I love this place and shop here every week. If you have a family and you are looking for the cheapest prices then probably not your best choice. Check out Aldi up the road. But if you want the best customer service, high quality food, unique local handmade gifts, health and wellness products, and to spend your money in a way that is environmentally friendly, responsible, humane, and community-focused them definitely check it out. So looking forward to visiting this store and finally had the opportunity to do so. Looked like a great selection for such a small place, including the produce. However I left without buying the few items I chose because a. one maskless employee got way too close, with no warning and was incredibly rude when I called her on it and b. the cashier seemed irritated that I required her assistance. Little secret people, selection is important but service is everything. I wont be back.

This market is the BEST! Dont be fooled by its size, it has almost everything youre looking for. The staff treats you like family. If you ever need anything they dont have, they go above and beyond to help you order it. They have a lot of local products at great prices. It is truly your quintessential neighborhood market that is superior to its competitors.

Such a little gem! My wife and I love coming here. They have so many great items, and do special orders whenever we ask. Their prices are really great and fair, and everyone that works there is always so helpful and happy. Their cafe is also top notch, with insanely flavorful dishes you cant go wrong with. Its my favorite market I have ever been too, hands down.

When my friend described this as the “French Broad Co-Op of WAVL”, I was excited to check it out 😃. This store didn’t disappoint, great prices, great selection, friendly staff and free parking pass when you park in the lot 🙌🏾. Major bonus the Sunflower Diner is attached so you can also get a delicious meal made while you shop 👍🏾. They are taking precautions by having hand sanitizer and limiting the amount of people in the store too, so the shopping experience is stress free ☀️

We ordered for delivery from West Village Market during Covid-19 and it was an awesome experience so we will be shopping there as much as possible from now on. A lovely woman called us to finalize our order and delivered it to our door wearing a mask and gloves. We got everything we wanted. The Farmacy Juice and Tonic Bar! Oh, my juicy soul, I love this place. The smoothies are crafted to perfection. I love that they invite me in the process in steps along the way—theyll give you a taste to see if its the flavor profile youre seeking. Folks behind the counter are authentic, intentional, and engaging. So lovely. A soul spot, for sure!The whole market is perfect. I just *love* it here!

This was one of my favorite places/ things about living in Asheville! I loved the food, people, and community it created here! The folks working here were always super sweet and engaging, always willing to help you out with anything and the owner is very involved and puts lots of love forth into that store! Deli always has fresh delicious food, always super creative meals. The produce is always great here, I love that they source a lot from local farms. The store may be small but it has so much awesome character, they try to make an impact in waste by handing out metal spoons/ forks for customers to take and bring back to reduce plastics. They also showcase a lot of local artists jewelry for sale. All around my favorite health foods store and best deli in town, highly encourage people to check it out! 💚

Great neighborhood grocery store that offers local, organic produce! They have small selection of everything but high quality! Also offers gluten-free, vegan, homemade items, seasonal, cheeses, chocolate, wine and beer, natural remedies, baby items, books and sundries, and more. Great gift shopping! Also, a local made-to-order deli offering sandwiches and soups. Vegan and gluten-free options. The Farmacy is a juice bar with limited hours but worth it!

This place has grown on me. Its a great neighborhood grocery with a heart and top quality product. The extra dollar or two I pay is worth the convenience and supporting this great asset and great staff. The deli has good prices, and their sandwiches are delicious. The juice bar is also top notch.

Love the breakfast burritos. They make them each morning and you can just walk in and grab one hot and ready made when you are in a hurry for super cheap. If you have the extra time the owners of the juice bar are so friendly and you can tell they really enjoy coming up with the different juice and smoothie combinations. They will make you whatever you are in the mood for or anything on the menu is delicious, really. Not your standard banana strawberry smoothies.

This quaint organic market has everything you could possibly want! With a unique selection of dry goods, a nice prepared food cooler with vegan and gluten free options, a sandwich shop in back, and a juice bar around the corner, this place is amazing! Each time I go I try something new, so glad they have lots of vegan, organic and local options.

Literally my favorite place in Asheville. Warm, welcoming vibe with amazing staff and great products. Theyve always got good coffee and mate brewed and ready, and if you get there in time for a breakfast burrito, they are the best in town. And dont miss hanging with Judy and Carl at the juice bar! Two of the nicest, most knowledgeable and caring people you could ever meet- and their juices and tonics are spectacular, I always leave feeling better than when I came! I love you West Village Market!!

There are so many healthy and local options here and the prices are pretty decent. I got a protein drink from there and it was so good!

West Village Market is an upscale, friendly, local market with a select array of products. They heavily focus on providing local produce, and other food items. You can find great deals on food if you work their sales and rewards program. Overall, I shop here because its a local business with respectable practices, and a nice alternative to the other grocery conglomerate in this town.

Great selection of groceries. This store offers alot of local products. Really fresh produce and an awesome beer and wine selection. The deli serves up some good food and has many in house made items. They also have a farmacy juice and tonic bar. Carl and Judy make some of the best juices around. All the employees are very nice and very helpful. I love this place and shop here at least 4 times a week.

The lady at the Farmacy is the absolute best! I came in one day shortly after my nephew was born a couple weeks ago and she gave him a free numerology reading. Also, the smoothies, juices and tonics are amazing and super healthy!

Great selection of your Health & Wellness needs in the center of West Asheville! The staff is always friendly and warm. We are also big fans of the Farmacy Juice Bar as they genuinely care about what they offer! Delicious deli food too!

Everyone that works at this place has always been friendly and nice to me. Their soups are always good, their sandwiches are even better, and some of their local food is cheaper than Earth Fare. Sometimes they dont have everything I need or they have run out of certain items, but its always worth stopping in.

Whenever Im in Asheville, I make at least one trip here. The store is small, but the selection is high quality. Fresh produce, locally made goods, bulk bins, organic/GF/vegan foods, good beer selection, and a great little deli are all great reasons to stop in. If I lived there, Id be here often!

The deli here is incredible if youre vegan/vegetarian. They make some of the best sandwiches in Asheville. Great tofu and seitan.

This place is one of the great heart beats of West Asheville! As the neighborhood gets more affluent and less Sesame Street, they consistantly represent what we love about our community. A little bit hippy, arty, punky, social justice, with the feel of a co-op or neighborhood green grocer, old time meeting place...great deli and juice bar. You just feel nourished there. Owner and staff are just great people! If you want to feel part of AVL...go here.

The Best Market Ive ever been in. The staff is so friendly and they have everything youll ever need Health wise. Its also a great hang out for great delicious food Wifi coffee and desserts to enjoy at there tables. Carl at the Juice Bar will blow your mind with all his Farmacy fresh made juice drinks. This market is an fabulous resource for West Asheville. Friendly staff, great deli, local produce. Usually you can find what you need. Pricing is comparable to the large organic supermarkets and even the chain supermarket down the road. No, you wont find 20 differnt brands of laundry detergent, a huge selection of frozen entrees or 50 kinds of cheese. Its a small space. I shop here first because its a local brick and mortar business that exudes West Asheville vibe. Who reads a review before they buy groceries? If you live in West Asheville and dont shop here, shame on you.
