I almost always get asked if I need help finding anything.
We went here because our printer was having issues and we had a package getting picked up the next day. They were super rude, very short with us and not helpful getting things printed. It was a horrible experience and we will never be coming back to this store
I ordered photos from office depot, as they did turn out really well the sizing was off. I ordered 11x14 prints and ended up with 10.5x14 prints. Which obviously doesnt fit my 11x14 frame exactly... There is a gap on both sides. When I called to find out if there was a mistake in printing they said that they only have 11 paper and that it prints not to bleed, so basically they cant print a true 11x14 and shouldnt advertise that they can. The prints are great quality and the price was better than other places so thats why I only deducted one star.I would reccomend changing the meassurments online so that people know exactly what theyre paying for. We order based on frame size... .5 inches is going to make a difference. Please let your customers know what they are purchasing.
This store has a super nice and helpful staff. Whenever I go they have all of they’re stuff sorted out and are there to help. The whole store was very clean compared to competing stores and everything I’ve ever needed here has been in stock.
My friend got me my own Twilight Imperium board game. As you either know, or can find out, this is not a cheap game, and as such I wanted to protect some of the components that came with it by means of lamination. I dropped it off and when my wife picked them up on her way home and brought them back to me, there were some very obvious problems. The store was closed by this point so the next day (today) I took it back and talked to Daniel, whom I believe is the manager of that section of the store. He spent probably a half hour to 45 minutes making things right and fixing the issue. I am truly grateful for the time he spent on this. I understand screw ups happen, but its how a company responds to those screw ups that matter most, and as such, because of Daniels excellent help, I can only rate this experience as 5 stars. Thanks again Daniel if you happen to see this. I truly appreciate it.
I was looking for an office chair in your American Fork location, and an employee, Austin, offered his assistance even though he was clearly busy with other tasks. He took the initiative to get me taken care of by looking into any potential chair options within my price range and found one after an extensive effort. He then walked me up to the front, got me checked out, and even helped me out to my car. From the minute Austin saw me, he took initiative and offered his assistance all the way through my departure from the store. Thank you, sir, for the fantastic experience!
I stopped by to pick up a print order. When I got there and my order wasnt right. Daniel was super busy with other customers, but he juggled them with ease while fixing my mistake. He was a pro in every sense of the word. Thank you for getting it fixed so promptly.
If youre ordering from the copy center, make sure you know what you want before you go in. The people working are less than helpful, and expect you to know exactly what theyre asking no matter the question.
Its been quite a while since Ive been to an Office Depot. The inventory is definitely lower, probably because apps on our phones have replaced many of the organizer tools office supply stores sold. Many more employees than customers, for sure. Im not sure what this store has that Costco, Amazon or a phone app does not.
Excellent service and large choice of products.
Awesome store to get office supplies. Helpful staff. Quick service. Loads and loads of office supply options. We went there to print something because our printer was dying. It was quick and turned out great. This store is in such an awesome location as well!
Dont bother going here to print anything. This was seriously was the weirdest visit Ive ever had trying to get something printed out. The guy Daniel spent more time telling me things he couldnt do or extra charges i would have to pay if i did certain things than he did asking what i needed help with. Since when do businesses spend time trying to convince you not to use them for service?First he said his print guy wasnt working and hed have to place an order for any bigger job. Thats fine and i told him I just needed some papers printed out real fast. After that he said he wouldnt be able to do any spiraling or hole punching. Then he said he couldnt print out any copyrighted material. Then he told me if i didnt print something worth at least $2.50 he would have to charge me $2.50. Then he said I could just use the self help printers.Ive been going to office depots to print for a couple of years now out in the midwest and this store just convinced me to find somewhere else. Thanks for the help in talking me into going somewhere else Daniel.
What kind of a store closes at 7pm on a Saturday?
Horrible service! The employees must hate there job or just be uneducated on how to treat customers.
Awesome customer service, super nice staff. And Ryan Nelson is the NICEST man 👨 have ever met!
I went to get some scans of some important drawings I made. I did it on A3 paper, which is a standard size commonly printed and scanned. However, the girl charged me 3 DOLLARS each paper. I asked why, since the last girl charged the normal rate of 25 cents a page. in her words The paper size is unusual and she had to adjust it by hand in the scanner. Poor thing, had to do a little extra work. Whats more, she did a low quality grayscale bitmap scan, so the scans came back pixellated and impossible to properly edit in photoshop. FOR 3 DOLLARS A PAGE.Whats more, the dude working alongside her kept referring to customers as Boss like What do you need, Boss? or Whatever you need, Boss. It made me uncomfortable and seemed condescending. Definitely not a professional way to interact with customers.I would not recommend this location for the print shop.
I brought my PC in for a diagnostic. Ashton was able to look at it the same day. He figured out what was wrong and helped me understand how to avoid the problem. He was very competent, and friendly. Awesome help and great service.
They had some amazing deals but when I got there they had NOTHING left of the sale items. I would have gotten over that if I had been able to find anyone that wasnt to busy not working to look for anything for me. I will drive to Orem from now on.
Sat on a bunch of chairs. They need more selection of gaming chairs though. They are the most comfortable. They need some more selection of standing desks too
I came in a little frazzled today as I needed to make about 1,000 copies in a short amount of time. Sam helped me and went above and beyond. He and Andrew both displayed excellent customer service and I was able to get in and out in a short amount of time. Thanks guys!
Worst customer service ever. Need a print, don’t worry, they can’t help. Need to make a copy on their copy machine? Don’t worry, it’s broken or no one is willing to help. The people at the print counter need to take their job more seriously. I don’t know why I try to go here, location convenience I guess. I would say avoid this place at ALL costs.
Purchased an hp laptop for Christmas and the laptop has NEVER worked from the start but because it was purchased at the beginning of December and not opened or used until Christmas which is outside their 14-day return policy I was told I’m out of luck for a refund! $650 down the drain! 😡
I can NEVER get out of there in less than 45 mins- 1 hour. They never have enough employees there and today there was an employee there who was folding papers while there were seven people in line waiting who needed to print?! And they will always try to get you used to the self-print machine that do not work and are painfully slow. Also, none of the employees seem to know how to work the printers or the cash registers and that is concerning. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
I bought an office chair here for my home office and loved it so much that I wanted to get one for my office at work. To my dismay, the chair was no longer on sale for $199. When I asked the manager, he reduced the price for me to what I originally paid. Great service. Thanks!
Terrible customer service at the print desk! I went to ask some questions about how much it would cost for a job and the woman who helped me acted extremely defensive. I just needed a basic quote and she wouldn’t even walk behind the counter to see what she could do for me. Stood there and told me I would have to actually ring the job up before she could give me a price. Not even a ballpark? She treated me terribly. I don’t know how they get any business. Thumbs down
Had the school supplies I needed and the staff was helpful in locating the paper size that I couldnt find on the shelf.
I went in to have an assignment printed (like I do every week), the lady looked at it and just said I cant no explanation on why. I asked her and she said because there was a character on my assignment and she couldnt print it. Even though I had my character correctly credited.
Tried to return an unopened ink cartridge. Wasn’t within their 30 day return window. Very unapologetic and rude. Definitely would not recommend this location.
If youre looking for a place that has people that want to help... or a place where you can even find people, dont go here. They might as well change this store to a self service model. If you can, go to Wal Mart or Target, you at least get it cheaper, and go in getting what you expect. You would probably get more help too.
They told me on the phone that they bind books that are up to three inches thick. The book I wanted done was not even 2 inches. I got there and they said it was too thick.
6:30 pm 2/27/19 Wed night, why I continue to use this place is so far beyond me. The last three times I’ve been in here I’ve either walked out without what I was looking for or I had to track someone down to help me. The girls up front(one on her phone and the other locker to her cashier) both looked at me like I was from another country. After searching for over 45 min down every isle I asked for the things you put on a peice of paper to repair it if it rips out of your binder. One girls says “uh, I don’t know.” The girl on her phone says “if it has to do with binding it’s over there under the purple sign that says binding.”Neither one offering any more assistance than that. Finally search the internet, find the name of it, make sure Office Depot carries it and it wasn’t just something I made up in my head from my childhood and go searching for assistance again. Finally I grab a guy who refuses to make eye contact and ask, “ do you work here?” He said “ya” I showed him what I needed on my phone and he walked me over and said “here they are on the bottom shelf.” And walked away. I took it to the cashier and said “these are what I was looking for and I swear at that point I was in the movie Clueless. She said “oh yeah, there is just so many things h ere. Haha” I’m done with this place.
We printed our wedding invitations here two different times because we needed more after the first round. Quinn was super helpful and quick. He printed & cut them at a good price. However for our 30 extra ones, the printing manager Colton refused to do them for the same price. He insisted that the other salesman made a mistake and he cannot charge us the same for our extras we needed. For printing we were charged The regular price but if we wanted them to cut them (as they had previously), they wouldve charged us $50 extra. We had to cut them ourselves to save money AND he has printed some of the backs upside down so we had to go back in the next day and have those reprinted. I asked if they could cut the 7 fixed pages for us since they messed up and we had already cut all the rest and he refused without charging us $8 per page. All in all, the manager Colton is condescending and rude whereas the rest of the employees were helpful. I recommend going when the manager isnt there or going to the Provo location.
I just got back from Office Depot at this location today (Halloween). I was pleasantly surprised. I usually avoid stores like this because I feel the prices can sometimes be more money but after having an employee at Hobby Lobby point me to the wrong product and not having that product work I decided to give Office Depot a try. I was able to find the correct product area quickly (everything was labeled well) and while looking for exactly what I wanted was approached by an employee to see if I needed help. He wasnt pushy, (I am very shy and get nervous easily) and was very helpful. He showed me a couple of options that I hadnt seen and then let me make my own choice. After helping me I heard the employee helping another customer whos English was fairly proficient but somewhat limited when asking for something very specific. He was very kind and patient with her. He didnt treat her any different than he treated me. I thought that was awesome! I wish I had remembered to look at his name tag. All I can remember was that he was a little older (older than 40) and tall.Since it was Halloween the employee asked me if my son (he is almost 3) could have a treat (I was grateful that he didnt just assume). I said he could and the employee was very patient while my son picked one out. We had been at Costco earlier that day and my son wasnt given a candy at the door because he wasnt dressed in a costume. That was my fault not my sons fault (he was wearing his Sunday clothes as part of his costume and I thought that he better not wear it while eating samples). He didnt say anything but I could see that he noticed. Basically my son was very surprised and very excited when he got a treat at Office Depot. The cashier was also nice and kind to my son.The sticker paper I initially bought at Hobby Lobby was $4ish dollars after a 40% off coupon for 3 sheets of the wrong kind of sticker paper. The sticker paper I bought at Office Depot was $12ish for 25 sheets of the correct kind of sticker paper! I know where I am going the next time that I need anything of this nature again.
Thank you Matt for the excellent professional shopping experience.Always able to find what Im looking for and the staff is helpful.
Very disappointed. The place is now so overpriced I can no longer in good conscience shop here. Topping it off the product selection has gone from decent to garbage. Wont be back.
Worst experience thus far at Office Depot. They had a buy 2 get one free promotion on Avery labels. So I decided to get 3 boxes of labels. I was purchasing on my biz account and they spent about 30 minutes trying to give me the promotion. Their system would not allow it. I was already late for my appt so I told them I would just purchase them without the discount. They were relieved when I said this. So I ended up paying 40 dollars more than they were advertising. After I told them I would just pay for it cause I had to leave it still took another 10 minutes for them to check me out! Stuff like this is why Amazon will run these guys out of business. Not customer oriented! Im not a happy customer.
Andrew from Wales, the employee who helped me, was really fun and friendly and made my experience at Office Depot really awesome.
I will not be going back. Every time I go to print I get someone who doesnt know what they are doing. I pay for 1 hour printing and it is not done within the hour. One of their printers is always not working or they are out of the paper I need. They give random excuses for themselves and Im tired of dealing with them and Im generally very flexible but this is ridiculous. I will be driving out of my way to Staples for now on.
Helpful, carried all my paper and water when they were lacking in carts.
Great customer service and good prices.
Really nice and helpful. I really like this location. Work with them if you have the chance.
Customer service was awful. We had to wait around for 20 minutes before someone came to the register. Tried to buy erasers to go towards a charity and they were changing 5X the marked price (they had in print 3 per household, but it was really really small) but would not do the discount price even though they are all going to different households. And when I said they would go to different house hold because they kits were all being sent to different kits in Jordan and Lebanon. And the lady said if the kids want them they can come here and get them. If they can only afford a stick and dirt for their school supplies do you really think they can come out here and buy your erasers. Think people use your brains. And they were very rude about all of it.
Worst customer service!! At the copy and print station today!! Everytime I have gone in and had to use their computer to print they let me but today the older lady who must be new, ignored me standing there for 5 minutes then when I asked if I could do that she told me no thats not allowed so I started to say that is weird because I always do this and she just walked away mid sentence to help someone else and did not acknowledge me afterwards or offer a different solution. She was very rude and offered no help.
We used the business center to print programs and the staff, especially Tammy, was so helpful and understanding and made a frustrating situation so smooth. Thank you!
Fast, friendly and helpful with an extra discount thrown in.
Great service at the print shop. Email your documents and they are printed promptly.
Amazing customer service in the print shop. I had a last minute emergency and they exceeded my expectations.
Pretty normal for an office store. Its always very clean, and the staff professional and helpful.
Saw 6 employees in the store during my visit, always in pairs of two, standing together, talking amongst themselves. I wandered through the store trying to find some items and wasnt having any luck. No employees asked if they could help me, even when I walked right next to them. Two of them even turned their backs and walked away as I approached the area they were standing in and moved a few aisles down so they could continue their conversation in privacy.
The whole order printed on the wrong color paperPart of the order was printed landscape when it obviously should have been printed portraitNone of the order was straightNext time I will go literally anywhere else.
Good staff that was knowledgeable and helpful.
A good Office Depot location that has helpful staff.
Apparently there is incompetent management. Cant get anything copied without 48 hours notice. Never happened previously.
They had the paper I was looking for. Friendly service.
I went to two stores looking for generic steel bookends. I finally found them at Office Depot. I should have started @ Office Depot.
Great prices fast and easy!
Great selection of quality Office Products.
Ok but not much help
Good for Office Supplies and furniture.
Extremely slow printing services, stood in line for twenty minutes to be told Id have to wait hours for the job to be done.
Office Depot in AF has everything youre looking for in regards to office supplies, but many of the employees are not very polite.
Was told on the phone they had a cable I was looking for, drove in from Eagle Mountain only to find they didnt have any at all
Great deals.
That’s what I’m talking about!!!
It took a really long time to get just a couple of things laminated but they turned out well.
No help from employees.
Staff was friendly and helpful
Everything I need for office supplies.
Great deals and offers
Hard to get any assistance
