We just had a water pump replaced on our van - they gave us a very fair price and had the job done within hours. The mechanic we spoke to was knowledgeable and really friendly. Overall, a very positive experience. Well definitely go back to them for the next repair we need.

I’ve had other vehicles worked on at other shops in the area, and always felt like I wasn’t being told the entire picture about what was going on with my cars.Michael explained everything to me very well, answered all my questions, and delivered my car when he said he would.Absolutely recommend this shop to anyone who needs transmission or other work done.

With our personal experience with this shop we had a vehicle with a bad transmission. We felt the dealer was toying us around and not being completely honest. Michael from Auburn transmission and repair was the complete opposite. Took it in and got a straight up estimate free of charge no hassle. With our situation it was better off for us to not get the repair done and trade in our car for what it was worth. While the car was in the shop over the weekend no one was there and we needed our car desperately for us to be able to trade it in on a Saturday. With a HUGE thank you to Michael he drove from an hour up north to the shop to let us retrieve our car.So even though he didn’t service our car this place is a honest and respectful place and I will be going there in the future for any repairs I may need.

The original transmission in our Expedition lasted for almost 210000 miles before it needed a rebuild. Auburn Trans and Auto Cost performed a rebuild for a cost of 3900 dollars, with a one year, 12000 miles warranty. The rebuild trans lasted just under three years and 42000 miles, and left me stranded on the side of the road in Lewis County. This time, I took the truck to Thurston County Transmission, for a rebuild that cost less, and carries a lifetime warranty. We keep our vehicles for many years, and keep up on the maintenance. A 42000 mile trans rebuild is not my idea of good value. Cannot recommend.

Called around to 4 different places close by for quotes and all were fairly close in price and was going to pick one but decided to try a 5th place and I am impressed by the knowledge, service, price, honesty and work. You’ve won a loyal customer guys!

I was having issues with my car with lots of smoke from engine and i dropped in to this shop to have it looked at.It looked very busy but the manager came out and greeted and after seeing the smoke he had me fill my info and then had one of his tech check the car out in the parking lot.I was told that my valve cover was leaking bad and needed it changed but said its better to change both.Price was great asked me to come back in a couple of hours and it was done.Fast service,great price and even got a warranty with the car.I will go back there again.Thank You.

My son was home for the holidays and the transmission in his 2006 Jeep would not shift into 4th gear. We had an estimate from the local dealer to replace the transmission. :( Mike Kahns guys repaired it instead at only 40% of the $$ the dealer wanted. :) Mike was very helpful in expediting the work so my son could head back to Spokane. I just found my new auto repair shop!!

I brought my mustang to Auburn transmission after my throw out bearing blew up. They had my car back to me in less than 24 hours. They were very clear with their pricing and didnt add anything to it that I didnt request or agree to. There did end up being a problem with the clutch that was replaced, it was a manufacturing defect in my opinion not their fault, but they held true to their word and fixed it under their warranty, at no cost to me. You can trust this garage, they stand by their work and strive to make you happy.

I have been taking my Car here for 4 years and they always do us good.Being a female i am always leary about mechanic shops but here they treat us very well and the prices are way better then most shops.Thank You and Merry Xmas guys.

Had my transmission rebuilt here last week.Owner gave me a price and it was done in 2 days.All i do now is go back and have it checked in 10 days,Chris seemed very knowledgeable, Thanx guys.

Im owner of a Ford and they see me quiet a lot with my Ford fall apart problems and for the past 4+ years coming here I always leave with NO issues and a happy car, till the next new Ford issue haha.

I had an estimate from a major repair shop for brakes on my car and it was over $1100. I decided to google brake shops in Auburn and Auburn Trans popped up. I called to see what their prices were but he suggested to bring my car in for a free brake inspection. After they checked the car out they confirmed that i needed what was on my estimate but they did the same work for $790 out the door and gave us a 1 year warranty on parts and labor. Thanx Chris for all your help.

I had bought a livingsocial voucher to use at this shop voucher (Front or Rear Brakes Service that Includes New Pads, Resurfacing of Rotors, and All Labor) according to other reviews, it seemed worth it. however...First off, i had driven from Seattle to Auburn which is 1 hour drive. when i got there i dropped my car off expecting them to do what the voucher stated. I know my car needs a brake job. 20 minutes later i got a phonecall from them saying i need special brake pads and needed to pay for all the rotors out of pocket. (which shouldve been paid for via voucher). He had a whole list of things that i needed repaired before i could use the voucher. he even said i had no motor oil in my engine which would be impossible because i wouldnt had been able to make it there and back. thats ridiculous, he just made a bunch of of stuff up! he gave me a estimate of $600 i refused. my uncle owns a repair shop as well i bought it to him and we both agreed that he was ripping me off! i have a fairly new car and i keep it maintained frequently. they are a bunch of scam artists there reel you in with a good deal and pile on unnecessary repair fees to the point that you dont you even want to do business with them. in conclusion, they didnt do any work on my car and wasted $60 on a useless voucher. I will never return!Please Note.I am not writing this out of spite, im not bitter or angry. I am just stating what had happened, and i do want A refund as I didnt get what i paid for.

Thank you guys.I was told that my transmission was bad in my ford truck so i decided to get a 2nd opinion.So i took my truck to Auburn Transmission and and Michael asked me a few questions and said he would call me and let me know whats wrong with the Transmission.I got a call back saying that the reason my truck was slipping is my 4x4 was stuck in low gear and Transmission was fine.They repaired my truck for under $700 and even gave me a 90 day warranty.I wont say where i took it to before but they are a big company and they said it would cost me between $2600 and $3500.I am glad i did what i did and not only did i save money but Chris who showed me how to use my 4X4 was very help full and kind in explaining what happened.I will from now go there since the do all kinds of repairs.DG

I talked to Mike the owner on the phone and decided to take my car to Auburn Trans and Auto repair. What a mistake. Mike quoted me a price, then he called a couple of times because they found something else, so the price kept going up. I needed my car so I told him to just go ahead. When I would call to ask when my car would be done Mike would get very rude sometimes. He kept telling me the wrong parts came in, so what he said would take a day actually took 3. I will not be taking any of my cars back.
