Tried calling to let them know I was stuck in traffic and kept getting routed to the call center. I feel like since covid customer service has dropped everywhere and the customer service for helping truck drivers really sucks because assurion cant seem to take care of getting our phones fixed or replaced unless we can wait. Its Impossible for over the road drivers to sit and wait for an extreme amount of time we lose money waiting.

Ordered a device after finding it was in stock and available for same day pickup. Drove an hour to get there after confirming store hours online and by phone. Only to find a piece of paper taped to the door saying they close at 6 due to shortage of staff. COVID has been around for over a year. Why would you close earlier rather than open later to make the store accessible to those who work normal hours and have a job which allows them to pay for their phone. The store has been very helpful in the past but this was ridiculous and felt like an excuse to cut employee cost on Verizon’s part.

Not sure if it the pandemic that is causing the customer service to suffer or just lack of care. I made an appointment as instructed, then was told it would be an hour before we could be helped. Then I received the text, after the appointment time, to come in. Had the person at the door asked if we had an appointment and checked the schedule, this would not have been so frustrating. I very much like this business and have been a customer since 2002 and have experienced vastly better service in the past. I know they can provide excellent customer service but they failed this time. The pandemic should help businesses strive for top notch services to the customers so their business will continue to grow and thrive.

Third time this week I’ve tried going in. I was asked to leave & that there was at least an hours wait even though a couple with at least 4 kids walked in just in front of me & were being helped. I did not even need help, if so I would have waited at counter. Last time I was told I had to make an appointment. I was the only one in the back of the store went in to see a device. If there were to many people perhaps they should have asked the ones before me to have kids wait outside with a parent rather than a paying customer. Texas has been open for months, restaurants are at 100% & no other business is acting this way. I tried three times but will move to TMobile & add the 3 devices & lines over there. I told him so on the way out & was told there “was no one to help me” rather than asking if I even needed it. There is only one person there I would allow to help me anyway (Chuy) everyone else has always screwed everything up & made a mess he had to untangle. Their service works but so do all the others here. The attitude & customer service are the worst. I’m done.

Tall feet a five star because tall really took care of me and resolved the complications which I was having with my phone. I want receiving phone calls but now I am with whatever it is that was done, Im satisfied and appreciate you guys. Not only the worst customer service in the industry but also flat out false advertising and breach of contract. I have 2 phones from the company at a cost of over $2000 plus I pay $500 a month for the best service including same day replacement if the phones are damaged came to this store and was met at the door by the same employee, Wendy, who so many of these complaints are concerned with. She refused to let me in the store without a mask on, I have a medical condition the precludes and excludes me from wearing a mask. She stated it Verizon policy and that they dont do replacements and she does not care about about my business, my contract or state ordinances. Now Ive been on hold with customer care for an hour, store is closing. They breached contract and committed theft

Wouldnt let me in the store without a mask. None of the online sites work, the automated phone system doesnt work, the bill reminder links dont work: pictured here, they cant make changes over the phone, this has been a scam and a half. I thought at&t was bad, but this might be worse unless connectivity is your only goal. I can at least hear people on the other end. Digital streaming best where i live, but all the drawbacks of an unfunctional payment system and the choas of Verizons website make this company a disaster.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We have been Verizon customers for over 9 years and actually almost switched carriers over this.We went in last night to turn my Google Pixel in for warranty after speaking to Google. The phone has been RANDOMLY turning off and not turning back on, in the middle of messaging, or while in use. We have an eligible upgrade on our lines so we were thinking about using that to switch to a new iPhone and then giving our daughter the Pixel after it was replaced through warranty.Erick helped us and was extremely rude and cocky. He told us to show him what it was doing and we explained that it will randomly shut off and not turn back on, that there doesnt seem to be any common factor when it does this. He told us he had to see the problem in order to turn it in. We again explained that its random but it does it everyday at various times that we have no control over. My husband let him know we had already spoken with Google and they told us to turn it in for warranty as it was obviously malfunctioning and upon research it was actually a common problem with the Google Pixel and many had to be replaced. Erick then told us Google isnt MY boss. So we then asked to speak to the manager because his tone was totally uncalled for.Were looking to spend another $900 on another device and they seem to refuse to help with a device thats obviously defective.My husband then tried to speak to the manager Lance and let him know the situation and without even listening, cuts him off and tells my husband no, if they cant recreate the issue they arent going to send it in. They tell us to call customer service because theyll do it but in the store they are refusing.So my husband does call Verizon customer service and they tell him he needs to turn the phone in and asks my husband to hand the phone over to the manager. The manager tells the rep he will not take the phone because its an issue we cant recreate, so it doesnt exist. They suggest to us to factory reset the phone, which we already have. Then they tell us to not install ANY applications on the device and see if that stops the issue. If it stops the issue then the applications are not good with this device and to not use them. So essentially you can have a smart phone but not install any applications on your device or else it will malfunction instead of just replacing the defective device and giving us one that works properly with all applications.We finally had to call customer service again today and guess what?! They said it was a common issue and we should never have been turned away from submitting it for warranty!! Everything went smoothly and my replacement, non defective device, will be here in a few days. Sounds as though they were just too lazy to do their actual jobs! Will NOT return unless Hell freezes over.

Honestly, this place is awesome. I had gone to another Verizon store, they had told me I couldnt keep the phone that I had and that Id have to get a new one. The guy that greeted me at this one greeted me with a smile, and a can-do attitude. We were able to keep my phone, and all the stuff that went with it. So thank you so much!!!

We had a great experience with Erik and Verizon in general. We have better service in the Amarillo area as compared to our old AT&T phones, and the customer service is night and day. They worked with us to navigate all their offers and get us the best deal on service and new phones. After 15 years, all my old carrier said was this is what we have.

Stopped here to pick up a couple watch phones for the kids. They were in stock and on special however our salesman didnt know anything about them, he said he was new. After telling him which ones we wanted he told me they would be $10 dollars per month each on top of my plan in which I had already checked into and I informed him they should only be $5 each. When he came back with the watches he told me he spoke with his manager and they indeed were going to be $10 dollars each on top of my plan. (Again I knew he was wrong but I said okay lets get these things.) He started on the first one and to his SURPRISE... guess what, they were only $5 each on top of my plan!!! Crazy right?! Anyway he THEN informed me of a $30 dollar activation on top of the price of EACH watch in order to use them. Let me tell you guys something, the two watches were $29.99 and $49.99 approx $80 bucks for both. I said I wasnt going to basically pay double the prices (another 60 bucks) of the watches to activate them. Id understand this on a $500, $800 or $1000 dollar phone but on a $30 dollar watch?! He said they couldnt do anything about it. I LEFT and he said thats just the way it is... *Fast forward to about 20 minutes later with a phone call to Verizon corporate. I then had a phone on its way to my door for 30 dollars with NO 30 dollar activation fee (she WAIVED it no problem as she understood how cheap these watches were) and only 5 dollars per month on top of my plan. EASY. FAST. CONVENIENT. Exactly the opposite of every experience I had when I walked into that store. A later phone call to the manager of his store to tell him about this and he also told me that he still couldnt take off the 30 dollar activation fee for each watch and that each watch would be 10 dollars per month each! These guys just dont know customer service let alone anything about their own product and pricing... If you walk in here its your own fault.

I dont usually want to say anything negative about a place, but I wish my visit would have gone better. I initially arrived willing to spend some money on a new phone. I walked in and was not greeted by someone until one of the employees that was already assisting a customer had to tell the Group of employees slacking off that I was waiting to be helped. The representative helping me was cordial. They asked what they could help with, I said that I needed to order the Pixel 2 XL. I planned on spending the cash I had brought with me that day. The rep offered me no accessories to look at, no gadgets to play with. I later bought $600 worth of random gizmos and accessories online. I didnt go to Best buy mostly because of how busy they get. We finished my transaction and I asked the rep where I could find my shipping info and when I should be expecting the device. I already knew when I should expect it (Nov 8th), but I wanted to hear what they were going to say. I was told 3 days from my purchase date. If at all possible I do try and avoid this location because of things like this, but I do believe they are one if the only if not the only corporate location in town.

As an AT&T customer looking to switch, I walked into this location only to walk right on out. The gentleman that greeted me had no interest in helping or trying to find a phone to suit my needs. He then proceeded to disrespect me by talking down to me like I didnt know what I was talking about. As I was leaving all three associates huddled around and began talking and chuckling as I watched from my truck. Terrible customer service and piss poor interpersonal communication skills, coincidentally all three were on their phones. As much as I wanted to check out other providers, I think I will stick with AT&T...

They called the police on us for audio recording our complaint to the manager, Wendy Quartarero, while telling me I’m not allowed to make any complaints to her about her employees. They stood mocking us, calling us Snowflakes, and recorded us on their own phones even though audio recording was their reason to kick us out.After being threatened with police, we changed to video recording and are still appalled by the level of insanity this business operates with.Original complaint was on the Reps abusive behavior towards us, along with saying we’d have to pay 40$ extra, on top of the $199.99 retail charge, to replace the hotspot we activated two days ago that wasn’t working right.This company showed us tonight that Verizon is not for anyone that believes in not being treated abusively by businesses.

Bad experience. Yours may vary. Wanted 2 lines with new equipment. Sales person was enthusiastic but somewhat unsure regarding many details. Purchased one new phone with a line. Got home, prepared to use new phone-it was locked. After an hour with tech support apparently my new phone was not. Next day returned to store (a 28 mile trip each way) to speak with manager who confirmed the phone was indeed used. Apparently staff had used the equipment then returned to new inventory. Cancelled new service. What an operation.

Awful service. Gave me a faulty phone, had to return it and wait for a new one to ship. I ordered a glass screen protector online so I didnt have to spend THIRTY FIVE dollars on a piece of glass instead of seven. So, I want this screen protector to be put on great and I dont trust myself with it. A store in Dallas had no problem doing this for me. So, I wait here, 30 minutes for this doofy employee to come up to me. He recognizes that I didnt buy the screen protector in the store, and says he isnt responsible if he messes up. I tell him jokingly not to screw up. He runs off with my phone and screen protector, shortly comes back saying it was broken when I took it out of the package. Actually, I know it wasnt. Doofy employee tries to persuade me into buying an expensive piece of glass, I of course deny and leave. Dont go here for your own sanity.

Had to go in there this past week to purchase a new phone, I knew what I wanted only waited about 5 minutes before getting to the checkout line. They put you in a queue and you have the ability to make appointments, if you really wanted to. I more or less knew what I wanted, but overhearing the support staff in the store it did seem like they knew what they were doing. I was wary about going into the store after reading some of these reviews, but it wasnt that bad! If you dont like this one theres a couple of authorized retailers you can go to in Amarillo. However, there is a price difference of about $50 per phone. This verizon store charges whats shown online, the retailers charge more for the same thing.

Really wish I could rate this store a Half star, careful when you enter through the doors of this company. After spending $50.00 on a case and about $40.00 for a phone screen protecter along with the cost of the iPhone 7 upgrade you would think your phone would be protected? Few months later I dropped my phone onto the carpet of my house, and the protection screen had a spider web crack across the screen. Then it went into an Infinite loop of the Apple Logo to where it could not start. I personally tried to hard reset my phone which worked, but when backing up my phone it kept receiving an error code (4016 I believe was the numbers) which called for a replacement battery. So the following friday that this happened, I drove to the Verizon Store right off Coulter (7203 I-40 West, Set M, Amarillo, Tx 79106) expecting great customer service, upon arriving to the store, after telling my rep the problems that have occurred and how I attempted to fix my problem. She then proceeded to take the same steps I took and after she preformed the hard reset on my phone it went to the please insert into laptop device for backup. So they told me it will take about an hour and a half to get my problem fixed. Did some things I needed to do, came back to them having the same error code I got (Crazy right?) Then told me that they can order me a replacement phone as long as it does not have physical or liquid damage. But they did not take any assessment on my phone to see if it had any physical damages upon it. So under the circumstances that the phone screen protecter and the phone case has done its job I ordered a replacement phone from the store. Later upon receiving my new phone that Monday/Tuesday and I sent back the phone that was not working, I get a charge later that week of $329 for a damaged iPhone. After being on the phone for an hour on two separate occasions The rep I spoke to (can not remember her name) and her manager Allen said they both have told me that the phone was bent before I ever sent it in. Which they never one told me, now Im in a he said she said argument with the customer service supervisor of Verizon and the manager of the store. The supervisor clearly has to take the side of the store, when all of this could of easily been avoided if the rep and manager actually took the 5 minutes it took to look at my device to tell me if it was damaged or not. (the damage was a bent encasing on the iPhone) To the naked eye, or to a customer of verizon who does not know the every last detail of an iPhone 7 could not be able to tell it was bent. If knowing the device had damage done to it I would of made a claim to the insurance, which would of been $200.00 almost $150.00 cheaper than the service the company provides. The supervisor could only give me a 10% discount which 10% of $350.00 is $35.00 nowhere near what I could of paid for a new phone from my insurance and save that money for food, rent, other bills that most of us have. All of this could of been avoided if they just would of put 5 minutes of their paid time of working at a verizon store to tell me that my phone had a bend to it. They could of saved me money, and more importantly they could of saved themselves from getting 1. A terrible review of their company and customer service, and 2. Could still have a paying customer with their service, that has been with their service for over 10 years. But Im guessing our customer loyalty does not mean a thing to this company or corporation, I dont even want the phone for free, Im perfectly fine with paying $200.00 for a replacement phone that i accidentally dropped, but for them to say that they did inform me that my phone was bent and there is nothing they can do about it is just pathetic, I would avoid this store and more than likely this company at all costs, its not worth being treated like youre just another commission sale to them. The problem still has yet to be resolved, and I will still have to pay the full amount they have charged, the great thing is though AT&T and or Sprint will buy out your contracts!

The service rep said their was nothing he could do for us, my wifes phone and my phone were cutting off and no notice of it until phone was needed and we both use our phones for work. I told him I pay the warranty every month to get these type of problems fixed and I wasnt going to argue with him but both phones needed to be replaced. He did get replacement phones after I had to tell him to do his job. I then went to the manager to complain about the customer service and in the conversation he stated that the problem with my phone is that I apparently do not know how to use the charger in regards to plug /unplug it since this was the second time I had the same problem with it. I told him he is crazy and I will never go back to his store and I may have to cancel my account with them because he actually blamed me for the repeated phone issue. After I calmed down I called Verizons customer service number and explained how I was treated and they could not believe it and apologized and made sure the phones were on the way. They also stated the phone I had, was replaced with an upgraded version because the Droid Maxx had problems and including the charging port failing prematurely, unbelievable right? I asked them to note that while in the remarks on my complaint through them about the store so it would be noted that the problem I took the phone in for was a legitimate problem and their manager had no clue and actually blamed me for being too ignorant basically to use a charger correctly. The Verizon customer service said to call them anytime when I need help so I dont get upset with their manager and employee again instead of going to the store that cant even do their job.

My experience was HORRIBLE! !! I had a gentleman put a screen protector on and he some how rebooted my entire phone!!!!!!! I lost my pictures of a very important occasion and all my music and any kind of notes!!!!!!!!!How can u possibly mess an entire phone up, placing a screen protector on!I dont even want to give it a star UT it wont let me post without one!

I went into the Verizon store with my girlfriend on Wednesday because we pre-ordered the Galaxy S8 in store.Everything was as planned except the color.When we went in he walked up to us and asked us what he could help with.He assured us that it would be no problem that we could exchange it for the color we wanted.Although due to the demand there was currently no orchid grey phones in stalk.He told us that there should be more on Friday and that we could just swap it out.Then he gave us his card with his name on it (Erick Gutierrez).When we came on Friday and asked to swap out the artic grey phone for a orchid grey phone.A different person approched me also with first name Erick .And the one that pre-ordered the phone was no where to be seen and disapeared when we tried to point him out.Then proceeded to tell me that I would need to pay an extra 35 dollars​ because the orchid grey cost extra .My girlfriends mother had also pre-ordered the same phone, so we were aware of how the total should be . Even though the phone had already been purchased and we shouldnt have to pay again for the restocking fee due to their error.He refused to let us speak to a manager or any one else .

I wish I can give zero rate! Sale representative,Cory, was very rude and bad customer services I have ever seen. I bought an Apple Watch and the watch was different from what the box said. Of course, i return to the store because is wrong one. They charge me $35 restocking fee. I will buy my new phone with AT&T. Don’t buy anything from Verizon!!
