It was ok the Belgian waffle was as expected. The French toast was average the syrup they serve with the French toast was almost flavorless

I like this place. They were very accommodating to my plant-based way of eating. Camie was so nice and helpful with our needs that when we return (and we will return) I feel we will have the same respectful experience.

Ordered the full stack of blueberry pancakes, and requested one buckwheat pancake in the stack. The server did her best with the custom order, and the kitchen improvised by making the buckwheat pancake into a blueberry buckwheat pancake. The plain buckwheat would have been too dry and the blueberries actually helped, if youre ordering the plain buckwheat, the pancakes are on the dry side. Buttermilk pancakes were fine. Scrambled eggs were plain. We had a group that included 2 small children, and were seated in a corner booth with an added table. The restaurant stepped up and checked in on us with the manager stopping by to help the table server to make sure we were served well.

Good bacon and cheese omelet and hash browns and toast. Over medium eggs were watery or more accurately the whites were still partially clear, so I no longer order over medium eggs. Pancakes are too rubbery but they taste okay with lots of butter and syrup.

Small, quaint little mom and pop cafe, and very busy! I would recommend not going when youre starving or in a hurry. Its more of a place you would find an older couple sipping on their hot drip coffee reading the newspaper. My food didnt come as I ordered it, but the waitress was very busy and it might have been hard to understand me with my mask on. (Just a slight miscommunication regarding my poached eggs runniness of the yolks). I didnt bring it to their attention because it was so minor and my husband was happy to eat them for me, but I think the waitress would have been happy to change it for me if I asked her to. All over its a very nostalgic feeling unpretentious diner with good ole comfort food.

Went there for the first time an I will not be going back. I understand they are understaffed as many places are, however under cooked food and receiving something close but not what was listed on the menu is Not what I would expect from any restaurant. First my partner and I ordered chicken gizzard to share. I cut one open and it was raw enough 1 see blood starting to come out of where I had cut. I ordered the honey glazed chicken breast burger but when it got to the table it was not. I could see the oil was dirty as the fries were very dark, oily and soggy. The bun with my chicken was greasy and chewy. My chicken was at least cooked but there was not a drop of seasoning not to mention honey glazed. My partner ordered the blue cheese burger, with extra blue cheese. He was told it was crumbles but he got a sauce with blue cheese chunks. Again not what was on the menu. While we were working our way through our food we overheard someone else mention that their pancakes were not cooked! Either way, we have tried the place and wont be back. Sad really, Im usually all about ma and pop kinda places. 😕

A lovely little diner. While exploring a little bit I decided to check the place out, it was very welcoming, the staff (busser & waitresses) were friendly & super casual, it was such a breath of fresh air. And the food was good.Would recommend.

Always great breakfast. Portion size arent huge but not small either. Im a bigger guy and get plenty full. Have tried a few different breakfast dishes and never been disappointed. Worth a try.

I have walked by this place a millions times abd last week was the first time I had the chance to actually stop in and eat there. I had the yakamush breakfast and it was delicious! Friendly, laidback atmosphere.

Wow!!! Their waitress in the bar was short tempered and down right mean even when she kept forgetting stuff or if you were just trying to get her attention. Someone said she was the manager!?! Good God! I HOPE NOT! If so, ilI cant imagine it staying open much longer. The food was pretty good, but didnt make up for the managers nasty attitude. The owner came out to talk to people..... I hope he doesnt go in the kitchen! He looks like he hasnt bathed or washed his hair in a week or so. Down right nasty! Never again!

Homey feel with excellent service, while understaffed and dealing with a rush, our food still came quickly and we were treated with personal care.

Excellent place to eat. Found this nice little restaurant while I was in town. Had breakfast here several times. The food was excellent, the service was stellar. All of the wait staff service each other’s tables constantly so no one is left waiting. I was very impressed.

Bartender hooked me up with a coffee no charge and gave me the wifi password for me to get my work done. Great service! Will be back for brunch

A small niche of a place, but amazingly good food. Walking in it was all an older crowd, but its a well kept secret because WOW. Between their french toast and the potato pancakes you can order just about anything off the menu and leave happy.

Have not been there for about 5 years. We had bad service and food then. Went in today did not even stop for food after being greeted by a rude service person. We just left.

Waitresses walked by our table 6 times without a hello or offer of a menu. Once our order was taken it took 30 minutes till it was ready. Home fries were deep fried...bacon greasy and the prices waaayyyy to high. Have no idea why do popular except only place around. Dont waste you money or time.

I can say I one very picky restaurant eater and specially when it comes to the most important meal of the day BREAKFAST :DThis place will became as today one of my favorite places to go when I travel here in Auburn.Since the first great welcoming coffee smell that you sniff when you open the front door to get inside and the lovely and professional smile from servers there.It did not took more than a minute for us to get seated and start enjoying and waking our senses up whit a delicious warm cup of the house coffee in there ( Heaven, just heaven)The food in my opinion was super good but I wish they chop the home potatoes a little smaller since little ones or little mouths may get a burn from trying to bite a huge chunk of hot potato hehe ( just an idea to think about )Very warm atmosphere, great service, beautiful location and reasonable price .

My self and my family 2 sons daughter-in-law, granddaughter had breakfast 3/23/21. The server was very unfriendly, brought food no silverware, hash browns were soggy and oily. Son asked 3 times Tabasco sauce . Had to ask for coffee refill. $80 later. Would of had better at dennys

The food is great. Large portions. Clean tables, cups, utensils. Coffee is good. You can get a whole portion or half. I learned 1/2 portion is best for me. Their Ruben sandwich is the BOMB. Soo good🙂😋😎.

Yummy fresh food! Large portions.. I had the half veggie omelet (sautéed mushrooms,bell peppers, onions, colby jack cheese and spinach) all fresh. My hubby had the country fried steak and eggs he said the gravy was better than he has had in a while!

Went for brunch, the country fried steak and eggs was amazing!! Best I have had in a long time! Pie was amazing too! Ordered a piece for the table to share, then a whole to pick up the next day, just know if you go for ordering a pie, do it a day or 2 in advance so they can get it ordered as they dont stock many to keep them always fresh.

VERY rude waitress...food was just ok...asked for another server and that made a huge difference...some people are to unhappy and angry to deal with the public...we wont returnInteresting that their website email address comes back as undeliverable!!!

Wow. This very un-flashy restaurant served up the most tasty breakfast Ive had in years! We were aiming for the Sunbreak Cafe for breakfast. But found they were not serving breakfast! So we went to the Rainbow Cafe. VERY glad we did. Large menu, not real fancy but everything just tasted GOOD! We will remember this place for sure!

My go-to breakfast restaurant in Auburn.

The only reason I didnt give them a 5 was because I ordered the nachos, and I was only given a small to-go cup of sour cream and a small to-go cup of salsa..the server was very patient and sweet! And though we were still figuring out the bill at closing, she was very kind!

I come here for karaoke every week on Friday and Saturday. One of the only places that start at 8 instead of 9 on fridays. Turtle and DJ are amazing bartenders, and the host, Kev, is the best karaoke host Ive ever had. They all really take care of their customers.
