I purchased the concierge messenger bag. I love the bag!!, but I initially had to send it back because of a defect. Bag was repaired flawlessly and included with my bag was personal touches for any inconveniences! I am very satisfied. Overall their customer service is great. Definitely will purchase again.

Back in October I ordered a bag from Made Leather. Maybe a week or two after I placed the order, I received and email stating that they didnt have to color that I wanted and would I take another color. The color that I wanted was due to arrive later that week. I replied to the email stating that if the color was not available by the end of the week, I would be ok with the other color. Well, two weeks later, I still had neither. Finally, i received an email with a tracking number. So, a week later, I click on the tracking number and the status still said label created. They never shipped it. So, I reached out again and they told me that they would check to see where the package was. Well, two weeks later and we are now in December, I had to reach out to them again. Keep in mind that when I am sending the emails, it is taking them a day or two to respond. Now again, we are in December and I still hadnt received the update on my package. So I finally ended up sending and email requesting a refund. So, I would not order from this place. Im sure the quality of the bag is fine, but the customer service is a total turn off, considering the price that you are paying for the product.

5 bags later and I am hooked! My husband is now hooked and I have also introduced my sister to the brand. We all LOVE LOVE our items and get excited when something new is released. The prices are fair for the quality and customer service has been great. I did receive one bag in which the zipper was stuck, but after one email the issue was resolved. The company sent me a return label and I was able to ship it back and quickly exchange.

I recently got the Navigator duffle and I really like the look of this bag. Its definitely different than 99% of what you see out there espically in quality. Additionally, I really appreciated the helpfulness of the Made team when I was trying to decide what bag to get for a light weekend travel.Heres what I really liked about this bag:(1) Its clearly a tough bag.(2) Color -- it looked great. Exactly as pictured (I got cognac)(3) Service -- Made customer support is extremely responsive and can help assist you in anyway necessary.(4) Workmanship -- the stitching quality is AMAZING and I found no issues with my bag. Two duffles, three purses and two backpacks in and Im hooked! The quality of the products are excellent and the variety in styles offered allow for versatility in use; work, play, summer festival style, extended weekend....When I had questions about which style would be best for whatever use I had at the time, customer service responded promptly and was extremely helpful. Their products make great gifts as well. Knowing youre giving a product of such great quality that will last for a long time is worth it.

I ordered a bag last year, it took a long time to arrive. However, I finally received it and was pleased with the product. Fast forward to April 2020, I ordered another bag that I have been eyeing. Well as of today, I still do not have my product. They sent a few scattered email about Covid, artesians, Morocco blah blah, blah...... Needless to say I will never order from this company again.
I struggled with whether I should write this review but I decided to do it! Maybe I can save someone else the headache.I was so excited to order a bag from this company- not only was I looking forward to supporting a black [woman] owned business, I really loved the way the company presented online. I quickly learned that looks can be very deceiving.I placed my initial order on November 14, 2019 (an alleged pre-order that was supposed to ship out at the end of November). I didn’t receive the bag I ordered until December 27, 2019. To say I was disappointed is a grave understatement. The bag I received was NOTHING like what was presented online- the leather was rough & dry, the dimensions that were stated on the website was not what was delivered, and the bag didn’t even fit in the provided dust bag, to name a few issues. Naturally, I reached out to the company for a refund since I didn’t get the product that I ordered and paid for, and their website policy allowed for refunds (at the time)! I was met with THE WORST customer service I’ve ever encountered from a business- big or small. My refund request escalated to the CEO, who not only refused to refund me my money, but after speaking with me (and me pointing out the refund policy) she changed the website’s refund language to state that the company does not issue refunds! TOTALLY UNDERHANDED AND SNEAKY! Luckily, I printed the policy which was in effect on the date of my purchase before this shady move.I returned the bag on January 14, 2020. After much back and forth (and me threatening to take legal action), the CEO offered me a store credit for the amount I paid. Thereafter, the company resold the bag on its Instagram stories, acknowledging the deficiencies- I have saved video screen recordings of the sale postings. NOT ONCE did anyone from the company reach out to me to apologize for selling me something other than I paid for. Had I received even an apology (because I’m human and a business owner myself, so I know all too well that things happen), this review would probably never have been a thought. But here we are...On February 22, 2020, I used my store credit to order a new bag (and added some more money to it because the new bag was more expensive). I finally got the bag on July 11, 2020. Notwithstanding the COVID-19 pandemic, I had to keep reaching out to Made for updates, as I heard absolutely NOTHING from the company or its CEO about my “new” FEBRUARY order. The last time I reached out, I received a pretty harshly worded response which advised me that I would get an email once my bag was ready to ship.I love the new bag I received but sadly, I will never shop here again. I’m very big on customer service. I don’t have to and will not give my earnest money to a company that does not value its customers or have solid business practices. Back in November, I was ready to be a customer for life, but now, NOPE...Shop at your own risk!(FULL DISCLOSURE: I added a few updates to my review on 7/15 in response to the CEO’s less than honest reply to my review. My original review was posted on 7/13. I have documented proof for ALL of the claims made in my review. I’m happy to share them with anyone who’d like to be informed about this company before spending their money here.)
The products are beautiful. My boyfriend and I have ordered 3 different things and each has been great quality. When we did have one small issue, the customer service was willing to work with us to quickly resolve the issue.

I have had nothing but problems with this company. I was initially excited about Made Leather Co and was happy to support it. However, those feelings have dissipated. Nothing but problems from the start. From customer service to the shipping times to their extending me a refund I never requested. Their customer service is nonexistent and you have to initiate contact to get any type of update on the status of your order. They offer no estimated shipping times or consistent tracking information.I ordered from their sample sale, twice. I received my first order approximately 4 weeks after I ordered. I ordered 3 items for my first order and only received 2, initially. I was told one of the items I ordered was no longer available in the color I chose and I could choose another color, which I did. That replacement item took almost 3 weeks for shipping. I liked the items I received, so I ordered again from their sample site. When I inquired about the status of my second order, approximately 2 weeks after ordering, I was told that, while the items were ordered via the sample site, they should not have been because the sample sale had ended during the time I ordered and the items were supposed to be in inventory on the regular site. How was I supposed to know that being that the sample site we site was still active when I made my second order?At any rate, they offered to honor the items in my 2nd order at the sample sale price and I was okay with that. However, when I inquired about the status of that order almost 8 weeks later, as I had not received any communication or tracking information from them, I was informed that the items were stuck in customs!I made the second order in April 2019 and had not heard from them regarding the 2nd order by June 2019. I was upset because it didnt take almost 8 weeks for the first order to arrive. As a result, they offered a refund, due to inability to fulfill the order in a timely manner. I did not ask for a refund, I just wanted my items.I understand the product comes from a different country, supposedly. However, it would be nice to get an update email or some type of communication from the company letting the customer know whats going on.I am curious now if they even put the order through. I contacted the CEO on June 6, 2019 and she was the one who offered the refund, which never asked for or even mentioned. She did offer to use the monies paid to purchase an item readily available. I declined and just went with the refund. She stated I would receive the refund in 3-5 business days. Well, here we are, on this day, June 18, 2019, and I have yet to receive my refund and there is nothing pending at my bank.My suggestions to this company:-Get the logistics of your company together.-Get a better tracking system.-Do better with your customer service because it is practically nonexistent and customers shouldnt have to continually initiate contact via email only, to check on the status of their orders.Further, if you can send Luvvie and the NFL agents FREE bags, surely you can send PAYING customers their bags as well, and in a timely fashion!ETA: I called my bank and was told the refund was issued and then they had it reversed! Im not sure how or why they did it, but I have my suspicions. I dont know what is going on but I would advise doing business with this company until they can get themselves together!!!!
