I went in today looking for a very specific olive brand and Dylan the supervisor was very friendly and helpful.
I decided to go to Kroger since the card sells are great. But the store has been out of cards for over a week now. Which was fine the first time. As cashier had a card to scan. But i spent $11 more than I was expecting because this time it was basically you dont have a card, were out. Your out of luck. $11 can make a difference on a budget. I really should have just left and went to walmart. The store is good, and seems friendly other wise. But doesnt care about the new customer much.
I like most everything about your store, but today when I was going through the self checkout line I had to ring up my groceries twice because the cash register was not working properly. The person helping me said the malfunction is a common occurence with some of the check out machines. PLEASE get this corrected. It is frustrating having to unbag groceries and ring them up more than once. Also when it was time to pay the machine would not accept my payment due to a malfunction and I had to get assistance AGAIN.
Poor service and unwelcoming; I stay minutes away so I often visit this store and same experience almost everytime. Its this one guy who works in self checkout who comes off abrasive he hovers around you closely within seconds of being at the register quickly asking would you like for me to ring waters up in a rude way before I even a chance to enter my alternate ID and managers will stare in face without a hello are you finding things okay. If I didnt literally stay two minutes away they would not see one red penny from.me!
I love this store. The selection is great and everyone is always friendly. I travel from Columbus, Ga every month to go grocery shopping here. The prices are excellent and the store is always. Not to mention they always have something new product wise. I have shopped at Lagrange, Opelika, and Valley Krogers. This location became my regular.
Store was clean and neat. Good sale. Customer service was very much the opposite. We were in the self checkout, needed help with our “customer discount” and hit the customer service help light. There was an employee standing behind her desk that made zero effort to help us even after we told her we were having a problem! What good is a help light if nobody will come?? Disappointed may never come back.
Came in for my weekly sushi, after getting back to work, the sushi taste great but the rolls are falling apart from not being rolled tight enough. Maybe its time to get the sushi chef some additional training.
The store rarely keep anything in stock and the associates at the deli is horrible! They have attitudes before you even walk up. Also they’ll stand there and not say anything for about 5 minutes before taking your order. At this point id rather pay a little more and shop at Publix.
Taylor in the seafood department has a terrible attitude. As of we were bothering her by asking if she has crawfish. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Will not return. The older lady behind us was also snapped at when she asked for salmon.
Horrible management at its finest. Never stocked or organized at all. You can say its clean(at least the floors) because you are chased around by a man on a waxer every time you come here. There is absolutely 0 customer service. I have even been snapped at by an employee for taking too long to find what I was looking for and being in there way(not even 60 seconds). Try to ask for a manager and youll wait there for 30 minutes but leave and call and ask for a manager and one picks up immediately.
The employees terrible service tells me to run away from the store.
I love plants.
Lovely staff and i like the plant selection
Nice selection, but very cold.
Stop making your employees wear masks
I really hope the people who need to see this do. I had a painfully human moment at checkout after a long day, and an employee named Kendall helped me work everything out. She was so sweet and professional and I truly did not deserve her kindness. Kroger—this girl needs a RAISE as she just scored y’all a customer for life!!! Thank you again Kendall!!
Love Kroger and the prices are good. They never have enough cashiers, you would think with so many people out of work they would hire someone.
Since covid 19 Kroger has been a pain in the you know what. You can’t shop until a certain time. The times on the door doesn’t match the web site. The employees are VERY rude! (Seniors) The store is very convenient for me because it’s closer to my house but I’m considering not shopping here anymore. I’ll proudly take my money to Walmart
Love Kroger and this one has just been remodeled. Gotta to love the Fuel Points...they add up big time! I also love this Kroger for its easy meals I can grab on the go stations. A huge help when I am in a pinch to get a fast but hot dinner done for the family. Also love the self checkouts on both ends of the regular register lines. Easy in and out for me, a huge plus when it is a busy time of day and you need to get out quick.
Great selection of vegan, gluten-free and soy-free food items such as Beyond Meat and Daiya brands. The store is well-organized and stays fairly well stocked. Side note: Avoid Bernie in the self-checkout area- he has a dry and abrasive demeanor.
I live in Montgomery and theres not a Kroger there. So when I get a chance to come to Auburn I look for a reason to go there. Ive been on about 3 or 4 occasions and always fun into the same nice, friendly and helpful guy at the self checkout.great customer service and products.
Did limited shopping, with limited success. The deli had been given a particular type of ham that had been hard to get. The pharmacy was great. The rest of the trip was the same. Cant sell what you cant get to sellAND it is not the store staffs shortcoming.
This market has EVERYTHING! Purchased a red velvet cake from the bakery for a last-minute party. I received fast, friendly service and the cake was fresh & tasted delicious. Definitely my new first choice for grocery shopping!
Most of the times every thing is fresh and customer is off the chains my favorite places to shop
I’ve never been the type to the pull the race or discrimination card. But my husband happens to be white, I’m African American and we were disappointed with our experience at the Auburn, AL location. We got into the express lane where the sign said, “About 15 items.” I don’t know anyone that counts every single item before the get into a line like that. So Angel, the cashier rings us up, as we purchased beer as well. She says, “Just so you know, for the next time this line is for 15 items.” So I then said, “I’m sorry the sign said about 15 items, how many did we have?” Her response, “I don’t know but I’m telling you for the next time.” As for the beer purchase, she asked for my ID, which I had left in the car, so I asked my husband to show his. She said, “It has to be the person paying.” I said, “No problem, he can pay.” She prints the receipt and I see we had an item count of 23. But my issue is when I asked how many items we had and she said she didn’t know... then she did not have a leg to stand on to be talking to me about item count. On top of that, the lady behind us made a beer purchase and instead of asking for her ID, she asked for her date of birth. Absolutely ridiculous. We will stick with Publix going forward. Practice policy with every customer, don’t pick and choose. Also the tone of your voice, attitude, and body language are a huge factor.
With Thanksgiving only two days away, over 17 people had to go thru the SELF CHECKOUT and all 6 other registers that Kroger employees could help take as cashiers, but because theyve always closed the regular registers at night time, we all get to go thru the self checkout with hundreds of $ being spent. I guess it will still be a late night for both Managers and cashiers and us Customers. What fun all in the sake of thinking we helping the rush. NOT at all when you get to the Register to pay.
Good store but always packed with people. Most times I go elsewhere after looking at the full parking lot. Great for Kroger though.
A nice compact store, very clean and organized. It may not have everything like the bigger store at Tigertown but you can get in and out with what you need. Everyone is very friendly and I enjoy my shopping there.
This store has improved a lot since the renovation. The best part is the freshly oven baked posts. Only down side is the cashers. I understand most of them are high school kids, but they could be a little more professional.
I’d never been to a Kroger before, but wanted to try it out. The first thing I noticed was the store was super messy and felt more like a Walmart. The “low price” sale tags were very confusing, and multiple times the price tags didn’t match the item. I ended up spending more than I thought I would because of this. We used the self checkout despite hating those type of checkouts because there were about 3 cashiers open. The self checkout system was so confusing. Apparently we put the items in the buggy too early and an error came up. An employee came over and was super rude and told us we can’t move bags until the receipt prints. (Which is ridiculous in my opinion.) None of the employees were smiling or welcoming, and didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. I’ll stick to Publix from now on.
Your friendly neighborhood Kroger! This place is awesome, open 24 hours, pretty good prices, and a decent beer selection. The Chimey is at a really good price. The only down side is the produce section and the sliced break, its hard to find fresh onions or the generic sliced bread that isnt about to expire. That is the only down side I have observed in the last 4 years.
My favorite grocery store in this area. They have a wonderful bulk section and lots of products for those with dietary restrictions. Great sale prices with their store card and the option to load online coupons to your card. Additionally, they often give coupons at check-out (I used one today for $2 off my total sale) as well as send physical coupons to your residence if you provide your address when signing up for the store card. This location has been recently renovated and now has a sushi/poké station, an expanded deli, pharmacy, and a Starbucks! Not to mention their vast selection of wines and beers.
Ive always loved Kroger so it deeply saddens me that I will have to do my shopping elsewhere. After the unspeakably horrible incident that I just had, that the heartless employees of this Kroger knowingly created, I would rather starve than ever gice this corporation another cent. After my $360+ transaction is refunded I will never step foot ibside another Kroger. :(
Great place to get groceries. Staff are really friendly, but I’m usually in and out in under 10 minutes. It’s got everything you need grocery-wise.
Staff was pleasant and helpful. Store in very nice shape. Clean and neat
Well organized, well stocked, good prices - enjoy shopping there.
Amazing new designed place. Extremely organized, and a copious amount of items to choose from!
This is only Kroger I could find that carried a local beer I liked. Wide range of beer and wine. Never really busy.
Recently did a large renovation. Likely doubled in size from what it was before. Many more things available now to purchase. Added new sections, including a deli, kitchen wares, and a large organics section. Much more bright and modern from what it was before. Very comparable to Publix now.
I wish I could give zero stars. I went in to the Auburn, Alabama store to order a birthday cake for my daughter and was treated as though I was a MAJOR inconvenience by the two employees in the bakery. They sighed, huffed, and very begrudgingly drug themselves away from their cell phones to respond to my request for a cake order. After I pointed out the character cake I wanted to order (which was clearly displayed in the order book), the employee that responded to me looked at me as if I had suddenly sprouted another head and told me that she had never heard of this kit before and that they did not carry this and would not order the kit to make it. Needless to say, I did not order a cake, nor will I ever. Rude and unacceptable.
One of the best grocery stores in the area. They always have a great selection of everything as well as excellent mark downs.
The best grocery store in this area. I shop daily. Enjoy finding new products.
Nicest Kroger Ive been to. Clean and well designed inside, has a great selection of food. Their deli is also fantastic.
This is the best grocery store Ive ever been too. Incredibly fast checkouts and plenty of self checkout lanes. The staff are all friendly too.
Amazing customer service and I was very pleased at their enormous stock of groceries: a gourmets delight!
Very nice people 1st time at this one
Love the store, but the baggers either dont care, or have no training on how to bag. Ill bring 5 grocery bags, but the baggers insist on cramming everything into one. Whats worse, no clue that canned goods should not be tossed on top off eggs or produce or bread. A raw chicken should not be dripping on apples. Reusable bags may be large, but they are not built to hold 30 or more pounds.
Kroger bad
Great food, great prices, great deals all over, and most of all; great people who are indispensably wonderful to help out anytime.
The employees were exceptional and helped me find what I needed without a problem.
Great place to shop. Has lots of organic produce and others. Good prices. Clean store.
The sales are always on things I need! Staff is friendly and helpful, produce is always tops, they always give me awesome coupons tailored to my purchasing habits, and their store brand items are surprisingly high quality. The 4 stars-rating is only because they are missing some items that the one in Opelika definitely have in stock. I of course dont find it convenient to have to go all the way there for a couple items (yeah, its not that big of a distance lol but still).
I still haven’t figured out why every time I go to this store I have to enter through the exit and go to the self checkout at the other end of the store to get a shopping basket, and then walk back to the entrance.
Pretty much always have to use self check out but its a nice place
Newly expanded/renovated, I thought Id hate it (been the way it was since I was in school here in the late 80s/early 90s), but love it now that its done. Bigger, better selection, and they even fixed the parking lot up.
Awesome people, great variety! Clicklist is really helpful if you dont have time to shop.
My favorite grocery store, whatever you need they have it. They also have all the stuff you dont need either, like potato chips. Yeah, you get what Im saying; you eat too many potato chips.
Recently renovated big super market with all the day to day needed things. Open 24 Hours. They also have Starbucks inside.
Love the updated Kroger- especially the cheese section! Bill was extremely helpful and picked out the perfect cheese/salami for me.
Its hard to fault this Kroger for much, but Im such a frequent customer that a few things stand out. Since renovation, parking has tended to be iffy during normal business hours, the new self checkout software is garbage (even the employees hate it), and the night staff is not empowered to follow standard company policies. However, theres plenty good as well. Selection is always good (though on certain items at certain times youll have trouble due to popularity), prices are competitive, and Krogers own brands are always equal in quality (or superior) to national brands. The pharmacists are professional and will work with you on price as much as corporate allows. Meat pricing is good (pork, chicken and sausage always; ground beef usually) except steak which tends to be expensive vs. W-D and Publix.Bottom line: predictable, solid, clean, reasonably priced, and 24 hours (SO IMPORTANT). More places need a Kroger. 👍
Was better before they remodeled staff is great prices best in the area. Prices are great if you can find things in stock.
Very very good all the employees very nice and friendly and helpful thanks
Great place but tonight they only had two self checkout lines open with 10 people waiting. Finally they opened a couple of more but that is ridiculous.
I love Kroger usually anything I need I can find easily.
Everytime my wife and I have been in here it has been extremely unpleasant. For starters it always smells bad in there. Which I would say is maybe the foods they carry but the one in tiger town does not smell like that. They also do not remove old sales stickers and expect you to know that the sales sticker you read is incorrect. Everytime Ive been in there we have had to argue sales price and the cashier admits they do not remove sales stickers. If you know its a problem fix it! Customer service is TERRIBLE. Especially the older gentleman in self checkout he is rude, condescending, and makes my wife very angry. Thanks dude. Will be going to Tiger Town from now on.
I Transfered my prescriptions from winn dixie to this kroger pharmacy, boy what a difference not only in price but long brown haired pharmacist was an absolute doll, so friendly and nice. Thank you for making my experience so wonderful!, when you know you may not have alot of time on this earth it really is nice to still there are nice people out there!!
This location is better stocked than the Tiger Town location perhaps because its 24hrs.
Kroger is a good community market great place to shop try it sometimes
Let me start by saying I love Krogers however my experience this past weekend was horrible. It started when my digital coupons didnt come off ( which is fine things happen) so I went to customer service to get it resolved. The cashier on duty noticed that I was standing in line but she proceeded to talk to another cashier ( who was there shopping) . Cashier did not want to give me back my coupons after I returned my products ( she didnt give me credit for the qs but she wanted to keep them 🤔🤔) my worst Kroger experience ever not sure if I should go back or put this experience behind me and continue to shop there.
Clean and open. Friendly staff. Good variety of choices when purchasing produce and other foods. For a chain, the prices are what one may expect.
I love this Kroger. They have a cheese bar, starbucks, a pizza place, deli, bakery, and an awesome selection of beers and wines.
Its a beautiful store....very clean.....but the prices Are extremely too high....Ill have to shop another store...
Its a typical grocery store. Good variety. OK customer service.
Great variety of products! Fresh produce and huge organic grocery section!
Always super busy so parking is limited, but the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Since its open 24 hours I try to do my shopping late at night to avoid the crowds. If youre here a lot, the Kroger card is worth signing up for, the discounts really add up.
I already did this they are good people who work hard
Great store good prices
Best grocery store in town. For sure.
This is my go to grocery store love the selection and prices always reasonable
Recently remodeled, clean, and fast checkout. The associates are friendly and always willing to help.
Great selection, good customer service, good prices, plenty of parking, open 24/7...what more could you ask for in a grocery store?
Recently updated and expanded, this location offers everything you would hope for in a grocery store, and more! Great location for weekly shopping as well as for tailgating trips.
Very clean, well organized, and a significantly larger amount of room than before the renovation. Most of the staff is helpful.
Great selection. Wonderful staff.
I truly love Krogers. We drive 2.5 hours one way to shop here about once every come months.
Looks great with the renovations!! It can be crazy with college students at times, but that’s to be expected!
Great store, clean, well stocked, great selection and friendly staff.
Best 24 hour option in Auburn and arguably the best beer selection in Auburn too
Great selection, reasonable prices, and a really good wine department at this location
My go to grocery store. Great that theyre remodeling, but I can hardly find anything now lol
Great selection and wonderful staff
Very nice. Huge selection. Dangerous!
I honestly am fine with this location with the exception of the mustached employee at self checkout. He stands over you watching as youre trying to scan stuff and every time I get uncomfortable and inevitably start stumbling with what Im doing and here he comes being super condenseding and sarcastic. Literally every time hes there this happens. When hes not there I have no complaints. But his condescending demeanor and sarcasm leaves me in a bad mood every time I leave this location.
So I went to Kroger late night July 1st around 1 AM with workout clothes on, no bag, no purse, damn I didnt even have pockets. I like to shop late because I take my time to read labels, so had a buggy full of items and I hear the intercom go off stating security to isle 5 . I look up and wallah Im the only person on isle 5. So this guy comes down the isle in a white shirt and blue pants and pretends to look at Mason jars, like really. Im the only African American in the store by the way, shopping at night. SOOOO that just has to mean Ill be stealing right? Ive never been so offended and racially profiled in my life. Kroger will not ever have to worry about me or any of my friends/family shopping in that establishment ever again. I will be posting this all over social media to inform my followers of this matter.
Rude employees, not on task, abandoned post, do not know what is going on, and lie about prices. False advertising. They did not even know coupons could be used? Sketchy blonde dude was trying to gossip instead of work....
