Do no take your Apple products here. Although polite and professional the staff here refused to repair an Apple computer which was covered under Apples extended keyboard warranty program because they could not replicate the keys being unresponsive in the moment. The techs here had previously documented this as an issue and even admitted it was documented for this computer. They said I have to send it to apple directly. Apple said any authorized repair center will be able to replace the top case(keyboard). Dont claim to be an Apple repair center if you wont repair items covered by Apples warranty. I worked for Apple for years as a Genius Bar repair tech(Genius) and issues like this are 100% covered under extended warranty programs. This is especially true when they are documented by a tech while the device is within the extended coverage time frame. The keyboard failure of the low profile keyboards is a widely known issue for several apple laptop models. Super disappointed in computer worlds refusal to support their customers. :(

Alex was incredibly professional and took care of my iMac beautifully. I had a bad hard drive, and they replaced it with an SSD at a very reasonable cost. They were polite throughout the entire interaction, and they even cleaned my device for free. I was recommended to come here by my friend Nick who also had a tremendous experience with his iMac. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
I sincerely wish I could give this place less than 1 star. I had set up an appointment online for my cracked iPhone 12 Pro Max screen to get fixed. Drove all the way to Appleton (an hour and a half drive!!!!!) Only to be told when I arrived that they were running behind and would not have time to fix it that day. Never received a text or phone call prior to driving 90 minutes to the store location. While they were nice, it was absolutely terrible. I was not going to throw a fit in the store, but please, save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere. I understand it may get busy, but to not even text or call is bull. Do they not understand that not every single person that walks in their store is not local? 10/10 do NOT RECCOMEND

Eric repaired my 2016 Mac book pro. I had a fan that I believed to be going however the noise only happened once in awhile so it was hard to diagnose the exact problem and I had my computer in there March of 2020 and the tech was unable to find the problem. Eric was able to find a way for the noise to appear and then applied my bill from March 2020 to this bill to have my fan replaced. He also replaced my battery and computer was back to me in less than 3 days! Very easy person to work with and very accommodating.

Brought my iphone x in to get the charging port replaced. They told me since its soldered to the circuit board that it wasnt repairable and they would have to replace the phone. They wanted over $500. Thought it was a little strange since soldering isnt permanent. I called a local cell phone repair shop and they said it would be no problem to replace the charging port and for a very low fee on top of that. When I told them what computer world told me they couldnt believe they even said that. Seems to me they wanted to get a lot of money from me and get a phone the could cheaply fix and re sell for a very big profit. Computer world has forever lost my businessTurns out there was no soldering involved to replace the charging port.
I took my daughter iPhone in to have the screen replaced and they had it done and looking like a brand new phone in 1 hour. Keegan was friendly and did a great job! Excellent customer service
Ive had to consult with Dave McMorrow on several occasions regarding my iMAC desktop computer. He is reliable, very prompt in answering EACH issue I had concerns with and extremely reassuring. I highly recommend this company.
They kept my money texted me minutes I dropped orff my computer. I had to drive out of town to pawn my tablet cause they couldnt check my mac to see if they could fix it without a 50 dollar deposit just to get a text back in minutes that it was ready for pickup and they still said that they could dispose of a mac I paid over 1,000 dollars for and said they couldnt return my money but I could use it as a in store credit. Bogus. Talk about slick business

The staff of Computer World was very knowledgeable and helpful when I recently experienced issues with my iPhone. They went above and beyond to help resolve the issue. I would strongly recommend them to anyone for sales and services involving Apple products.
1 Star for Customer service and 3 stars for Tech so I’ll average it to a 2 star. The check in process is a joke. We asked my mom to drop my wife’s phone off for service we had it in an envelope with all required info. Instead they required her to sign in with all her personal information which is none of their business then wait forever to literally hand them the envelope to then leave. She was there for nearly an hour to do us a favor.Then I go to pick up phone and I have to sign in, then the guy at counter chitchatting on the phone(what sounded like a personal call) to then tell me I’ll have to wait till someone from the back can help me. Then he stares at his computer for a few minutes then goes and gets the phone and gives it to me. I was luckily only there for 15-20min. I’m glad I didn’t hear about my moms experience until the next day or I would have likely been rude to them which I don’t enjoy.A touch more personable action on the staffs part would be appreciated. If they are trying to run the store like a Verizon Store and their poor service they are right on track. There’s a reason why I’m no longer with Verizon. I will give them one more chance, but then I’ll drive to wherever the next nearest AppleCare provider is. They were the only option my cell carrier gave me.

If I could leave less than a star I would. This entire store has no idea what they’re actual job is. I brought my phone in about a month ago and have had to use a loaner phone ever since. I returned the loaner phone, they told me that it would be in the next day. I called before hand to make sure they had my phone, and they told me they did. I drove there expecting my phone, but they said they didn’t have it. So they gave me another loaner phone, and lost my case I had on my other phone that costs $50. I would never recommend this store to anyone.

They recently handled a warranty issue on a MacBook Pro for me, and not only did they get it done quickly, but the quality of work looks exceptional as well. The staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and best of all - enthusiasts of the products. They understood I needed a fast turn-around since I run a small business, and they did not disappoint. I had a key repaired on my MacBook that I purchased here and was surprised by how quickly they were able to get it done. They even cleaned the exterior of my machine (something Id neglected to do recently). Very happy with every interaction Ive had at this location. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking to make an Apple product purchase or to have repairs/maintenance done.
My phone was glitchy and my cell carrier sent me over to CW - service was quick and easy to work with. They reset the entire phone and all looked good. 12 hours later it completely crashed- I went back in and after they checked with Apple, got a new phone to replace it (I did have Apple Care). When I went to get the new one, they walked me through the process of setting it up again. Totally appreciate their help! Interestingly, when I was in there a customer with water damage to phone was irate they couldn’t replace his. I was impressed with how they handled this situation with respect even though it was far from reciprocal!
First time coming here & I dont think I will go anywhere else. They are very helpful. They fully explain the answers to any question you ask. Really know there stuff. Plus it is beautiful inside!
I went into the store very nervous to spend the amount of money it would take to purchase what I needed. Kegan went over details of all of my options, and told me confidently what he thought I would be happiest with, based on my needs. He wrote down the options that were best suited for me, and along with a coworker, encouraged me to not make the purchase until I was more confident in it. Rather than making a sale that day, they made a customer. I will definitely go back when I am ready to make the purchase!
I have had really good luck with these guys. Good luck finding an apple repair facility in the area. They have kept my Mac running perfectly for years. I dont have any complaints.
This place is an absolute GEM. After many calls to the Apple Store at Bayshore Mall (Milwaukee) regarding my phone, and failure to get an appointment with Apple sooner than three weeks out, the Apple specialist actually recommended Computer World. Talk about SERVICE! From my first call to Computer World, I knew I was in good hands. They accurately diagnosed and fixed my issue, meaning no trip to the Apple Store (3 hours round trip!). Further, the repair was complete, priced VERY well, and phone was done EARLIER than promised! Five stars for this business. As a side note, they had a compete line of computer cables, cords, earphones, etc. all VERY competitively priced. This is my new go-to store for computers, phones and anything electronic.

I brought my Apple MacBook Air into Computer World after finding out that they service Apple products, as I had a display issue. The guys at the Apple Support center were very knowledgeable and willing to help test my computer and determine the problem. Once we determined that it was just the display that was not working, they gave my the option to send it into Apple or to an off brand computer repair center for a cheaper price. I decided to send it into Apple because then they would have the repair in their records.I received a call about 10 business days later that my computer was in and I went and picked it up and paid the repair price, which was the same price Apple quoted me when I had them look at it at the Apple Store in Madison.Overall I was very happy with the service at Computer World and I am glad I can get my computer fixed so close to home instead of having to go to an Apple Store in Milwaukee or Madison all the time!

Virginia was extremely knowledgeable and professional helping me file an apple care claim on my broken phone. Within 24 hours I had a brand new phone and couldn’t be happier with her service and help.
I genuinely have nothing nice to say other than they were friendly. I was kind of neglected because I wasnt there for a sale, just a repair. That was something I could ignore if everything else were fine, but it was not. I brought in my MacBook with water damage. They took it in back to inspect and upon return told me my heat sync was shattered. Not a thing that happens but ok. They told me my only option was to send it out to have the entire insides replaced for $1,600 when I only paid $800 for it refurbished. I took it to UBreakIFix and they cleaned it up and inspected it for $150. Also, big surprise, the heat sync was perfectly fine. I wouldnt bother complaining about any of it had they not so blatantly lied to me.
We had an issue with US Cellular and Apple care, our clerk was quite helpful and she stayed patient and very helpful, trying to figure out the issue.
We have bought 3 macbooks, 1 I pad, and many accessories here. Always great service and support. We had them do a software install so our youngest could play Minecraft with some sort of pack. I spent a couple hours trying to figure it out. took it in, and poof next day he was up and going!!!
I purchases my first Apple Computer in 2009. After many Windows computers I made the best purchase a 21.5 IMac. This machine has been very reliable and stood up to what was advertised. The salesman gave us instructions how to operate and was very helpful. I have had the machine back into the service dept because of something I did wrong and they worked on it while I waited. If I called them or Apple direct the response was always quick and complete. I did purchase the extended warranty and never paid another charge.I have been in for service after the extended warranty for something very minor and did not get charged. When I decide to purchase another Apple product this dealer will be my first stop.I have recommended them to all my friends.
They fixed my MacBook (2016 model) screen. It shattered completely and they repaired it within a week :D I️ went to other places and no one had the part to fix it since it had just come out on November and I️ broke it on February. ❤️ amazing customer service also :D
I took my fairly old, previously repaired, MacBook Pro in to Computer World after months of letting it sit unused due to some hard drive issues.The two women at the front desk were very helpful and friendly and explained the repair/estimate process clearly.I was pleasantly surprised at the low price of the labor when I picked it up and again the lady at the front desk was able to tell me exactly what the technicians did; this included a data transfer to my external hard drive, they fixed my bogged down hard drive and even put the data back on for me!When I finally got to use my MacBook again after almost a year of frustration, I was extremely grateful.Thanks to the wonderful service I have received there, I will be sure that my next purchase of any Mac products are made from Computer World. Thank you SO much!

I bought an Apple from here instead of Best Buy because I though they would provide better customer service and that their tech support was better. Their tech support might be better but I will never know because I could not get any customer service to find out.Today was my 4th time into the store in the last 2 months (research, purchase, and today). The service was never great but I went with them due to my comments above. Today I was passed over twice as they served other customers despite their cue system. I finally walked out complaining about the non-service. No reaction from the staff; no call to find out what they could do (they had my cell number in their useless cue system).I dont plan to return - I will take my chances with Best Buy... or drive to Green Bay.

Had my Macbook repaired through computer world before and it was a simple process and they were very courteous.Be warned they are Apple certified but not for iPhones! It was Apples fault sending us to them so I cant complain about Computer World but just dont waste the trip, or call ahead and make sure they can do the repairs you are looking for.

An authorized service center. As a former employee I can say that it is a decent place to get your Mac fixed. Applecare warranty repairs or work on out of warranty machines. Repairs on older hardware are on par or sometimes cheaper than getting it done through apple direct. As for naysaying reviews? You cant please folks with unreasonable expectations no matter how hard you try. And subs are awesome. . .especially when we didnt have the free time to take lunch breaks 3 days out of five. Yum.
I bought a new iMac in the summer of 2008. Recently, in December of 2009, the hard drive failed. After having the computer for 9 days I was told that they had restored my computer to working condition and recovered most of my data. Technicians worked past closing hours, even on Christmas Eve, to get my iMac back to me. Thank you Computer World!
This place has horrible customer service. I went in to get a new battery in my phone and sat there waiting, not once in 2 hours did anyone tell me my phone was done, as i told them i would be there waiting the whole time. I went and asked how much longer because at this point i was told it would take an hour and im sitting at over 2 hours... they went out back and the phone had been done. So they wasted my time and never even offered to take anything off the bill
Jack the Mac Guy at Computer World is the best!!!My wifes MacBook Air (late 2013) suffered the Black Screen of Death. Looked at the Mac forums for advice, looked at some YouTube videos about changing the battery, was on the verge of ordering a new battery from Amazon. My wife took it to the local Best Buy, and they said theyd be glad to fix it for just $200. Called the nearest Apple Store, got a recording that said I could buy time just to talk to tech support. Finally called Computer World in Appleton, Wis., and talked to Jack. He said it sounded like the latest OSX install wasnt complete. Told me to restart with shift key down, hit right arrow and then the return key, type in the password (even though the screen was still black), hit return again and BINGO! The screen came back on, showed OSX had 2 minutes left to install! Alls right with the Mac again thanks to Jack the Mac Guy!
