I was super happy to finally get to try this place. I ordered online, for a curbside pick up. I was very much in a hurry as I am sure most people are at 7 am. Well I ordered a mocha coffee and a avocado toast. The total was well over $17.00. I called the restaurant 1 min before I arrived as stated on the receipt online. I did I was told that they would t have time for my order and if I wanted to come in I could. Well I had twin 5 month old babies in the car. Its a task to get them in and out. I was super upset. I understand that people think that curbside is rude. I understand, but dont offer it if you cant get your employees to do their work. I was treated so terrible from the person on the phone its detoured me from even calling to get my refund. Just absolutely crazy to think I out in my order 30 min prior to me arriving and being told that they didnt have time for me. Oh and they answered the phone not with a greeting but exactly this please hold. 17 bucks pretty much stolen.
We were excited to come and try the food at Cafe Andreini. Its a very cute place and coffee is actually good. The things that were not great is the time it took to get our food. It took 40 min to get 3 avocado toasts and a scramble eggs. The toasts are good but small and it should not take more then 5-6 min to make. In addition the scramble eggs were made in the microwave. Açaí was too liquid as well. I would recommend this place for coffee but not food.
I would give the latte 5 out of 5, it was smooth and rich. wake me up toast was delicious. The only complain that I have is that the tomato taste was over taking the overall experience. I liked the balsamic on the toast, I didn’t use the lime which was on the side because I wasn’t sure what the combination of balsamic and lime would be.
I love Cafe Andreini! Their staff is always so kind and friendly. They have the best treats and their coffee drinks are amazing!
Awesome place! The coffee is very good and they make a great latte. I had the open faced sandwich with lox on it...perfect in everyway. My wife had the bacon and eggs burrito and it was chocked full of moist eggs and potatoes and bacon, the salsa that it comes with was amazing.Whenever I go to AG I will be coming here. They also have beer on tap as well as wine.
Sorry to be a bummer about your establishment but our food experience was truly horrible... the outdoor dining was lovely, as my wife and I met up with our niece and her boyfriend and enjoyed being able to eat outside in comfort having all being fully vaccinated (except for the boyfriend)...but the menu was not what we expected and shame on me for not checking it out online ahead of time....I ordered the Italian something or other and my wife ordered a similar dish but from a different countrys origin....what we were served was cold, semi-stale slices of bread topped by a thin slice of prosciutto with some kind of a sauce....I gave half my meal to the boyfriend who decided not to order food because he didnt want me to pay for his meal...not being a natural complainer we left and still tipped the server, who was fairly unmemorable....We live in Nipomo and my wife does business in the Village and were there often...I get my haircuts there and she gets her nails done there...I wish you success in your business, but given the multitude of other options in the Village well be spending our dollars elsewhere ....
The coffee is good, but the food took a while for what it was. At one point they didn’t have ingredients for what I ordered so they offered me anything else on the menu. My replacement was cheaper and they didn’t immediately offer a refund for the balance, I had to insist. Overall it was an okay experience, small things they could fix. Cute low key spot to meet for a coffee date though. I appreciate that they seem eager to improve customer experience and will try out this place again.
Cafe Andreini is absolutely lovely. The large space still feels cozy and warm, and I appreciate their great customer service. The food is great and they have lots of variety. Its a fun place to slow down and relax with a nice beverage.
Beautiful Cafe with a variety of healthy food items. The 2 girls at the counter were killing it back there, taking orders and making drinks! My acai bowl was so yummy and the Americano was smooth and rich. Will definitely make this place a regular visit!
Really nice place to grab a cup of coffee, sit back and relax. The staff is very friendly. We had veggie bruschetta and scrambled eggs on toast. I found the food to be okay, not so good not so bad. The croissant was delicious though!
Food was delicious — we got the lox and Italian toast. The lox was perfect, the Italian was yummy but could use some olive oil perhaps, it was a bit dry. The place itself is cute and service was kind but rather slow — took us 35 mins to get our food (seemingly slow for a couple simple toasts).
Had a mocha but it was missing about 1/3 of the milk! It was all whipped cream. Pastry was stale as well... Friendly staff great atmosphere but wouldnt come for the coffee
Great place, coffee and food. Inside bathrooms, plenty of seating inside and outside. They also offer WiFi to guests.I certainly enjoyed your breakfast burrito and I love their salsa
Came in for brunch with a friend. Place is nice and clean but it was crowded. You order at the counter and then are given a number so they can bring your order out. We ordered a coffee, chardonnay, Avo Toast, and the Lox Cream CheeseToast. My Lox was extremely delicious and the Salmon was smoked perfectly! While enjoying my company, a small nat entered my chardonnay glass. I requested another serving and they gladly gave me another serving. Thank you for a great breakfast. Noise level is a little much at times.
Friendly atmosphere in local community. Great avocado toast options and good vanilla chai
The open face sandwich was delightful, a decadent slice of carrot cake and good cup of coffee. The staff is warm and friendly. I will be back
We order the Chai Charger every time and it always turns out perfect. Weve tried similar from others and nothing quite matches what Andreinis crew delivers. Also really love the Lox and Scramble open face sandwiches, especially when you take it over to the park for a brunch.
I highly recommend this spot. Ive had lunch with the girls here and stopped in for a blended Tuxedo to go. They have outdoor seating and its always nice to sit and watch the Village of AG go bye.
We were told to sit outside with my service dog and they would bring our order to us. Everything sat on the counter and a customer had to come out and tell us our food was sitting there. Don’t bring your service dog here
Great atmosphere, good food. Will return!
The ambience. The staff. The owner. The drinks and food. All top notch. I love this place!!
Great place to meet up with friends, have some good coffee & goodies. Nice outside seating with plenty of room for your furry friends
Over the top... go for their pastries and coffee or tea
Cafe Andreini has the best chai latte on the planet! I have tried hundreds of chai lattes over the years and none of them compare to theirs. The creaminess and perfect balance of flavors is so DELICIOUS! Denise and her staff go above and beyond for their customers! Support local businesses!
Lovely interior, friendly service and loved my drink.
Great local spot thats been around for years! Great environment, great coffee!
Love the food, the coffee and the environment! A big win with the family when they visited town. 10/10 recommend!
Born and raised Arroyo Grande native and finally visited this place for the first time this year in May while at the 2019 Strawberry Festival (Memorial Day weekend). Ordered the avocado toast and a Mexican Mocha and both were so good! Will definitely be back for more. The atmosphere is super casual and chill, as is expected from a coffee shop. Loved it, highly recommend!
Great coffee...and nice service
Good coffee but not sure when the cost went thru the roof! $3.35 for 2 shots. with a modest tip we’re at $4 for 2 shots. sad that this is becoming the norm. funny that their slogan is ‘nice town, normal people’ . maybe next year it will be ‘gentrified town, wealthy people’
Awesome treats, muffins and coffee selection.
I had to check on my order twice, then found 1/3 of the avocado was black once i moved the eggs---showed it to clerk, was going to tell her mgr. I left without waiting for manager --
Relaxed atmosphere even though things are trying to get back to normal from Covid. Yes limited seating but so is every other place. Coffee is good service is quick. Like the outdoor seating setup. Hope it stays...Update. This place still amazes me. Love their fresh bakeries. Relaxing sitting street side. Staff is so friendly so customer oriented. Can’t wait for next Sunday to enjoy another coffee or Chai Latte with fresh bakery selection.
This place is super cute! Staff is really nice and my Mexican chocolate was great!!
I seen the winter coat drive for the year 2020 and it reminds me I live in a good place.
Great!! Been visiting there for 17 years. Never tires me.
The nutty avocado open face sandwich was delicous. Happy that they are open early enough to get a bite in the Village before many other places open in the morning.
Stopped here for some caffeine and quick breakfast on my way to Santa Cruz, and man, did this place hit the spot! Got a double espresso that was Delicious and just perfect. Tried their breakfast burrito with sausage and was Not disappointed. Pretty tasty and filling, especially with their homemade salsa! Overall, the Vibe and atmosphere here is GREAT and just supremely chill and friendly! If youre on the road and lloming for a quick pit stop that wont disappoint, THIS is IT.
The inviting cafe for doing work, or talking, or simply reading. More choices than a simple coffee shop. The open face sandwiches are unique. Fresh food, interesting combinations. A definite go-to place if I lived in the area.
Great atmosphere created by decor art and personal touches. Love the layout. Excellent al fresco patio out front facing the Village💜Coffee is very consistent and hot! Great customer service and friendly staff.Five Stars❤️💜😎🐋🐟🐬🐳🐙🏈✔️🦑☑️
I was so very disappointed. I bragged to my family how great their coffee was. I used to live in the village area and walked down there all the time. It was great. Both the service was good and drinks. This time when I received my order it was just not good. My late was so full and so hot I burned myself just opening it to try to let it cool off a bit. Then when I finally could take a sip it was like just hot, very hot water. Had no taste. My guests coffee wasnt much better.
Cutest little coffee shop around! Food and beverages, and a great lounge area. Little library and sitting area in the back with a few kids toys makes a great atmosphere for all ages. Great little place!
Breakfast burritos(make sure to get the salsa, its amazing) and fresh pastries. The coffee is great and always happy service.
Wanted to try a new coffee shop today and I landed on this place. First off love the atmosphere, it is very vintage and retro. The baristas are very friendly and helpful. Coffee is amazing!! If you like blended drinks go for the peanut butter one. I will definitely come back when I am in AG again!
Fair experience today. The serving size was small but the food was good. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich which was supposed to come with coleslaw. He was told that they were out of coleslaw and only offered extra pickles. They could have provided another side or maybe gave him his soda for free☹️I had an open-face scramble which was the perfect bite each time. The sourdough bread is delicious!
Food just okay. Tables not wiped down after use.. a little pricey for the kind of food served.
Great atmosphere, super friendly service, awesome selection for a coffee shop. Had the Steele cut oatmeal with strawberry, bananas and cacao nibs-- let me tell ya it was delicious! Washed it all down with home brewed kombucha it hit the spot.
Relaxed atmosphere. Decent food and good coffee.
There barrios are the best Ive had
Just visited Cafe Andreini today...first time in awhile! WOW they now serve some great breakfast options, have a much better selection of pastries, and have a selection of interesting lunch options. As a local I am thrilled that we have another breakfast option. Heading back this weekend to try it out for a full breakfast!
Had lunch at Cafe Andreini today with a dear friend that I havent seen in years. We both had their Veggie Bruschetta open faced sandwich and 1 mango iced tea 1 mint iced tea🥰! Let me just say that the sandwich was DELICIOUS! It was at least 2 inches grilled sourdough bread, fresh creamy and chunky avocado (lots of it)😊, diced ripe tomatoes, diced, juicy red onion, I think a little basil and to top it off drizzled with balsamic vinegar! OMG FABULOUS🤗! The tea was very refreshing on this warm end of summer beginning of autumn kind of day. We could have sat there for hours and hours. The music playing was very enjoyable. Although they were very busy the atmosphere/mood was extremely inviting and relaxing! Definitely a place to add to your lets try that place list. Oh, yea...the prices were just right! Special lunch for $10! WHAT!!!! Thats an every Friday lunch😘
Andreini has great ambiance and good coffee.Prices are a little over the top but generally this is a fun place to come on a weekend morning.
I used to love to walk from my house to Cafe Andreini on the weekends for a cup of coffee and breakfast. Recently however, prices have drastically increased while the quality of coffee and service has been significantly lowered. The music is often blaring so loud you cant even hold a conversation. The staff treat you rudly if you need something, have a question, or take an extra minute to order even if they are not busy. I feel as if all they care about is getting an extra dollar from tourists and they no longer care about local patrons. Ive given this business many chances. Ive went at different times, tried different foods and coffees and the price is not worth it for the overall quality and atmosphere. I will not be returning.
I drive from Santa Maria to go here because I like the atmosphere. I like to spend the day here and work on my lap top, get a latte, and some food. Im a self proclaimed latte snob, so I judge pretty harshly, and there latte is just ok. There food is really good though! Plus they sometimes have live music which always scores extra points in my book! Go and support your local coffee shop!
Great coffee and a relaxing atmosphere. Ive only visited it once but plan on going back.
Always great. We take our kids here a lot they have a great little play area in the back with some toys that I believe they wash every night because theyre always clean. Really like this place.
Husband and I have been going here since we started dating and we really enjoy it. Good food and drinks, service is usually very good, and the atmosphere is pleasant.
Wake me up Avocado !! Was everything I needed this morning! My Carmel macchiato was delicious as well and the staff was extremely friendly and polite.
Cafe Andreini is a quaint little shop that serves all manner of drinks. It serves its purpose well! There are no extra gimmicks that could make it more unique, but it is a solid place, and well worth your patronage!
Great tasting açaí bowls and pumpkin breads! Mask friendly
Great coffee. Had the pour over and it has a very smooth taste. Staff is very friendly. Many options. Would return when I come back to the area!
Toast with No Butter, use the avocado!! Limited seating in front with limited shade! Every thing served with avocados, ok if youre a fan of avocados. Skinniest bacon Ive ever seen! Average for food choices and quality.
Place looked great and wonderful staff. Love the Macchiato I received. They may need an extra restroom though. There was lone to the one restroom they have. Other than that, great place.
Ordered the Acai protein bowl with blueberries, toasted coconut and almonds as topping. It was yummy but too cold. There were frozen acai chunks that gave me brain freeze.
Coffee is coffee pretty much as far as Im concerned, and this coffee is good for sure, but what I like about this place is the atmosphere. Its in an old stone building with high ceilings. The staff is very considerate, attentive and competent (Thank you, Joslynn) If you have kids theres a place with toys in the back and though parking is limited on the street theres also a huge parking lot and an entrance out back.
They have really good coffee and service! The vibe is chill and friendly :)
Love your cafe and dining!!!! Love that you use coastal peaks coffee!!!! I live right near coastal peaks and love it!!! I think I left my wallet in a jacket yesterday and I hope I can locate it so I can buy a coffee from you!!!
As a barista, I can tell you that the coffee is deafinatly worth the premium price. My suggestion would be the mexican mocha, which is some quality (I believe to be Arabica coffee) espresso mixed with skillfully steamed milk paired with mocha sause (chocolate) and cinnamon to make a perfectly smooth yet tasteful combination! The food is filling too! This place has a very family like vibe. Worth your time and money!
Good snacks and coffee in a lovely location. Appreciate that they have oat milk!
A little slow on the service, baristas need training on the proper way to make certain coffee drinks, staff could be a little more friendly. The venue is cozy and excellent for meeting a friend or business associate and the downtown AG location is great!
Best coffee place in the county! They have a one of a kind interior and a very family friendly and local vibe. Been going there forever!
Cute decor and atmosphere. The Mexican hot chocolate I had was delicious. The only problem was that the cafe was too crowded, and the music was too loud
This place is GREAT! They use real espresso in their blended drinks, not like Starbucks concentrate stuff... -Wonderful AMBIANCE and lovely staff behind the bar. Now all thats missing is the Jazz duo in the corner (which this room would do well with!).
My favorite coffee shop...Home away from home....soRelaxing ......great coffee and food. Very nice people.
Great local coffee place to sit and enjoy the village.
Excellent! A really nice place for light breakfast or lunch or quick snacks. Great coffee and barista drinks. Very nice staff. Family owned for 20+ years.
Delicious avocado toast and a nice atmosphere.
Normally its great but we waited outside for our coffee for half hour today. We received our toast after 20 min. There was one set of customers after me, so I believe it may of been hectic. None the less, that a long wait for coffee!
This is my FAVORITE place to visit when in Arroyo Grande. Nice homey vibe with amazing food. Try the caprese avocado toast, its the best!
Probably the best family owned coffee shop/Cafe on the central coast. There are a few others, like Linneas and Black Horse - and theyre good, but always willing to go to Andreinis.
Amazing!!! Avacado open sandwich, micro-greens, tomatoes, balsamic on sour dough toasted (soft, somehow) bread with Chai latte. Heaven.
Great coffee, very friendly smiling barista, wise tip for an excellent sweet treat my wife and I shared!
