I remember coming to this store to shop with my dad (whom was the bearded man with a love bird on his shoulder looking like a modern day pirate) and at times with the whole family. This Jamestown Publix store opened in the 80s and it is still in great condition following with great products and great service. When I was 10 years old I told the store manger that I was going to work there one day. Sure enough as I turned 18 I applied and was hired on the spot in 2003. As of today its been 18 years working here and even more years to coun. This is my store and family, this is homeward bound. Its a pleasure shopping here and to work here.

Love love love this place. Always smiling faces. Great place for lunch or early dinner. Great atmosphere, always willing to help. Always bright and clean. I even changed this place to my pharmacy.

Local Publix very well cleansed and organized, love the staff there, they always have amazing and positive attitudes! Sometimes I end up there late at night to buy a sub and theyre always happy to help and I love and appreciate them for that! Keep it up.

Always amazingly friendly service and the food in the deli is always fresh and great tasting.

They always have smiling cashiers. I love how they stand at the end of the isle to let shoppers know they are available no lines no waiting. Always friendly consistant service at publix no matter which one.

Everything was here was excellent five star. Service whats good the cashier was pleasant I will know everything was great. And Im from Valdosta Georgia so I use Publix a lot they even deliver my groceries to me which keeps me out of the bad weather

Don’t do an online order I guess??? Never had an issue till today I’m not sure how you read my ticket and decide to not put anything other than bread and meat . called someone at the deli and they said they’d look into it and they confirmed they were not out of pickles or lettuce so idk what the issue was lol.

Best Publix in the area. It is a lot less busy than all the others with a smaller parking lot. They dont have as much of a bakery selection as other Publixs is though

Kudos to Michelle in Customer Service as she listened to my story about my milk with a purple top go sour twice with milk still left in the jug both times and she offered a replacement gallon. Both 1/2 gallon jugs had 4-6 days left before expiration. We Love shopping at this Publix

Always find good deals, fresh produce, nice and good cared flowers. Love Mrs Carol and the young Maria when they work together. They really make a great team.

Love shopping at Publix And you can order deli items on line and they will have them ready for you with your name on them for pick-up. Deli has a great selection of lunch meats, salads, entrees and some of the best fried chicken you have ever had. The bakery is sinful, cakes and breads baked fresh and with wholesome ingredients. Great cheese and wine selections and the butchers will make cuts to order. Friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable staff. They dont just tell what aisle an item is on, they will walk you to it and show you exactly where it is located.

This is the best Publix in the area hands down!! I order subs online almost one a week from this location and I ask for very specific custom things and they get it correct every time. I am able to enjoy my lunch every time I get a sub from here. Thank you for the great service!

Had to wait over 10 minutes to buy a head of lettuce because the cashier took my money and then locked her drawer without giving me change for a $20 dollar bill. Then the assistant manager was rude

Great I shopped at a different Publix and I forgot my coupons and this Publix did not have a problem giving me my cash back on the coupon when I brought them in. They were wonderful. Thank you and I shopped again with them. No coupon at that time. Great store!

The pharmacist, a woman with short red hair, was extremely rude to the older woman next to me trying to get information about her vaccine appointment. Then she was very rude to me when I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my prescription. Her solution was throwing a piece of paper in my face and saying, “I’m not going to argue with you about it, here.” Glad to know the pharmacist cares about the patients/customers. I called the day before and they said that my prescription would be ready today, I go out of town tomorrow so it was extremely important that the pharmacy provide me the correct information so that I could have the medicine I need on my trip.I then spoke with the manager about how the pharmacist treated me, and the other customer, he didn’t seem to care and just said that it didn’t sound like her. Glad he takes customer service seriously. I will go out of my way to avoid this Publix in the future.UPDATE: I called the Publix on Longwood Hills and the pharmacist was not only able to find the problem with the prescription but she filled it immediately. She was amazing and very kind, I will highly recommend the Longwood Hills Publix pharmacy from now on!

I love this publix but i need to write this complain with my heart broken because for me is the best bit i never in my live i see a manager so rude to my son and law here last night. He only ask her if she cam check hes balance in wic because ahe told him she cant do it and when he wento the register for paid something he ask the cashier if she cab do the favor and the manager came again so rude and told the cashier No You Can do it and he feel so sad and he feel. So sad and ours are a regular customer i went every day to this stores

Young man in the deli was extremely helpful, and even made a batch of the bowtie pasta salad I needed. I didnt catch his name but wanted to acknowledge his AWESOME customer service!!! Thank you!

Its always a pleasure to shop at Publix. This Jamestown location was extra friendly today. 3 different people stopped to ask me if they could help me with anything while I looked somewhat perplexed. Not used to this particular layout because its not my regular Publix but they were very welcoming and helpful.

I love this location because it almost always has that oddball item that I need. Ive been searching for Sichuan peppers forever or at least it seems and today I took a look and there they were in a grinder ready to rock. The associates are always friendly the store is always clean. If you have a choice and i know you do since there are 4 or 5 within a couple miles of one another, this is the one to go to. Thanks for making my day with always having the odd stuff.

Most employees can’t figure out how to wear a mask properly and teens can just disregard the rules and not wear a mask at all.. no employees seem to care. Don’t shop here if you want to feel safe from COVID.

We eat wraps there all the time. Chicken tender wraps; some employees don’t make it right .... kind of a loose mess..... But the girl that made it today 3-5-2020 at 2:00 pm DID AN EXCELLENT JOB !!It was amazing. Thank you very much. I hope they let you know you did a great job and I hope they always have you make them because if they do then every one will always be satisfied.

Surprising, that on a Saturday, so few checkout lines were open and the ones that were open had lines extended down the shopping aisles. Had I not needed what I was buying I would have left. No express lanes open so we went to customer service to check out only to get stuck behind someone buying a multitude of lottery tickets. Well choose a different Publix next time.

I prefer this location over any other in the Altamonte area, Ive been going to this same publix location for years and Ive never had any major problems, they have the same products as the other publixs in this area and the staff here are the best compared to any other publix, most of the cashiers are nice to you and anytime you pass by an employee stocking the shelves theyll ask how you are, the deli staff always get my online orders done early unless theyre swamped with orders, the bakery staff always asks me if I need help when they see me and the meat department staff have always been willing to check in the back for certain meats I couldnt find. Truly the best publix!

Stopped shopping here altogether. was tired of my deli and bakery orders either not being ready yet or being told we never got it when i gave plenty of advance warning with an online order and showed they proof of confirmation to their location. in all honesty, why is this old store even still open? there are 2 other publix stores within 2 miles of this one that are better.

This publix has always been great when it comes to being clean and managers are great. But every time I go there and I have to deal with Carol, who is a cashier, she is the rudest and snottiest person on this planet. I never complained before because she’s elderly and I don’t want to cause trouble but just because she’s olderDoesn’t mean she gets to treat customers like theyre beneath her. Carol, learn some customer service skills please. When someone asks for cash back you get an attitude like if it’s your money you’re giving away.
