Today I brought my favorite car ever in to have a 4 wheel alignment done. I have put a ton of work into restoring this 20 year old two-seater. The Service Team and the Technicians that I spoke to and did the work on my vehicle were professional and listened to me. I was incredibly satisfying to leave my car in the hands of people I felt were going to take good care of it. The result? The care feels the best on the road it ever has. I love it! I didnt expect this to cost so much. They went over what they were going to charge and came up with $350 worth of services. I approved that. Then the bill was $450. I asked what the extra $100 was for and asked them to recalculate. Suddenly the bill was $405, not $450. They had tacked on a tire rotation. They didnt even check the windshield wipers of which one needed to be changed. A small but annoying problem. I am disappointed.
The lady I was working with was very professional and did everything that she can to make sure everything was figured out off the bat so there were no surprises at the end. She even helped with other business needs to tie into their location for my other vehicles. Great place when you work with the right people.
My wait time was 10+ minutes and it looked pretty busy that day. Left my vehicle and had an oil change. Never got a call back that it was ready so I called after 2+ hours and it was ready for pickup. Other than that, good oil change.
Its a nice touch to have the video of the service sent to you. Its shows you care about being respectable and informative.
VW Care 10K miles & 20K miles was on my Window sticker when I purchased my 2019 Golf. I made an appointment to have my oil changed on 9/22/2020 at 1pm.......Everything went smoothly in a timely fashion as I waited less than 1 hour for the 10K Checkup....Everybody at Auburn VW was friendly & courtesy including Jerry the service director who answered my fussy particular questions about the oil spec that VW dictates for my Golf engine.....I did NOT pay (again) for this OIL CHANGE as it was a option on my Golf when I made the purchase. I DO NOT know what Auburn VW would ordinarily charge for a 4qt Oil & Filter Change ???
Friendly and great service. Was greeted and helped right when I walked in. Went in for an oil change and a 20,000 mile inspection. They ended up finding a leak and got it fixed. It took 3 hours total for everything. I waited there but they offered drop off and pick up service. And gave a free car wash coupon at Brown Bear upon service completion.
I usually call and make an appointment over the phone, but when I tried to do so this time I kept getting the voicemail machine. After attempting to get ahold of someone over a period of days I decided to use their online scheduling service. It was super easy to do and was able to request a rental car at the same time!When I got to the service center, the check-in lobby was filled and they were excepting cars that were 30 minutes late to their scheduled appointment. I showed up on time (8a) and didnt even begin the check in process until 8:20a. As the lady was checking me in she didnt know what I was getting done as she said the online scheduling doesnt list everything out, she also wasnt sure if I needed a rental car or not (was also requested online).Since the last time I requested a rental car from VW Auburn services they have increased the daily price (no big deal), and have outsourced the rental cars to Enterprise. So I had to wait for a van to take me to Enterprise, then when I got there I had to wait in line, choose a car, and then go through the rental process with the worker.What used to be a very good, fast, and convenient trip to get my car maintenance has now changed into a long, drawn out process that caused me to be late to a teaching job. If I would have known about the new rental process, I may have gotten to the service center earlier.I have tried to contact the center by phone multiple different times, on multiple different days, and have not once gotten an answer or a call back.

Very easy to schedule a service. The dealership partnering with Enterprise rental car with dealership pick up and drop has made alternative transportation convenient and affordable. Text updates regarding the progress of the service visit help keep the customer informed.
Auburn Volkswagen is terrific! They were ready for my appointment when I walked in and there was no unnecessary waiting. They are knowledgeable, courteous and professional. This is what has kept me coming back for years.
Came in for an 8AM appointment to look at malfunctioning Apple Car Play and was told it could take over 2.5 hours because they were running behind (when I scheduled I was told it would take 1.5 hours). Thankfully it took under 2 hours but I live over 30 mins away and dont have a flexible work schedule - I cant show up to be told that my service may not get done, not to mention pay for gas etc. While the issue was fixed when the tech walked me through, Apple Car Play proceeded to malfunctioning again as soon as I left the lot. I called back immediately and they said to come back anytime. Obviously I didnt trust that approach given the unpredictable turn around times. Will go to VW University or Carter next time.
This is the second time I’ve brought my car to the auburnVW dealership. Both times it took them 3 months to fix, and I never got a loaner car until the last week before they fixed my car. Got my car back and it felt off, something didn’t seem right, so I brought it back the next day and went on a test drive with a tech. I told him what I felt and he agreed with me and said some other issues he felt and suggested I leave my car with them (in mind this was on a Monday). I leave the car with them and was told i would get a call at the end of Monday or Tuesday. I didn’t get a single call until I called them on Wednesday asking about the car.. ONLY to find out they already took a look at the car YESTERDAY and no one called me, and to make it better I spoke with the same technician who went on the drive with me and was told “we could not feel anything wrong with the vehicle”… how tf does that make sense?! Another problem I felt was weird and unacceptable was i was told my car would be cleaned after picking it up. I go to pick up my car and everything that was in my glove box, was on the floor in the passenger seat!!! Why they were in my glovebox for any reason is beyond me, didn’t even get notified for anything like that, and for it to be on the passenger floor is disrespectful. You don’t tell a CUSTOMER we are cleaning your car and for them to find it that way. I’ve been really disappointed with VW customer loyalty and helpfulness, it’s always a hassle trying to contact someone there especially if they will not contact us.

Best experience ever at a dealership! Ive been a service advisor for a dealership before (Dodge/Chrysler) and i must say that I was treated as well as I treated my own customer. I will definitely be back!!
Went in for a oil change, inspection, battery test. During their inspection they noticed my front brakes were wearing low, and one was wearing unevenly. Thankfully they were avoid a full replacement by oiling the caliper pin, as it was stuck.Only downside was their inventory was off, and they had to order parts, leaving me without my car for 2 days.
Problem with satellite radio not connecting to service - after diagnostic, told that satellite antenna, which needed to be ordered, needed replacement. Called back next day to place order - never done, waited weeks until I called back and pressed them to complete order. When part came in, service was done quickly but on driving away, found that the problem still existed. They paid for rental and kept car three more days to discover that diagnostics had been wrong and radio itself needed replacement. They refunded antenna replacement without argument. 1 star for service quality but 5 starts for service recovery.
Everyone was friendly and professional. I dropped off my vehicle in the morning and the dealership provided free uber/lyft transportation back home and when the service was completed. One small mishap, they gave me the wrong vehicle key when I went to pick it up and it took them 10 minutes to find it.
Service personnel communicate via text. Techinician sends video of vehicle inspection and talks about what they are inspecting and the condition of those parts. Nice to see the underbody of the car and gives one confidence knowing safety is a top priority for this dealer. Worth the money to have a good inspection every 10,000 miles. Gives me peace of mind.
Our service advisor was very slow to respond to calls, always stated he was too busy. We paid way more than I expected to pay. Very expensive and bad service
I brought my car in because my timing chain had snapped on my way to work, I had the car towed to this Volkswagen, they had my car about 2-2 1/2 weeks & said they had fixed and replaced everything that needed to be done. I come to pick up my car on Friday & 30 minutes after picking it up my check engine light comes on & EPC along w tire pressure and traction control so I bring it back & they tell me it’s a faulty ignition coil & that they’ve replaced it, fast forward I pick my car up yesterday am driving it to work this morning and the SAME thing happens. This is the 3rd time I’ve brought my car back to this dealership, I am beyond frustrated and the service writer Kelly was extremely rude, had a poor attitude and kept mumbling under her breath. Very unprofessional, you guys need to get your service department figured out. Very frustrating experience I will not be bringing my car back to this VW dealer after I get it back again. Super disappointed in this experience

It was extremely helpful getting a video of my vehicle detailing what work should be done and how soon as well as what they were planning on doing as I wasn’t able to take the vehicle in myself. It was done it a timely fashion and I have no complaints, and would recommend this for your VW services.

I took my 96 Winnabago Rialta motorhome (which is built on the 1995 VW Eurovan chassis) for a transmission flush. They found a couple of leaking lines going to the transmission cooler, which I asked them to replace. They paid for an Uber ride home (6 minute wait after I dropped off the van) and did the service in a timely manner, making sure I got it back before another appointment I had. Kelli, the service rep was friendly and knowledgeable, and said they have a mechanic there who loves to work on Rialtas, something that can be hard to find. On top of all that, they gave me a discount on the price they had quoted me. I will definitely go back if I need more work done.
Auburn VW service is a professional and friendly group that clearly detailed my cars service requirements. I feel that they charge a fair price and provide good communication.
I always get my Volkswagen service for the following reasons. They provide Uber service to and from if needed. They always text you 30-point inspection videos while your car is there. Theyre also happy to text an email back and forth about questions. Service loaner cars are always clean a nice and only charge $10.

Service was done promptly. The service Dept. also informed me of a recall and performed that service at the time. Also washed the car at no charge. Would recommend.

My battery died and before we knew that for sure, Auburn VW took the time to discuss my options. Then, once we knew the battery was the issue, they got me in right away to replace the battery. I was back on the road with a working vehicle within hours.
It has always been a pleasure dealing with these guys, especially in comparison with my experiences with some of the car dealerships up here in Bellevue and Kirkland.

I have owned a Volkswagen Jetta and Volkswagen Passat that I have had serviced at Auburn Volkswagen for both major and minor services over the years. The service team there does a great job both in communicating what needs to be done, as well as completing the work in a timely manner. They are also highly trained and can make you aware of recalls or other issues (which they did in my case) which is an advantage over independent shops in my view.
I always appreciate when someone makes me aware of upcoming service things that will need to be done to my car but then doesnt pressure me into doing them that visit. I am happy with the work I have done at this Volkswagen dealership.
