Owner Jody is a 20+ yr Mercedes master mechanic so he easily took care of my Volkswagen and now takes care of my Honda minivan and Camry. Honest, affordable, and skilled. Hes busy so hard to get in but if you can, hes good.

We have used Raines Automotive for 3 of our cars. One is a Lexus, one is a Chevy Tahoe and one is a GMC Truck. He is excellent on any make of car. My family and I were taking multiple cars up I-80 to Tahoe the Sunday before Christmas, and one of our cars filled with my wife, two daughters and two Basset Hounds had a water pump break on us near Colfax. This could not be a worse day to have this happen and there were no mechanics in Colfax. We manually pored water in the radiator and headed back to Auburn hoping we could find a mechanic to help us. We are so blessed to have found Jodi that day. He was so kind to allow my family to stay in his childrens playroom at the shop with our hounds while he diagnosed our problem. We ended up having to stay the night in Auburn and delay our arrival to Tahoe by one day, so we could give Jodi time to fix our car as well as we could not find any rental cars on Sunday anywhere. Jodi even let my family borrow one of his older work trucks to unload our broken down GMC Terrain and get the contents over to a hotel in Auburn. Jodi was a pleasure to work with. My family is very thankful we found him to help us. He did a great job fixing our Terrain and communicating thru the Christmas break. Jodi enable our family to have a Merry Christmas. Thank you sir!
