I LOVE this place! Healthy and delicious food available to order and eat in or to go. The deli and grocery section also has a ton of amazing and unique finds.

Adorable little shop and deli downtown. I tried a mortadella & butter baguette sandwich and I felt like I was transported to some European village. Single serve beers and wines to round out your picnic. Love it!

Second time here. Took a couple sandwiches and a cupcake home. All were delicious! Over-tipped like we always do. We all need to support small, home-grown businesses! And of course.....over-tip!!

Green Gecko is a great place to grab a quick bite. They have a few tables in back, and will make anything to order. Their cooler has great prepared items, including a few vegan/vegetarian options! Love their focus on local brands.

What a fantastic place!! I just recently moved to Wisconsin and a friend of mine said I had to check this place out. He said it was a must stop here in the Valley. He was so right! I loved the owner! She was so sweet! On recommendation I got the curry chicken salad and oh my gosh it was soooo good!! I have defiantly found my spot!

Stopped in for Progressive Beer and stayed for the food. Wonderful owners and high quality food and beer selection. We’ll make this a regular stop when going through Appleton. Highly recommended.

Really good sandwich (French brie and Swedish lingonberry grill). A well supplied grocery for those who live downtown.

This place is a hidden gem! Features excellent quality items like specialty cheeses and meats. Gotta try other food items, too!

Friendly small shop with homemade local foods. Great soups and sandwiches, and dessert items.

I did not eat here but used their front sidewalk chairs for a couple of minutes and I was told to leave and that these chairs are for their customers only. It would be different if they where busy. Rude

Good selection of your basic groceries. locally sourced as possible. Full service deli and sandwiches and fresh in house baked goods. A little pricey but worth the connivence of downtown living. Great store, awesome to have it on College Ave.

I am so, so happy Green Gecko opened up again! It’s what downtown needed. Their sandwiches are great. They also have meats, cheeses, produce, beer/wine and other grocery items. Much of it is from local sources.

I moved from Greece to WI a few years ago. I was not expecting to walk in a store in downtown Appleton and find freshly made Baklava. Dont tell my mom but that was amazing! Thanks Bob ... what a treat!

Pretty expensive for what you get. I got a sandwich and it was $14 no sides and a very very small amount of meat and cheese on it. I asked if I could get a sandwich and just change the bread. She told me no...that’s how that sandwich should be. I would love to see them do well, but prices were very high for what you got

There was only a couple people eating breakfast here this morning... but why?! Food was excellent and ingredients were clearly to a higher level than most joints, but with no more cost! Self serve coffee is a nice bit. Our favorite breakfast place (so far) since we moved to Appleton.

NECTAR OF THE GODS!!! The owners are very nice and the space is huge...FANTASTIC FOOD and the best Cupcakes Ive ever had ( love the Carrot cake and the chocolate!) My fave lunch item is the chicken CURRY salad on a bed of greens! WOW - fresh and delish! Thank you all!

This place is otherworldly. Unbelievably, STUPID GOOD FOOD. Vegetarian/Vegan jackpot of the Fox Valley. Yum. (They have amazing meats too)

Bob and his wife pour every ounce of passion that they have into every menu offering. Visiting the Green Gecko for the first time was a pleasure taking a trip back in time to a Deli/Restaurant that you may find in Chicago or New York.I cant wait to go back again to try another dish that they have perfected from their world travels and life of commitment to creating meals to die for.
