Based off of your responses to other negative reviews, its obvious that you cut & paste a cookie cutter response. I still have not heard from Sunsouth about resolving the issue that they created.Serious time & response issues.I had to take a brand new mower to Sunsouth of Auburn to have an engine replaced after only 10 hours. It took much longer than I was told to replace the engine. Now that the new engine is replaced, they forgot to reinstall the quick change oil system that was in place. Now they want me to bring it back to install the equipment. The main problem is, no one will return my call when I leave a message. I live an hour away and shouldnt have to deliver my mower back to them to correct their mistake. Moving on.

Sun south of auburn alabama service department has huge issues with time and response to their customers. They have had my tractor almost an entire month well august 19,2021 will be an entire month. They don’t do what they say they will do. They don’t call their customers back and they don’t work in a timely fashion. I understand things do come up but however lying to the customer is not a way to go about fixing the issues. I have been waiting on a call back from Chris in the service department for a week now. I was told they would have my tractor in around the three week mark and they told me when I called that the tractor was being looked at and the tech couldn’t find what the problem is and they would call me within a day or two. I didn’t hear back from no one at sun south and then called back to find out that supposedly they haven’t even looked at it. So I really don’t know what is going on and this tractor is only six months old. It is extremely upsetting and frustrating when your brand new tractor is messing up and then you have to wait on the service department and then they won’t call you back for you to them call back and found out they lied to you the whole time. Extremely angry and upset with sun south service department right now.
I received absolutely excellent customer service today. The sales representative went above and beyond to find what I needed. That was greatly appreciated.
Shop around folks... Parts can often be found online for much cheaper prices on Amazon & Ebay once part number is known. Shop smart! However, if part replacement is urgent Sunsouth LLC is a convenient option.

If you want to buy a tractor this is pretty much the place to go. Their salesman are friendly and knowledgeable (as most are). We have all our equipment serviced by them over the winter each year and it’s generally a good experience but not super thrilling. To be fair service of cars or equipment of the like isn’t a super customer oriented experience overall, and we’ve had good and bad experiences with their service.
Purchased a lawn mower from Home Depot who contracted them out to deliver it. The white glove delivery consisted of them delivering 1 day after the promised by date, leaving it on my front lawn and not even bothering to knock on the door.

I went in today looking for a riding mower. When I entered the store not a soul asked if I needed any assistance nor did anyonegreet me. I had to walk up to the lady in the store to ask how I could go out tosee the mowers. When I went outside to look at the mowers I got locked out of the door at this point I was frustrated and just left. There customer service is not good at all. DO BETTER !!!

I would not recommend them for anything and I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. If you do decide to go by, it’s best to avoid Shane... he has better things to do than provide any kind of decent customer service.

Had a great experience at SunSouth in Auburn. While researching different tractors, I met with salesperson Shane Pope. Shane was laid back and very informative. He gave me the pros to purchasing a John Deere but never talked negatively about other companies. I continued to shop around but ultimately came back to Shane and purchased a John Deere. Their customer service was very refreshing and I look forward to doing business with them in the future.
While shopping for a sub-compact tractor one rainy day, we happened to meet Shane Pope at the SunSouth dealership in Auburn AL. He took his time to demonstrate all the features and characteristics of the tractor we were looking at for our 5 acres. We ended up purchasing the tractor the next day after visiting nearby competitor dealerships. The tractor was delivered the same day. We were extremely satisfied with the purchase and the dealership.

Just wanted to thank Sunsouth and especially Marc Holmes for all the hard work that they have put in to help me and my business suceed! Before coming to sunsouth I did plenty of research from other companys on there products and pricing. Then I went here to Sunsouth in Auburn and met Marc Holmes. He not only ended up having the best prices but hands down the best equipment and value and the knowledge and research to back it up! Marc Holmes put together what I needed that best suited my individual needs. He was not just trying to make a sell unlike most places that I went to. Well ends up that after my first package of equipment I needed another package of equipment and so yep, I went back to Sunsouth and talked to Marc Holmes after more research and he helped me again on getting just what I needed for my company. I will Never choose anything besides John Deere and Stihl. Trust me when I say its the best that you can get get and I got it cheaper than the competition and its a better product all across the board! Thanks to Marc Holmes I have been able to build a solid relationship with Sunsouth. Its because of him and the great customer service and the knowledge that he knows is why I will choose nothing but Sunsouth in Auburn. I was referred to Sunsouth by a friend and met Shane Pope. He helped me learn the features of the 1025R and explained implements to me so I could buy what I needed for our 5 acres. He didnt sell me anything, the 1025R sold itself and Shane gave me a great deal. I even tried shopping the orange dealership and they didnt have time for me, handed me a brochure and told me to email them for price which I did. I received a one line answer and quote was significantly higher than John Deere! Shane delivered my tractor and went over how to use it. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Rachel in service as well as Red and Justin. They quickly helped my grappler attachment with a warranty fix. I couldnt be more pleased with the great team at Sunsouth Auburn!

Large selection of equipment to choose from, and if they dont have it, odds are they can easily get it for you. Just ask! Payment plans are great, and had a bunch of good deals going on when I went shopping. Not to mention an awesome warranty plan.Marc was wonderful. Needed a tractor and needed info, and he was very polite and knowledgeable. Not pushy with sales and willing to look up any info I asked for. Will let you test drive equipment on the grounds if you want. Delivery of everything was prompt and he taught me everything about my new equipment right on my property, even helped me out with my old equipment while he was there. And more than willing to take any future calls for help! Will definitely be keeping my business there.

Horrible customer service. Stood in front of the stihl weedeaters for 10 minutes with no one asking if I need help. Only 1 other customer in the whole store. Seen 5 different employees walking around. Guess they dont want to sell anything during this economic slowdown due to the virius.
As a purchaser of a 5205 tractor, I’ve become very frustrated with their sales department! Poor customer service and follow up from their sales group!!! Have tried repeatedly to purchase an auger and drill and have not received call backs.Their service department has always been very strong and I will continue to use them for service needs.

Id have to say the process by which I purchased equipment was excellent. Several emails back and forth, quoting alternates and additional equipment. Mr. Pope was jam-up through whole process and treats customers right. My package was delivered same day, by him!Well done and going back.
Bought our first and last compressor from here. Customer service is absolutely horrible and have had to wait over a month for news on our compressor that had an issue and walked in to see it still sitting in the same spot, untouched. I could have gone to Harbor Freight and spent a LOT less for this same quality.. really disappointed and a HUGE waste of time.
Great sales experience at the Auburn store! Shane Pope spent over 45 minutes with me discussing various models. He was knowledgeable and never pressured me in any way. As a matter of fact, he steered me away from some more expensive models he felt were more equipment than I needed and in the end I am extraordinarily happy with my purchase. I have not been as happy at other Sun South dealers, but the Auburn store is now my home for all things John Deere.
My wife and I were in the market for a compact tractor considering we have owned a JD 4010 since 2004 we needed a compact with the loader and backhoe and added a drive on mower deck. After getting quotes from eight dealerships in four states Shane Pope at SunSouth in Auburn Alabama offered us the best deal! we told him what we could afford and wanted and he made it happen, GREAT salesman to work with very friendly and well JD products you cant find no other compares to performance and quality. keep up the great work Shane and SunSouth!!

Went to first open house this year and Shane Pope was very knowledgeable about the equipment. He called today to see if I was still interested in Tractor I looked at in March. Love my Stihl Equipment and will be buying a Tractor soon.
The service department is lousy. Do not buy a tractor there unless you dont mind having it towed to Auburn every time you need a repair. Im a JD man, but Ill go orange before I buy another tractor in Auburn.
I do not know who owns that place but he needs to clean house! He does does not have a single employee that is worth keeping! Today, August 30th, at approximately 1: 30 p. M. I walked around the lot for some for time. No one bothered to come out and see what my questions might be for purchasing a tractor. So I decided to go in. the gentleman at the sales desk did not bother to take his feet off of the table or desk in front of him and did not, and would not look up. the employee towards the back of the store ignored my presents. Then the young girl at another desk closer to the door was doing something to her computer and avoided eye contact. Finally I caught her glancing up and she quickly went back to fooling with her computer. what this experience tells me is that if I were to buy a tractor from these individuals what type of service would I get? I think this experience speaks volumes. I guess I will be buying a orange tractor. If I knew who the owner was I would call him and tell him myself. I would want someone to tell me.
Hunter Bell did an outstanding job in assisting me in selecting the vehicle I needed for my farm. He and all the employees of Sun South Auburn have always been super in assisting me solve my equipment and service problems. I always recommend Hunter Bell as my go to guy when asked about farm equipment problems. My experiences have always been pleasant and they always solve my needs.

Been here once! they had what I needed for my Rhino bush Hogg in stock and a decent price, Ill be back. They have one parts guy I have absolutely no use for from some other dealer, I just dont use him. Everyone else seems fine.

This is the most pathetic John Deere service department of any John Deere dealership. I brought my 2018 John Deere 590M S4 Gator here because it was making a bad rattling noise in the rear end but they could not find the problem and said it was normal. But before I found out this it took them about 3 weeks to ever call me about what they have found. If this noise was normal then John Deere does not need to be making Gators and selling them for $15,000.00. When they decide to fix my problem then I will rate them at five stars. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Website isnt very useful, at least not from mobile. Couldnt find what I was looking for on the website so I called the store. I told the woman that answered the phone what I was looking for. She put me on hold. I was on hold for 15 minutes. I normally wouldnt stay on hold that long but I needed the equipment and was ready to buy that day, I just needed to know if they had it in stock. I got tired of being on hold so I hung up. I then drove across town to go to SunSouth in person. Walked in the store, no one seemed to notice I was there. I walked around and did not see what I was looking for. Finally someone at the parts counter noticed me and asked what I needed. I told him, he said he didnt know for sure if they had that and I needed to talk to someone in sales. He paged someone for me. I waited for about 10-12 minutes and no one came to help. I got fed up with the place and walked out. I went a couple miles up the road to CTE Small Engines. They had what I was looking for and I bought it there. I was at CTE for 10 minutes and got what I needed with no trouble. I should have went there to start with.I would have gave SunSouth a lower rating but one star is as low as you can go.

Small engine shop failed to fix my mower. I was told it had “internal problems” and was not economically feasible to repair. I took it to another shop where the problem was immediately diagnosed as a bad ignition coil. Mower now runs great. BTW, I have bought Stihl saws, a Gator and a JD 3032 from the dealership. Great sales, crappy small engine service.

My experience started with a series of several phone about 6 to be exact. The calls were answered promptly and with professionalism. They never seemed angry or aggravated that i had called so much each time the staff answered any questions i had and fast i was never on the pgone for more than 5-10 mins and never had wait times. The salesman that i had the pleasure of doing business with is Mark. He answered all my questions offered me better equipment than i had picked out for around the same price. I literally probably spent about 45 mins in the store which also included my browsing. This was for a fathers day gift and i have to tell you the people at Sunsouth were definitely a part of making my dad one of the happiest fathers on earth that day. Thanks Mark you helped me get so much more for my dad than he wanted.
