyal customer here... not going anywhere else! FYI if you want to miss most of the lines better to come mid morning to early afternoon.

I liked getting produce here because I can pick them individually and the variety is nice. BUT, I have purchased beef and chicken here twice and both times the meat was bad. The beef smelled sour and the chicken was off. Both times I opened the packages the day I purchased them, so according to the labels they were supposed to be good for many more days. I dont think the sell by dates on the meats are accurate. It has put me off and I dont want to shop here again.

If I could give zero stars I would. Customer service was horrible got home to notice my okra was modeled and steak was bad called the store and they told me to come trade it out I did that and they were rude about it. They all seemed to have attitudes manager did not care at all she shrugged her shoulders in my face and didn’t have a word to say.

Prices are good. Cashiers are rude. Please do better with the service. Too much attitude.

I always shop here. I am from the Virgin Islands and it is hard to find island seasonings and fresh meats and fruits for a reasonable price. But, Fancy Fruit is my go to for everything!!!. I always recommend guests that check in at the hotel that work at that are from Puerto Rico to come here. You can find any and everything that you need if you from the Caribbean islands. My aunt got me shopping here. Now that there is one in Altamonte Springs I couldnt be anymore happy. I love shopping here and would recommend anyone to come here for their groceries

You can afford vegetables again.I go to FFP once a week to find the different Chiles, spices and fruits and vegetables necessary for Hispanic cuisine, and for all around juicing needs. Try it, and you will come back too.

I love coming to this store now, because Ive lived in this area so long and never knew about it. So once I discovered it, my wife and I only come to Fancy Fruit and Produce.

From other fancy produce that Ive been I totally say that this one is the best one. Vegetables fruit and meat were fresh. The market is very organized and the customer service were ok. I definitely coming back to buy the grocery that I cant find in American Markets.

I love this fancy fruit, it has been the cleanest one Ive been to. The employees are nice and the deli area has really good food. I am trying to remember what the name of the beef and potatoe balls are called? My family loves them!

Love this store for fresh fruit, veggies and inexpensive meats. Acceptable prices and nice assortment and Lots of spices you can’t find elsewhere. Employees and management are not friendly but I guess they don’t have to be since there’s no other store like this that competes. I would go here more if they were nicer, so I just go there when I absolutely need something no other place has. I don’t enjoy the experience so I’m in and out as quick as possible. Just FYI to management >>> I’d probably spend more if I enjoyed the experience 🤑. Back to Publix because they seem to appreciate my business. 😊. 5 stars for the nice selection minus 2 stars for the bad attitude.

They dont believe in using heat. There store is colder inside than outside.. Could not shop due to the store being way to cold. We had to leave and go to another store.. We have been going to the store now for about 6 months they raised up their air conditioning so its more enjoyable on shopping at this location before it was so cold you needed a jacket just to walk in the store and you couldnt spend too much time before you needed to get out so hopefully now they can make more money instead of freezing you out what you need to leave. They have good Quality Meats at a good price great produce

Buying your food here is better for you than at a big box grocery store and the prices are way lower, for the most part. What is lacking is customer engagement, but its getting better, slowly. So they get the 5th star.

This is a Spanish grocery store. They have really great prices on their fruits and vegetables. They have meats and dairy as well. They even have a little bakery/food stand inside. Im a Publix shopper all the way, but you cant beat their prices on certain items, like cabbage, cauliflower or spices.

My fiance and I love this place. We are a very budget friendly couple and we are always cooking hispanic meals. They offer a great selection of all the basics that we need, including vegetables, meat, cheese, fruits, eggs, rice and almond milk. We only spend $60 combined on 2 weeks worth of groceries, which we split into $30 each! The only thing we cant purchase here is things like hygienic products and cereal, but we have Walmart and dollar tree for that. Everyone is also very nice at this location and always greets us and asks how our day is at checkout :) We will go here forever!
