Decent storage area if you need temporary arrangements. Long term gouging ids usually where you get bit. Try to capitalize on promotions under a few months or if at all possible pay for shop or garage or much larger space from friends. Good business hours for business members. Clean, secure, friendly-ish.
All of the employees were great. They were attentive, helpful, and explained everything in great detail. I would suggest getting a second floor unit because anyone can walk in and try to access the first floor during the day, but you can only get to the second floor with the elevator, which only opens with a swipe of the security card. There are free carts to help you move your things just outside the elevator. The main store has lots of packing essentials. The location is close to major roads. One thing I didn’t like was that there is only one spot where you can park a large moving truck and then use the ramp. The other two spots you can park a truck, but there isn’t clearance to get the ramp out, so you have to carry things over the gap. It seems as if every day I wanted to move things, the spot with clearance for a ramp was taken.
I wish i had read the reviews before i tried to rent from here, and I would give zero stars if i could. Ordered ahead online for a storage unit and truck and did the earpy online checkin, which said my total was $76.99, the unit i was renting was $49.95. When we arrived they told us that because we were using a mastercard we would be charged a total of $160, but if we went and pulled out cash that it would be the correct price of $130, so we went and pulled out cash. Guess what, the lady told us it was still $160 so we decided not to remt from them. As we are pulling away we see on one of the trucks they even have a sale going on that if you rent a truck you get your first month free on a storage unit..that was never even offered. Tell me why my total would be $160...

James at U-Haul Auburn was great! I went in two weeks ago and he did everything he could to get my rusted ball hitch off my old car (used to tow a boat that rusted it over time) and he installed the new electrical to pull my new trailer. Even though he couldnt get the hitch off he told me of other places that could do the job. Really appreciate his assistance, great experience!
Terrible customer service. All I want to do is rent a truck to clean out my garage so I call the n auburn store and sit on hold 5 min 44 sec, hang up, call this one and sit on hold another 5 minutes. What are the odds in auburn every single uhaul phone is busy that long? BS terrible customer service. Jerks!!!
The worst customer service I got in years!!!General Manager Tyler J has no idea how to talk to customers. Very rude, unfriendly, unprofessional, and has no training to be interacting with customers. Regional managers and location owners should take a note a clean this location up. It has gazillion one-star reviews for a reason.Do your self a favor and use different rental companies to avoid all kinds of stress.
I rented the heavy trailer for car transport and the trailer was falling apart loose bolts that I had to go and ask them to tighten things up then the connector is missing and they told me to purchase one instead because they did not want to provide me with one, the customer service is horrible no one cares about a single thing, please be advised with them. Also really rude and alot of attitude!!
This place for storage was the best I found in the area hands down. They gave me 24 hr access to my stuff which was essential. Customer service was great. I read some of the other negative comments on google about this facility and my experience couldnt have been more opposite. Staff was great. Facility was great I had 2 storage units and rented a trailer from them. No hassle. Prices werent the best but I think if you pay more for better security features and options then it balances itself out.
Use to use this location for rentals quite alot. The past manager here was great but the new manager needs to put away the bubble. After averaging $500 per month in rentals I had my car towed while parking there and using a rental truck. I informed this new manager in the office at the time of rental the car right outside the window was mine and. Would be parked here while renting and was told Thanks, I know they can be Nazis about that kind of thing. Then the kid tows it the next day. He didnt update my customer file so I could at least be informed or inform me to update my profile in the app.Bottom line is that by the time I found out and removed my car from impound it cost $752. After contacting customer service several times so I could at least speak to someone about it I was told I would be reached by Andrew Salt the VP of Marketing and who is the general managers supervisor. If you are told that believe me you wont hear a word from them its just a stall tactic and I had more than $6000 in rentals in 11 months.Bottom line is they want your money now but question everything and do not expect them to do business in a way that will retain you as a customer if issues arise. You are expendable.
Seems like the loading dock for the storage area is blocked by these trucks quite often. And, there isnt a lot of customer parking to begin with. Most of the spots are marked for these trucks, but these trucks get parked here.
Very well run location. Was able to rent a truck on pretty short notice (called in earlier that day), and used it for several hours. They had some strange policies for paperwork, as I was going to be the one driving, but it was being paid for by another person. But once we had that straightened out, it was an easy grab the truck and go. Returning it was likewise very easy, they were open relatively late and so we were still able to hand it off to an actual person rather than leaving a key in an overnight box.
I had 2 containers shipped from Florida to Seattle. I had no control over transportation time or delivery. My containers arrived in Seattle on Friday April 2 & they were dropped off at my home on Friday April 4. The containers were emptied on the 5th & picked up on Sunday the 6th. I was subsequently charged rental fees for both containers on April 7th my “contract” is due for payment on the 1st. U-Haul of North Auburn knew my containers were in transit & were aware of my timeline. I have been charged for a container that was emptied on Saturday April 5 & they refuse to refund my money. This is a case of theft & fraud. If U-haul fails to rectify the issue I will be disputing the charge, pull all business from this location & report to the Better Business Bureau. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & BUSINESS ETHICS. Go to Pods or any other storage facility. They will gladly cheat you out of your money and back it up with a negligible contract.
Don’t use this facility. My company booked them so I didn’t have a choice. They never answer their phone. I came during a weekday at 530pm, no one in line and the 3 people working the counter didn’t even acknowledge me. A simple, give me a few min, would have been enough. I finally told them look I’m here to schedule my Ubox delivery. They said do it online. I told them I tried and they can’t find my box. So I’m here to investigate. Finally they found it under my company’s name. So I scheduled it for a pick up at 9am Saturday 20 July. I’ve been waiting for almost 2 hours and not a single sign that my box is coming. They said just wait. I told them I made a reservation for this reason. So they are helping walk-ins but not me. I will never deal with these folks again plus I will tell my company to do the same.
We are not from the area and needed a small pull trailer. We scheduled a reservation and when I needed to move the reservation to a later time, the day of pick up, the lady on the phone was very helpful and understanding. When we arrived they were very busy, but you would never have guessed from the professionalism and positive attitude of the Sergio. He was amazing. He was helpful and very proficient at his job.We had a great experience.I had called another location in the area, and she told me she was in a meeting and too busy to help me, and that I should call another location.I am so thankful we called U-Hal Moving and Storage of North Auburn.

Second place I was bounced to to get my trailor, they did not pick up when the last place I was at tried to call and confirm they had it. They did not help said trailor was reserved in Federal way, Federal did not have it. Hours and still no trailor.
I made my reservation a week ago for a 6x12 trailer, to pick up in Auburn.When my confirmation for pick up text came through (2 days before pick up), my reservation was set for Tacoma (20 miles out of my way). I had to call customer service to change the location.Then, when I went to pick up I was told the trailer available was only for in town use. The one way trailer wasnt going to be available until 1pm. I agreed to wait.Then, customer service calls and tells me the trailer isnt getting turned in, they had a trailer available about 15 miles away. Since Im being inconvenienced I asked if there is someone to transfer the trailer for me because Im still packing and the travel time doesnt fit into my schedule (thats why I reserved pick up in Auburn). I was offered a moving van, so not what I need/asked for.Ive had to move 3 times and this is the first time Ive had problems getting what I need from Uhaul.Im not happy with all the disorganization and lack of communication going on.
I would give zero stars if I could. Whatever you do do not rent a U-box from this company to ship your stuff. I have had the worst experience from day one. Did not drop off boxes on scheduled day, following that they did not pick up the U-box to ship until 6 days after the original scheduled day. Told me it would be delivered at my new address and it never showed up. Had so many scheduling conflicts, no one can answer your questions. I went to the actual location - still no answers. I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY STUFF and it has been three weeks. Avoid this company for any of your moves at all cost. Terrible, terrible customer service.
Big facility. Well stocked with rental & moving/storing supplies. Large storage facilty on site. Fully automated, key card entry, 24 hour access to storage & rental drop off. Super well-lit, so its not scary to access after hours, security drives or walks through pretty randomly but definitely visual.
They went above and beyond!! They are focus on being helpful, they just want to help to solve the problem!! I found every staff is standing in consumers shoes and support in a very professional way. Me and my husband got some issue but EVERYONE was helping us and we really appreciated! This place deserve more than 5 stars!!!
Ive never given one star. We had a reservation in Federal Way and when we got their there was a mix up. We then made one at N. Auburn. Our GPS said we would be 1 minute late. I called and the guy said if we were in the parking lot hed wait. We made it 30 seconds early. The jerk waved at us and turned off the lights. Thanks a lot!! Go anywhere but this one.

I wish no stars was an option. I recently had my OR drivers license stolen. I had the ID voided and obtained a new one and filed a police report. AFTER I had my old ID voided and canceled with DMV and it was no longer valid ID, someone used my stolen license fraudulently at THIS U-Haul location to rent equipment under my name with a credit card that did not match my stolen ID and I can hardly believe the ID would have looked like me. Regardless, the employee that was working did not fill out the contract fully according to the woman I spoke with on the phone and failed to properly check ID, resulting in someone being able to illegally rent equipment here. They did not return it (no surprise there, they are committing fraud) so I got the letter in the mail to deal with the stolen and abandoned equipment. I called U-Haul the same day I received the letter and spent nearly 40 minutes on the phone with a woman who wrote my case up but couldnt get it to submit, so it had to be resubmitted again. Then I was asked to email their lady who deals with identity fraud and given specific instructions for the email, of which I followed 100% that next day. I waited over a week and heard NOTHING. Not even an email confirmation that they had received the email. I emailed again over 24 hours ago and again, heard NOTHING. I called this afternoon again and was told, the lady who deals with identity fraud had already left the building for the day. They took a message and said they would try to have her get ahold of me tomorrow. First of all, I will NEVER do business with U-Haul again. I have put them on blast on social media and do not plan to stop, especially until my case is dropped and this is dealt with professionally. Second, the employee who was working at the time that this occurred should be fired. And if not fired, they deserve intense disciplinary action and I expect to know what that action is. The fact that someone can slip through fraudulently using a fake, VOIDED ID that does not match the card is 100% U-Hauls fault and I should not even have to be dealing with any of this. To top it off, no one is returning emails or phone calls for weeks+ at a time?! It is unbelievable and I am so glad that my communities all know not to work with U-Haul, especially this location (not that we even live near here) again. Please teach your employees to do their jobs properly or fire them.
Terrible service. We reserved a truck a week prior and showed up and found it was not available. They would not give us any other truck big enough on the lot as they were reserved later for other families. We had to scramble to find another truck to move out of our storage. Very disappointed that it wasnt important to them that they left us with no options (other than the smallest truck. Thankfully we found a deal at Budget and ended up being much cheaper.
Horrible installation of towing harness. Damn f%$s did a horrible job when doing the installation of a wiring harness for towing. I ended up having to buy a new fuse box from Honda for $920.00!!!!!I actually had to have them fix it once because the wiring was touching the muffler. Who in their right mind would do something like this????!!!Well, these people!!! I would give them -1,000 stars if I could. Avoid them at all costs.
Manager lady didnt care this afternoon (Friday) that she could not honor my reservation for a trailer pick up Saturday morning. She said she notified reservations and they would reach out to me by 6pm. I called reservations as sson as I got home 35 minutes later and they had no knowledge that the North Auburn location could not fullfil my reservation for a 6x12 trailer for tomarrow morning.Reservations found me another trailer in NorthEast Renton (highlands) for 11am, not the 8am as I requested for picking it up in North Auburn.Reservations was nice, the staff at this North Auburn location was not helpful, did not care and brushed me off when I stated she could have reached out to me to let me know they could not help me with my reservation. RUDE PEOPLE . NO STAR review is what they should have recieved.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I NEVER make reviews my personal experience shouldn’t deter someone from using or trying a company but this was necessary. Completely unprofessional. Incompetent. Just all around awful experience.First off the man at the counter decided hitting on me and wanting my social media even though I informed him I’m married with a child and CLEARLY pregnant was the best thing to do at the moment instead of his job even after being given that information and told no he made uncomfortable remarks. Unprofessional and I was very very uncomfortable. Ended up leaving unhelped because the manager wasn’t even in the store and wouldn’t answer calls.Have called for about 3 days now and have been sent in circles by the customer service and Ubox associates for HOURS all 3 days. I have never had an issue with Uhaul and have used them multiple times and just because of my experience with this location I won’t ever use the company again.
I am absolutely irate at this experience and the customer service at U-Haul. I would NEVER recommend this company or option to my worse enemy. I shipped my belongings with the U-Box option and thus far my box is in limbo. I have emailed and called all managers on-site and no one is willing to even admit or communicate with me what is going on. Every time I call to check on the status of where the box is, no one has been able to give me a response. Two days ago, the customer service rep said that they didnt even know if it left the location... Then I was transferred to another rep who told me in was in Arizona? WHY! I was shipping my belongings from Seattle to Boston. Every time I call, they tell me they will call me when they find something out... Its in review. Well review this you U-Haul, because your games will catch up with you and the third party you have hired is not working. So please explain to me what Ive paid for? Your company is a scam!

The positive: Store is clean.The negative: Center manager, and as a result of that, most of his staff, confused the purpose of the business. Their number 1 priority, above all else, make sure the center and staff are not inconvenienced. Customers take a distant second. Regardless of your needs; regardless of your urgency; regardless of information given by the website, call center, or corporate, this center focuses on their needs first.With the size of this center and the number of employees, this can be the top ranked center, instead a mediocre also-ran.

Alarms are always going off, people doing drug deals out of their units, never answer their phones, all the employees I have encountered are beyond rude and act like they have better things to do than help customers, elevator to upper units is always broke. Best advice is find somewhere else to store your belonging . I wish I could give this place negative stars .
Truck was running on empty when I got it and made sure to tell the employees. They agreed that the truck was empty yet the next day they wrote it off as 1/4 full. When I confronted the employees that saw the empty tank on the previous day, they pretended they didn’t see it. Horrible experience, don’t waste your time

Two stars seems pretty generous. I had a uhaul container shipped to this location...so Ive had to come here multiple times and have never had a good experience. In addition to never being able to actually reach anyone that works there by phone, they are generally unhelpful. Tried scheduling in advance twice, wasnt pulled out either time. One of the days I waited to get the box pulled out, spoke to whoever was on duty about coming back, only to come back and find that I couldnt access the box because whoever was responsible went on a 2 hour lunch break. Also no manager present...he mustve also been out on lunch. Pretty poor service/logistics/staffing all together.
Had my propane tanks filled over memorial day weekend. The younger kid told me my tanks will be expired last time he can fill them and I will have to get them recertified. I pulled my tanks brought them down to recertify them and found out cylinders are good for 12years. Looked it up to verify. Mine are manufactured 5-2007 all cylinders are good for 12years. You guys need to educate retrain your propane guy if he is filling propane.
I ordered boxes and did not receive all when picked up. Customer service has been extremely difficult to help with a solution.UPDATE- James the manager called me this afternoon and we were able to fix the problem! Thank you very much, I appreciate once you heard the problem you called me.
Terrible. Showed up a few minutes early to get the trailer checked out. Employee rudely told us she couldnt check us out until the vehicle towing the trailer showed up. I used to be a U-Haul dealer and know for a fact that isnt true, and we used to do that all the time. She offered no apologies. A few minutes later, the vehicle towing the trailer go there so we went back in. Another employee helped us, said that he didnt need anything from the other vehicle so we could have checked out earlier. Then got the contract, wanted to charge us twice the amount. When we asked about it, they said we were 7 minutes early so we were being charged 2 days (24hrs plus 7 minutes). We said we would have it back 7 minutes earlier, so then had to redo it and again no apologizes.
Worse U Haul location ever. The manager do not have any respect toward customer. I wait 3 hours to get a details invoice of an over charge that was close to $200 and charged a higher price than it was quoted online. Horrible customer service. This location has really bad review with all concern included they should be report to an higher level management.

I don’t normally write 1 star reviews, but I believe circumstances obligate me to hopefully save someone else the unfortunate experience of dealing with U-Haul. I attempted to pay my storage fee online for 1 month. After confirming all of my info and clicking on the “pay now” button, I was taken to the receipt page which showed 2 months of storage with accompanying fees. When confronted with this situation, U-Haul informed me that I would be receiving a call from a manager in the next 1-4 days. Received a call from this location the next day where I learned that they wouldn’t be able to refund a single month exclusively, but they’d have to refund the entire amount and afterwards, have me pay for 1 month. Upon checking my bank statement later that day, I learned that they had taken another month of fees on top of the original excess amount of 2 months. When confronted with this info, I was told I had to sort it out with my bank. After speaking with my bank, I found out that uhaul hadnt even initiated my refund. So here I am, $300 worth of erroneous charges from U-Haul, account in the negative with my car insurance due tomorrow and 4 hours of my life I’ll never get back. Moral of the story, dont use U-Haul. If you value your money/time that is.

I booked online for a truck. I received a email and text messages to confirm time and location for pick up. When I arrived at the location I was told that they did not have reservation till 7 hours later. When i showed them the email and text messages that i recieved, they advised that it must have just been a generic email. The person helping me went on break, so I got to wait for another employee to help several customers customers while checking on my truck when he had time to work on it. I was at the location for an hour, which ended with me being sent 15 miles in the opposite direction that I was traveling. Oh and when I dropped the truck off today I received an additional charge for mileage. Worst Uhaul experience I have every had
I rented a u box to ship from WA to Georgia. The only thing this location did right was pick up the u box when they said they would, but even then, the driver must have called my personal phone asking if we were ready at least 8-10 times. We were one of her 2 pick ups for the day so I felt super rushed! It was ridiculous! It was picked up thursday March 22nd, didnt leave the facility until late Saturday the 24th. Customer service during the transporting time has been horrible. No one apparently knows what is going on. No one can track their own drivers. If I can track a package or piece of mail why is it I cant track my personal belongings I am paying this company over $2000 to ship?!?! Guaranteed arrival was supposed to be April 8th. No calls, no emails. Every time I made an attempt to call customer service I was left on hold for 30min minimum. Our box did not arrive on time. We are told the changed date is the 10th but even that is not 100% guaranteed. This location, its drivers and overall company need to get it together! I will NEVER use this company again!
The owner of this facility is good at running his business and friendly, but rather apathetic about Uhauls mistakes that inconvenience his customers. Also, their truck return operation needs work; I and several other customers waited about 30 minutes to return our vehicles and almost went over the return by time because of this.

If I could give negative stars I would. Lack of communication and misinformation from every single employee and Manager I was in contact with. After a long and complex and frustrating day of trying to rely on UHau of Auburn to give us any information on the delivery of our UBoxes, we went to talk to the store manage the following day to express our frustrations and unhappiness. He did not care, did not pretend to try to care and offered such a small amount of compensation for our issues that it was insulting. Manager does not care about helping the customer, and just stares at you while you talk like you are not even there. The store might have the boxes you are looking to buy, but when it comes to ANYTHING else customer service focused, do your self a favor and drive out of your way to a different location.

This place is a cluster F_ _ _! They have SO many trucks stored there that accessing your storage is impossible. The loading bays are double parked with uhaul. Drug users shoot up in the bathrooms or at least leave their used suringes visible in the trash. Staff is fairly helpful, there are a few 3 or 4 really great people staffed and work hard, but the manager makes you feel like its a privilege that he is in at all, and your lucky to see him perform! The storage is not as safe as they make it sound, alarm sounds off....but no one comes during or after hours if you have the late access card and you pay additional $$ to have that which should pay for a graveyard shift employee. Its the location and inside structure that brought me here, not customer service, not the security. I know that my belongings would NOT get damaged by the elemits. CORPORATE SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO CHARGE PEOPLE SO MUCH AND HAVE SUCH SHOTTY PARKING AND MANAGEMENT & SECURITY!

I called to reschedule an appointment for a hitch installation and was assured, much to my hesitation, that it was taken care of. I was even given a start time for my project. Of course, when I showed up, the employees had no record of the appointment and were very rude about it. Im very hesitant to use any product from this company and so disappointed it in, what they, call customer service.
Customer service is not good.I went on wesday noon to ask for information about a storage unit really poor quality of customer service they couldnt even tell me how big a 10 x 10 is nor they didnt want to show me. Bought some boxes and my car was on the other side and nobody care to help me I bought 6 boxes difrent sizes.
Abosultely terrible customer service. Went to the location in person and booked an appointment 1 week ahead of time to access a Ubox in storage, only to show up and have them say they had no record for action. This was after calling multiple times and receiving zero information over the phone. They always say they will call you, and then never do. On site the alarm is always going off, but no one seems to do anything. Definitely do not reccomend using this place.
If I had a chance to put negative 5 starts I would. I ordered a uhaul hitch for my car. On April 19. I was told it would take 30 days since its a special order. I arrived next month they told me it takes up to 60 days. And they had schaduled me installation day on June 19. Thats 2 mounts later. I had arrived on 19th they dont have my order and they dont know where its at. I came in today to find out more information they told be we will have you hitch in august. Thats 4 months later since the day I had ordered. I got a contract number. Waisted my time and didnt want to refund me back. Negative review I would not recommend it nor step inside the store one more time. dont use Uhaul

1 month out I made arrangements to get a uhaul and transport. Went in 3 days prior just to make sure they knew I was coming, therefore easy transaction. Oh no... not only did they NOT have my trailer but I had to drive 20 miles out of the way to pick up a trailer that has no right blinker or Brake light. Issue is in truck and tonight the Uhaul mechanic came out and could not even find the fuse box... should be on road at 6am. Prolly be 9ish... ONLY get a UHAUL from someplace that actually services them. At least is a 121K rig so breakdown should not happen. Fingers crossed. Only nice thing I can say is these newer trucks do 55 over the passes even with a trailer and fully loaded.

Fairly large location with many vehicles available for moving. The staff was about as friendly as they could muster up, which want much, but their little bit went a long way for a walk-up rental.
The guy who delivered my ubox from there to Redmond was excellent. That was smoothing sailing there. Customer service at this location is where I experienced frustration. They were not responsive when they should have been even with their Central Customer Service iming them to contact me. Delays and notifications were not given to me.Now it seems like this location supports a wide area of the Seattle Wa area so they were probably busy. If they had told me this than I would have completely understood. It takes a few seconds to tell that and to calm customers nerves. But they didnt. The customer services at this location in fact responded as if no problems were happening. And thats why I write this review. My full story is below:Customer Service here had the habit of not contacting me at all about my ubox. They didnt call me within 24hrs about my ubox arriving. Having get in touch of them required an email from Central Customer Service. They IMed this location 4 separate times marked Urgent telling me each time theres a representative there that can receive the message. They were to receive that IM and promptly respond back to me. 2 separate times Central Customer Service waited for this location to respond back to the IM as I was still on call to insure I would be serviced. The email they sent seemed to work as 4 hrs afterwords they respond to me on scheduling.Once I finally get a contact from this location, they respond without any awareness about what I went through. They called with a different phone number so this number finally gets in touch with them. On the day of getting my ubox back, I received a call about arrival window. 50 mins after it didnt arrive I call back and thats when they told me there was a problem with the truck and their would be a delay. They didnt call me about this problem and I was the first and top delivery. They said they would call back about when I can expect it. I waited for 5 mins until calling them for an arrival window because I was already low on expecting anything from them. At least the delivery guy was the only one I could rely on( I think his name was Larry.) If my ubox affects their pay, I hope it all goes out to him.
I have rented here and dropped off several times. Always friendly and pretty efficient.

Terrible place. They do not inspect trucks before you rent them. I had 2 completely break down with massive failures. They refused to compensate for any of it.
Worst customer service 2 people were on their brake and had a whole line waiting. I’m very disappointed. The express check in does not work as well.

Place is clean but the falsely advertise 24 hour access. Youve got to first be there 3 months and paid on time every month before theyll let you have 24 hour access to your things.

Couldnt care less that my reservation wasnt held. Had to wait 8 hours & drive 10 miles to a different location for a truck.
Cheap propane
Didnt have correct reservation info for the truck I reserved, and charged a higher price per mile than I was quoted online. Many attempts to nickel and dime us. I will try elsewhere next time.
Had a schedule to get a hitch installed on my truck for 10 on a Monday over 2 weeks ahead of time, then get called two days before the install day and told that there is already a install schedule for that time and that I could come in at 1 or another day, the person was rude when they called so now I have to rearrange me schedule around them, when I had this planed over 2 weeks ago
