These guys are the absolute best. I had a horrible experience down the road from them where that shop took advantage of my lack of knowledge on cars. The guys at Thomas Tire took incredible care of me on multiple occasions now. They are honest and dont push anything on the customer. They inform you of your options, help with the price as much as possible, and dont overcharge. The mechanics at the bad place down the road absolutely destroyed my car. The guys at Thomas fixed the mistakes the other guys made and did it for such a deal I bought them all lunch! Seriously if youre new to the area, dont know a lot about cars, and just want honest service with professionals, this is where you need to go. Forget that chain yellow place that starts with an M they will bleed you of your money and trust. Take your vehicle to Thomas Tire and youll be treated like family. I cant thank these guys enough.

Dropped my vehicle off at 10:30 am after making a 11am appt. returned to get it a little after 3pm . Was told it should only take 1-2 hrsAs I was entering the lot. A seen them pulling my car into the bay to start work . When I inquired as to what was going on . “ we did not think you would want to do an alignment without purchasing two new tires because the tires were wearing on the outer edge . That’s why I wanted a tire rotation and an Alignment . No call or text nothing to ask what I wanted to do . Had my car for 5 hrs and that’s the best they could do . Not acceptable

I have never had this good of an experience at a car shop. They had me out of there within an hour. They didnt even charge me for putting back on my scrape plate that my husband had to take off due to it banging on the road when I drove. Great communication and great service. Definitely five stars definitely. I went there to get an inspection and I wanted a handful of other things looked at. And I left very satisfied. Plus they are very nice people. Great service all around.

Amazing people work here. The kind that actually still care about their customers, super friendly and knowledgeable. Repairs have to be paid, but here I feel and know I am not taken advantage of!!! Fair prices and quality work! Good job guys, I am really impressed and will come back for anything else that will need fixing.

This place has never given me issues. If you are not car savvy and worried about being swindled, dont be. They are honest mechanics, and I will always go to them because of that.

Used to be good. They increased prices (great time for that right?) Alignments used to be affordable. They JACKED the price up to $90 plus tax for TWO front wheels.....so make sure you use your warranty because its NO LONGER a good value unless you do. Why do companies keep doing this to people????

First I want to say thank you because I checked so many places that wasn’t able to do a alignment on wheels over 20 inches. They took my vehicle and full service check even though they was just doing the alignment. I also appreciate the fact that they send you a text that lets you see everything they do to your vehicle. I have definitely found a new place to have my car serviced.

Had 2 tires blow on our travel trailer late on a Friday afternoon. The folks at Thomas went out of their way to locate 4 tires for my trailer, sent their technician out to the highway to replace the 2 tires. Even made me aware of a coolant leak in my vehicle. Great tire shop and garage. Called them because I had trouble fitting a lawnmower tire to the rim. They offered to have me bring it in right away and seat it for me. Though they couldnt get it done right away, they were extremely professional and knowledgeable and able to fix a tire that was warped from shipping. Previously I was going to Thomas Tire in Randleman..with poor experiences. I recently had a blowout on my tandem axle trailer, and Thomas star of orange still was the closest tire shop to me. They have the tire I need it in stock, Were helpful over the phone, and very profesional in their service. I will be making the 25 minute trip to Archdale from now on.

Made an appointment online, and was in and out. Both Billy and Kristin at the front desk were very welcoming. I came here because it’s convenient to my work, and I will definitely be back! I had a pleasant experience!

Our scheduled appointment was for 1 PM. My wife arrived at 1:02 PM. The oil change was completed at 2:25 PM. Was told by the person at the front counter that if somebody is late they put something else in that bay and work on it. Apparently if you are not there exactly on time you get pushed behind. A simple phone call could have alleviated the situation. I can understand if there is a no-show however it should be easy enough to confirm if that person is going to be there or not. I cannot fault the business for their work, just the lack of communication and the amount of time it takes to get things done. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. ** UPDATE **. Another broken promise as no one has contacted me or my wife based on the owners response below 3 days later. ** UPDATE 2 ** - 2 weeks later and no call. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!

1st experience awesome, made an appointment and the dude ordered a new tire and had it put on w no delay at the next day appointment.2nd experience, I made an appointment to have my vehicle looked at. The appointment was made over a week in advance bc they were booked. On the day if my appointment my car sat there all day, no one called to say that they wouldnt be able to fit my car in that day. I had to call them. I really didnt appreciate that as I could have taken my car elsewhere to be seeviced that day. All it ended up needing was an oil change and new washers...I would use their service again, ONLY if my 2nd experience didnt happen again. Ive never had that happen in my life. Customer service is essential. I didnt bother to reschedule bc of that and took my car elsewhere for service. Which sucks bc I had to go further.Archdale location.

I was leaving North Carolina on Tuesday. Got in my vehicle and the tire pressure light was on. Tried to get air at two gas stations to no avail. This is my second experience with Thomas Tire. The product is good. The personalities of the staff is nice, friendly and respectful. However when I make an appointment, I expect to be taken care of at that time. Thats 30-45 minutes I could have done something else without rushing to get to the appointment. On top of that, it seemed to take forever just to get the tires on. But the guy putting them on seemed to be aimlessly walking around at time to avoid getting the work done. Im happy with the product. Check.Happy with the kindness of the staff. Check.Not happy with the hoops for the price match.Not happy with the time waisted and I was on time.Not happy with the appearance of lack of interest to do the job quickly and bumping up the labor cost to slow down.I truly believe this survey will be thrown out and not read because of the negative things mentioned, but thanks anyway for letting me vent just a little.

I took my vehicle in because of some engine noise issues amongst other very small problems. Previous mechanic diagnosed the problem and said it would need timing chains. This is a cost of about 2500$ to replace just one as my vehicle has two. Thomas Tire quickly found out it wasnt the timing chains that in fact it was the harmonic balancer that was broken and needed to be replaced. They saved me about 1250$. I highly recommend their services to anyone. The staff are very professional and caring with years of experience that you can trust.

My wife and I own a 26 foot travel trailer. We had a tire explod while just sitting in our driveway. I called Thomas Tire on Thursday before the 4th of July holiday and was told they could replace all four tires Monday morning. I arrived at 8:30am and the job was completed by 9:30. The people were all very nice and pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend.

When I dropped my car off in the morning they were already very busy but I was promised by the manager that they would do my car and it would be ready by the time they close. I double checked because I had to have it the rest of the week and again was assured it would be ready. When I showed up a few minutes before 5pm it was right where I left it, they never touched it nor called to let me know they would not be able to do it.

I have used Thomas Tires several times for vehicle maintenance. This most recent time was further reinforcement of my continuing having Thomas Tires service my vehicle. I had requested an oil change and new tires. I was given a couple quotes regarding the tires. When my vehicle was in the shop, I was called by Kristen, who advised that the only tires needing to be changed were the front 2. Instead of just selling me 4 new tires, she saved me over $200, but gained my continued service with them. They even picked up and dropped off my vehicle from/to my home, since my work schedule wasnt the most convenient.

I couldnt have asked for better service! They went above and beyond my expectations. Great service, as well as kind and professional staff. Im glad I chose to trust Thomas Tire for my car needs!

The folks up at Thomas Tire are always courteous and professional. They try to make sure you dont spend unnecessary money on parts or labor that may not even be needed to fix your vehicle. They have a shuttle service that makes it extremely convenient to drop off your vehicle, or to get picked up to get your vehicle, and still get to work or home.

Thomas tire and automotive was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful when I had car trouble traveling on the highway. They were fantastic and went above and beyond to help someone from out of the area.

Took my S10 for a fuel leak, it turned out to be a cracked fuel pump. They quoted me a price I agreed with and when it was ready it was a lot cheaper. Would definitely recommend them to anyone and will be going back.

I made a last minute appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. They got me in within an hour and was finished within an hour. I needed a new air filter, which they sent me a picture of what mine looked like so I knew it needed to be replaced. The staff is very polite and very good at communicating with you while your vehicle is being serviced. I will be returning to visit Thomas Tire and Automotive with my vehicle needs. Thank you!

I came in because I thought I was due for an oil change but they found it wasn’t due yet which saved me money but they went ahead and checked the oil and topped off all fluids at no charge. My experience with Thomas Tire has been very positive! They really do their very best to keep their word and give the best service! They have met my expectations each time I need them! Since I bought my tires they have gone out of their way to give me top rate service! They were basically closed one evening, they just had not locked their doors and they helped me fix a tire that was going flat from a nail I had run over. They didn’t have to, but they took care of me which gave me peace of mind! Great Customer service, I recommend them and I’m grateful they care!

I unfortunately didnt receive the care that so many else did at this place and it cost me a new set of tires. They did not do a front end alignment as requested when they put on my tires. Less than a year later, because of my lack of front end alignment, all 4 of my tires experienced cupping. The noise was unbearable and I would have to replace within the next year. The alignment was agreed upon verbally and because of another issue I experienced they waived the alignment fee so it wasnt on my receipt. I therefore had no proof they were the ones who neglected a front end alignment. They also denied hearing any noises (even though two other mechanics could hear it) when I brought it in and chalked it off as basic road noise. I took my business to Quality Tire & Automotive in Thomasville and they gave me a great price on a new set of Cooper Tires...more than $100 less than what Thomas Tire quoted me. I reached out to the manager at Thomas Tire and have not received even an acknowledgement. I do not recommend this place at all.
