My first trip to Lone Star was Monday 1/14/19. The hotel told me they were the closest convenience store. Paid cash for a few items and left.Wednesday 1/16/19 I wanted to pick up a few souvenirs so I headed back to Lone Star. I decided to check their reviews this time and saw tons of bad reviews. It made me glad that I didnt charge anything on my first trip but I needed to use my credit card for the souvenirs.When I entered the store I let either the manager or the owner know about all the bad reviews a had just read. He assured me that every items price is properly marked and no overcharging takes place.I purchased a few shirts that were reasonably priced and received a 5% discount and was charged exactly what I was told and my receipt totaled.

I distinctively remember my purchase total being $23 at this store and then I go onto my bank account and Ive been charged $53!!! All I bought was a pack of juul pods ($15) and a pack of cigarettes ($7). I should not have been charged $53!!!! Do not go there!!!!

I don’t recommend this place at all. They try distracting you by talking to you, when you ask what the price is, they ignore you. I gave my credit like normal (only bought a 12 pack) and when the cashier gave me the receipt to sign, it said $54!!! He smiled, pointed to sign on door which read “no refunds or returns” and said “Welcome to Austin, Bitch”. Please help put this place out of business!

They have cool mods. But there juice is expensive and not because its better like the staff likes to pretend.

They act like you arent going to notice that they are charge way to much, while they talk to you at check out. I see what you are doing, and its not cool.Never going here again.

I was robbed by the store employee... I feel sad for this small person. He first asked us what we do for a living and asked us how much we make a year. Very personal questions and while I was shocked and uncomfortable, I noticed the receipt for a 12 pack of Coors light was $54. He pointed at the sign and said no refunds or returns; welcome to Austin and get out of my store. He robbed us. Do not shop at this store. Beware!!

Wow. These guys are the worst gougers in the state of Texas. Walk two blocks east and pay half price for pretty much everything at any of the several souvenir shops/convenient stores.

Very convenient local down town food mart. Great to grab a pack of smokes while down town. If your on 6th street there are not to many places to grab fresh water. located in the center of 6th street right next to the Stage.

It is one of the worst store in sixth street. He abuses customer in their native language

Zero star! They Tried to take advantage of my party thinking that we were intoxicated. Tried selling us a BOTTLE of WATER for $6.99!!!!Outrages! Scammers! !

This is the worst store on all of 6th Street to buy products. Everything is marked up by over 50% and the owners of the store openly laugh that customers will overpay for their products. Literally go anywhere but this place. They are ripping off college and even tourists.

These Indians/Pakistani people are taking advantage of people by selling things over priced. Definitely scam artists!

If you dont ask for a receipt they will overcharge you and smile while doing it. Charged almost $50 for 2 packs of cigarettes.

Quite clear rip-off shop. Definitely not recommended. The seller has deducted a completely outrageous sum from the credit card, there was no bill. Be sure to insist on an invoice, in case you land in the store and should buy something !!!

Really bad! has also charged us too much for cigarettes, was mega rude. and totally outrageous! We will complain and try to get the money back! Awful!
