Very small place. Not really a section of alcohol. Just the basic.

It was a bit crowded, a bit pricey compared to other places. The decorations were a nice touch, happy halloween.

My boyfriend and my son are regular customers at captain sparrows.My boyfriend has been going there and purchasing beer for the past three years.One of the main reasons my boyfriend goes there is for the fun atmosphere and great prices. UnFortunately atmosphere has changed and isn’t so bright and cheering without its Pirate lady that is no longer there name Heather. She made the place fun and entertaining with her jokes and laugher and smiles.Heather always remembered her costumers by name and did her job very well.My son thinks she is awesome and sweet and caring to all her costumers.My son has been going to captian sparrows for the last six months since he turned 21.We would like to see this private lady come back to captian sparrows soon. We miss Heather.

We’ve gone there occasionally over years, the place is tiny and located next to a bus stop where a lot of drunks hang out but that doesn’t bother me much as an ex bouncer, but after last night we will never stop there again and it isn’t because of the drunks it’s because of the cashier, the last two times we were there the cashier was upset and almost refused to take a 20$ Bill and pretty much scolded us for using a 20$ Bill, the cashier was very pushy about it to my girlfriend the next time on our previous visit, I found out later because I had went to warm up the car while she paid for our items, but it gets worse, we went there last night because I wanted to try a new beer, we were checking out a few of the fairly expensive good local beers when the cashier shouted over the isle asking if everything was ok in a voice tone like we were doing something wrong, she even told us she could “see us” which I thought was kind of odd, we told her yes everything is fine just looking for something different and good, she mumbled a few comments under her breath insinuating that we were being watched, my girlfriend had chosen her bottle of wine and was helping me to look for and chose a nice beer, I found and pulled out a six pack of fairly expensive beer that I had decided to buy and slid one of the bottles up just far enough to see and read the alcohol content on the label, this time the cashier woman shouted across the store in front of other customers “ you can’t mix beers or change bottles in six packs” her tone was very demanding and rude, I was not doing that and we were quite embarrassed that she had shouted at us like that, we walked towards the door to leave because we had heard enough, on the way out I tried to explain to her that I wasn’t trying to mix the beer in the six pack I was simply looking at the label but she had an attitude like we were just taking up time and space and that she was in charge, her whole demeanor made us look like criminals in front of other customers and she basically told us not to come back to the store, both my girlfriend and I worked all week and just wanted to buy her a bottle of wine and a six pack beer for me to go home with and relax, that woman was so rude and nasty that we ended up having to go to a better store and we will never return to shop there again, I will pass this along to friends, I know she is a new employee because we’ve only shopped there a few times over the last few months and each time she made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, also the times we did purchase there before we knew nothing about the “ members only” policy That must be lightly enforced or not at all, in fact looking back the cashier never asked us not once for our I.D cards on any of our previous visits, not good at all,

The owner is the nicest lady youll ever meet, my first time in there was around 1 a.m. and she even offered to watch me get safely back into my vehicle. Absolutely one of my favorite liquor stores in town!

They are expensive but they are open late and they were open till 2:00 a.m. on 4th of July with brown jug closed at 11:00

Friendly older gentleman running the place who was super helpful. The decor is something to see, and its the kind of place I would own if I ran a liquor store. The name is true to the decor--pirate themed! They have a broad selection of beer and liquor. They also sell a variety of cigarettes.

This place is Awesome, they have a free of charge membership that collects points every time you shop. You can even use your points like cash to get more liquor, cigarettes or anything else they have. Support Local instead of that Big Canadian Chain that has no personality or care bettering our community.

Workers are soo friendly and welcoming

Tobacco, soda pop, and of course alcohol. If you drive to the store youll be served with no problem. Walk up customers can become Members easily. Clerks informed me it minimizes crime. Good service.

I frequent Capt Sparrow on a regular basis. They are always very accomodating and try to make sure that that have my favorite drink. Their prices are for the most part a little less than the bigger stores. You cant go wrong if you choose to purchase at their establishment.

Its a great convenience/liquor store, open when other places are closed. The employees that work there should get Hazard pay for the people they encounter.

Highly recommend joining their membership as its free. Great prices on 50ml shooters plus theres a 10% discount if you by a sleeve of shooters. They have vast selection of spirits and beer to choose from thats all within reasonable price. I personally dont smoke but it does appear they have a decent tobacco selection as well. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. I do love the Wall of Shame! Lol, I think its great they post up theiving scumbags for all to see.

I agree with JonJon Mosquito. The other In & Out Ive been to (E 36 Ave & Arctic Blvd. •Midtown•) also have said that they are open 24 hours, and as soon as I went in, the man in there said that they were closed.. unfortunately the padlock was there but the doors were still opened. I would not recommend anyone to go to In & Out abruptly after 10 pm.

Good place, decent people, good prices...But lets make sure we keep an eye on the dates on the beer..Thats stuff is very important..Ive seen beer at the store thats not dated/rotated properly, but pls. Just stay on top of it🙏Certain beers like the Longhammer IPA, and Langunitas IPA, are from last year..People that drink beer appreciate it fresh🍻 thankyou.
