Very satisfied with the service that Armstrong provided. Everyone involved in my cross country move was helpful, courteous and easy to work with. They took good care of me and made the process smooth. Grateful for my coordinator and the movers who loaded and unloaded all my stuff. Would use these folks again!

Avoid! Disastrous pack and move coordinated by United. Lots of items missing and damaged, incorrect inventory and numbering - extremely poor load. Receiving end told me they had never seen such a poor pack and load. Damage to 50+ items, from serving dishes to collectibles, electronics to furniture. Awful.

The Armstrong Relocation company was amazing compared to the company (at origin) that moved me to Parker, CO. I had great service and communication was on point, to include I was called about an hour before they arrived to make sure we were ready for them to show up. Michael Angelo and TK were an amazing team along with the rest of Michael’s team. He runs a tight crew and customer satisfaction I see he drives for every minute of the job. I was impressed with Michael’s knowledge of how to talk to the customer and how to get the job done to my satisfaction. Michaels team’s work ethic shows with Michaels leadership ability and we are incredibly grateful for Armstrong to have such a hard quality worker. I hope he stays around because I can see him being the role-model employee everyone should strive to achieve in this line of business. Michael, Thank You and your team for all the work you provided during the move to Colorado.

Painful from start to finish.Armstrong Relocation was recently hired to handle a move from Denver to New York City. For a company that claims to be committed to quality and customer satisfaction, the entire move was anything but. The whole experience was COMPLETE FRUSTRATION.The pack and load out of Denver:- the loading crew arrived without all the necessary packing materials… my intervention was required- the loading crew arrived 2 hours later than schedule and insisted on taking a lunch break a half hour in- the loaders took 5 hours to load a 700 sq ft apartment, with the entire pack/move process consuming an entire day… 9am-7pm- the lead loader was extremely disgruntled, claiming that he was quitting Armstrong Relocations…?!- the lead loader used inappropriate language, made condescending remarks that constituted harassment and demonstrated complete disregard for my belongings- the secondary loader could neither speak nor understand English!- the loaders attempted to dispose of 2 large wooden crates (in the truck from a move earlier in the day) on my property- the loaders left without performing a final walk through… one cupboard in the kitchen was completely missed- the loaders attempted to leave without providing appropriate documentationThis was passed along to the co-ordinator, who elevated it to Rae Cook, the president of Armstrong Relocations. Ms. Cook’s response was a hollow “I’m sorry” and nothing more. No explanation. No reassurance. Clearly no commitment to “quality customer service”.Furthermore, Ms. Cook failed to follow up as she had promised to do.The delivery and assembly in New York City:- less than 24 hours notice was given of a full day’s delay in delivery, resulting in last minute hotel accommodations- Armstrong Relocations paid $100… insufficient to cover a night’s accommodation in any American city, let alone New York City- two items were damaged (see attached photos):- night table – damaged beyond repair- bed frame – head board crackedAs an affiliate of United Van Lines, we can only conclude that UVL does not care about the quality of their local affiliates. Save yourself a lot of headaches and avoid Armstrong Relocations.

We used Armstrong to relocate us from Denver to Omaha. The packing, loading, trucking and unloading were all handled excellently. The driver was great. The coordinator was terrific. The sales person was very good at estimating. No overcharges or changes. We were really pleased. We did have one problem. The president of Armstrong, Josh, got involved. He took care of things promptly and made sure we were satisfied. He then sent a hand written personal note of apology. Who writes handwritten notes anymore? A company and gentleman that really care about customer service does. Im impressed. Highly recommend. Thank you Armstrong.

Overall the move was great and easy, movers had everything prepped and ready to go... only downside was that i finally was able to unpack the TV about 2 weeks after the move was complete. As soon as i turned it on, it showed the screen to be more shattered than my hopes and dreams. This was well after i closed out, so this is mainly my fault for not looking at it sooner.

We were very pleased with the work that Armstrong did for our move. I was a little apprehensive having read a number of negative reviews about movers in general, but found the customer reviews for Armstrong to be more positive than others of their competitors. And this was also our experience.Starting with Sherrie and Christine who coordinated our move I couldnt have been more pleased. They were attentive, kept me in the loop over the entire process, and responded to challenges timely and effectively.I was very pleased with Herman and his team of packers that not only did their work professionally, but also helped with moving our refrigerator that was not to be included in the move.I also thought the loaders and unloaders handled their work well. Overall very happy with the work of Armstrong. The only concern we had was the driver was uncomfortable putting our hutch shelving back together (even though the packers who undid it stated that they would put it back together). That said, when we contacted Sherrie about the issue she arranged for it to be put back together and it was done in short order. Thanks to Armstrong for a job well done!

Our moving experience could not have been any better. Our house was approximately 7350 sq feet and there was a lot of work. The crew which packed our house was amazing. They were super careful and very quick and efficient. The crew that loaded the truck was also really amazing. The guys were super concientous and hard working. Everyone was on time and respectful of our property. Thoughout the process, a move coordinator checked in on our satisfaction. Our belongings arrived and were delivered in Oklahoma City at the early part of the promise window in excellent condition. The same driver who loaded the truck directed the crew which unloaded the truck which was very helpful. It was a great move!

Appalling customer service. If the rep that answered, Miguel, worked for me, I would have fired him in a heartbeat. When asked about the cost...a very typical and simple question (call me crazy if you must) Miguel wouldnt even answer. he literally asked if price was a driving factor in the decision, which, of course the answer was yes. So he said he wishes the best for me and tried to sell me on how he would be doing the best and most careful work when moving etc etc. Its embarrassing how some people feel customer service is completely irrelevant to being successful.Trust me when I say this, I would rather pay much more than whatever this location has to offer for someone whos competent enough to answer me directly.

After a great move. It was brought to my attention that movers were seen on my survalience going through my drawers and were picking out valueables that I thought had been miss placed originally. After calling to Inform management, I was told by A Ms.Cook that I was a liar and it was too late to do anything. Wouldn’t refer them to anyone.

I tried to overlook a lot of things at first because the two guys seemed very kind despite arriving a day later than we were scheduled for. I think the trouble is they hire outside contractors to do the moving and then dont cover expenses like trucks and crew members directly. I was told that we would have a shuttle truck (box truck) to fill our tractor trailer. The contractor tried to save money by only renting a box truck which made packing things very tight. They were begging us to take a load in our truck (so we did). I guess it was so tight that they left two small truck loads behind. We got a head start back to our new house and they assured us that they would grab EVERYTHING. Well, we live almost 4 hours away now and were told by our neighbor who checked in that our house looked ransacked (were in the middle of showings and trying to sell it). So we had to hire a cleaner and make TWO trips back to get the rest of our belongings. I brought this to the attention of Armstrong Relocation and the response was that I signed the form that says my house was completely packed up so theyre not liable. I thought I could take these guys at their word. Theyll say anything to get you to sign and get onto the next job as soon as possible. Its sad because despite the lack of punctuality, I really thought these guys were awesome UNTIL I saw what was left behind in my old house. Sending them dated pictures of everything left behind wasnt enough ammunition. I didnt want to say anything again because I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, but the movers were several hours late each packing day and even on loading day. They would even text us and say they were a half hour away and still show up two hours late. I was told there would three movers for this job and there were only two. I guess the contractor was cutting corners everywhere he could (cant blame him since this isnt supplied) but it hurts service tremendously. Another thought is to stick to the original moving date! We were told July 5th someone would be there, so we took off work early to drive there and got a call on the evening of the fourth notifying us that the drivers wouldnt be there until the 6th. All in all, Armstrong left a really bad taste in my mouth.

I did a move from Denver to Washington DC and had about 15,000 pounds of good to include a lot of high end items. Overall, based on my many moves, I would rate this company at the bottom of the list of all of my movers over the past 30 years. There were parts of the experience that were decent and I wanted to be fair in the overall assessment. The sales process was pretty good. The sales person, Angel, was aggressive and responsive. He did a nice job on the front end of the process to include showing up for move day to make sure things went well. He also helped moving. Unfortunately, he did not care after the move happened as we have run in to many issues. After running 4 successful companies myself, it appears that there is a bad culture issue at Armstrong. When things were starting to go bad, I received a call from Angel not to complain about Sherrie since she was up for a national customer service award. Not want I wanted to hear – I wanted to hear he was going to fix my problem – which 2 months later still hasn’t happened. He also became confrontational when I became unhappy about the move. He went on the attack - similar to the rest of the people at Armstrong – ergo the assessment of a culture issue.Sherrie was our coordinator and unfortunately for us she missed the mark on everything she was involved in. I was tired of hearing she was sorry – just put in someone who can do the job.The movers on the Denver end were polite and worked hard all day. I wish they had packed things according to room instead of combing stuff into one box – made unpacking very difficult. They also broke a few items in the kitchen while packing but never replaced them. We felt we treated them well – a cash tip plus a few thousand dollars of furniture to the moves at no charge. The driver Dave did a good job coordinating and getting things out of the building and packed. I wish I had not fallen for the oldest scam in the moving industry – a binding quote. They do this saying they cannot control the upside. Well that is their job to do an accurate quote, so to get a binding quote is almost always in their favor. I would say it hurt me, but they never weighed the shipment on the way to DC or they lied to me about it. Take the quote and not the binding quote. The industry needs to clean up this part of their process as it only appears that people are being taken advantage of during this quote process. The move in was not a good experience. First we had asked Armstrong to have people on the DC end that could help us unpack, which they quoted to us. They unpackers never showed. The movers (except the driver) were rude and condescending. They showed a complete lack of respect for my wife and I. The put boxes in the wrong room even after being directed. We had many things broken and now after 2 months, still have no word on our claim other than it wasn’t their fault. They will not respond - to include the president who i have emailed a few times. The art work that was damaged still sits in a corner with no plan to fix it. They also did not uncrate several crates, per our plan, as we put them in storage until we could settle in. We are no told that they will no uncrate them unless we pay them more. We were quoted for crating of 11 pieces and had only 5 of them uncrated. The total crating cost was $1150. We were give a refund of $138 for not uncrating and then was told it would cost $250 per crate to come back out. Consistent with the misleading statements throughout the process.Overall the responsiveness of this organization should scare anyone out of using them, We paid close to $20,000 for the move and did not receive close to the service I received moving out to Denver 4 years back. I value integrity and customer service in my own very successful businesses and am appalled to see companies like this that allow their customer to be treated in such a manner.
