I guess I should have read the reviews 1st.. I have dealt with rent a center for over 25 years in TEXAS.. never have they made me call over 20 times to the point I felt like I was getting on their nerves.. I guess they are still busy..☹
Not willing to work with you, very rude, and they will haras you and anyone you put down as a contact. I will never get anything from them again.

This is the third time I have had the worse experience with your employees. I have never in all my years of customer service treated any of my shoppers with such attitude and disrespect!! They need training on phone etiquette and customer service. I purchased a third item from your store I called the store 3 days after getting the table because I noticed it was not on my account and wanted to pay early the manager told me that he was unable to do it and another employee would have to. No one put it on. Now almost a month later they finally got it on there and Once again i was not billed for it. They called and because I was at work I did not answer they imminently called my job. they did not give me a chance to call back and i was on a conference call. Do you know how embarrassing it is to be pulled away from a meeting with my corporate office. Do you allow this behavior? Then the guy got an attitude with me and hung up!! the very first week of having my furniture they called me at 12pm the day was not even over and i have automatic payments and threatened to take my furniture because their system doesnt pull till midnight the same day!
Up until this point my experience with Rent-A-Center has been okay theyve worked with me in the past with covid-19 when I lost my job Ive made all my payments some were late yes but I recently had a problem with a laptop I have the protection plan on it so I went to the store to have them send it to the shop after a week I called to ask if they had heard anything back they said it could take 2 to 4 weeks I found out that it stayed in their store for a week before they sent it my payment came due when they called me I asked them if I could skip a payment because my computer has been gone for 2 weeks I havent been able to use it they told me they could not I have lost all respect for this but it says on there that theyre willing to work with you on flexible payments and help you skip a payment I dont get it

Im trying to figure out why this store doesnt have the proper landline phone or phone set up. Please contact your phone service provider to fix it. Also very rude when I said something about them sounding far away and not being able to hear them. I have several voicemails of just static.I had an issue with my debit card that needed to be fixed due to the bank putting a security hold on my account, and they kept harassing me for a time of when I could pay and it had to be within business hours?.How does that help? And what does asking if my pay schedule still the same have to due with a bank issue-you obviously called my work phone and my voice message is the same? lol. Do I have a crystal ball of when banks fix things?Cant wait to be done with this contract. I wish I would of knew about the other Rent a center store on E Colfax ave where I had to pick up the actual computer.They were way nicer and more organized there.I also had to call them before my pick up, and guess what their in-store phone works.Go to the E colfax center. Skip this location completely.
BUYER BEWARE THIS store money LAUNDERS and commits credit card d fraud on peoples cards.. their products they dont honor their warranties

Horrible service, they are some what decent enough to make you feel like you can do business with them. Beware..once you do they their customers with zero respect. I was in my last 2 payments decided to pay off the total a few days (5) after the regular due date, a man came to my car window after getting home from week and picking up kids from after school care and he comforted me demanding payment would not let me out of car. I felt intimidated and afraid after I told him I would pay online explained I was a long time Customer and about to make final payment for pay off. He would not let me out of my car and continued to demand payment. Called the office on Mississippi they did not care, had to call corporate they did not agree with this behavior apologized to me, thanked me for being a customer and assured me this will be escalated as high as needed to resolve and address. AVOID BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION OR CHOOSE ANOTHER BUSINESS ALTOGETHER!!
