Great first experience. Needed a quick appointment due to a sudden issue and was able to jump into a cancellation spot the next day.Had not been to a dentist in many years so I was worried about the initial visit. However, everything was very gentle and went smoothly. Everything was explained very clearly about the further steps I need to take.

Auburn Dental Spa is the best in town. My wife, mother-in-law and myself have been coming here for more than 3 years. The service is always excellent. The staff are very friendly and they are always ready to help.Recently, I went for a regular cleaning, Stacy did a wonderful job. She was very patient and she answered all my questions. And of course, Dr. Brad is exceptional as always. He is very professional and easy to talk to. So, if you are looking for the best experience, you show go and see them.

A dentist is still a dentist, BUT. Check out the Spa and complimentary before and after care of seeing the dentist. Do yoga. Visit the gift shop. I’ve been going to the wrong dentist my entire life. This place is fantastic. The staff is also friendly and the dentist himself is great. Make an appointment today. Quit putting it off.

Literally everything about this dentist is great. Easy location, clean & comfy reception & treatment rooms and friendly knowledgeable check in. I think my teeth are cleaner than they’ve ever been thanks to my very thorough hygienist. Good music relaxes me while they work. If you have dental phobia of procedures, they are happy to give you meds to relax before & during. If you need a treatment, they check insurance & give a written estimate of your costs at check out. AND you choose a spa treatment while you are in the chair! Paraffin wax hand treatment, 👏🏼!!! Oh, I must compliment Dr. Litkenhaus for his friendly & competent care. Ditto for the staff.

Been using ADS for years. Recently I was turned away at my appoint for having a cold sore and I told them I’d call back to reschedule once it was gone. I never did and come to find out I missed an appointment I didn’t make and now I owe $50 for a missed appointment. I haven’t missed an appointment in the 5 years I’ve been using this place and somehow a mix up happened and I’m out $50, it don’t even cost me that much when I get a cleaning. I feel totally ripped off and un appreciated as a patient.

Relaxing experience; efficient dental care. The dentist actually took time to talk to me, which is not always the case. I LOVE the idea of combining with spa services and cant wait to take advantage of whats offered.

I went in for my routine cleaning this week. I had a new hygienist who was absolutely WONDERFUL! She said that she had only been working there for a short period of time. She was gentle, gave me instructions to raise my hand if anything hurt, and did a wonderful job. I asked to reschedule with her the next time I go in.

I never thought I would enjoy going to the dentist. The office was clean and relaxing. Everyone I encountered was friendly and professional. The hygienist cleaning my teeth was so gentle - it wasnt painful at all. No long waits for the dentist to come in and do his check either. Overall, it was a great experience (or as great as it can be for a Dentist lol). I will definitely be recommending this practice to my friends and family.

Dr. Lit and his staff are great. I have been going to Auburn Dental Spa for a couple of years now, and it is really a pleasant experience. I usually go for my regular check-ups, but I have also gotten a teeth whitening treatment. Dr. Lit actually takes time to ask how things are going, and the first time I went it actually caught me off guard that he was genuinely interested in my answer to his question. I felt very comfortable, and I also felt like I got great service.

We went for our very first appointment ever after reading reviews and saw Wiggins. He hit the nerve in my husband’s mouth and 5 months later his tongue is still numb, lack of taste and has developed a lisp. After receiving a shot I had constant pain and a nickel sized lump on my gums for almost a week. I went in for a cleaning and they did dental work on one of my teeth that I had no pain with. 5 months later, a tooth that didn’t bother me, has been in constant pain since my visit and treatment. Be very cautious!!!!!

Note: This review was written a couple of months ago for Yelp!, but recently others have suggested I post it here.Let me start by saying that I would give ADS 10/5 stars based on Dr. Litkenhous and the dental hygienists. They are friendly, confident, and can put even the most nervous patient (me) at ease.Below is my (looooong) reason for the subtraction of two stars and why I would give ADS 0/5 stars if it had not been for the people working on my teeth.So, shame on me, I hadnt been to the dentist in 7ish years. I plucked up the courage to go because I got a full-time job and was able to get my own health insurance and dental plan, so I thought I might as well get my moneys worth. (Haaaaaa!) It is important to note that I did not come off my old insurance (new and old being BC/BS of Alabama) until a month after being on my new insurance. This was in September and I got my teeth cleaned in December.At the cleaning, I was told (shockingly enough) that I need a few crowns. I felt so comfortable there that I had no hesitation scheduling the procedure with them in January. I did not pay for my cleaning, insurance covered it. I was told insurance would not cover both crowns and given a sum that day to pay the day the holes would be drilled in my teeth and temporaries put in, in January.I arrive in January and pay. They charged me about $11 more than I was initially told, but whatever. No biggie. I get the holes drilled. I get my temporaries put in. I schedule an appointment to come back in 3 weeks for my permanent crowns.It is now one week before my final appointment for aforementioned permanent crowns. I get a call from ADS telling me -oopsie- I actually owe them A THOUSAND BUCKS. Because of a wait period for my insurance. Which neither I nor anyone I spoke to at work knew anything about.I called ADS back to see if I could do a payment plan because, um, this was kind of their fault. My mom has been a medical receptionist for more than 20 years and she even agrees that 95% of patients dont understand their insurance plans and it is up to the front desk staff to check these things BEFORE procedures are performed. Youre not going to have open-heart surgery and then be told afterwards you owe a crazy amount of money! Of course I realize I can share in this blame, but it is their job. Its part of the services you expect at any medical/dental/health practice where insurance is involved.Anyway, the lady I spoke to about a payment plan suggested I get a credit card. I wanted to suggest that she do her job, but I really am not the type to be rude or even complain during situations like this. BUT A THOUSAND DOLLARS. A different member of staff fed me some excuse that I know for a fact was a lie because, as previously stated, I simply asked my mom if it was true. I will say that even though the woman on the phone mumbles like shes got a mouth full of bee stings, both women I spoke to were friendly. One even seemed apologetic.I normally receive an email requesting to write a review for the website after each visit, buuuuut I didnt this time. I was kind and patient, and will continue to be, but I think its worth letting others know about this experience so they can be aware of what their insurance plan covers. (Which is probably a wise idea anyway.)The worst part? You cant even see the crowns because theyre in the back of my mouth.
