I’ve had 4 tattoos done by Nicole at Action. Absolutely love each one. I get stopped all the time from people telling me how beautiful my shoulder tattoo is. Highly recommend Action and especially Nicole.

Absolutely hands down a great place to get your next tattoo or piercings, the hourly chair costs are really reasonable for the quality of work these artists put out.I went here on the recommendations of my friends and coworkers who had work done here in the past and they were right.Mike did a great job on a color job for me on my hand conversation was great and getting to meet the other artists and joke around with them.My partner didnt have an appointment but they got her in for a more difficult piercing that in and of itself was awesome.Picture edited for privacy.

Went in for a tattoo appt/consult this morning..Specified what I wanted..The front desk gal said someone could help me around 4 today. Went back and a different lady was scrambling to find someone who could help cause the original one was busy. Not a good impression. Please note that your customers time is just as important as yours. Dont waste it

Nicole is a bomb artist! She helped me decide what colors to go with depending on my skin tone which helped my indecisive self. Her color work is beautiful, I get compliments on the daily! If you’re looking for color work or flowers she’s the one to ask for. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone 🙂

I went in to have more tribal tattoo work done, which is pretty basic black work. The lines are crooked, its not filled in evenly and doesnt match the rest of the tribal on my body. I need to get the rest filled in and Im sure as hell not going in there to get it done

Big Mike did a excellent job on my 7 chakras tattoo he was very nice & kept up a good conversation to distract me from the minor pain! I will be coming back to him and get more soon. Definitely recommend him for good laughs & great tattoos!

I went in a got a small tattoo that I was charger more than the shops minimum.. literally the smallest tattoo possible. And the quality of it isn’t worth what I paid.. I’ve had a hand full of artist tattoo me and this was my least favorite… friend got a piercing and was very unsatisfied and they didn’t care she didn’t like it. Unprofessional.

I had a poor experience with a previous artist, so Rich (the owner) cleaned up my tattoo and made me absolutely fall in love with it. It was a cover up of a name so very sentimental to me to see it gone. The conversatin with him never got dull and he knew exactly what i was going for. Ive been going to Action for years and would highly recommend it. After reading some of the unhappy reviews,Id like to make a statement that things can happen at any shop anytime, but thats life, and going here is worth your time.

My girlfriend came here to get a tattoo 3/4 the size of a dollar bill. First off. The artist, Nichole, was late, she then didnt listen to my girlfriends vision on color and shading. Her line work was terrible, and you can visibly tell where those stops and starts are. Then, since Nichole was late, and under-prepared, she charged my girlfriend 50 dollars over the initial quote for 15 bloody minutes. Needless to say, my girlfriend wants her money back.

Rich the owner does all my work. He’s fantastic as well as all the other artists.

We have had a few experiences with Nicole- first she messed up on a tattoo that was very important to us- she wouldn’t listen to what our vision was. Then most recently unfortunately we got scheduled with her again and were going to give her another chance. I put a large deposit and was told we could come in possibly earlier if we got off work in time. I called and Nicole said sure first come first serve so we rushed there within 10 minutes and we’re sent away. I called to ask for deposit back where Nicole said she didn’t know “drama” was busy and yes I could have my refund. Went in and she told us to wait 20 minutes for our deposit back and btw took $40 out even though she said I could have my deposit back. Horrible customer service from her.

Ive had work done here before and liked the out come but i dont think ill be going back with better options right down the road. My girlfriend had got her first tattoo from lisafer. The artist was an hour late for a scheduled appointment, then continued to rush a poorly done FLOWER on her arm whilst telling her she had to hurry because she had another appointment soon. Rounded splotty tips, busy design, and bad service. She clearly wasnt proud of her work. Another occasion i asked for a tattoo and i saw one of the artists frantically shake her head no to tatting me while she had nothing going on and i had to get work from an apprentice. Go some where else if you have the time

Called ahead was told apprentices take walk-ins in the mornings and I could not make a appointment. Arrived shortly after opening and was told no walk ins and the next appointment was weeks away and to make a deposit...... Would have been nice to know before making the hour drive.

The piercer and front young woman were so sweet and professional they did an amazing job they were so attentive me and my sister had a wonderful experience I highly recommend this place

Not sure which to put first between cleanliness or friendliness both are tops!! The ladies at the counter are amazing and super hospitable especially when youre sitting for a long session. All of the artist in here have thier own style so check em fot your style and get wild. Extra honorable mention to Ian Hill for the colors and freestyle into the unknown. Will definitely be back to continue the masterpiece

I got my tattoo here on 1/21/19 and Nicole does amazing work! Everyone in the shop is very professional and helpful i also got nipple piercings done here by Max on 10/20/18 and he made it super comfortable he talked my sister and i through it the whole time. All in all this shop is the best Ive been to so far! I know where i am going for my ink work 😁

Have had 3 different tattoos done my daughter got her ears pierced and the guy was very nice and talked to her like a big kid and she was comfortable with him piercing her. I was just there and got my septum pierced and the same guy pierced me and he was super nice and informative

This store needs improvement! I have been here three times and the last two times were a mess! The second time I went there for an appointment, they had completely forgotten about me and were starting on another customer who was a WALK IN! I had to stand up and remind them I was there. That was frustrating. Third time, tattoo artist was 40 minutes late to the appointment, and they have signs everywhere saying that you will NOT get your deposit back, Im assuming even at the fault of the shop. So I will not be returning, tattoo was fine but shop is run horribly.

Went in for a septum piercing. The staff was friendly and informative. They answered all my questions and made my first piercing a very enjoyable time. Max is a very professional piercer.

I wanted to get a traditional black panther, and chose to check out Action Tattoo because it was close to work and had really good reviews. Stopped in to book an appointment and spoke with the owner Rich and two employees. All were helpful and immediately recommended Justin Shelton when I mentioned traditional. They had me check out his portfolio and I booked an appointment. At the appointment Justin offered some design ideas based on the source material I sent him and after a few changes he got to work. He did the outline exactly off my source and then used his expertise to shade and color it in. It turned out awesome! Definitely recommend Action Tattoo and Justin Shelton.

I have had three tattoos done by three different artist here and between friends and family all of them. Every single one turned out amazing and will be my tattoo shop of choice for more to come ! 10/10

I went with a friend that was shopping for a portrait artist. The tattoo turned out better than even expected. Great shading and definition. I would highly recommend Acton tattoo for any portrait work. Im fairly sure the owner did the job.

I wouldn’t give this shop a rating at all if it were possible! First we we REQUIRED to come in the day before to pay a $40 appointment fee and consult with the artist who specialized in the type of tattoos we wanted. We were there, but the artist wasn’t. We go back the next day to have the work done and what a let down. I had spent 4-5 hours drawing up what I wanted. The artist didn’t seem to have much interest in listening. My sister and I were having the same wording done but stylized differently. He drew up some stuff I didn’t like and I finally remembered I brought my mock-up and was showing it to him and he complained that HE had drawn it up FOUR times etc etc. well, we drove to an appointment HE DIDN’T bother to show up for. After that, I told him that he wouldn’t be doing my work, but my sister had him do hers.This artist and shop weren’t for me.Should have known when artist didn’t show for consult.Guess it wasn’t meant to be and when all the stars align I am sure I will find what I need.

Went in for my first tattoo last weekend and seeing as how it was my first, I do wish things would have been explained a little better (more in depth) and I could have been informed a little more as to what he was doing and the procedures on stuff. On any piercing Ive ever had in my lifetime, everything going on was explained in so much depth that I didnt really have any questions. But I also dont know if thats normal or if thats just the customer service side of me expecting more than I should. I asked a lot of questions and got clarification on the things that I needed-which anyone should do especially when it comes to a tattoo. I did feel a little rushed. Things happened really fast but that also could have been my nerves or just the way things usually go when it comes to a tattoo shop. I mean people dont go there just to hang out right?! I was recommended to come to this shop after a family member of mine came here a few months ago and I will say that overall I am very happy with how my tattoo turned out. The aura was good and the lady and the front counter was SO awesome! She made good conversation with me and truly eased my mind on my fears and first time nerves. The other artists/employees made small talk with us and you could tell they all really enjoyed working together (which is nice) I think I would definitely recommend this shop moving forward. Ben did my tattoo and told me to come back in three weeks for a basic check up and hell do touch ups if they are needed.

My 5 year old wanted to get her ears pierced and I refused to take her to one of those mall places due to hygiene reasons. I called this place and they told me they can do her piercings when she is 6. So we waited for a few months to pass and for her to turn 6. This place was super with her. Everyone was very friendly and told my daughter that it is a piece of cake. She was nervous but the person doing the piercings was superb. He explained every step and my daughter said she didnt even feel any pain. It was a very pleasant experience. Several weeks later one of her earrings fell off at recess and I couldnt get the earring back on. The piercing person redid the piercing at no cost as soon as we walked in. I cant say enough good things about him. Very happy mama here. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I had a 12 year old tattoo that I needed fixed. Lisa was able to work with the old tattoo design and make it something I love. Beautiful work.

Had my lip pierced here when I was 14, got my first tattoo done here when I was 18 (by Mike, who did an amazing job!), and just went in this week (almost 21 now) to have them fix some janky ear piercings I got elsewhere. Every single time I go in everyone is super chill, friendly, and extremely helpful. They are INCREDIBLE artists and so knowledgeable and professional. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get any kind of body art done. Will definitely be going to these guys for many more years to come!

I absolutely love the results from Action Tattoo, like legit best first tattoo experience. I got my tounge pierced 2 years ago and was happy with the experience so thought why not a tattoo? The artist Ben was super awesome and I couldnt be more happy with what he designed and the initial process of getting it done. I definitely will be going there again for my next tattoo during spring break.

So I went to this place with my friend a few weeks ago. We didn’t plan on getting our tattoos that day but they ended up taking us. My tattoo was very small, about quarter size. I’ve been to this location before and had no problems but this time I had Lucky. I’m very unhappy with my tattoo ( just line art). Some areas are MUCH thicker than others and some aren’t even lined. Super unhappy and will not be coming back.

I went there for a Septum piercing. the guy who helped me, his name was Matt (maybe Max, sorry bad with names) was very helpful, and nice with giving me all the information i could ever ask for. while doing it he kept talking me through the whole process which was very comforting. then after words he kept checking in with me making sure i was ok. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND going here. defiantly will go back if i ever need another piercing and would recommend to anyone. the shop was SO CLEAN you could eat off the floor. i also loved how he made sure everything was sterilized thoroughly before doing anything.

Ive gotten 2 tattoos here done by Justin, and my fiancé got 1 by him as well. Shop is clean, laid back (in a good way) and enjoyable. After moving to Texas, I wish Justin couldve came with. Amazing art, he will work with you to give you exactly what you want, and he is excited about tattooing. Fair price and good experience. Might need to hold off tattooing and just fly back to see him!

Horrible tattoo 3 mistakes including not dotting an I & forgot to fill in 2 areas Will never go back to that particular so called artist. 👎🏻👎🏻 Didnt even go back for him to fix it, if he can’t get it right/ perfect the first time I see no point, why so he can make it worse, no thank u. Cost was spendy for what I got, think I got hosed big time.
