WARNING! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!They arrived in a bogus truck saying they broke down They were 5 hours late for arrival. When we got to my destination, they would not take my credit card and demanded cash. I didnt have cash on me and couldnt get to a bank since it was so late. I went into the apartment, when I came back outside they were gone... With all my belongings. I received a call from them stating if I didnt pay cash they were keeping my items. I slept I my place with my dog and one blanket. They dont even deserve one star! Worst experience I ever been through. Checkout the website????
My grandfather and grandmother needed to move from Denver Colorado to Evergreen Colorado. They own luxurious stuff, some even from 1950s. So, I needed some reliable and quality moving company to help me with the moving. Go King Mover offered me the best solution and I am extremely satisfied with the choice I made.I hired 2 trucks and 6 guys to move their expensive home. Everything was moved carefully and fast. They pay great attention to instructions and they even suggested me some creative solutions while packing. I got top quality service for a very affordable price.
I was extremely impressed with the 2 men who showed up to move my items. Specifically they were extremely accurate in guessing the exact time that it would take to do each stage of the move, from loading to driving to unloading. And there was terrible traffic on the day we moved to Frisco because of some snow, and they called a couple of times to update me on where they were and how fast or slow the drive was going. They were totally positive and smiling the entire time and I felt that they enjoyed what they were doing. Great job and I was extremely satisfied with everything and their pricing was the best around as well.
We had a good experience with Go King. They just finished the fastest and most professional move of all time! The crew was prompt, courteous, and above all very fast. I can not compliment them enough. Not a scratch on any of my stuff too, which has to be a plus, and best of all the estimate was for eight hours and the job finished in just under six! From a very happy customer. 5 stars
If I could give them a zero star rating I would. Not only did they not show up, but didnt even bother to call me. TWICE!!!! Here is my story. The day before my move, they called and gave me a three hour window to be home. From 10 am to 1 pm. The day of my move, 12:50 comes around and I call them to find out where they are. They assured me someone was calling me right now. At 1:20, I called and said I never got the call and where were the movers b/c they have NOT showed up yet. I explained I had a cleaning crew coming at 3 and a walk through the following day. They said they were still on their morning job and then gave me a new time. My new window was from 4 - 6 pm. No one bothered to call or show up for this appointment either. When I called at 5:30, they said they were wrapping up and was calling me right then. NO ONE DID.Kind MOVERS set two windows for me to wait and not only did they NOT show up, they didnt have the courtesy to call me and tell me to make other arrangements.I then called the Manager and told her the situation. I told her I was reaching out one more time before writing a formal complaint to the BBB and she still hasnt returned my call. Obviously they dont care about their customers or people time.B/c they have been so unprofessional I had to move at NIGHT, pay the cleaning crew to come two days later and had to reschedule my final walk through. They messed up not only my schedule but other peoples and dont even care. This company is the most unprofessional company I have EVER dealt with. I will NEVER recommend them to ANYONE and will always tell EVERYONE my experience. How they can even stay open is beyond me.
I am giving King Moving and Storage 5 Stars; not because they a perfect job, but because Robert Bruno and the management team stepped forward and fixed whatever was wrong. The mistake was not even that big of one, yet hey more than compensayted for it. It was great to feel like the company really had my bests interests at heart.
I was hesitant at first because of some bad reviews. But we had three guys and had to move furniture to two different locations. They were organized and very professional. Took great care to protect furniture. Took furniture apart and reassembled in each location. All was done within several hours. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that they were a bit late
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. I recently used Brunos team for a simple move that only took 2 hours. When I spoke with Bruno back in April I told him it was a 2 hour move, he said fine, but we have a minimum 3 hour charge, plus and hour minimum for travel charge. So the movers showed up, had me loaded and moved in 2 hours. I was charged a minimum of 4 hours, plus the drive time. I tried several attempts to reach out to Bruno but he never returned my calls, and the one time I did get him on the phone, he told me he was to busy to speak to me. Now the movers were great, very nice guys. But, beware, they do not take care of your furniture when they load it. I had lots of cosmetic damage to several pieces. But here is the kicker, doesnt matter if they damage your stuff, the agreement you MUST sign in order for them to move you concerning damages has the amounts they are not responsible for so high that it basically indemnifies them from any responsibility to replace or fix anything they destroy.Just so people know, these guys may say they are $69 and hour, but they are actually $118 per hour, with 4 hour minimum, and add another hour minimum for travel charge. There are far better movers out there that will not only put your best interests first, but at a much more reasonable price, wont charge our a full hour of travel time for a 15 min travel time. Somehow, I paid for 5 hours of time, when the physical work time was a total of 2 hours. You do the math, can you say RIPOFF. Trust me all the negative reviews are real about this company and Bruno. The positive ones are probably from his own staff and people that have been paid to write a positive review.I learned my lesson with my most recent move. I will stick with the guys that truly will treat my items with respect and stick to what I am quoted to the letter. Bruno is a crook, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVING!
My sister referred me to Go King Mover. I called and they convinced me that getting a bid over the phone would not be as accurate as a bid in person. So I agreed to an “Onsite Estimate” they were the only company that suggested the onsite. They just finished the move and my estimate was $45.00 higher than my bill so they charged me the lower number. The movers were on time, efficient, clean, and friendly. The fact that I did not get overcharged is reason enough to recommend Go King Mover. The great service is just the icing on the cake. Highly Recommend Go King Mover Inc. as the moving company you should use!
Help! In late May, 2014, I had Go King Mover move and store virtually everything I own. I needed to go away for months to care for my mother. On returning, it seems no one answers Go King Movers phone, they have no website, and everything I own is, well, gone? Does anyone have any idea if theyre still open? If so, how to contact them? If not, is there any way to get my things back?Desperately,Paul
I used King Moving & Storage twice and both times I had excellent service! The movers were quick, friendly, and very careful with my items moved. The people that I spoke to on the phone were extremely nice and very helpful. I got a confirmation call the day before and I also received a call from the driver of the truck to let me know that there was potential he would be an hour late. I got an other call from him a little later to let me know they would be a little late, but only by 20-30 mins; 20 mins later, they arrived. He went over the paper work with me and answered the questions I had complete with pleasant demeanor. He was very thorough and moved my heavy boxes down three flights of stairs (as our elevator went out that morning). I apologized about the elevator and the guy just smiled and said it would have been very nice to use, but it was all part of the job. None of my belongings were damaged in any way, and I had nothing less than a great experience all around. I will call them for any of my moves in the future.
DO NOT HIRE THESE FRAUDS!!!! I have moved over 10 times, and this was a MILLION times worse then any other move i have had! They WILL con you and they have had several 7 news investigates segments. They come up with crazy outlandish costs, and if you refuse to pay them, they have and WILL haul your stuff away. THEY ARE CON ARTISTS! DO NOT USE THEM! STAY away...you would be better off using your 80 year old grandma then these shmucks!
Im a real person as opposed to all of these 5 star paid reviewers. Theres no way that there are this many people rating this company on Google. My initial quote from King was 1/2 of what it ended up being thanks to my movers being out of shape idiots who couldnt move furniture. My dad, grandpa and I all had to help get the bigger things out of the house and the movers took frequent breaks to inflate the amount of time. They also billed for time spent on the phone.Several items were damaged during the move that the movers acknowledged. It has been 7 months and King has still not settled my furniture claim.AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
CONSUMER ALERTResearch this company thoroughly before you call!!!!! 48 complaints have been filed against them with the Denver BBB. An undercover investigation against them by Denver 7 News revealed the owner convicted of heavy fines by the Colorado state regulatory agency as well as charges and fines of $275,000 by the Colorado State Attorney General of running magazine-sales telemarketing companies that deceived and defrauded consumers across the nation. **source: Denver 7 News
Written by my boyfriend:Using this company was, quite simply, the worst experience Ive had with movers or ANY retail/customer service company. We set up our move through a national company called Father and Son Moving, which then contracts out to local movers, in this case, King Moving and Storage. We confirmed our move date almost two weeks in advance and paid a $100 deposit for our move on Friday 6/28. The day before the move, King called to confirm for a morning move. I had to remind them that we had been set up for an afternoon move. This was my first contact with King and I should have taken it as an omen. Luckily, they had scheduled a lady for an afternoon move who had actually wanted a morning move, so they just switched us. Crisis averted, or so I thought. We were told that our move window was 2-4pm. At 1:30, we received a phone call from King telling us that the 6 hour move from the morning was going to be a 12 hour move, they would be unable to get to us, and they were going to have to move us first thing the next day. Really? They offered us 5% off because of this inconvenience. I asked for 10% and the representative told me he couldnt do that. I called Father and Son to discuss the situation and they were able to get us the extra 5%, although I was still mad about the situation. I called King and told them that the next day would be fine. I was told that we would be moved first thing in the morning and the move window was 6-8am. I asked, since we were first, if we could get a more set time and I was told that they have to give a two hour window because they dont know what traffic is going to be like. I didnt think traffic would be an issue at 6am on a Saturday, but I reluctantly agreed. My girlfriend and I were up and at the apartment at 6am. Then we waited. And waited. And waited some more. At 8:05 I called King. I was told that the movers HADNT EVEN ARRIVED AT THE OFFICE and that he didnt know when they would be getting there. I didnt receive a phone call or anything from King to let me know. I had to call them. The dispatcher on the phone seemed flustered and I asked him to call me as soon as the movers arrived and were headed our way.10am, no call. I called King and nobody answered, so I left a voicemail. 10:30am, I called again and nobody answered. 11am, I called again and nobody answered. At this point I wondered if they were screening their calls so they wouldnt have to talk to me. At 12:15 my girlfriend called from her phone and somebody answered (suspicions confirmed about them screening calls). She explained the situation and asked what the plan was. Silence on the other end. She even had to say are you still there? The dispatcher then said that he would get a manager, at which point they hung up on her.At 1pm I called Father and Son, the parent company and spoke with a customer service representative. She was very apologetic about the situation. She contacted someone at King and told me that I should receive a call within 10 minutes from them. I did not. After 20 minutes I called her back, at which point she tried to have her manager speak with me but he was busy on the phone and she said that he would call me in 10 minutes. I confirmed with her that I could get my deposit back if I canceled, which she said I could.I got a call back from the F&S representative telling me that King had a truck available and they were on their way. I told her not to bother and that I wanted to cancel. The whole thing was a debacle. Luckily, we didnt schedule our move on the last day of the month, otherwise we would have been completely screwed. The biggest frustrations were that King didnt honor our original contract, didnt honor our rescheduled move, and blatantly refused to talk to me about why any of this was happening or to let me know what was going on.We will never use this company again.
They took 2 xs as long to move me, broke many things and have yet to pay for them and charged me 2xs as much to move. They did not arrive on time the day they stated I had to track them down to even get them to show up and they were 4 + hours late.I have many complaints with the BBB on them. Use at your own risk, they hold your items hostage on the truck if you do not pay even though they go over by hours.
