I go here for tea sometimes because its so close to my home. Its decent, but the tea is kind of expensive compared to other places in the area, and they dont have any cream sitting out.
Really bad compared to the OG Tempe location. Cartel is supposed to be consistent across their locations but it seems this location is not good. Coffee too hot that the flavor when brewed is ruined. Sad to see coming from phoenix.
The sweetened Chai Latte was delicious and extremely convenient being next to the hotel I stayed at
I was charged $7.75 for a large oat milk latte and $7 for a large hot latte, I didnt bother checking the receipt because I had thought the place would have charged normal prices. My bill for two lattes was $18.37. I still dont understand this breakdown. Regardless the coffee was good and still deserves a good review for quality of coffee. Thank you for your generous response!
GREAT coffee!! Friendly staff! Since the first day I went, this place quickly became my neighborhood go-to for my morning coffee. Nothing but great vibes, great people and awesome coffee. They have done a great job navigating the COVID restrictions while making me still feel welcome. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Literally the most expensive 16oz black drip coffee Ive ever seen - $4.50??? and I only found out after ordering because they dont have prices on the menu. the coffee is fine but there are so many other options near here that are more worth your money
My new favorite coffee shop in Austin! I love the taste of their coffee and all of the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Check them out!
Cute space. Coffee is good. Kind of pricey.
Great coffee, great folks. Hooked it up. They were our equivalent of the French plantation scene in the nightmare film that was our Snowpocalypse.
Never felt more unwelcome or unappreciated as a customer. I work near this location and wanted to support a small business. When I came in I had to call for someone since nobody was up front. When the barista came back he begrudgingly took my order. I was the only person in the shop and since he wasn’t interested in conversation I sat down on the opposite side of the shop while he made my order. He immediately berated me about how I was putting his health at risk. There’s a plexiglass barrier, we both had masks, and I was about 15 feet away. A simple “hey we don’t want people using our furniture” would have worked. I’d love to support small business but next time I’ll support a local Texas company that understands hospitality.
If youre going to operate a business in Texas, it would be best to learn the laws. Door has a 30.07 sign (no open carry), so I covered up when I saw it and walked in. Barista dude watched from the inside and asked me to leave my sidearm outside.I clarified that the sign was 30.07 (no open carry), not 30.06 (no guns at all), and he confirmed, but said covering my gun with my shirt and jacket wasnt a valid method of concealment (false), and that to have it concealed, it had to be inside my waistband or something.Youre welcome to make whatever rules you want, but would be best to know the laws before telling your customers theyre wrong? Or just slap up a 30.06 sign and avoid us law abiding gun owners altogether! :)
Consistently great coffee and easy parking in the 15 min spots out front.
Nice coffee shop.
Great coffee. Like, ACTUALLY great coffee. The Sour Duck pastries are amazing as well! Nice little location.Bad glare in the AM, though. Bring some shades!
Great place! Very cool atmosphere. Ask for Connor! He’ll take care of you! He’s a very talented barista! We had a group of 5 from out of town and everyone was very pleased with their drinks!
Great cold brew!
So happy to have a little slice of Arizona in Austin. The new space is fresh, airy, and complimented by super friendly staff! I tried the Black Market cold brew and it is delicious. Welcome to Texas!
Not only was the service great, the coffee was too. Even better and what I remember best is the way the morning sun warms and lightens the entire space. Perfect.
The barista added his own tip to my order without asking me. Thats stealing.
The coffee was really good. Also had a very nice chat with the barista, very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
I visited their location regularly in Scottsdale. Happy to see the cartel in Austin because they have awesome coffee. This is truly a coffee lab.
Unfortunate combination of lousy espresso and poor service.
Very knowledgable staff, accommodating space to work/talk/overconsume caffiene, and of course delicious bean juice
Lovely new Austin addition! Great space. Be sure to tip.
Great food and coffee. Thanks!
This is an excellent coffee shop offering quality espresso and friendly service. The space is small but inviting, and has a very modern commercial feel.
Best Cortado in Austin, used to have their coffee in Arizona and it’s just as good
Amazing lattes
