Great service. Brought my computer in with a hardware issue. I was interested in upgrading anyways. They gave me fair trade in value for my computer and got me in my new rig just a day or two later. Great service! Yeah they are a little on the expensive side but the labor and parts warranty makes it worth it.

I recently went in and Tyler came right up and helped me as I walked in the door. I couldnt get my computer to do anything and was frustrated. Tyler remained calm as he worked on my computer telling me what he was doing every step of the way. His tech skills can only be matched by his people skills. What a great employee I walked out and my problems were solved. A great day for this guy that knows nothing about what he types on every day.

Predatory business model based on a so called life-time warranty to highly inflate prices. They prey on the PC specifications tech illiterate by lulling them into a false sense of security by giving assurances that you are getting a high quality laptop or PC which is covered under a life-time warranty so itll always be functional and you wont have to have any worries. This sounds great on the surface until you take a deeper dive into what is actually happening versus what they say. The PC prices are massively inflated which they justify by also selling you a life-time warranty. What is this life-time warranty though? Any type of PC or PC part has a very vast devaluation in value due to the highly competitive nature in the manufacturing and development of new components which are used to build PCs. Thus any life-time warranty is already useless as by the time youd ever use such a farce those parts would be out of date. And any other time would be because you simply got a defective laptop due to there simply being defective laptops which are manufactured or damaged during transit.Then you do have one of these life-time warranty needed events with your PC and you take it into their store to use what they sold to you for massively inflated prices and they hold your laptop for many days which is likely just sitting on a shelf until a timer eventually goes off and they call you and tell you your laptop cannot be fixed and is useless and there is nothing they can do, thus not having to actually honor their life-time warranty which is what they supposedly sell with their laptops, but there are likely many terms and conditions hidden in this which allows them to circumvent having to actually fix your laptop if they deem some criterion, but of course they dont show you the fine print as they are just shoving down your throat life-time warranty and assuring you concerns and worries as anything said verbally is not under contract, just what you sign at the end of the process when you purchase the laptop or PC.I urge anyone who has ever seen any relative owning a laptop or PC from PC laptops to actually look at what their relative got. Ask them what they paid for it and what the specs are, and youll see it is literally a laptop priced at 2-3x market rates based on the specs and is a complete scam. And this 2-3x market rate increase so called justified with their life-time warranty, which doesnt actually exists. Then when you see its a scam yourself like I have, you should help them resolve the issue by demanding a refund from PC Laptops, otherwise you are doing them a disservice by letting them fall prey to a predatory business model.

I ordered a computer a week in advance. Said the day I would be there and that I would be coming out of town. I was coming back to this store because theyd done well by me in the past, despite the four hour round trip.I was buying a new computer, needed data from my current one transferred to it. That was done but eight hours seemed long for a data transfer. I was late getting home.Then I was going to look into advice/upgrades for my old computer to give to my nephew, and needed the data transferred from his bad computer to my much better one I was giving him.But I should NOT have bothered to ask their help on handling my old computer. It was late when they finished things. They didnt ever get back to me on potential upgrades, but what they did do was take the secondary hard drive from my nephews bad computer, stuff it into the computer I was giving him, so when my nephew took the computer home to finish downloading windows there was not enough room on the hard drive to do much else initially. And now there is an error code from the computer where it will not load beyond saying Reboot and select proper boot device.I get they were busy. And its likely my fault for misunderstanding what was going on and heading off with my old hard drive and leaving my nephew with a machine that was not working. I did indicate I had a time limit so maybe they rushed.But that was really upsetting considering the long drive, the amount paid, and the really long wait time to find that I have to figure out how to buy my nephew another hard drive from a 2 hour drive away. And my nephew has to go right back to the very old Dell he was using originally.So yes, Im pretty mad.

He found the part for me through ebay and offered to assist me if I had any other issues. I was really impressed by his customer service and how he genuinely seemed to care about my issue.

I had a great experience with the AF PC Laptops. I had purchased a Xidax machine and didnt know they were the same company. So all the work on my PC was covered by warranty. However the best part of my experience was the work and communication. The tech that worked on my PC called when he started the work and everyday as he made progress and kept me informed. In the future I will for sure be coming to this PC Laptops for all work and purchases.

Just recently purchased a custom build from PC Laptops in American Fork. Had some initial communication problems with my order, which ended up having me with the wrong graphics card. Long story short Andrew was SO helpful and explained the mix up. I left satisfied, knowing that I will be taken care of, the moment a higher graphics card comes available. I went in about last week and chatted with I believe Aaron and Tyler. I am building a pc and was in a pinch missing an odd part (m.2 scew). I called them and they said they would check if they had it. when I came in they told me they had it and they even tested it on an external ssd to make sure it fit. As I like to pay for things with my iPhone, when reaching out of the car window to pay for some coffee, my depth perception was a little off and I hit the side of the window opening thus sending what I thought was a well protected phone hurling through the air and landing perfectly on its face.Well, as you can probably imagine, the glass was shattered - still in place, but shattered nonetheless. What to do? Where to go? The previous day, I had gone to our local tire shop to have the snow tires swapped out and remembered that there was a PC Laptops just next door. A quick internet search provided me with the details of what they were able to fix, as well as what it would cost. In a matter of 2 hours, I had new glass on the front of my iPhone and was back in business.Great service and they did not try and up-sell me on anything, like most electronic stores due. While Im talking to everyone, my thoughts are especially directed to all Senior Citizens who need help with their computers or other electronic devices (phones included): The folks at PC Laptops are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. It goes without saying that most techies are extremely knowledgeable re: the tech world. But how often do you find a tech thats patient and kind when you dont understand what theyre talking about? Who goes out of their way to make sure youre comfortable and confident with your device? The opposite of this is too often the case, especially for the computer-remedial crowd (which tends to include Seniors). I walked into the American Fork store feeling anxious, stupid, and overwhelmed. I left feeling calm, capable, and confident. THATS superior customer service for ya!

The lifetime service and custom-build is an tremendous perk for PC Laptops customers. No competitor can compare with this pair of features. I own both a laptop and a desktop, the latter for several years. My desktop had some issues with the originally installed SSD due to its infant technology. Chase did a marvelous job replacing it with the latest and more reliable version. He also installed new drivers for a favorite old HP LaserJet 1200 printer operated through an old parallel port interface that PC Laptops had installed for me when I bought the machine. He also took the time to set up dual accounts on the machine for my wife and I when I picked it up after the repairs. I have been using it now for over two months since the repairs, and it runs flawlessly and very fast. And all of this was done for no additional charge. They really do stand behind their lifetime warranty! Kudos to Chase and PC Laptops in American Fork for work well done!

These guys were so nice, and super helpful! I needed files from really old hard drives transferred to a new drive and they helped recover as many files as possible. So grateful. This laptop has had a lot of problems during the whole time Ive owned it! I have brought it into the store but it has never been fixed properly! The hardware doesnt last! If you want a reliable laptop, dont buy one from PC Laptops!

I bought my PC Desktop at American Fork, Utah store. I am not a very user friendly guy and need a lot of help. Simple things I mess up, but each timeI bring it in to solve a problem, they see me coming and know I need help but they are very friendly and professional. Sometimes I lose the little icon at the bottom right that either shows a small or large a or A and it goes away, but each time they get it back for me. They are a great bunch of guys.

I had them assemble a computer for me, and every time I came in they were very helpful. There were some issues of compatibility, and some dead on arrival parts, but since I was buying the parts that wasnt their fault. The computer works great so far, but be aware that they dont install the full version of Windows 10 as the OS, and youll need to purchase one if you dont already have one tied to your Microsoft account

Weve been going to PC Laptops for several years. It first started with my grandson having a problem with his computer that he sourced and put together himself. PC Laptops was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem, usually for free! This last time was with my wifes laptop, which had a failed hard drive. They were able to clone as much as they could to a solid state drive, which proves much quicker on her computer, now. With Covid-19, we felt safe entering and roaming the business. We will definitely be return customers.

Two stars because I was treated with courtesy at least, unfortunately my problem was not fixed here. My laptop was no longer holding a charge; it had been a long, slow decline. I explained Id tried two different chargers with the same battery result. I did not bring the charger with me- my bad- but I expected as a PC Laptop place theyd probably have a spare charger around. No luck though. I was told it could be multiple different problems and for $49 and my time to go get the charger, they could tell me the issue. I was also told because my laptop was 3 years old the battery would likely be $30 to $100 dollars. I was immediately offered a trade-in for 1/3 the laptop value.Instead I walked into Best Buy. 5 Minutes later they confirmed it was a bad battery, gave me the model number to purchase off Amazon, and $18 later I had a new battery on its way. My laptop is now holding a charge just fine.I did not feel listened to, and was just being pulled along to get money out of me.

My laptop was slower than cold molasses so my son said to bring it to PC Laptops. They diagnosed a bad hard rive, changed it for a solid state one and transferred all my files. Great computers. Bought two of them. Wonderful staff, very helpful until suddenly one stopped booting cleanly and mine locks up and then I have to reset the speakers about 5 times or more a day.Its a Windows 10 generated problem with the last update...Too bad, they cant fix it.Doesnt do that for us.Might as well put it in the landfill.

I had purchased a desktop system from this store about 18 months ago, and it is sweet. Super work computer. Thursday afternoon I got a Windows 10 update that completely froze my machine up on the restart. I tried everything and could not get it to boot up.I took it on to PC Laptops, and told the store manager what happened. They got it up and running again perfectly for me by this afternoon. Another great review for the guys at PC Laptops. As I entered the store I was greeted in a friendly way and asked how they could help me. They are knowledgeable and helpful. I explained I needed a data cable. They of course had it and it was exactly what I needed. I asked how much and he said they were happy to give it to me. It was just a small part. On Amazon I could have ordered it in a 3 pack for less than $5. This is not just a one time occurance. Several years ago I needed a graphics card connector again a small part not costing much and they were happy to give it to me even though I wanted to pay. If I ever need anything computer/phone related big or small I know where to go. These guys are great!

My phone fell on the ground while I was in town and the screen cracked bad enough that I couldn’t use it. I was at the point where I was either going to buy a new phone or get the screen replaced if I could find somewhere quick and inexpensive. My wife and I had driven by PC Laptops earlier that day and gave them a call. We came in and they fixed it up in half an hour. My phone hasn’t had any issues since and while we were there, the guys answered a lot of our questions about building a PC. We will likely build one with them within the next couple weeks! Super cool staff, good-looking store, strongly recommend!!

They fixed my problem in a short time at a reasonable cost and provided my computer and my wife’s computer with a good security program at a good price. We enjoyed dealing them very much. I’ve heard great things about them on the radio, my visit was pleasing and they handled my busy ness rather well. I am a little disappointed they couldn’t provide more information about financing, just that it was available and then the total cost. Nothing about payments, amounts or due days. As far as the quality of computer it’s excellent, the battery life is quite pathetic, lasting only 4.5 hours max with minimal usage settings.Overall I am pleased, I just wish there was better communication with the financing details, and options for a larger battery.

Came in for a VGA cord after Best Buy had nothing. I was in and out in Literally 10 seconds. Super nice people!

I experienced the best of customer service, immediate attention, immediate exploration of problem with explanations, immediate resolution.When I still had problems at home, I phoned Alex and in just a few minutes he walked me through the set up and all is well. Alex is very skilled in computers but gifted in communications. He listens, responds with skill, respect and patience.

I moved away from Utah a few years ago, but I always remembered the PC Laptops ads and considered them to be a good, customer-focused company. We found ourselves back in Utah this week for a family reunion, and during our trip my wifes laptop died. I tried everything I could think of to repair it on my own, but finally decided to find a local company that might be able to help retrieve some important files.I walked into PC Laptops and Alex and John immediately attended to us, running a variety of different diagnostic tests, even taking the laptop apart to see if they could figure out why it wouldnt boot up.In the end, they determined that the laptop had an issue with the motherboard which we were not able to fix onsite. However, they did retrieve the files my wife needed and placed them on a flash drive. In short, they saved our bacon!When I walked in, I expected good, competent service, but I completely underestimated how effective, helpful and gracious PC Laptops (and Alex and John especially) would be. I cannot possibly recommend them more. Its too bad I no longer live in Utah, as I would use them exclusively for my PC repair needs after this experience.Thank you once again! EXCELLENT customer service! After being turned away from my laptop manufacturer and geek squad with little to no explanation or service, I headed to PC Laptops. It was obvious to them right away that my laptop issue wasnt fixable, just like I had already been told but, these guys still welcomed me in and spent all the time needed to answer all my questions, pull my computer apart, and explain what was going on. They were friendly, knowledgeable, personable and very considerate of how frustrated I was feeling. They were equally respectful and service oriented to the other customers that came in during the time i was there. Staff was very helpful in evaluating my old laptop and what it would take to fix it. They also provided data clean up and transfer to my new laptop. I have been composing music for superbowl, CBS sports, doing albums and running a social media management company all on a 11 year old HP computer. I got used to working with the HP, it was like an old friend I didnt want to lose.....but.,.......One day I woke up and realized with the right computer my work would be easier, would be faster, and would save me time. There were things I needed that just werent included, or the quality I wished for.Though PC Laptops is about a mile from my house I had never considered having a custom made computer by them or anyone so I never visited the store in American Fork. I decided to just see what they could offer. The commercials made them sound like they actually careso I drove over there.I was met by Andrew Leddy and from the first minute I knew I was in good hands. He listened to my needs, every last one of them. He treated me with respect and promised that he and his team would build me a computer that was everything I could hope for.There were a few glitches along the way and no matter what the situation was Andrew came to the rescue. His word was gold, his actions were honest and true.When he quoted me the price for a 4 tb drive and my Ryzen I knew that the markup was quite a lot. In one case the price was 50 percent higher than anywhere but as I got to know him and his team I realized there was a ton that they were giving me for free that other businesses would have charged for. He gave me his word about delivery, and about their lifetime service and a final price and I agreed.Brandon built my amazing computer, with a case that is exquisite andhe even helped me to tweak and put back together my old windows 7 machine, which of course has nothing to do with what I paid for with PC Laptops. I had the birth of my daughter on an old camera that would not transfer to an SD card. I had been trying for a year and a half to get it off and could not figure it out. At my wits end, and the peak of my frustration, I was leaving Best Buy (who couldn’t help me), and on the verge of tears when I saw PC laptops and decided to see if they could help me. They immediately went to work and figured it out within 10 minutes! Not only that but they dealt with me trying to explain the issue while holding back tears. I am so beyond grateful for their help and service. They knew what they were doing and saved a video that is beyond precious and irreplaceable. I highly recommend pc laptops in American fork!

My daughter shattered the screen of our iPad, everything else worked, it was just the glass shattered into a million pieces. We took our iPad to a different PC Laptop location and after a couple days, they called and said the repair wasn’t worth their time. They said it would take too long to remove all the shattered pieces and they’ve decided they won’t do it. My husband called the AF location and explained what was wrong with the iPad, and over the phone they assured us it could be fixed. We took it in and they took the time to review the fix with us and go over the process and the approx time it would take. A few days later, they called to let us know it was done. We honestly would have been fine to pay more at the other location, so account for the extra time, but they didn’t ever give us the option. These guys were professional and respectful and did a great job. Whatever my kids break next, I will definitely be taking to them.

Adam to the rescue! I’ve purchased 4 desktop computers from PC laptops over the last 7 years. I came in tonight to pick up 2 of my kids’ S1 systems that needed some TLC (3 years old). I can’t say enough about Adam. I shared some concerns about speed and performance issues. He helped me research system’s current hardware and took extra time to walk through several options to help answer my questions and solve the problems. Very pleased!

Just came back from first visit to PC Laptops in American Fork. Was helped by a pleasant young man named Aaron. I thought my gaming computer had a serious problem. Computer would power up, but show nothing on screen. My son, who is very software savvy, checked it out. He has always been able to solve any problems before. He couldnt solve problem. Figured I would be spending $$$ to get it fixed. Walked in door, greeted by (Aaron), who set computer up on bench, had problem (bios glitch) diagnosed and solved in five minutes. Discussed with him possible upgrades and improvements. (my choice). Was out door shortly after, offered payment for time spent, he said no charge. If I could give this experience 6 stars I would. I feel entirely comfortable recommending this store to anyone.

First, and foremost, I am a LOYAL PC Laptops customer. Are they expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Without question!! They stand by their warranties, and their customer service can NOT be matched.AF PC Laptops crew is amazing. I recently went into PC Laptops with a computer that wasnt working properly. After fixing it the first time I took the computer home and it shut off on me twice during use. Michael told me of the 30 day return policy so I took the computer in again. After the next fix was made, which was just a matter of switching the power cable, my computer is back to full functionality and is running very smoothly. Michael helped me through every step of the process. He was able to diagnose the problem and keep me updated on their progress by giving me a phone calls. He was very kind and the service provided was great. I felt like he helped me two times for the price of one. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks.

I brought my laptop in on Saturday. And left if there for the weekend. I was kind of skeptical. I was told I wouldnt hear about any diagnostic until Wednesday, maybe Thursday. Which doesnt sound good to me. But I received a call from a different representative on Monday, Brendan, about the diagnostic. It wasnt a diagnostic I had been hoping for. But its better than getting it Wednesday or Thursday. But thank you Brendan!

Aaron was awesome. He took the time to reset my internal battery while I waited and did it at no charge. Appreciate them taking care of the laptop that wasnt purchased from them. PC laptop rock and so does Aaron C.

Very helpful. A little pricey, but excellent customer care. If you’re on a tight budget it might be better to order things yourself, but they definitely take care of you here with addressing your random drivers issue, or plugging in wires correctly when you messed up. If you want quality you have to pay more, though, so there we are!

Im a long time customer of PC laptops, Ive bought a few laptops and desktop from them. This time my very old desktop had the CPU cooling system go out and they replaced it fast and at no charge because of their lifetime warranty. Alex took care of me and Im very happy to report that I got the awesome service that I expect from PC laptops!
