I’ve only been here a few times cause i normally go to the one on Ankeny blvd, but this one is so much better honestly. whoever took my order and greeted me at the window was so nice and welcoming. i know they’re always busy and probably get annoyed sometimes but i still appreciated the whole experience! coffee from the other store is never made right and the one i got today was probably the best one i’ve ever had, so thank you for all you guys do!

Drinks are generally pretty consistent. The drive thru is usually pretty busy, but moves fairly quickly. The employees have been friendly and courteous. I would hesitate stopping here for a quick pick me up

Just moved from the merel hay area to Ankeny. If you know the Starbucks on Merel Hay you know they are 5 stars. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about this location. My frappè was more ice than anything. Paid for extra Carmel only to get less than average. Won’t be returning here.

Love double shots of espresso. Friendly staff and clean coffee shop. Also check out there coffee line at grocery stores. Many times they have special addition coffee types to buy. Right now Im drinking the caramel kind.

Meets expectations is 4 stars. Clean. Fast walk in process. Easy parking. Did not see if bathroom was clean. Drinks were made correctly.

I accidentally ordered my coffee for the wrong location and she let me know at the window that they didn’t have it there and to double check my app. I asked her if I could order a new one, willing to pay for my mistake, and she told me not to worry about it and they would make it. She had me pull around to not hold up other customers in line, and another sweet employee walked it out to my car! 100% best customer service all around. Not sure who the employees were but they deserve individual recognition. This was Saturday the 6th of Feb at 7:35am

Great staff and they have the clover machine.. the only issue is the drive thru is tight and always backed up..

My cat Taffy and I visited Starbucks this morning. The line was long but it was well worth the wait. Taffy enjoyed hanging out the window as we waited to get to the window. Shes been to Starbuck a few times now so she knows there is a treat coming her way. When we got to the window Taffy tried her hardest to join the girls working. They complimented her eyes and made her feel extra pretty. Taffy loved her treat and I loved my sandwich and coffee! My iced cloud caramel macchiato was perfect and my sandwich was hot and delicious! Thanks everyone for making our morning great!

Very disappointed. We showed up and planned to do the drive thru on our way through town, but the line was pretty long so we pulled into the parking lot and mobile ordered. Enjoyed some quiet time in the car. After about 10min went into the store. For how busy it was I was very surprised at how slow moving staff was. I stood on the marker for mobile ordering to respect social distancing and waited. Probably another 3-4 min for the staff to notice me. At this point another gentleman had even been waiting longer than me to even order. No greetings to either of us or direction.We finally were greeted. I was asked my name, and given one of my drinks. Waited for the other.After I got that I immediately brought them to the car. Luckily I started a timer as soon as I got the drink so that the tea wasnt over steeped... even though there was no direction on that from staff. The most disappointing part was when we opened the lid to take the tea bags out there was 3/4 gap between the foam and top of cup.. so by the time we took out the tea bag we have over an inch an a half gap.Glad I paid for the venti to get a grade.The tea lattes are a rip off. If you want something good go to a place that cares about their coffee.The blonde espresso is still over roasted as well...Overall two really crummy cups of coffee. Will be sticking to local shops in ankeny from now on.If you are an avid sharbucks style coffee drinker try Cafe Diem. Specialty is hands down Blue Bean.

I don’t normally leave these kinds of comments, but I get Starbucks (Ankeny location) almost ever other morning before I head to work. Y’all have the kindest customer service compared to any Starbucks location I have ever been to. So thank you to the staff members that make my mornings a little better. I know it must be a stressful job to have, but y’all are great.

This is the only Starbucks Im going to go to in Ankeny. The one on N Ankeny Blvd is slow and can never give you what you ask for when you order drinks. They are also very sloppily made/spilling over. I have never had that problem here. In the fall we drive the extra distance because their pumpkin spice lattes are the best ones in town. They’re the only one that gets my order correct when I ask for extra something. They make the BEST iced caramel macchiatos ever. I’m going to stop making the mistake of NOT coming to this one every single time.

Amazing coffee! Fast service! I only waited maybe 6-7 minutes in the middle of a rush. All the employee were relaxed, cheerful, they were doing their jobs and making everything as fast as the machines would let them. Amazing!

I go here twice a day as i work in the same parking lot. The syaff are excellent. They know what i want before i order it and never push unwanted items. They are friendly on their worst day and they are always attentive to my wants.

Would first like to say that this is the best Starbucks in ankeny.... baristas are always so genuine and sweet. I think they have to deal w a lot and I applaud them for that. Mobile order if you don’t want to wait! And you can earn stars. And tip your baristas! They are little angels :)

Always very busy at this location. Drinks are always made well and staff is always pleasant. You could wait a good 10 minutes for your order, so dont plan on stopping by to grab a quick coffee 😉. Well staffed, just a busy place.

Consistently one of the worst Starbucks. The Drive-Thru is atrociously placed making it hard to even get in to go to the actual store. They do not have a mobile order pick-up area, so you are stuck waiting for them to give you your coffee and since it is the only Starbucks in the area they are always so busy that this usually means your coffee is cold. If you want to wait as long to get your coffee as going out to a fine-dining restaurant and have it be cold and even possibly wrong after all of that,then by all means. I am just recommending people go to Caribou now instead.

Best Starbucks ever. Outdoor seating, recently remodeled. Coffee is 100 every time. Drive through can get busy so come in or order from your phone for faster service. Staff is excellent. Power in the tables. Power in the countertops across the front window. I come here multiple times a week.

Excellent customer service! I live close to the N ankeny Blvd location and I almost always travel out to this one just for their customer service. They also almost never run out of what you need compared to the N ankeny Blvd location. I went to get a coffee today at about 1:30pm and the young girl who was working at the window has had the absolute best customer service I have ever come across in this state since we have moved here. I wish I knew her name so she can get recognized for it.

The staff is fantastic! The Internet connection is very good. For a long time they had a problem with temperature of the store but that is mostly resolved.

We had a very large order and Jon was so accommodating as was all of the staff on one of the busiest days! Our office staff really appreciated the help!

Ordered the smoked turkey protein box. It tasted like it was in the fridge for weeks. Bread was very soggy. Not worth $8.

Went in to starbucks today around 3:45pm to pick up my mobile order and the store was pretty busy, but all the workers were super friendly and working very quick. A young man noticed me waiting and asked if he could help, made my drink right away, and apologized for the wait even though I was only there for about 5 mins. Great customer service at this location every time I go the workers are always friendly and helpful.

The staff here is very friendly and patient. Im not a fan of coffee and Ive only ever been to Starbucks one other time. They helped me pick out a drink and a flavor and did not get impatient or rude with me. They also have free WiFi which is nice.

I didnt get what I ordered, it was missing the creamer. The tables were dirty and the place is small. Coffee is good, but over priced.

Today was not a good day for them or me. Waiting in line a very long time and it wasnt that long. Then got my hot tea first time I picked it up lid wasnt on and spilt hot tea in my lap.

I always mobile order for pickup at this location. Recently, they seem to be slightly better at acknowledging when customers who have ordered ahead are standing near the sign indicating where to pick up mobile orders. Unfortunately, they still seem to be more concerned with chatting with their coworkers than interacting with customers - mobile order-ers and in-store patrons alike.

I work near here and I go to this Starbucks on a daily basis. I use the mobile app and they recognize me on sight when I walk in. Always friendly, professional and efficient.

I have tried multiple times to give this Starbucks a bad day free pass but they never seem to redeem themselves. Last week I had my birthday drink. They messed it up 3x!!! I had to get out of my car twice. By 3x I said forget it and had to just add expresso to it when I got home. Very disappointed they took up so much of my time and messed up my birthday drink 😫Went again today and they were super busy but were doing pretty good at being fast BUT not accurate or friendly. Had to have them remake my drink.

Slowest Starbucks in country. I have given in multiple tries different times of day and they are sooo slow the drive thru is so slow 2 cars in 15mins and thats taking a order bot even serving them. For a place that specializes in coffee you guys sure dont move quick or sell fast... hmmm maybe thats why the locations are closing so much lately but hey keep up the craappy job and you will.contiune to lose customers

There was 1 person taking orders and she was talking to the person ahead of me for 10 minutes about something that happened last night and didnt even acknowledge that i was standing there. I go to this coffeeshop almost every morning. I love the Pike blend of coffee. I drive a pickup with a long trailer and this location has a large free parking lot where I can easily park my equipment. There are five tables with chairs and a long counter with 8 chairs. I can always find a place to sit and read my e-mail on the free wi-fi. The wi-fi is free and very fast. The bathrooms are clean. The service is fast and friendly. The drive-up window always seems to have ten or more cars waiting to order coffee. It is very busy at breakfast and lunch times.

Standard Starbucks. The service was meh. The music though... no idea what they were playing. It was aweful and super annoying.
