Im a truck driver from Michigan. I stopped by the Mattress Firm in Anchorage because I wanted a new mattress for my semi truck. The woman at the store was incredibly friendly and answered all of my questions. The reason for the one-star review is because the mattress that I wanted to buy was not in stock but was available in the showroom as a floor model. The sales associate informed me that she was not allowed to sell me the floor model because it was against company policy. The company policy stated that she could not sell a floor model because it would take too long for them to replace the floor model. The next available mattress that I was willing to purchase was at an off-site Warehouse. They sales associate informed me that there would be at least a two-hour delay in being able to pick up the mattress because the warehouse was unmanned. After I left I did a Google search for other mattress stores in the area. I found a store called the mattress Emporium where I purchased a mattress of like-comfort and Design. The net result: I purchased a great mattress and saved several hundreds of dollars. Perhaps The Mattress Firm should reconsider their policies.

I did not shop around. I went, picked out what I wanted, and Ordered. Once ordered, you have to go pick up your mattress at a warehouse. A little time consuming and more expensive than most. However, the person that I talked to at Dimond location, usually not her store, Was very informative and very helpful. For her service I give her 5 stars

Friendly and helpful.

This is the place to go to to buy a mattress. My son has purchased his bed from here, a friend bought a mattress for his RV here and I have shopped here. The service is excellent and very helpful. They assist in arranging financing at great rates.

Went in for a quote. Sales lady wasnt pushy or snobby, even when I told her my low price point I wanted to stay at. She was friendly and courteous to me and my 2 year old daughter.

My GF and I purchased a queen sized mattress from here. Michelle was a great help to us during this purchase. After bringing the mattress home, it smelled terribly of smoke. We didnt even sleep on it the first night. We promptly returned to the store the next morning and explained what had happened. They apologized and immediately set motion to get it replaced for us - at no additional cost. We returned the mattress to the Warehouse and exchanged it for a smoke free brand new one. The issue was the warehouse had mislabeled one of the mattresses. We were given a return, instead of a brand new one. This was not the fault of the store. I am happy with my purchase from mattress firm and would consider them an option when looking to shop for a new mattress again.

Simple store, good prices, friendly staff. Give them a chance if you are looking for a new bed!
