I really like the quality of work they do there. I have done business at R&R 3 times and have been pleased each time. The owner is involved with every job to ensure quality. He wont cut corners to save you money even if you ask him as doing it right is paramount.

Did not communicate with me at all!! Told me it would take 6 days and that I would get updated twice a week. Got one update the day after dropping off my car saying my vehicle was under review with no context as to what that meant. Little did I know, that meant they were going to submit it to be totalled even though the only damage was to the hood and grill and was simply cosmetic. They didnt even submit the report to insurance until 5 days after that—almost a week after they got the car! Never received any more updates. Even tried calling and was told I needed to talk to my insurance company instead because they should be updating me. I called insurance a week and a half after dropping off my car which is how I even found out that they had submitted for my vehicle to be totalled after sitting on it for the 6 days it was supposed to take to fix it. Finally got them to fix my car and they said it would take another almost two weeks—rendering me without a car for a month—and they refused to offer any sort of compensation or deal because they did everything they were supposed to, and they were just as frustrated as me because they had to wait to hear from the insurance company, too. I called and spoke directly to the owner to complain, only to be told that is must be the fault of whoever I had spoken to before and she mustve had some of her wires crossed. Accepted no blame for himself. Got my car back on a Friday instead of the following Monday like they had estimated simply because I called my insurance adjuster to complain. Overall very displeased with the customer service. Would not use again!! Only giving one star because at least there was nothing wrong with the work itself (from what I can tell do far).

I took my vehicle here after someone hit me. They were the bodyshop that State Farm recommended for me. I was very weary bc of previous terrible experiences with body shops. My experience with this Carstar was absolutely awesome. They got the parts ordered, car fixed and returned ahead of schedule. The paint work is so well done. It looks factory. I grew up in a family that does paint and body work with our family business and I’m very detail oriented with how paint work should look. Honestly, I can’t find anything bad with this job. They did it perfectly. It was driver side damage so having to see it every time I get in the car is important to me that it’s done right. It certainly is and I’m happy whenever I look at the job. There was a little scuff on my molding and when the owner saw it as I was picking up the car, he ordered a brand new piece and had it swapped out in 10 min. I highly recommend this body shop. They do the right thing and their customer service from the adjuster all the way up to the owner, was awesome. I had a wonderful experience. Thanks again. THAT is customer service. I’m so so impressed with this place and highly recommend.

The service was swift and done very well. They fixed my car after a fender bender and I got it back like new. I also appreciated the communication during the process letting me know if it would be late or if it was done early. I was especially happy that my car was cleaned thoroughly since I don’t always have time to do it. Overall would recommend.

Wow! I was so impressed! I was in an accident and needed some paint and body work done on my car. I was expecting to go through hoops to get things fixed, and I was worried about the paint not matching, but everything turned out perfectly! Once we decided on them, they reached out to us right away and got us scheduled immediately. It only took them a week to get the parts in. The work was done in the 4 days they had estimated. PDR on the door was good, but they said they were going to remove the bed of the truck to get behind the last pillar... Doubt they did considering theres a bump from the transition in clear. Then the guy said I can probably just wet sand it out. After keeping my truck for 4-5 days I didnt even let them do a complimentary detail.

The customer service went above and beyond. Calling to keep me updated with the work being done. Working with me when the car rental company was not. It was such an amazing experience for me during a hard time. Going forward if i need any bodywork needed.

I really enjoyed my experience with this apopka carstar location. Very professional and kind people. My only constructive criticism Id say would be their estimated timing. I was told my car would be ready on Wednesday, then it got changed to friday and then monday my car was finally ready for pick up. It was only an inconvenience because I had made arrangements with work and transportation based on what they initially told me. Luckily it all worked out, and Id go back to this location if I needed work done on my car. They do a great job.

John, Max and the crew have been outstanding. In the recent months, I’ve been subjected to a few vehicle accidents (not at fault!) - and I have brought my vehicles here for repair. I am extremely picky, as all of the vehicles I brought in are award winners at car shows. The team took extra care to make the repairs as perfect as possible, and are honestly better than I expected. The crew even did a few extra touch-up pieces on my Trans Am because they saw room for improvement. Overall, I am very happy! While my vehicles were in for repair, the crew kept me up-to-date so I was not left in the dark. I will point out, if you are looking for a body shop that will repaint your car for $200, you need to go somewhere else - if you are looking for a body shop that will repair your vehicle up to factory standards, this is the place. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of work.

Ive been quoted pick up days twice now. Spoken with the estimator Max, three times, and never once have they called me; Ive had to call them.Each time they have an excuse as to why they need more time. I finally spoke to the owner John (?) today. His excuses for the delays are as follows...Were really busy., Im short handed on staff., The insurance companies push me to fix the little repairs first. and the best one of all, These darn insurance companies keep sending me cars to fix. Have been taking our company Vehicles to John and his boys for a few years now. Even though they are just fleet Vehicles they treat them like they are brand new Cadillacs, lol. Always the best service, done on time. Location is easy to find and staff is very nice and accommodating. We had our car serviced at Car Star - R&R Collision. They were referred by our insurance company. The Customer Service was outstanding! They kept us updated throughout the repair and had it completed on time, as promised. The Owner, John OHara, personally inspected our vehicle after repairs were completed and gave us a lifetime warrenty on all services. John is personable, courtious and thorough, as his staff. The shop is clean and comfortable. Also, the shop has a family atmosphere where everyone is friendly as well as professional. Thats not easy to find in this day and age.

Looked good at first but after a few washes and veiws from different angles and lighting they really did a poor job. Reused the window vents instead of installing new ones. They all blew off going down the road. I have had work done before at a dealership but my insurance recommended this place. That was bad advice. Never going back here and will be changing insurance companies also. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Please don’t go here! I went here because the guy who hit my cars insurance sent me here! they literally did a half ass job because the insurance company tried to give them $23 for them to fix my bumper! again nothing to do with me! So when I complained they were super rude and said I need to get back in touch with the insurance place for them to actually fix it properly! because they needed more money! this was after the guy picked on my car for being a Saturn vue! and basically telling me my car had no real value! And I was just wasting everyone’s time! After I told the insurance company what they did and said with pictures they claimed to have stopped using them and giving them business I have no clue how true that is but you have been warned they are rude rip offs who literally take months!!!!

I have used R & R Collision multiple times over the past 10 years, maybe longer. I own a small Pest Control company with a fleet of 15+ vehicles. Like all companies, my employees ocassionally have accidents ranging from minor fender benders to much more involved & expensive ones. I self pay for many of the smaller repairs and use my insurance for the bigger ones. R & R has never let me down, weather it has been body panel replacement or acomplete paint job, the work has been done on time & budget. Body damage repair

I went to this place for repairs and received a quote from a guy named John who said he was the owner. He did not deliver on time and every time I stopped by his place to get my car he was busy on the phone taking to women or laughing about pictures on the net. I finally got my got and I had problems. When I tried to take it back he said it was all done and after much discussion he finally fixed my complaint. I would not use his shop.

Very friendly staff and were very efficient. My only issue is the woman who occasionally answers the phone, she never seems to know what is going on and can be rude.

When I dropped my car off, the owner, John looked me in the eyes and said We should have your car fixed up for you by the end of April at the latest. Well after 52 days, I finally got my car back. I didnt choose R & R as my insurance company provided limited options, but given the choice, I would NEVER return to R & R. I was in a very minor rear-end collision and the damage report showed items such as my AC needing to be repaired. This was a bit surprising to me as I drove the car for 6 weeks prior to dropping it off and the AC was functioning fine in my 2017 Lincoln. The final excuse that really frustrated me was at towards the end of my dealings with this company. The owner calls me to explain how the AC repair requires them to have my car towed back and forth to the dealer because they dont have the tools needed to fix my car. How awesome! The only good thing I can say about R & R is that they are very good at telling customers their car is going to be delayed with what seems like a multitude of excuses at their disposal. From supposed back ordered parts that the dealer had in stock to not having the correct tools to complete the job, this was a nightmare of a body repair compared to any other body work Ive had done on any vehicle.

Extremely unsatisfied they had my car for 2 days short of 3 months on an estimate of 4900 dollars when i got the car back they hadnt replaced a thing just tried to half ass it the rims are still scratched the brake lines and suspension still squeek its a 2015 with 20k miles on it there customer service is absolute dogshit the only good part was levi tries to help out but the owner just wants to make the extra buck so he cant i would not recommend this place to anyone in florida and my 76000 youtube followers will all know what this place is about
