Nice ice cream shop located in Downtown Asheville. Service was friendly and quick. They had a good selection of ice creams and toppings. Clean with ample seating.

DISGUSTING. The 2 girls working here touch the food with their bare hands after scratching their face, eyes and touching money. No hand washing, no sanitizer. Saw one of them prepping a banana split and literally pushing the banana slices with her hands into the ice cream. Also grabbing the cherries with her bare hands. Obviously masks are not a thing here for employees. We left and got ice cream at Ben & Jerrys.

Friendly staff, clean welcoming inclusive establishment. Had 3 flavors and thought they were ok, if I lived here Id definitely come back and try different ones though. My mother had one of their marble slab creations and she loved it.

Great spot for ice cream. Plenty of combinations to choose from. They offer a military/veteran discount as well which is awesome. Be prepared to wait in line but it is worth it. You choose the flavors and toppings and they mix it together and add it in a cone, cup, or milkshake if you want.

Pretty much the best dessert I have had in a long time. Considering being on Keto for 2 years almost and treating yourself on a great day....this was totally worth it. Thanks to the 2 people working today on the 16th, you made this day more special.

I go here every time we visit and its always been good. It tastes great and is not expensive. The kids love it too.

What a great little place with some fantasic icecream! Went there today and we loved it. Especially the House Made waffle cones! Together with the ice cream, a great combination!

I was so excited to pick up my boyfriends birthday ice cream cake, but after I got home and opened the box, I was so disappointed. First of all, the Happy Birthday written on top of the cake looked like a 6 year old had done it. Plus it was written in pink when I told them, not once but twice, that I wanted it written in chocolate icing. Also, it was the wrong size cake. I did not order a sheet cake. I ordered a round cake, which is much smaller than the sheet cake. Lastly, they got my order wrong because the requested flavors of the cake were completely missing and they got the icing wrong. I even had the woman repeat the order to me 2 times and they still made several mistakes. Huge disappointment. $50 wasted.

Next to the Hop, this is my favorite place to go for ice cream. They have 6-8 different types of dipped waffle cones and a large selection of ice cream that is all delicious. They also offer 2 crazy milkshakes with a bunch of stuff in it. They offer a rewards program that is also free and definitely worth it to sign up. Also, this is one of the few places that stay open past 9 or 10pm that offers dessert.

I have not had a malt in years. It was so good. It was perfectly prepared.

If you love ice cream, then this is your place. The staff was awesome and pleasant. The ice cream is the best.

Went there tonight, 7pm on a Monday night, and they were closed? What the what? Hours posted on storefront said 9pm, online said 8pm. I’ll go somewhere better

I got the strawberry shortcake ...loved it! My son got vanilla with chocolate drizzle & my husband got a chocolate waffle cone. Its so pretty in here with the color display of ice cream cones! Highly recommend.

I would consider myself an ice cream connoisseur, and am always looking for top notch places. Its hard to find places that separate themselves from average. Marble slab Creamery definitely does that well- the Ice cream was delicious! Good portion sizes (large, but thats a good thing). The ice cream is smooth and creamy, and they prepare it cold-stone style on a chilled slab in front of you. Will definitely go back next time were in Asheville.

Seems that Marble slab has their way of always putting their places in some of the most happening scenes. This one is located in the bustling in eclectic downtown Asheville scene.Whenever I go hear the fudge is always the thing that comes home with me it is pretty well-made.

Awful service, the lady was very rude taking our order, she was more worried about telling us to keep our masks pulled up while ordering, but she wasnt wearing a hairnet

My roommate and I live within walking distance and this is our favorite place to get ice cream. We buy it in quarts to take home. If you do this, you may want to use a cloth shopping bag for multiple containers.The ice cream is high quality, delicious, and reasonably priced. The service is excellent. I strongly recommend Marble Slab.

Awesome selection of small batch sorbet and ice cream. Pink grapefruit sorbet sounded amazing, but I was two scoops too late - all gone. One of the toughest choices you make today, may be - waffle cone (can come dipped in a myriad of combinations), or a shake ... Choices, choices

Terrible setup. The place is centered around picking your toppings to mash into your ice cream but they brilliantly decided to place the toppings beside the checkout register. Also there is not a list of toppings to be found on the wall. So how can you realistically keep the line moving with customers when you have to wait until the very end to choose your toppings and have them blend into the ice cream.

So far I have had both their red velvet ice cream and their cheesecake ice cream and I have not been dissatisfied by this place one bit! You walk in and are immediately greeted by delightful smells and fun colors, and even if the workers would rather be anywhere else they still greet you with a smile. They are very helpful and efficient. One of the best ice cream shops I’ve been to by far.

We always stop here on our Asheville visit! Similar to Cold Stone. They have friendly service and great portions. We love it!

I went in for a quick stop to get out of the rain last night and was promptly greeted and given wonderful service from the staff. Its very clean and the ice cream is good (Marble Slab usually is). There are no negatives as far as I can tell.

When a costumer calls 5 hours prior to closing, it’s not okay to just say “Maybe call again tomorrow, I have to go now.”

Yup, fill your boots, I did, and I could of carried on, the better half stopped me, poor form from her... boo.Lots of choice, cheaper than the other places nearby. This place is not a bouquet ice cream place, or doesnt feel like it, however what I had was as good as any ice cream you can buy in any shop. I know Im an frozen food taster.

I love marble slab, in my opinion it is a better value than cold stone as waffle cones are included in the price of the ice cream!

Adrian was so great tonight. When we walked in there was another employee sitting with her feet upon the counter before and after we walked in the door (tall, blonde/brunette hair in a bun) . She acknowledged but did not move from the top of the counter to help us but instead motioned for another employee to take care of us instead, who I asked for her name later (Adrian) as she was very friendly and helpful. I give four stars because the food and Adrian were great, but the counter employee left her mark as well.

Fantastic ice cream. Great selection of mix ins and way better than Cold Stone.For some reason when we visited, they were out of at least 50% of their ice cream flavors including vanilla. The line to get ice cream was long as well but the employees really moved everyone along.

If you want some great local ice cream, then this is a good choice, not too expensive either

ICE CREAM AND SORBET!!! 🤗🤗🤗I was more than ecstatic about this establishment having sorbet, and having 4 different options! Blood Orange, Pink Grapefruit, Mango and cant recall the fourth.. Multiple cone and cup options, shakes and banana splits! So delish!Our two very nice young gents making our sugar art behind the counter were really nice and oh so patient with us. (Between mine and my friends kids) 😁 If youre in the area, I definitely recommend you to stop in and treat yourself! 🍦!!!and dont forget to tip! 👍😎

Delicious ice cream with all the fixings mixed in on the aforementioned marble slab. Was a quick and easy visit to grab a cup of ice cream in no time, and escape the heat for a bit. Plenty of flavors and toppings to satisfy anyone, and the prices are on average for an ice creamery.

The ice cream was very good and lots of selections. It is definitely one of my top 5 places Ive been. All though it is a bit pricey, it Is about 6 dollars for a cone. If you are coming for shakes this place is also for you. They have a great selection of shakes, but like the ice cream it is expensive. They have some special shakes and they are about 10 dollars. The rest are about 6 or 7 dollars. Overall very nice place, I recommend this place.

Ice cream was delicious. The staff was very nice and helped me with samples. Also I have egg and nuts allergies and this place was perfectly fine for someone like me. Definitely recommend for anyone.

Awesome homemade Ice Cream with reasonableprices

I always enjoy the ice cream at Marble Slab Creameries but this one is poorly laid out. The bad dinning area is somewhat cut off from the rest of the tables. There are small, subtle ramps that have no trip hazzard warnings that made it pretty dangerous for my kids. The entrance was a major bottleneck and you had to cut through the line to get out of the dining area.

This place is always a winner.

If you are lactose intolerant this place does not care. They have one flavor of sorbet that tasted like perfume. The workers are amazing, but the ice cream is almost flavorless or if it does have a taste its nasty.

It is my favorite spot for ice cream. I have been here, and few other places but always come back to Marble Creamery. Their flavors are amazing.

Awesome high quality ice cream. They made too much of my finances milkshake and gave her a bigger size with no upcharge, and a scoop fell off a ladys cone before she paid and they offered to replace it for her.

The ice cream was really good. It was kinda pricey for the large it was $7 but you can add in as many toppings as you want
